Jesse stood in the apartment doorway, his mind still in a semi-haze of stunned belief. His heart's desire, one Miss Rachel Barbra Berry was excitedly examining his trendy New York apartment and tossing out suggestions as she moved around it at warp speed.
Gradually, he became aware of the weight of the box in his arms and crossed the threshold to place the box on a nearby chair. This was only the first box of five more (Rachel was after all only moving in temporarily), so the bulk of her items were still in storage. But if things went according to his long term plans the remainder of those items would be joining these and it would no longer be his apartment but truly theirs. However, he wouldn't get his hopes up just yet; she'd broken his heart too many times before and this time he'd court her properly. She deserved epic romance, after all.
