Ultrabross's Vision
CHP41: Course to Follow
Sunlight in an orange redish tone peaked through the partially opened window awakening her. She stretched stepping out of bed, a cluster of bats appearing out of nowhere surrounding her naked bodying dressing the succubus into her usual attire. She returned to the fortress so late the night before electing not to speak with Ultrabross at that time. For a minute or so she stood in front of a mirror re adjusting her hair and was out in the hall shortly after. She passed by the holding cell block in route to his quarter. As expected he was there like normal but in the company of Feyaglia.
"Morrigan…we were just talking about you," Feyaglia looked her way, "You didn't stir up anything while you were off the premises last night did you? The general public is already at odds with one another, no need to add fuel to a flame burning so bright on its own."
"Let her speak Feyaglia." Ultrabross crossed his arms.
By the look on Morrigan's face he assumed she had something important in mind, "Last night on my little flight I came across something very interesting. The two she confirmed dead are still alive and kicking."
"Batman and the wolf boy!?" Feyaglia clinched her fists together.
"Where are they now, did you not bring them back here to the fortress?" Ultrabross questioned, but got his answer by her expression, "Or did you kill them?"
"Oh don't look so grim I didn't do such a thing, where would the fun in that be. It makes things so much more exciting this way, I doubt they ever find this place with all the barriers and splendid camouflage you have over this fortress of yours. Is all this really necessary, I mean with someone powerful as yourself what's the point of hiding?" Morrigan asked.
Ultrabross paused for a moment running a hand over his masked chin, "Let me get this straight, you came into contact with the werewolf and Batman; didn't bring them back as prisoners and are alive?"
"That pretty much sums things up," Morrigan smirked letting out a chuckle, "Hhhmm don't tell me you're upset, what exactly did you think I'd do? Listen sweetheart you and I both know I joined this dump of yours for reasons of my own, if for one second you believed I'd do things your way twenty four seven you were sadly mistaken."
"It's Lord Ultrabross you ingrate, don't ever address him otherwise!" Feyaglia marched toward the succubus.
He grabbed at her arm before she could take another step.
"It's ok Fey, she does make a point. That said where is it you set eyes on them? I still have some questions for the one dressed as a bat and the other we could keep around for additional insurance just to make certain things move smoothly when the time comes."
"Time comes, you've been talking about that since I hopped aboard yet still have no idea what you have planned. How do expect trust from myself and all your subordinates with so much untold? I virtually know nothing about your end game, how about we drop the secrets?"
He moved from his position situating his back against a nearby wall. Feyaglia looked back and forth between them, neither of the two speaking.
"In due time, there's no point in explaining it to you when eventually you'll see it with your own two eyes. It will be a glorious day indeed, one worth the wait and one for the ages. There will be no more talk of this until the time comes. Your trust or lack of is irrelevant as of the moment. Anyhow seeing as the Batman is still alive the opportunity for answers to some questions is still on the table."
"Would you like me to go after them?" Feyaglia asked.
"No I've got someone else in mind you need not worry," Ultrabross looked in Morrigan's direction, "Can you recall the landmark and territory you spotted the two?"
"Good question, it was really dark out…can't say that I do." Morrigan replied with a grin.
Ultrabross shook his head moving from the wall, "So you really intend on making things tougher on me, how do I know if what you've told me is true?"
"No way of really knowing, but I have no reason or anything to gain by doing so. Well I'm out of here and won't be far if you need me for anything. Just thought you'd like to know they were still around." Morrigan bypassed them both exiting out the already open door.
"I'm sorry sir I did truly believe them dead." Feyaglia spoke softly, her head dropping down.
"No need to apologize, this realization is an extra plus. But enough about that please do follow me."
Together they exited out of the room in route to one of the main facilities. He summoned his more prominent members and generals leading them. It took several minutes before everyone showed, Ultrabross taking a seat in a throne located up against a wall. He waited patiently for everyone to take their positions before he went on, "My apologies for summoning you all here at a time like now. Our time for domination is in sight, I think now however is a great time to give you the heads up the battle we've so long prepared for is in reach."
"Do you refer to the Gotei Thirteen your majesty?" Someone from the group asked.
"Yes of course, as of the moment taking them head on isn't an option. There is a great chance we'd fall, but that will soon change," The fierce individual paced back and forth, "We'll no longer need to hide in the shadows, my power and strength will be known throughout the universe. The extermination of the Gotei thirteen will be the start of a new era! There are things that must happen before then however."
