Chapter 8: Strategies and Planning

AN: I know I said at the end of Dark Day, Black Night that the next chapter would be Were Tribe Strikes Back but I have come up with something that I think everyone will enjoy. Consider this to be Part 1 of a Limbo Arc. This will cover a few chapters. Well, without further ado, I bring you Chapter 8.

Snow sat in his room at his desk, a tired look on his face; he stared at the screen, doing a few random calculations. It took a lot of effort to leader around three hundred and fifty to four hundred people and he was the one doing it. A knock sounded from his door, snapping him from his thoughts. He looked at the clock in the corner and noted the late hour. "Who is it," he called out.

"It's Starlight," the person on the other side replied, "I couldn't sleep and I noticed your light on and decided to see how you were."

"Come on in Starlight," he said with a smile as he returned his eyes to the monitor. The door opened and closed. He glanced sideways and saw that she was looking at his pictures. For some reason, he liked her, maybe it was because they were so much alike, and neither of them knew their parents, both orphaned. The fox shook his head, clearing the thoughts away; he needed to focus on what was going on, too young to worry about matters of the heart or the opposite sex. He looked at the screen, trying to make some sort of sense, but he was defiantly tired, he just couldn't relax enough to rest. He felt a pair of slender hands rest on his shoulders and start massaging them.

"You're so tense Snow," the hedgette whispered in his ear, "you've done so much for everyone, and let me help you to relax. Come on." She gently grabbed his arm and led him over to his bed, helped him remove all of his weapons and lay him down. She left his loincloth on, climbed on the bed, and started to give him a massage. It was unlike anything he'd ever felt! He let out a sigh as she worked, feeling his tense body relax and seem to sink into the mattress.

'She's got such delicate hands,' he thought whimsically, 'I know Cora said I should guard against falling for anyone who is tribe born but I really like her. I've never felt this relaxed; I don't really believe I could be affected by the curse anyway. I know I don't know a lot about my heritage but something tells me that I will be safe from the curse.'

'He's so handsome and muscular,' Star thought wistfully, 'this feels wrong though. I know he's got that fox and cat after him too but Pyra thinks I stand a good chance. I don't know why I'm doing this, but it seems that she was right. Maybe all foxes have a soft spot for a pretty she-hog. I hope this ends well for me.' She felt him become fully relaxed and thought he'd gone to sleep. She moved to the edge of the bed and watched him for a moment before turning off the light. As she started for the door an arm snaked out and grabbed her's. She whirled around and saw glowing fox eyes staring at her.

"Please," Snow said, almost pleadingly, "stay here with me tonight. I don't want to be alone right now." Starlight stood there for a moment, just looking into his lumescent eyes. Slowly she climbed back onto the bed and lay next to him. The kit sighed contentedly and shifted so his arm was draped over her and pulled her to him. "Thank you," he said appreciatively as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. She felt his breathing turn to the soft draw of deep sleep and felt a warm smile cross her face. She burrowed in closer, careful to make sure to keep he quills flat and joined him in sleep...

The Next Morning

Amy walked down the hall on the second deck of the massive Blue Typhoon II. She passed by the Commander's room and was surprised to hear light snoring coming from it. 'What the hell,' she thought as she paused with her hand on the door, 'Snow would usually be up by now, what's going on?' As quietly as possible she opened the door slightly and peered in. 'This is deffinatly a surprise,' the pink hedgehog thought as she saw Snow in bed, sound asleep with his are draped over a violet female hedgehog, 'I'd seen her when we trained the tribe members on the weapons and armor but I didn't think they'd gotten this close in those three days!' She quietly shut the door and headed off to her and her ebony boyfriend's quarters.

"Hey Ames," he said, noticing the peculiar cheesy grin on her face, "what's up."

"Oh, uh, I think your 'little brother' might not be so little anymore Shadow," she replied seriously.

Shadow looked at her, clearly confused, "What do you mean Amy?"

"Well," Amy answered, "I was coming back from the bathroom and heard snoring for Snow's quarters. I thought it was odd so I took a peek. He was in there, sound asleep with that purple she-hog cuddled close to him and his arm draped over her." Shadow was about to respond wherever the lights suddenly turned red and the general quarters klaxon sounded.

