AN: Well, after so many weeks of work on it: here is chapter nine! I will forewarn that the rating of this chapter is MATURE. The rest of the story isn't though. At the end I'm going to say something about the competition I announced in the last chapter. Well without further ado: On with the story!

Chapter 9: Training and a Daring Rescue

"Alright," Snow barked, his tails waving as he looked over the ninety-nine others standing on the fight deck, "you've all done really well with your training but today is the hardest test yet. All of you will be facing off against the four best pilots. One of those is from among you and will be announced after the other three. The three are Tails the Werefox, Amy Rose and myself. The final pilot to round off this foursome is Starlight the Werehog. Now, this will be a test of your skill, the final test. The hard deck for this run is ten thousand; you are not to engage below the hard deck. I'll let you use your imagination to figure out what the penalty is for violating the hard deck rule. You have to get a positive lock in order to down your target. None of us will have any ammunition of any sort, so as to reduce the chance of accidental friendly fire. Also, to make things more interesting you'll be divided into three teams. Each team will have differing amounts of pilots and each team will also have one 'Black Sheep'. The purpose of the 'Black Sheep is to sow disharmony amongst your team. You'll need to identify and convince the black sheep to stop their activities and also to get them to quit feeding my squad information. 'Black Sheep' will also attempt to get at least one other person to turn on you. The exercise is over once either all four of us are 'downed' or all of you are 'downed'. Now, all of you get ready and get airborne. Dismissed!" He turned away and zipped his flight suit, headed for his plane.

"Hey handsome," Starlight smiled sweetly as she walked up to the snowy fox teen, "happy fourteenth birthday!" She then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

The fox smiled, "Thank you Star! How did you find out today was mine and Tails birthday, we've hidden it so well so far?"

Now it was her turn to smile, "Oh, a little fox told me."

"I told her," Tails grinned, "I think you two would make a better couple than you and Ariel. You complete one another more than you and the emerald vixen."

"Yes but I also need to look at the fact that between Blaze and Ariel, the other two who like me, Ariel is the only one who has faith in us being able to rescue the girls while Blaze has all but given up hope of a rescue," Snow told his brother.

"Have you tried getting Fiona to project messages back and forth between the two of you," his twin queried, "maybe if you tried it she'd have more hope. Remember, Werecats are sensible and realists. It's all a part of their nature."

The white fox hung his head, "I haven't, you're right. I'll have Fiona act as a messenger between Blaze and myself. I'm honestly surprised you're downing Ariel."

"What do you mean by that bro," Miles babbled.

Snow smiled, "I'm not stupid bro. I know Ariel is using you to get me to notice her. I admire her cunning but she obviously forgot that your first loyalty is to family and you won't do anything that you feel is a detriment to me. If you feel she isn't right for me then you'll tell me so." With that he walked away from them and headed for his plane and got in. They watched in silence as he taxied to the end of the makeshift airfield they'd set up, throttled up, tripped his brakes and was gone...

Inside the Blue Typhoon II

"Are you sure this is a good idea," a grey wolf asked as he hefted a young rabbit into the air so she could placed some streamers, "I don't think Prince Snow and Prince Tails are going to be happy about this."

"Don't worry what they'll think suga," Bunnie replied as she watched Cream place the streamer with a critical eye, "those two have been working themselves to passing out every day since we landed here to train six years ago. They probably forgot today is their fourteenth birthday. If they get mad then I'll take the blame Cora." She looked around at all the preparations that were going on with a smile...

In the air

Chase smiled as he surveyed the area, "All squadron leaders report."

"Hound lead checking in," Doug's voice came over the headset, "no sign of the Raptors yet."

"Fox leader, all clear," Dark replied.

"Shit! What was that white flash," Hawk, Were leader, yelped.

"Come again Were Lead," the white wolf frowned into his mask.

"Sorry but Were Leader is toast," Snow's voice came over the comm, "please try your call again later."

"Where the fuck did they come from," Dark swore, "Were Squadron's all been neutralized."