"Not questioning your collected info but what you're saying sounds more like wishful thinking. I don't regret joining this revolution of yours but to think we can somehow bring down the entire Gote…"
"Silence! The power I speak of is beyond anything you or anyone has witnessed and can even be considered godlike. Explaining it to you is fruitless, especially when you will soon witness it firsthand."
Everyone stayed quiet as Ultrabross rose from the throne and began pacing, "So basically you plan to obtain the power of a god?" One of the general's within the room asked. In all there were twenty present; a small margin of the entire organization, "In ways yes, and if all turns out the way planned will be very soon."
"And you plan to obtain this power how?" another asked.
"That is already in play believe it or not; as I said before you will know everything soon enough. On another note another round of hollows will be sent to the human world. Many of you likely wonder what the hollows have to do with anything and my answer to that is everything. In fact all of my plans revolve around them. "
The reveal certainly caught the attention of everyone present in the large space. The meet prolonged for another thirty minutes before everyone was given permission to return to their posts, "I will dispatch three divisions in total. I expect things from this point to go smoothly without trouble. Ulquiorra there is something I'd like you to do for me. It'll be easy." Ultrabross called out to Arrancar as he made his way toward the exit.
"As you wish." He turned facing the organization's leader.

After hours of hard work the headmaster completed the revival of the item designed to track magic items. The assembled members taking on the task stood inside the headmaster's office. In ways he regretted sending more students from the academy to recover those that had been lost. Much as he hated the decision it made the most sense and the selected ones had proven themselves in battle before. What ultimately made his decision was the relationships shared with those away from the academy, with that connection he was certain they wouldn't fail.
"Good to see everyone is here, and I first want to say I'm sorry for what happened. As headmaster it is unacceptable for something such as this to occur. I'm also very sorry to ask you all to go through this. I know you're the right ones for this task and will not fail. Your connection to them is why I know you will succeed."
Inside the headmaster's office stood Haiji, Ruby, Akua, Mizore and Yukari. He rose from his chair moving around the desk situating in front of the five, "I can't guarantee you will disembark on the Rosario's exact location but should be somewhere near. If that's the case then you'll just have to work together and locate it. I highly advise against splitting up, there's no telling where you might end up and will only complicate things if you lose each other. Have a safe trip and I wish you all luck."
He handed the somewhat small item to Ruby; the group as a whole making sure they made physical contact with each other. Those not connected would be unable to make the trip.
"The tool is set to return to this precise location if the button were to be pressed again. With that in mind try to avoid touching it as much you can until it's time to return."
Ruby bowed pressing at the green button, as a strange energy surrounded the group of five. The next instant they were gone, the headmaster sighing, hoping things would work out. One of the side doors to his office opened, a single individual entering with both hands in his pockets.
"How much confidence do you have that they will return? This isn't one of those where you will second guess your decision is it?"
"They will get it done, my only regret if anything would be me not traveling alongside them. But with the academy under my supervision now is not the time to be making another trip. Don't worry if something goes wrong I've worked up a backup plan, but I am confident it won't come to that."
Elsewhere the group of five re appeared, and by the look of things the transfer was a success. However Moka was nowhere in sight, which confirmed the 2nd part the headmaster explained might happen. The atmosphere was similar to that of the Youkai realm but the air a bit more damp.
"Ok, so I'm assuming this must be Ichigo's home world," Haiji scratched at the side of his head, "This sure is some place, so which direction should we go? Do you know how to effectively operate that thing or are we screwed?"
"No worries I should be able to lead us in the right direction," Ruby activated the tracking function completely, a light at its end shining different shades of blue. She positioned it in various different directions until it shined a shade brighter than any other, "She's definitely somewhere that way."
"Excellent, we find Kurumu-chan, Tsukune, Gin-senpai and Moka-chan and then we can be on our way out of here," Mizore sucked on her lollipop.
Akua pushed passed everyone marching toward Ruby, "Hand it over, from this point on I will be the one in control of the search so hand that thing over to me." Akua put out a hand.
"It doesn't matter which of us holds it, after all we're after the same things. I can't speak for the others but I don't fully trust you and maybe you aren't very fond of us either but the headmaster made it clear we were all to travel together. I intend to do that and I'm sure the rest of everyone would agree. If you want to go off on your own than go ahead and do so, nobody's stopping you." Ruby replied.
Akua grimaced and though she didn't like much about the situation it didn't appear they'd agree to do things her way. She watched as Ruby and the others began walking and with really no other choice followed.
It took quite a bit of convincing but eventually Kuaiz got the three to agree to stay under his roof for a little while longer and played right into the hands of what Ultrabross wanted.
