"All clear?" Seto asked after some time passed and he didn't hear anything.
"I think it's all clear." Noah's voice answered from his earring, "I don't see anyone left in the mansion or at the outside – aside from Hobson, but I'm not too sure about the area that I can't see through the CCTV. Are you going in?".
"No, they might put some people to spy the mansion, so I better find somewhere else to work." Seto answered as he carefully climbed onto the rocky cliff, "Still, I need to retrieve my Deck first".
"I'm afraid you can't." Noah answered right away, "One of Pegasus's men had taken your Deck, so you won't find it anywhere inside".
"Damn." Seto cursed before sighing, "Do you know the perfect place for me to work?".
Noah stayed silent for a moment, but Seto knew that it wasn't because the connection was cut off, but because Noah was busy searching for the perfect location. "Found it." Noah said smugly, "There's an abandoned house in the outskirt of Domino, but everything inside is still working, all you need to do is head over there unnoticed and you can continue your work".
So, Seto headed out to the said abandoned house following the direction Noah gave him. He bought a cheap phone along the way before arriving at the mansion, then he tried to call for Hobson. Unfortunately, Hobson was probably still knocked out for he wasn't answering, so Seto decided to just work on his project, since he had to finish the item soon for his duel with Pegasus. The sooner he solved his problem with Pegasus, the sooner he could rescue Mokuba.
Actually, he wanted to call Yugi for help, but his previous phone was broke when he jumped into the sea and he didn't remember Yugi's phone number. The only way to contact Yugi was for him to called Hobson and told his butler to call Yugi and asked the Vampire to get Mokuba out from Pegasus's clutch. Since Hobson was still out of it, he had to wait before he could get Yugi to help him.
Seto finished his Duel Disk and put it in his briefcase, he then looked at his watch and noticed that it's an hour after he last tried to call Hobson. He decided to try calling again, since enough time had passed and Hobson should be awake by then. He pulled out his new cheap phone – since it's for short time use only – and then called his Vacation House's phone number. The phone ringing for about 5 times before – to his immense relief – it was answered by Hobson.
-Yes?- Hobson's voice rang from the other end.
"Ah, finally awake, Hobson." Seto said with a smirk even though the old man couldn't see it.
-Master Seto! Where are you? Pegasus took Master Mokuba to the Illusion Island!-
"Hobson, calm down. I know what has happened, I saw it before I escaped from the mansion." Seto ordered calmly, "Now, we don't have time, I want you to get a Helicopter for me at Domino High's roof, I will go from there. And you have Yugi's phone number, right?".
-Yes, I have.-
"Good." Seto sighed in relief, "Now, after you ordered the Helicopter for me, call Yugi and tell him about what has happened. Ask him to help us getting Mokuba out of Pegasus's clutch, wherever that pervert might keep my Brother be." He instructed, "Be careful when you call Yugi though, I don't want to risk our only chance just because someone heard our plan".
-I understand, Master Seto.- Hobson answered with serious voice.
"Good, now call the Helicopter, I will head out to Domino High now." Seto said and cut off the call, he then drop the cheap phone to the floor and crushed it with his foot, since he couldn't risk being tracked.
Seto inhaled deeply to calm his nerves before taking his briefcase and head out for Domino High.

Yugi and the rest arrived at the Duel Ring where Jou and Ryuuzaki would have their duel, the two Duelists then got into their position on the Duel Ring. "Duel!" Jou and Ryuuzaki exclaimed together to start their duel.
"My turn first." Jou said as he drew a card, he looked at his Cards and grinned. I'm lucky today. He thought excitedly and pulled out a card, "I play Baby Dragon in Defense Mode!" He announced.
"Hey, his expression just now . . ." Mai whispered to Yugi with sweat drop on her head, "He really is a naive one, huh?".
Yugi sighed and nodded in answer of her comment. "That's why I decided not to give any advice from now on, unless it's outside a duel." He answered, "He's still an amateur and has many things to learn".
Mai chuckled, "Better this way though." She commented as she looked at the duel, "I saw a talent during our duel, he will become a great Duelist soon enough".
"Agreed." Yugi said with a smile.
Ryuuzaki blinked at Baby Dragon before choosing a Card, "I don't know what you are planning to do, but here I go, Two-headed King Rex!" he exclaimed as he placed the Card on the field, "Attack mode!".