"Battle stations everyone," Tails voice came over the speaker, "this isn't a drill. Strange ships have been spotted on radar. I repeat all hands to battle stations." Shadow and Amy looked at each other and raced to the bridge and their battle stations.

Snow charged in a moment later in his normal tribal wear, Starlight hot on his tail and said, "How many are there?" He walked over to the commander's seat and sat down.

Tails looked back at him from the pilot's seat with raised eyebrows and replied, "Scanners show six but they look to be able to carry fighter sized ships."

The snowy kit tapped listlessly as he looked at space beyond the bridge, suddenly getting a cold feeling he asked, "Anyone besides Tails, Chris and myself a capable pilot?"

"I haven't flown before but I could probably learn it quickly," Starlight called from weapons control.

When nobody else answered Snow said, "Chris, take over for Tails, Aunt Sally has command of the ship for now. Tails lets go." As he went for the door, he stopped momentarily beside Starlight and the said, "Someone take weapons, and Starlight can come as well." As the trio passed by, Shadow couldn't help but notice the white ribbon in the hedgett's hair-like head quills and smiled. The three raced down to the main hangar and over to the ranks. Pulling on a flight suit quickly, Snow went over to Starlight, "Hey, I never got to thank you for last night."

She looked up at him, "Anytime, my Prince."

The fox frowned at her, "Did I misread the signals you seemed to be sending last night or something?"

"And what would those be," she asked, grinning sweetly.

"Seemed to me last night you were interested in me," he replied, blushing slightly at his own disappointment.

"Oh," Starlight said with a blush, "well, that is, I am. Actually, if it weren't for encouragement from Pyra, I'd probably not even be here right now. I'm actually usually not this comfortable around boys. I just, really l-l-love you and I feel so calm and peaceful around you. I like how that makes me feel and..." Snow quickly shut up her word vomit by pulling her into his arms and kissing her passionately. Starlight's eyes widened in surprise and stiffed, but she slowly relaxed into him and kissed him back.

'Maybe I will belong to him,' She thought through the heated rush of her blood, 'I know that this could work. Looks like the shy and quiet one has won, Blaze and Ariel will be steamed.' She heard a low growl and smiled, 'Hopeful that was possessive, not hungry.' After an eternity, or so it seemed to her, the fox broke the kiss and held her, both breathless.

Tails had come up just in time to see them kissing and had stood there, slack jawed, 'Never thought this could happen. I saw her wearing the white ribbon four days ago when we left but I didn't think about it.'

"Hey," Amy said as she approached Tails, noticed his expression and changed track, "what's got you slack jawed?" Wordlessly the yellow fox pointed over to where Starlight and Snow stood, Snow gently stroking her quills. Amy watched this with a smile. After a moment they broke apart and finished dressing, turned and noticed the two standing there and blushed madly. Amy walked up to the other hedgehog and held out a hand, "Hi, I'm Amy Rose, Shadow's girlfriend."

Starlight took her hand and shook it, "I'm Starlight the Werehog. Snow told me a lot about you and Shadow. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Amy tossed a look at the white vulpine, "I came because Shadz has been teaching me how to pilot and I was a little preoccupied when you asked for pilots. Mind letting a girl get changed?" Snow nodded and walked off. Amy removed her shirt and looked at the violet hedgette as she continued to change, "So, do you love him, and I mean really love him?"

"Yes, I do," Starlight replied, "what does it matter to you?"

"It matters to me because that fox matters to Shadow," the pink she-hog retorted, "I'm deeply in love with the black blur. Shadow considers the fox his younger brother, that sweet fox was the first person to ever get through that hedgehog's bad boy exterior. I still remember the day I first saw him smile, it was weird and the kit was the one who caused it. Those two are as close as Tails and Snow are. Look, I don't want this to turn into a fight so I will cut to the chase. If you break that fox boy's heart, it won't be the wrath of the 'Ultimate Life form' you will need to worry about, it'll be MY wrath, got it sister?" The purple Werehog just nodded. The two finished dressing and walked up to the two Todd's, who were doing preflight on two sleek fighters and two very streamlined, very familiar fighters.

