I am so sorry for not updating in forever! I promise I will try to be more active from now on! Also, no hate towards Nikki Reed, I just needed an antagonist girlfriend of Ian's for the story, and since they're actually married, it fit.

Six months. It's been six months since I was adopted, and my fifteenth birthday is fast approaching. Dad's been talking about getting me a kitten or a puppy for my birthday, but when he brought it up to Nikki, who now lives with us on weekends, she got angry. She said that they were messy and that she didn't want to deal with them. When Dad tried to tell her that he and I would be taking care of the animal, she claimed that then he would no longer have time for her.

I was really excited about getting a pet, but I guess I won't be getting one now that Nikki has shut that down. My mom talks about getting another kitten for us, but she thinks it would be hard because Lynx would get jealous of a new cat in the house. It does make me upset, I've always wanted a pet, but I guess I do still have Lynx, so that's good.

As for my role on The Vampire Diaries, I've been a reoccurring character all season, and we're about to shoot the season finale. It's exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time, because season finales are usually when characters get killed off or leave the show. Julie probably wouldn't kill me off, after all, Sera is really young, but she might get her to go off somewhere, which I have to say would suck.

A few other things have happened. It turns out Candice was pregnant, and she gave birth to an adorable little baby. Her name is Florence May. I've met little Florence a few times when Mom or Dad visit Candice and Joe. She's a really sweet-tempered baby, and she doesn't cry a lot, which is nice.

Today, my mom and I are going shopping, and then my dad is taking me to dinner and a movie. Our activities kind of show our relationships with each other. Mom is like my best friend, and we do all the girly stuff together, like shopping and getting manicures and pedicures, while my dad is like a really awesome, cool dad, who takes me to movies, which we both love, and cooks with me. I even sort of look like them now too, which is funny, because I'm not biologically theirs. My skin has taken on a glow sort of like my mom's, and my hair has darkened quite a bit so it's like hers. My eyes are still a shocking blue like my father's.

I get dressed in a pair of cropped jean shorts and a flowy tank top, and slip into my flip-flops. It's hot, which is incredibly uncharacteristic for Georgia in February, but we had a really strange winter. I grab a beanie and shades and put them on, walking out of the house and meeting my mom in the car. We head to the nearest mall, and I think we bought over a hundred things while we were there. In the food court, we got salads and a guy around my age with black hair and light blue eyes walked up to me. He was dressed in black, and I would have thought he was emo or Goth, were it not for his muscular build and letterman jacket that he carried with him. He asked to hang out, and my mother easily allowed us.

We started talking, and I learned his name was Dylan. After about an hour, my mom called, and I gave him my number. "Call me, we can hang out sometime." I smiled at him and then left.

My mom smirked at me as we walked to the car. "So, cute boy. What's his name?"

I blushed and laughed a little at my mother's eagerness. "His name is Dylan, Mom."

"Oh?" She raised an eyebrow at me and grinned. "And does this Dylan now have my daughter's phone number?"

I nodded and laughed. "Yup, but don't let Dad know, I think he'd kill him."

Mom nodded and smiled at me, before driving me over to my Dad's.

There, Dad and I left for the movies and we saw some stupid comedy. I wanted to see Deadpool, but Dad wouldn't let me because it was rated R. After the movie he took me for dinner and ice cream, and when we got home I changed into my pajamas and went downstairs again. There, my Dad and I sat on the couch and watched TV until I fell asleep with my head on his shoulder.

Seraphina screamed as Kai's head was cut off. Liv held her back and watched the severed head and body fall to the floor. "No!" Sera screamed, glaring at Damon. "How could you? He did nothing to you!" She tried to use her magic but found that Liv was blocking it with a spell, so instead the young girl fell into her sister's arms, sobbing. Her father had left her for New Orleans, her brother had just been killed. All she had now was her sisters, and the hope that she could get revenge. "I will kill you for this! You will regret the day you crossed me!" She screamed at Damon.

Liv touched her hand to her sister's forehead, knocking her out. "It's best that I block out her memories. I'll make her forget Kai and Klaus, that way she won't be so hell-bent on killing you. I'm glad you killed Kai, he was a monster. But doing it in front of Sera was a bad idea."

Season Six wrapped up, and a party commenced. It was strange, being at a party with a bunch of adults and being the only kid there, but everyone paid attention to me and Florence, because we're fun to fawn over, I suppose. All in all, I was just glad not to be written off the show, though I was really sad to see Chris go. He promised to keep in touch, and I knew he was only leaving because of his new show.

When we got home, it was a little after 1, and mom invited Dad to stay the night, because he had driven us home. He agreed, because it was late and we didn't want him to end up in an accident. After they thought I had gone to sleep, I heard them in the kitchen, talking. I snuck down the stairs and watched as Dad kissed Mom goodnight, and I smiled. A spark of hope began to form that my parents would end up together after all.