Jou gulped and start sweating when King Rex killed Baby Dragon in one hit, "Good thing I placed it Defense Mode." He mumbled as he moved Baby Dragon Card into Graveyard pile.
"What are you doing, Jou! That's not good at all!" Honda yelled at him.
"Your turn, Jou." Ryuuzaki said with a smirk, "Play whatever Monster you have, you won't beat my King Rex!".
Jou growled, "I play this Card then!" he exclaimed as he placed the Card, "Leogun! Attack king Rex!".
"He forgot about the Field again." Mai commented with sweat drop, she looked at Yugi, "Is this really going to be alright?".
"Don't worry." Yugi said calmly, "He will find a way in the end".
"You are an idiot!" Ryuuzaki said as he laughed, "My King Rex's power increased by Wasteland Field Effect!".
"Shit! I forgot!" Jou gasped as he saw that King Rex's ATK become 2080.
"Dinosaur Foot Stomp!" Ryuuzaki ordered, King Rex stomped it's foot at the lion-like Monster, Jou's LP lowered to 1670 point. "Well? My turn is done! Hurry up and play your next Card!".
"Hey, I heard from your fight with Haga, you dislike arrogant people?" Mai asked Yugi, who nodded in response, "What is exactly considered as arrogant? Like, what they do to be called arrogant?".
"Underestimating people just because they are not as good as you, acting so high and mighty, treating people like trashes just because you have more power and so on." Yugi answered right away.
"Is Ryuuzaki categorized as one?" Mai asked again.
"No, he is just an over confident brat." Yugi deadpanned, "Haga on the other hand, just because he won the first place in National Tournament, he acts like people are beneath him".
Mai hummed before looking at Jou and waiting for his move with crossed arms.
"Alright, this one!" Jou exclaimed as he pulled a Card and placed it on the Field, "Axe Raider! It powers up with the Field Power Source!".
"Alright!" Honda cheered when Axe Raider's ATK become 2210.
"Go! Jou!" Anzu cheered happily.
"Air Slice!" Jou commanded.
Ryuuzaki tsked when his King Rex destroyed, leaving him with 1870 LP left. "Then I will use this card!" he yelled as he placed a Card on the Field, "Sword Dragon! Dragon Tail Sword!".
"On no, Jou!" Anzu gasped in worry when Jou's LP dropped to 1605 point.
"Don't lose, Jou!" Honda yelled with his fist raised, "You can't lose here!".
Jou looked at them and nodded, but he was nearly panicking himself.
[Jou, calm down. Even if you are losing to me right now, you had to stay calm to think of a way to win. If Duelist panicking, they would easily make mistakes.]
Right, that was what Yugi said to me, when I was panicking in our duel during my training session. Jou thought as he inhaled deeply to calm himself, he couldn't panic or he would lose.
Jou looked at his Cards and noticed Time Wizard, he didn't know what the Card could do aside from turning Baby Dragon to Thousand Dragon, so he decided to place it in Magic/Trap Field for the time being. "I play a Monster in Defense Mode!".
"Whatever Card it is, I will destroy it." Ryuuzaki said with a smirk as he drew a Card from his deck, he looked at the Cards in his hand and pulled one, "Megazowler!" he announced as he placed the Card on the Field and the Monster appeared on the arena, it's attack point increased to 2340 due to Field Effect. "Megazowler, Charge Attack!".
Jou gritted his teeth as he saw his Defense Monster destroyed, he thought quick and chose a Card, "Then I will play this Card, Flame Swordsman!" he declared as he placed the Card on the Field, it's ATK increased to 2340 by Field Effect.
"Finally playing a Strong Card, huh?" Ryuuzaki asked with a smirk, "But it's attack is equal with Megazowler".
"Moron." Mai whispered.
"Who is the moron? And why?" Anzu asked in worry.
"Ryuuzaki is the moron." Mai whispered with a wink.
"Flame Swordsman has advantage against Dinosaur Type." Yugi explained with a grin, "Nice choice, Jou!".
"Megazowler! Charge Attack!" Ryuuzaki ordered excitedly.
"Spirit Flame Blade!" Jou countered.
The two Monsters clashed before Flame Swordsman destroyed Megazowler, leaving Ryuuzaki with 1380 LP left. "What?!" Ryuuzaki gasped, "What happened with my Megazowler?!".
"Flame Swordsman's fire effect has the ability to destroy Dinosaurs." Mai explained to him.