Satisfied, Snow turned from the planes and faced the two, "Amy, you got Tails six and Starlight has mine. Before this, as we don't really have time for training I'm going to do something that I really shouldn't." He motioned for Starlight to join him and held out a glowing hand to her, hesitantly she grabbed it and he started to chant, "Esu tou naka ne banna!" Starlight's eyes widened as a rush of information seared into her consciouness and was rapidly absorbed by her brain. When it stopped, both her and Snow were on their knees and Amy was looking puzzled. The fox looked at her and said, "I just imprinted all my knowledge and experience with piloting and dog fighting directly into her mind. Before you ask, she is the only one I can do it to." Nova helped her gently to her feet and waited. Once she was steady the fox continued, "Tails and I have already completed the prefight on all four planes. Tails and I will, of course, be flying the X Tornado and Snowstorm X. Amy you're flying Hammershot and Starlight is flying Hurricane." With that said he ran, spun his four tails and landed in the cockpit of his plane. He reverently took his blue Chaos Crystal from around his neck and inserted it into the slot on the console. He put on his headset and taxied to the lift that would take him to the runway. Once he was ready he smiled wanly and said something he thought he'd never say again, "Twin Tail Zero-One to control, I'm on deck and ready to launch."

With a chuckle he heard Shadow reply, "About time Twin Tail Zero-One thought you'd lost your touch. You're clear, punch it and take point." Snow smiled and throttled all the way up and tripped the brakes. He smiled as the plane accelerated, pushing him back into his seat. He listened absently as the others called out their readiness and launched off the deck. He started checking his displays and nodded when everything was green. "Twin Tail Zero-One has lead," he stated, slipping easily into his command voice, "all planes form up on me and check in." He looked to his right and watched as Starlight moved into position, just off his 'six'

"Twin Tail Zero-Two, all systems green," Tails voice came through.

"Twin Tail Zero-Three, ready and able," Starlight replied.

"Twin Tail Zero-Four, in position," Amy said as Snow looked down at his radar.

"Twin Tail Lead has positive contacts bearing two-five-eight mark six," he called out, "Typhoon, please confirm."

"Typhoon confirms contacts and heading," Cream's voice came over his headset, "IFF unable to indentify. Recommend you take defensive posture."

"Roger that Typhoon," the fox replied, "all fighters engage energy shields and power up weapons. Be vigilant." He listened to the others and focused his attention as his marker and the unknown craft closed the distance. He looked up and frowned as he saw the ships, "I got visual on bogeys, and am painting them hostile. They're deffinatly Arms. All fighters break and fire at will. Stick to your wings." Snow throttled up to attack speed and engaged his lasers and missiles.

"Should we knock hard or give them a friendly hello," Tails asked battle lust evident in his voice.

"I got a better idea," Snow replied flatly, "three pull beside be and switch Windstorm to mech mode. It's time to have a bit of fun with them, time to roll out the Unwelcome Mat." Confused by the orders, Starlight did as she was told. Snow moved Snowstorm closer and a laser barrier formed and stretched between them. He was laughing hard when it worked. The two slender craft with the Black Arms symbol smashed into the barrier, going up in a fiery explosion. The white fox let out a cry of disbelief as a whole swarm of those ships that were just destroyed appeared from the planet they were fast approaching. "All craft pull back and head for Typhoon," Snow snarled, frustrated at what he was seeing, "we aren't running, consider this a strategic withdraw. We need to regroup and figure out what to do about this." He took a deep breath, 'This is deffinatly not over.' The fox converted his plane back to fighter mode, landed and taxied back to the elevator. Once he was back in the hangar he powered down his fighter and jumped out, headed for the main bridge.

"Why did you guys fall back Snow," Shadow asked, grimly.

"Too many for the four of us to handle alone," he replied, "it's frustrating but it adds an unforeseen element to this. I'd like Sonic, Amy, Vector, Shadow, Tails, Sally, Starlight, Cora and Hawk to please come with me to the conference room." Without another word he turned and walked to the conference room. Once everyone was in there he explained what they had seen and waited long enough for them to digest the information.

"So," Sonic stated as he looked at Snow, "we've decided to defer leadership to you on this foray. What do you suggest?"

"I have a few suggestions," the snowy Todd replied, "but even though you have given me command of all the teams of Heroes and the Freedom Fighters, it is mearly temporary. I have decided that we should have a fighter and ground commander. We will need pilots to support our ground action and to add additional protection in space combat. I was anticipating resistance but I didn't think it wise to train up pilots where GUN could detect and question our actions. Right now, I think the best course of action is a strategic withdraw to a defensible and unoccupied planet to train pilots and start working on ground unit maneuvers and tactics. What do you guys think?"

