Ultrabross's Vision
CHP37: Unfamiliar Territory
The surrounding was much different, and it was the purple sky that first jumped out at him. Regardless of where she led them Ichigo's only interest was separating his body from her hands. Somehow through the portal the succubus had gained ground on him with nearly twenty yards between them. Ichigo only partially looked over his shoulder spotting Kurumu gliding through the air with Moka in her grasp. It was probably best they passed through alongside him. There was no telling what might have happened had they remained in Gotham. His attention again fell upon Morrigan who was just ahead, picking up speed.
"Did you not hear me I told you to release him and I won't ask again!" Ichigo's grip tightened as he blitzed forward coming within only a few feet of her. His number one priority was to be especially careful not to accidently harm his own body.
Out of nowhere and unexpected to Ichigo, Morrigan spun around sharply throwing Ichi/Kon over his head, "Him or me, you decide!" Morrigan laughed continuing on.
Ichigo thought about it for only a split second diving downward and grabbing hold of Ichi/Kon. It was at that time Morrigan took instantly disappeared, Kurumu nor Moka sure of how she did it. She hadn't shown such speed any time previous and Moka suspected she might have been assisted or used some type of device to get away so fast. Ichigo looked all around but saw no sign of the succubus and couldn't sense her either. He slowly lowered him and Ichi/Kon onto the ground below, again looking to the sky. They were quickly joined by Moka and Kurumu out of the air, "So where are we now?" Kurumu questioned with crossed arms.
"What makes you think I have the answer to that, this place is new to me as well." Ichigo took his eyes off the sky.
"Well forgive me if I was under the impression you and all these things attacking us were somehow linked. As I knew from the get go, following you from the Youkai realm was a bad idea even though there are those who disagreed at the time." Kurumu looked to Moka.
"That was Omote's decision and hers alone. If it had been up to me we wouldn't be in this predicament right now, but standing here and complaining about it won't help a thing. Ichigo do you know whether or not the woman that took Tsukune is working with Morrigan. I heard her shout something before she disappeared that implied they are associated."
Ichigo punched at the stomach of his own body forcing the mod soul pill out of it, re inserting into his body immediately. He stretched out a little bit before facing Kurumu and Moka.
"Yes they're indeed working together but I'm certain neither is the one behind all that's been happening. I don't know how to explain but I am more than sure there is someone of higher authority they're working under. If you want answers you'll have to look elsewhere because I don't have them. I first set eyes on Morrigan at Youkai academy like everyone else and fought against the other a couple hours ago. That was also the first time I'd crossed paths with her."
"How do we know what you're saying is true. Also why did you leave the Youkai realm in the first place, was is because we attacked you or is there another reason?" Kurumu asked.
"That has no relevance, if anything we should first probably figure out where we are and then go about things from there."
Ichigo dropped the mod soul pill into his pocket and didn't notice Kurumu come up on him until the last instant. She grabbed at his shirt pulling him in close, "We will first get Tsukune and Gin-senpai back and then you will return us to the Youkai realm. Can't say that I fully trust the words that have come out of your mouth, and to be honest I believe you're hiding stuff from us. If we're to travel as a group and do it successfully there shouldn't be secrets amongst us, wouldn't you agree?"
Taking a step back Ichigo forced Kurumu's hand off his shirt re adjusting his collar.
"My private life doesn't concern any of you and nor does yours. I wouldn't worry about Tsukune though I get the feeling they have no intention of harming him; let's just hope I'm right. In the meantime we should get going; maybe we'll find someone that can tell us where we are if we're lucky."
He was obviously keeping a lot from them, information that possibly was putting them at danger. Kurumu didn't know for certain so kept quiet, her and Moka both following behind Ichigo.
"We aren't really gonna walk around in the middle of nowhere directionless are we?! If your idea is to go about handling things in such a way we could be walking around for hours and I think it best we rest up some before continuing on. If we were to locate their stronghold and try and take Tsukune back as is, wouldn't be a good idea. Regaining our strength should be number one priority." Moka insisted.
"Says the woman who is practically obsessed with him, I figured you would travel nonstop until your body shutdown. Look around us, there is nowhere to set up camp. Perhaps if we travel a couple miles or so we will come across a town, it's worth a shot. If you two want to stay out here in the middle of the wilderness be my guest." Ichigo walked off, both hands in his pockets.
