Charlotte, Zelda's handmaid, was helping Zelda into a white, silk dress. The dress itself was elegant and beautiful. Silky and conforming to the touch, Zelda flatted the dress along her body while Charlotte laced up the back. Once the back was laced up, Charlotte instructed Zelda to sit down on the nearby stool to allow her hair, just dried from the recent bath, to be braided and prepped.

Sitting down, Charlotte started separating the hair into 5 strands. Setting the silver headset onto the princess' forehead and began weaving her hair through it, "Do you think this ceremony is really necessary?".

Zelda, as the acting queen, technically wasn't supposed to let the help talk to her like this. Impa, not against it on a personal level, told her to watch herself to ensure that her image to the other kingdoms doesn't come off as "soft". As one of the few rulers of the fairer sex, many of her affiliates have trouble supporting her, claiming that she made decisions with her heart, not her mind.

"I'm sure, the people need to know that I fully support the unification of the sheikah and the hylian armies", Zelda felt, rather than saw, that Charlotte was finished adjusting the headdress and began braiding the three sections of her hair flowing down her back. Zelda always preferred a simple braid, made her feel like she fit in, at least a little bit more. "Ruto, princess of the Zoras, and Darunia, 'Big Brother' of the Gorons, are both going to be at the ceremony, their respective armies will not be joining us, as they are both fighting their own wars. But they are here as a peace gesture, showing us that our three armies are fighting on the same side of the war, just not in the same army".

"Why do you need them to show good faith, we all know we have mutual support" Charlotte finished the braid and inserted the end of the hair into the pendant. She spun Zelda on her stool till she met her eye-to-eye and started to work on her two strands of hair on either side of her angular face. Charlotte saw the look of tire on Zelda's face and decided to change the subject. "Okay, now get up so I can finish up your armor".

Zelda stood erect, and upon seeing how much taller she was then charlotte, begun to lean over, "Oh no you don't" Charlotte chastised, "A queen never kneels to her servants". Charlotte stepped up onto the stool Zelda just arose from. She lifted the shoulder pads over the taller girl's head and set them into place. Then as the final touch, the seal of Hyrule on a chain that rested on her hips. Zelda thanked Charlotte and put on her gloves as she was walking out the door.

Zelda met Sheik in the entry hall of the castel. The ceremony will take place on the top steps, it was Impa's idea to have the two girls walk out into the spotlight together.

As the two walked out and the few seconds of adjusting eyes took place, Zelda saw few familiar faces, Agatha stood on the left side of the great castle doors, with Fi on the other side. Impa and Link on either side of the podium she was supposed to be speaking at. Lana was off to the side instructing a group of 10 or so magicians whose sole job was to amplify the voices to the people lining the courtyard could hear her. She could've done it herself, she easily has the magical capacity for the simple spell. But Impa, being the worry-wort that she was, didn't

allow her to try. "This is not the time to be taking any chances" she told her.

As she walked up to the podium, Zelda couldn't help but smile at the group of Hylians gathered in the courtyard.

Zelda's speech addressing their deal with the sheikah tribe went as smoothly as planned. To symbolize their union, all four societies were to set aside their most symbolic weapons, per tradition every society had a weapon that symbolized them. Sheik lad her tribes Katana across the red velvet surface. Zelda noticed that runes and symbols were etched in the blade. Then Darunia, who laid down his hammer, of course the hammer would represent the gorons toughness. This particular hammer, Zelda knew, could heat the surface surrounding it. Then Ruto gave her Silver Scales, these dual armbands were imbued with magic that allowed her to teleport water to help her fight in arid places.

Zelda knew it was her turn to add a weapon onto the fabric laid across the table. Until now, she had planned on summoning her rapier. But now, she knew that the Triforce of Wisdom was connected to the royal family and by extension as was the Light Bow. As she stepped up to the table, still decided between the two.

She felt her Triforce flash on her right hand, and she made her decision. Drawing a thin conductor's baton from her belt, she set the Wind Waker on the red velvet and stepped back into line next to Shiek and Darunia.

Link, on the right side of the table, raised the Master Sword while Impa, on the opposite side, summoned her Naginata out of flames and raised it likewise. Link -a well known and well liked household name- and Impa -known for her fighting prowess- both showing their support to help convince the people this is the best way.

The proud moment, symbolizing new hope to help win this war was short lived one second it seemed like Zelda was smiling sincerely, the first in a long time. The next, Cia had appeared in front of the table, just out of reach of Link, who tried a horizontal slice, but not for Impa. Brandishing her Naginata pushed Cia back. With a flick of her wrist, lavender-colored magic flew out of her fingertips.

Not knowing what happened, Link lunged forward and sliced downward, but still missed Cia by a few mere milliseconds. Impa placed a

guiding hand on Link's shoulder, telling him-in her own way- that he needs to clear his head.

Then her magic took placed, the 4 weapons that had once been on the velvet table flew through the air until they disappeared into Cia's

hand. Reminding Link of how Midna's fused shadows had once disappeared behind her, that is before she left our world for her own.

Cia raised her scepter and swung it at Impa, who side-stepped easily-

That was all she saw until Agatha and Fi were pushing her and the other 4 representatives back into the castle. Zelda remembered that the 2 of them were waiting by the door together, probably for this very purpose. Her train of thought was interrupted by a dragon's roar overhead-Volga, causing Zelda to look around her as her instincts took hold. What she saw wasn't the dragon, but Lana, standing in a circle of magicians, as Wizzro summoned himself from underneath her. Lana was able to jump out of the circle in time, but the others weren't so lucky. Each dropping one-by-one as Wizzro vapor poison took effect.

Agatha pushed her forward, out of the action, Fi guided the group from the front. Agatha mentioned something about being sorry and under direct orders from Impa.

Zelda looked around the group and then began to understand why they were running. At least, 2 of the 4 were running. Ruto couldn't control water without her Silver Scales, therefore she couldn't fight. Darunia was also crippled without his hammer, but didn't look too happy about running. Zelda looked sideways at Sheik, who was obviously thinking the same thing.