"I think it's a good idea," Starlight stated, "I have a feeling that we'll have to take down every single Black Arms force we encounter; otherwise we won't even get to their home world." Snow smiled gratefully at her.

"I happen to agree with their assessments," Shadow said, leaning against the wall with arms crossed. After that, nobody else said anything to disagree.

"Now," Snow started, "I will go ahead and tell you how I have decided to set things up as far as Ground and Fighters go. Tails and I are both the best pilots but I think it would be better for us to do the arrangements as follows..." He looked at everyone, gauging them before he decided to continue, "The forces we have, a total of four hundred combatants and fifty non-combatants. I have already talked to Bunnie and she has agreed to take charge of the non-combatants. The four hundred combatants can easily be divided up into four divisions: mech-fighter pilots, infantry, armored forces and ship's crew. I have also decided on the best people to lead each division. I will retain overall tactical command and have decided we should form things up as if we were an army, to include uniforms, ranks and all that jazz. Uniforms are all the same, Blue/Black/Grey camo pants and shirts but those who are pilots will also have a flight suit. I wanted all of us to come up with a name for this joint Tribe, Heroes and Freedom Fighters force, something to inspire unity and our cause for this force. Before we discuss that though, I have to say that the individual division leaders aren't just tribe, they are selected from each and I don't want to see any favoritism for your own group. Infantry will be lead by Shadow the hedgehog, Leader of Sonic Heroes' Team Dark. Armored will be lead by Princess Sally Acorn, Leader of the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Blue Typhoon and its crew will be commanded by Prince Tails of the Were Tribe. Finally, I will lead our Mech-Fighter force. Anyone have any objections?" He looked around and noted with pleasure that nobody did, so he continued, "As for the ranks of the individual Division Leaders, they will be based off of the same structure GUN uses: Air and Ship forces will use Naval and all ground forces will use Marine. As I am the overall commander, my rank will be Fleet Admiral. Tails' rank will be Admiral, Shadow and Sally's ranks are General. We don't have as many mech-fighters and armor as we do guns, nor are many needed to crew this ship. As such the allotment of manpower is dictated by all of those factors. Ship's crew will be a total of fifty, mech-fighters is seventy-five, armored is seventy-five and infantry is a two hundred. The fifty Non-Combatants will be support for the fighting force: Medics, Cooks, Mechanics, Armorers, Ordinance Crews, Fight Crews and so forth. Bunnie is already organizing how she will fit them into all of these roles. It will be up to the individual Division Commanders to decide how to arrange their people. Once we have located a suitable planet to hide on, we will gather everyone together and explain things to them. Afterwards, Sally, Shadow, Tails and myself will separate and start taking the names of those who wish to be in our divisions and start training them. Everyone will be trained well in various weapons of choice, no matter what Division they chose to be in. Again, I want there to be a fair distribution of Tribe, Heroes and Fighters amongst each of our Divisions. I know that the Were Tribe holds the most bodies in this force but you can be assured Tails and I will see to it that every Division has some of our own in it. I leave it up to Sonic, Amy, Shadow, Vector and Sally to see to it that the Sonic Heroes and Freedom Fighters do the same. Now, who has a name suggestion?" Everyone except Starlight looked at one another with clueless expressions. Snow picked up on this and watched her, almost able to see the wheels turning in her head.

Finally she spoke up, "I don't know what anyone will think of this but how about 'Blades'?"

The white vulpine looked at her thoughtfully for a moment before asking, "Why?"

"Well," the violet hedgette replied, blushing slightly at the fox's sudden attention, "I thought that as we are the figurative blade of the Were Tribe's vengeance for the capture of three of our own and the attack on us and we are planning to cut through all Black Arms that are between us their home world, it's a very fitting name."

Snow nodded in satisfaction, "I like it. The Blades, I think that when we get back we should change our pack name to that."

"Pack name," Vector asked in confusion.