Moka and Kurumu had no other choice but to follow. As is they were already separated enough and felt Ichigo was their best chance to finding Gin and Tsukune. Just as he took another couple steps, Ichigo dropped down to one knee placing a hand over his head. His head pounded like crazy followed be a peculiar shock circulating throughout his body. Moka and Kurumu immediately went to his side, the vampire taking a knee beside him with a hand over his shoulder.
"Ichigo what's happening are you ok?" Moka asked with worry in her eyes.
He did what he could to try and shake off the pain, "Damn it, what the hell's happening!" He thought silently. It was a similar feeling to what his body experienced at the conclusion of eliminating one of the newly created hollows; except the affects felt X3. Ichigo bit back and before long it all went away.
"I'm fine, just a little under the weather is all." He stood running a hand through his hair.
"No you are not alright! You've been way too active and need to rest bef…"
"Resting will get us no closer to your boyfriend and I already told you I'm fine. Chilling in the middle of nowhere isn't a good idea, especially out in the open like we are. There has to be shelter of some sort within a couple miles." Ichigo interrupted Moka.
Kurumu cringed at Ichigo's words referring to Tsukune as Moka's boyfriend. She almost wanted to pin him to the ground and chock him out! Ichigo again started walking with both ladies following.

Down a dark hall she walked bypassing torches hung over the walls. Aside from battling a powerful opponent nothing pleased her more than a completed task. Fighting against him was more fun than a lot of warriors she encountered back in her home world and was convinced he had yet to release his full power. That would surely be something to see and enthused at the thought of taking him on again in the near future. He was merely a substitute but displayed strength on par with a captain level shinigami.
It was very intriguing and wondered if there was more to him than others of his type. She passed down one of the main halls into the section where most captured prisoners were held, and couldn't help but notice Ultrabross's main assistant positioned in front of a door.
"What are you doing hanging around these parts, I figured Ultrabross would have you helping with something more important than standing guard over a prisoner?" Morrigan asked.
"This isn't just any prisoner, it's the boy associated with master's woman of interest."
"Tsukune Aono. Mind if I go in?" Morrigan asked.
"Sure go right ahead."
She stepped aside allowing Morrigan to enter. Tsukune was propped up against a wall sitting at the bed's edge. The door opening and closing caught his attention, gulping at the sight of Morrigan. She walked across the cement surface situating in the mid section of the room, "It isn't exactly the most comfortable of places but could be worse. You'll get used to it after awhile."
"I refuse to grow accustomed to this place and believe me when I say I will be out of here soon. I don't know what you and your people have planned but leave Moka-san and my friends out of it! Do whatever you want to me but leave them out of this!"
Morrigan laughed aloud throwing her hair back.
"I personally have nothing against you or your friends, I'm in it for the fun and thrill. To be honest even I don't know the full extent of what Ultrabross has planned and could care less. He's promised me something in return for my services; that included with the joy that comes with this line of work were more than enough to persuade me."
"So you agreed to work for him without knowing what he might really have planned?! How do you know he doesn't double cross you and can you at least tell me why he brought me here? What does he want with Moka-san and I?"
"It has more to do with the vampire than yourself, but I'm not at liberty to discuss any of that with you and will not. Your only real purpose is to serve as bait to lure the vampire here and after that happens well…"
"Well what?!" Tsukune shouted.
Morrigan again laughed further advancing toward him until she was only inches from him, "You're kind of cute when demanding." She chuckled running a hand over the side of his face. A menacing grin shaped on her lips running her hand over his chest down near his crotch, "Just say it and I'll give it. Your Moka or anyone else doesn't have to know and any man who's experienced it with me didn't regret it." She whispered into and biting at his earlobe.
"You're sick!"
Tsukune pulled back forcing her hand away, "If you won't tell me anything than I'd like for you to leave. There are other powerful individuals from the youkai realm and when they find out about all of this they will no doubt come after you and Ultrabross, whatever you had planned will not succeed."
"Your loss Aono you wouldn't be able to handle me anyway and such wishful thinking; you haven't a clue of Ultrabross's true power. It isn't something you could even begin to comprehend and explaining it to you would amount to nothing. I've wasted too much time in here as it is, I must report back to him. By the way your vampire lover is a lot closer than you think and when the time is right you two will be reunited…even if it's just for a couple moments." Morrigan said heading toward the door.