Ryuuzaki growled softly to himself, "I change my Sword Dragon to Defense Position." He said.
"Go! Flame Swordsman!" Jou ordered in excitement.
Ryuuzaki placed another Defense Card, which then destroyed by Jou's Flame Swordsman, then Jou played another Monster Card, Barbarian #2, with Field Effect, it's attack point increased to 2340 as well.
"I still have strong Monster Card in my deck." Ryuuzaki growled as he draw, then he smirked and placed the Card on the Field right away, "Arise, Evilnight Dragon!".
"This is bad!" Jou gasped when he saw that it's attack point is 2350.
"You don't think I have another Monster aside from Dinosaur Type, do you?" Ryuuzaki asked confidently, "Go! Nightmare Shadow Sonic!".
The black Dragon attacked Flame Swordsman, Jou's LP lowered to 1595. Jou was sweating, he didn't know how to defeat the Dragon.
"Jou! Don't worry! You will win!" Anzu cheered to encourage him.
"Don't give up!" Honda added, "Think about your Sister!".
Jou looked at them, "Yeah." He agreed with a nod, he then draw a Card and grin, "This is . . . the strength of Friendship, huh?" he asked himself as he looked at Honda, "Always coming to my rescue in a bad situation, Honda." He said before placing the Card on the Field, "Barbarian #1!".
"Heh, you got it huh?" Honda asked with a grin, "The Card that I gave you earlier today".
"Yeah!" Jou answered cheerfully, "Just like you who come to help me when I'm in trouble, Barbarian #1 came out to help Barbarian #2!".
"Something happened in the past?" Anzu asked curiously, since she wasn't close with them in the past.
Yugi smiled, "Jou like to fight so much, and when he was in Junior High, he got a fight with a gang from another school. I and Honda heard that he was going after them by himself, so we go as well to help him." He answered, "Well, teenagers".
"You get yourself caught up in gangs fight?" Anzu asked in disbelief, Yugi only chuckled in answer.
"No matter!" Ryuuzaki exclaimed, "Take this! Nightmare Shadow Sonic! Attack Barbarian #2!".
The Dragon attacked Barbarian #2, but just before the attack get to Barbarian #2, a shadow step in front of Barbarian #2 and reflected the attack, destroying Evilnight Dragon in the process and leaving Ryuuzaki with 840 LP left.
"What happened?!" Ryuuzaki, Mai and Anzu gasped in shock.
Yugi and Honda smirked as they knew what had happened, and they were proved right when they saw Barbarian #1 stood a bit in front of Barbarian #2 with its club raised as a shield for Barbarian #2. "When both Barbarian #1 and #2 are in the Field, they have the power to help each other out." Honda explained, "I know about this, that's why I gave Jou that Card just before we exited the Ship today".
"Not only that." Yugi added, "Each Barbarian increases the other's power".
Ryuuzaki growled, "I will play a Monster in Defense Mode." He said as he placed the Card.
"Go! Barbarian #1!" Jou exclaimed excitedly.
"Alright!" Anzu clapped her hands when Jou's Monster destroyed Ryuuzaki's Defense Monster.
"Show that Dinosaur-freak our Friendship's Power, Jou!" Honda exclaimed in high spirit.
"Friendship's Power?" Ryuuzaki asked with a mocking tone, "Something like that is not exists in a world of Duelist".
"Hey." Mai called to him, "Don't underestimate their Friendship, I lost to Jou because I underestimated this Friendship".
"It doesn't matter, something like Friendship can't help someone to win." Ryuuzaki shrugged, "And beside, I still have my most powerful Card in here." He said as he drew, he saw what Card it was and smirked, "Alright! My most powerful Card!" He yelled excitedly as he placed the Card on the Field, "Show yourself! Red Eyes Black Dragon!".
"Red Eyes Black Dragon?!" Yugi exclaimed in shock before looking at Jou to see his reaction, wondering if seeing Red Eyes again would trigger a memory in Jou.
Red Eyes roared as the Black Dragon appeared on the arena, it had 2400 ATK and 2000 for DEF, a strong Monster Card indeed.
"Is there's something wrong with Red Eyes?" Yami asked curiously, as he had been watching the duel silently as a Spirit from Yugi's side all this time.
'Red Eyes was Jono-niichan's Ka.' Yugi answered as he saw Jou's expression turned into that of disbelief, 'To think that they would meet again . . .'.