"The Were Tribe is more of a community than a tribe," Tails explained, "so we have what is called The Pack Law. The Pack Law states that any group of six or more tribe members that live together can declare themselves, and be recognized by the tribe as, a pack and take a new for their pack. Fiona, Chase, Rain, Ariel, Swift, Doug, Blaze, Dark, Barby, Starlight, Snow, Cora and myself all live together as a group and have been recognized by Chief Aero and Chieftess Pyra as a pack. Snow is our pack's Alpha, or leader and we chose the name Kitsune Warriors for ourselves." Vector nodded, showing he understood.

"Well," Snow said with a sigh, "if we have nothing else to discuss, then I am going to call this to a close and try to get a bit more rest. Wake me once a suitable planet is located. Nobody said anything so the young fox left and headed to his quarters. Once there he stopped and waited, knowing who was right behind him. "Coming to help me relax again Star," he asked the she-hog once she'd stepped into his room.

"That and because like you last night, I don't want to be alone at the moment," she responded with a smile. He nodded and walked in, closing and locking the door behind them.

On Doom

Fiona frowned as she watched Black Doom walk in, "Come to gloat again?"

"Oh," he replied with an evil grin, "I thought you might want to know that about two hours ago the Blue Typhoon came within range the farthest planet from here that we control and was successful in destroying two of my craft, only to be driven away before three fleets of our smallest and most nimble ships." He let lose a deep laugh then before finishing, "I guess those two foxes don't have the bravado or guts you think they do."

The red vixen simply smiled and laughed, "You think to highly of yourself, you have no idea how foxes are do you? A Vixen, once she sees something she wants, will fight for it only so hard. A Todd, on the other hand, will fight to the death for something he views as his. I'm one of Snow's apprentices so I won't reveal any of his strategies but I will tell you that you are falling for them hook, line and sinker." Black Doom just laughed and walked off.

"Are you sure about that Fi," Blaze asked, slightly downcast.

"Oh," Fiona replied, "I am quite sure. You're wearing Snow's ribbon and you can't even hold faith in him? If you can't, then you don't deserve to wear it." A glowing blue bird suddenly appeared and alighted on the young vulpine's shoulder. "About time," she said with a smile. She wriggled one hand free and touched the bird.

"We ran into an unforeseen snag," Snow's voice flooded into her mind, "Darin Canary isn't happy about it but is coping. You need to remember your training and do what we drilled on till it was instinct, you know what I mean, and you know what to do. Have fun Rockin Red!" The fox gave a smile and reached into her chest warp, pulling out a red crystal pendant similar to the ones the fox twins have.

Ariel noticed this and said, "Is that what I think that is?"

The other vixen simply smiled, reached behind her and a snap was heard before her one fluffy tail turned into three, she then touched the crystal and said, "Kitsune Warrior, Unleash the Beast!" A bright red glow enveloped her and when it cleared a very different fox was standing there. She had lithe, athletic features, razor sharp claws and her canines were visible beneath her upper lip. Her fur was a single, fire red color and she had nine tails. "Feels good to release my restraints," the fox giggled.

"You could get free at any time and you waited till now," the lilac she-cat exclaimed.

"Wasn't the right time," Fiona replied with a grin. She then reached up and touched her Chaos Crystal again. A red bird appeared and she whispered something to it before sending it on its way. "Sorry to leave you girls hangin, but this is something I can do without extra bodies slowing me down," she said with a wave as she disappeared into the shadows, slipping out of the room and down the hall like a wraith.

On the Blue Typhoon II

Snow looked at the sleeping figure next to him, a slight smile on her peacefully dreaming face. 'Glad someone can sleep like that,' he thought morosely. He hadn't come in here with the intent to sleep, no sooner than Starlight had fallen asleep the young fox-boy had sent a discreet message to the only person he could slip one to among the captive girls: Fiona. He lay there and mulled things over in his head while he waited for the return message he knew was coming. A glowing red bird popped in and he reached out and touched it.

"Message received Swirlin Snow," Fiona's voice stated, "I left the others hanging so as not to be slowed down and get caught. All of us are okay so tell Darin Canary not to worry. Blaze lost hope when tall, evil and stupid told us the Typhoon had been sent running at the edge of his empire. I swear all evil masterminds have the same stupidity complex. I'll let you handle her lack of faith in you and my fox, albeit I'd much rather tear her up. Glad you found Starlight. She's as full of piss, vinegar and BPD as I am. She'd be a good match for your cunning, tenacious and stubborn attitude. I'm gathering Intel as we speak. I'll send you another little birdie once I've got something for you. I recommend you take Star into your inner circle and give her a name like the rest of us have. Keep your chin up fox-boy, we may be in for the long haul but know it will deffinatly reveal who is right for you and who isn't, if you know what I mean." Snow smiled and gently reached over to shake the sleeping hedgehog.

