Claire pushes past him, and Peter grabs her arm. She turns on him, her eyes alive with fury, and the blond guy makes a mistake.
He tries to get between them.
"Get your hands off her!"
Something snaps in Peter and he hurls the guy back, throws him hard against the wall and holds him there with someone else's power. There's a roaring in his head that drowns out Claire's panicked protests, and he smiles, grimly, because God this feels good. Blond Guy kicks, bug-eyed with terror, and tries to scream.
It hardly takes any pressure to choke it off.