"Jono's what?" Yami asked in confusion, "I'm sorry, Aibou, but I didn't catch it".
Yugi blinked before remembering that he couldn't tell Yami anything about Ancient Egypt, like what a Ka was and who Yami actually was. If he tried, the words would immediately get stuck in his throat, and if he tried it through their mental link, Yami couldn't catch what he was trying to say. 'Jono-niichan's soul monster, I was just surprised that they would meet again now.' He replied with the only thing close to what a Ka was, 'But if I think more about it, I shouldn't have, since Jou is Jono-niichan's reincarnation'.
"No way, Red Eyes is almost as rare as Blue Eyes." Mai commented with blinking eyes, "How come Ryuuzaki has that kind of Card?".
"I won it in a tournament of course." Ryuuzaki answered confidently, "And to make it even stronger, Magic Card, Dark Dragon Claws!".
Jou stared in disbelief when Red Eyes Black Dragon's attack become 3000, but what caused him to unable to look away from Red Eyes's eyes was the fact that he saw emotion in them. A pure, raw sadness and loneliness that enough to make his skin crawl in response.
"Go! Red Eyes! Dark Mega Flare!" Ryuuzaki commanded seriously with full confidence.
Red Eyes roared before it shot a big ball of fire – with a few black lightning bolts appeared every now and then around the ball. Jou cringed, but not because his Barbarian #1 and #2 get destroyed by the attack and left him with 235 LP left. No, it's because the roar Red Eyes made earlier was full of sadness and pain, like the Dragon was crying when it attacked Jou's Monster.
Yugi also cringed when he heard Red Eyes's painful roar, the black dragon must be in pain to attack his own soul partner.
"Well, Jounouchi! It's your turn." Ryuuzaki said with a smirk, "Your Friendship can't help you anymore now".
"Jou! Don't give up!" Honda yelled with sweat rolling down his forehead.
Anzu looked at Yugi, "Yugi, if this going on, he will lose." She said in worry, "Is there a chance he could win?".
"There is." Yugi said simply.
"But only if he could figure it out, right?" Mai guessed with a smirk, which answered with a smirk as well by Yugi.
Jou blinked when he heard a soft growl, but it sounded more like a cry to him. He looked around to see who might be crying, but his friends were only looking at him with encouraging expression. He looked at the Black Dragon in front of him again, this time, he could see longing in its eyes. The growl rang again, longer this time.
His eyes widened when he understood what happened, Red Eyes Black Dragon called out to him, it was crying because it had to attack Jou. Don't tell me, Red Eyes is my Soul Card? He asked himself as he gazed at the shiny Black Dragon in front of him – and as he stared at the deep red eyes of the Dragon, something played out in front of his eyes, taking all his attention and so making him looked like he was in a trance-like state.
"What did you say?!" A man shouted in anger, "I will kill you, brat! Attack him, Silver Fang!" he commanded.
"Watch out!" A blond haired guy yelled as he pushed the younger guy who was behind him to somewhere else, at the same time, he also reached into his cloak and pulled out a sword and swung it to the wolf, forcing the wolf to retreat.
(Jou was shocked when he saw the blond haired guy. The guy looked just like him!)
The man from before growled, "You think you can defeat my Ka with that sword?" He asked in challenge.
"Ka is better being fought with Ka." The blond haired guy said calmly, "But because I was attacked suddenly, I didn't have time to call out my Ka, that's why I use my sword to attack your wolf." He explained calmly before jumping backwards and put back his sword under his cloak, "Now, I will let you see my beautiful Ka." He smirked before the wind blowing harshly in respond to his Shadow Magic, "Come forth, Kuroki Ryuu (Black Dragon), Rue!" He yelled and a massive Ka appeared behind him. The Ka was a big Black Dragon with a pair of red eyes, the color was black but not a dull black, it's a shiny black.
(Jou's eyes widened, the Kuroki Ryuu was actually Red Eyes Black Dragon!)
The man with the Wolf Ka gasped in horror at the massive Ka, he was so scared that his whole body was shaking. "You- you have a Ka?" he asked in disbelief.
"Are you kidding?" The blond haired guy asked in annoyance, "You just heard me calling him out, whose else he is if not mine?" he huffed in annoyance before looking at the wolf, "Rue, attack that wolf." He ordered calmly.
" . . . chi . . . Jounouchi!" Jou snapped out of his daze and looked at Ryuuzaki, "What are you doing daydreaming like that?! Are you so afraid of my Red Eyes that you unable to move?!".