"Another few minutes," she mumbled before opening her eyes, "oh, Snow! Sorry, I was having such a good dream. Did you need some-mump?" She was suddenly cut off as Snow pressed his lips to hers. Without hesitation she melted into the kiss and wrapped her arms around him. When he broke the kiss she smiled and finished breathlessly, "Another promise of the future?"

He shook his head and smiled, "the future is now in that respect. I know that we're too young to be mates, but we aren't too young to know we've fallen for each other and to stake our claim to one another. Remember this if nothing else, a Todd starts looking at females for potential mates as young as eight but won't take a mate until fourteen. What I just did was declare my interest in you as a future mate. The ribbon was a promise of the future, but the kiss was a declaration."

Starlight smiled and said, "I like that declaration, now how about I make my own." She pulled him back to her and kissed him, pouring all the love and desire she felt for him into it. When they broke the vulpine couldn't do anything but lay there with her smiling stupidly.

He came out of it finally, touched his crystal and sent a glowing bird out, "a message to my brother, telling him to come here. There is something I've decided to do and to let you in on." She looked at him puzzled but he refused to explain, much to her frustration. A knock and soon heard at the door and Snow jumped up and let Tails in.

"What's up bro," the canary kit asked.

"Initiation," he replied simply. Tails looked at the violet hedgehog and smiled knowingly. Snow faced her and said, "Starlight, I have my own little inner circle, or group of people I trust explicitly. So far only two people are in that group. My brother Tails and your best friend Fiona. I wish to include you in that group; we all have our own little nicknames. Tails is Darin Canary; Fiona is Rockin Red and I'm Swirlin Snow. Would you like to be in my inner circle?"

She started at him dumbstruck, "Yes, but how did you know Fiona was my best friend?"

The snowy fox smiled, "a little red birdie flew in and told me. Fiona is Kitsune, just like Tails and myself, we have a way of communicating that is virtually undetectable. Anyway, You're my kind of girl is why I've chosen to ask you to join. Hmm, a nickname, like the rest of us, let me think. Ah, how about Voracious Violet? Yes, how does that sound Star?"

The violet hedgette thought a moment then replied, "Yes, I like it." She was about to hug him but he placed a hand just above her chest wrap and mumbled something. A violet glow appeared under his hand and faded when he withdrew his hand. She placed her hand on the violet crystal left around her neck and smiled warmly, "A Chaos Crystal."

"Yes," Snow said, smiling warmly, "Kitsune can gift others with one if they choose. I'm still teaching Tails how to use his, so why don't I teach you at the same time?"

"I'd like that," Starlight answered, turning her warm smile on him. It looked like the fox was about to say something else but a red bird appeared and landed on his shoulder. He reached for it and closed his eyes.

"Got some Intel for you," Fiona's voice rang out to everyone in the room, "it looks like there are about fifty planets between you guys and Doom, and all of them are under the control of the Black Arms. Looks like you guys will have a lengthy fight on your hands. There are fleets stationed at every planet as well as two battalions of foot soldiers and three wings of hawks on the surface of each planet. Doom itself has over five hundred foot soldiers and three hundred hawk wings on the ground; add two fleets in orbit as well. I hope you guys don't stay too close to the border of their conquests. Oh, before I forget, it looks like the local populous of all the planets might be willing to help you if you liberate them. I wasn't able to gather much else and I don't want to be gone too long or they'll know I can get free. I'll make another foray as soon as it's safe. Tell Canary I love him, Snow and please take care of yourself my friend."

"She's spying for us," Tails asked in surprise. The other fox nodded in response.

The speaker next to them crackled to life and Chris's voice filtered through it, "Snow we are approaching a deserted planet that would be suited to what you asked. Shall we land?"

The vulpine strode to the wall and hit the transmit button, "Yes, proceed to land, I'll be at the boarding ramp, have everyone disembark once we have landed. We have lots to do."

"Alright," Thordyke replied, "see you there."

Snow looked at the other two and smiled, "Shall we?" The others nodded and followed him to the ramp.