Tsukune popped up off the bed, "Wait what do you mean by she's close?"
Morrigan exited the room without giving an answer. For a couple moments Tsukune stood in place before turning and punching at the nearest wall. It wasn't long before the succubus arrived in front of Ultrabross's quarter, the door left open.
"I did everything as you instructed, Moka and Ichigo should be no more than sixty to seventy miles from here. I doubt they find this place with all the barriers and what not but is still a good idea to keep your units on high alert."
"That's good to hear, I knew I could count on you. I'm sure you're aware Aono is here by now as well, the werewolf and Batman were killed shortly after arriving. With that I will probably never find out how he was able to destroy the hollows. It really wasn't all that important, more curious than anything."
"That's a heart breaker; the bat was amusing and interesting. How did it happen?" Morrigan asked.
"Feyaglia didn't go into detail you'd have to speak with her if you want to know more. If it isn't too much to ask I'd rather you stay here in the fortress, if you choose to leave for some reason, make certain you don't go far. I might need you for something and don't plan on tracking you far distances. Until I give the order you or anyone else in this establishment is not to approach Kurosaki Ichigo for any reason at all got it?"
"Gee that really sounds like fun, how else am I to exercise my boredom you and your rules are lame." Morrigan pouted.
"I'm sure you will find some other way to entertain yourself in the meantime. If you have nothing on your plate go and see the maintenance general…should be on dock eight if I'm not mistaken. He will have something for you to do I'm sure."
Morrigan looked away from Ultabross rolling her eyes, "Sure whatever you say, I'll be around if you need me."
She exited out of his quarters taking a left, and with no idea where Feyaglia might be Morrigan headed for the building's nearest exit. She needed time to think and to get some fresh air; more so than that she couldn't stand the idea of sitting around and doing nothing. She looked around several times making sure no one had their eyes on her before exiting the palace and taking to the sky.

The headmaster followed by his people, Ruby and Akua entered his office. With the time it was most within the barrier of the realm were asleep and was still another couple hours before sunrise. The entire group followed the headmaster into his office, "All of you wait here, this might take a minute." He said entering a back room.
They waited patiently for his return and five minutes soon turned to ten. No one wanted to assure Moka's safety more than Akua, in ways it was the only thing she had left. Moka was one of the only few people she really cared about and losing her would be beyond unbearable. The headmaster soon returned with a small item in his left hand, "This here has the power to track the Rosario around Moka's neck."
"Then what are we waiting for start tracking!" Akua snapped.
"I must first repair it to operational form which should take no more than a couple hours. This item was created to track various magical objects, not just the Rosario. Not only that but I must first assemble a search and rescue team, as headmaster of the academy I must remain here and look over it."
"Yeah and you've done such a great job of that. So great in fact nee-chan and other students of your academy are missing." Akua clapped with apparent sarcasm in her tone.
"Akua-chan you shouldn't say things like that." Ruby said.
Ruby froze as Akua gave her somewhat a death glare, "Forget putting together a search squad I will bring her back myself. Repair that device and give it to me, sending anyone else would only get in my way and I won't have anyone slowing me down from rescuing nee-chan!"
"Unfortunately that isn't how things work around here. Moka and the other missing students were under my protection the moment they registered here at the academy. It was and is my job to ensure everyone's safety and that means putting together the perfect team for such a job. Since you feel it necessary you shall journey alongside them."
"Fine if that's the way you want to go about it than so be it! Select your members and do it fast, there's no telling what sort of danger Moka could be faced with. She is somewhere far away alien to her and all alone." Akua spoke.
"She isn't alone, Gin, Tsukune and Kurumu-chan are all with her. By now I'm sure they've met up with Ichigo and are doing fine. They should be in no danger unless…" Ruby paused fiddling with her fingers.
"Unless what, tell me?!" Akua demanded.
Ruby didn't know if telling Akua would be a good idea; after all there was nothing that could confirm it true or false either way, "Ichigo is the reason they aren't with us at this time and to make a long story short a succubus by the name of Morrigan turned us against him using a powerful illusion. It is possible she followed him back to his world and will make another attempt on his life. We don't know this for sure though."
"All the more reason we need to work fast and get to them before something happens." Akua said.
"It is still a couple hours before daybreak and by then I shall have the device fixed and a team ready for departure by then. In the meantime it you should all rest up."