Jou blinked and rubbed his eyes, "No, it's nothing." He said and looked at Ryuuzaki, "Whose turn is now?" he asked.
"It's yours." Ryuuzaki said with a shake of his head before smirking at Jou, "But before you make your move, I have a proposal to you".
"What?" Jou asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You know ante-rule, right?" Ryuuzaki asked with a confident smirk, "In this duel, how about the winner takes a Rare Card from the loser? If you win, you can take my Red Eyes, but if I win, I want your Time Wizard!".
"What the hell!" Mai screamed in outrage, "Jou is already losing like that! Ryuuzaki, you are cheating if you propose something like that now!".
"Cheater!" Honda yelled in anger, he couldn't believe there's someone who wanted to take advantage like that.
"Jou!" Yugi called out to his friend, "Do you want to accept it?".
Jou looked at Yugi as he bit his lower lip. He was in a bad situation, but he had the feeling that he had to accept the offer. Red Eyes wanted him as its owner – as absurd as it sounded, it was true. He could feel it in his heart, and somehow, he could understand Red Eyes's voice. Even though the Black Dragon didn't exactly talking to him, only making sound like growling or roaring, he could understand what the Dragon want to tell him.
The question is . . . what in the world does Ryuuzaki want to do with Time Wizard? Jou asked himself as he looked at the face down Card he placed earlier, he had forgotten that he had placed it until Ryuuzaki mentioned it. He only knows that Time Wizard could change Baby Dragon into Thousand Dragon, he blinked before looking at the card thoughtfully. Was there another thing that Time Wizard could do? And besides, even if he accepted the proposal, Time Wizard was given to him by Yugi, he couldn't bet it just like that.
"Jou!" Yugi called again, Jou looked at him with conflicted expression, "If you want to accept, just accept! I know you can win!".
Jou looked at Yugi with shocked expression before he shot his friend a grateful grin, "Thanks, Yugi, for giving me permission to bet your Card." He said before looking at Ryuuzaki, "I accept the proposal, I will give you Time Wizard if I lose and you will give me Red Eyes if I win".
Ryuuzaki laughed excitedly, "Yeah!" he exclaimed happily, "With this, I can beat Mai after I defeat you!".
"Don't be so sure." Jou said seriously, "Because I will use this Card!" He exclaimed as he flipped open Time Wizard, "Time Wizard!".
"What?!" Ryuuzaki gasped in horror.
Yugi looked in anxiety when Time Wizard appeared. He knew that it was Jou's only chance in getting Red Eyes, that's why he gave his friend permission to bet the Card he gave Jou, but he was worried whether Jou could pull it off or not. Calm down, he told himself, Jou will be able to do it. He is the Master of Gamble, he can do it.
"But it's not over!" Ryuuzaki yelled frantically, "You only have 50% chance of winning!".
"Time Roulette!" Jou exclaimed with his hands in fists, as the needle of the clock in Time Wizard's staff started spinning, he closed his eyes. Come on! He begged in his mind, I need to win and get Red Eyes!
"Please." Yugi whispered as he looked at Time Wizard.
"Jou." Anzu and Honda whispered in anticipation.
Jounouchi, Mai thought in worry. Don't lose, you have your Sister waiting for you to get her the money, right?
The needle slowed down, and when it stopped, Yugi, Anzu and Honda cheered happily while Mai sighed in relief, causing Jou to open his eyes and looked at the Roulette. Jou grinned widely, "Yes!" he cheered, "Time Magic!".
"Time Magic!" Time Wizard said as the Wizard with clock body pointing it's staff down to Red Eyes.
The Magic caused an air vortex to appear above the arena and wind blowing from the vortex, forcing them to closing their eyes. When they opened their eyes again after everything calmed down, they saw that the Res Eyes stayed still in a stone like color. "What . . . what the . . .?" Ryuuzaki gaped at the sight.
"After passing thousands of years, Red Eyes turned into a fossil." Yugi explained as the fossil of Red Eyes started cracking and then turned to dust.
"My . . . Red Eyes." Ryuuzaki whined when his LP dropped to 0.
Jou sighed in relief before looking at Ryuuzaki, "Alright, 2 Star chips and Red Eyes are mine!" he exclaimed happily as he hit the air with his fist.
"My Red Eyes." Ryuuzaki said with twin river of tears downing his cheeks.