"They're using the clouds as cover to strike us," Chase said after a moment, "all squadrons scatter! They'll have a harder time picking us off that way. Remember it's the two Princes, Amy and Starlight we're dealing with. They won't make this easy."

"Right you are," Snow quipped as Chase's plane screamed at him, "Why would we make this easy? Now show me whatcha got wolfie!"

'Why me,' the wolf thought as he pulled into a corkscrewing dive, heading for the hard deck. He straightened out and pulled into a two-gee climb.

"I'll let you go this time wolfie," the fox taunted merrily, "but next time I will feast on wolf." He then climbed back into the clouds where the others waited for him and switched frequencies to theirs, "That was too easy. Did you guys get your targets?"

"All but Dark from Fox Squadron is out of the running," Tails reported, "it was easy." Snow could hear the amusement in his voice.

"Why didn't you get Dark," Snow inquired.

"He pulled a fast one and almost got me! Not surprising as he's like us. Chased me a few klicks before I dropped to the deck and hit the burners," the canary Todd quipped.

"The rest of Wolf Squadron is out," Starlight called out, "as requested my Prince. Could you do me a favor and not scare me next time? Rain was easing up on your six and setting up for a sure lock before you disengaged."

"I knew she was there babe," Snow replied teasingly. He honestly didn't notice Rain, "Remind me to give you a treat later on and good job on completing your assignment."

"I eliminated all but Doug and Rain from Hound Squadron," Amy stated tersely, "Would've had Rain if Doug hadn't slipped in and chased me off."

"I was expecting those two to survive the strike," Snow replied, "Dark was a surprise and Chase is obviously not as much a pinhead as we thought before. Good job Ames. Now, why don't we see how much of a panic we've caused?" The four switched to the main frequency as Nichole, who was acting as Air Traffic Control, gave an update.

"Teams one and three are neutralized," Nichole said cheerily, "Team Two is down to four fighters. All four fighters from Raptor Squadron are still airborne."

"Damn," Doug swore, "they worked over the larger teams before starting on our twenty fighter team!"

"Correct," Snow broke in, "sound tactics are to eliminate the larger threat before you take on the small fry. You four have truly surpassed my expectations. Points for you! It's far from over though, reform into a four man squad or two man teams as you see fit. You've got five minutes to decide on your course of action while we decide on ours, then we're coming, ready or not."

"I think teams would be the wisest course Chase," Rain stated, she was the black sheep of this team and was milking it for all she was worth. She heard Snow's chuckle in her ear, back on his own frequency, she smiled.

"Your right Mara," Chaser replied, "Dark you're with me. Doug with your girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend," the weredog barked, "and quit calling her Mara, she's Rain the Werewolf now!"

"Oh yeah; sure she not Doug, you didn't seem to mind it, when she called you cupcake the other day, when you thought no one wasn't around listening?" Dark chuckled to himself.

"Shut up Dark or I'll-," Dark who now has a big smile on his face, but at the same time is acting with a scared like voice, "I'm so scared Doug, or should I call you by your new pet name; cupcake."

"Whatever, can't you two can work this out later, okay?!" Chase snarked before him and Dark broke right and headed off.

'Idiot,' the midnight wolf thought as she muted the main frequency, "Please tell me you caught all that big bro and that you'll make him pay?"

"Don't worry, he'll pay," Snow assured her, "give Doug our frequency and have him switch to it lil sis." She acknowledged and smiled. The kitsu sighed and said, "Tails and Amy, you got Doug and Rain. Let them tag you but make them work for it."

"What are you and Starlight going to do bro," Tails asked.

"It's open season on idiots and we're going hunting," Snow deadpanned, "I'm not letting him get away with dissin my adopted sister."

"Wait," his twin replied, "if you're claiming Rain as your sister does that mean she's my sister too?"

"If you want me to be your baby sister," Rain replied instead of Snow.

"Always wanted a sister," Tails quipped with a grin.

"Okay, can someone tell me why you four are on this frequency," Doug asked, clearly confused.

"Didn't you know," the she-wolf replied, "I claim Snow as my big bro. The loyalty a fox shows to its own extends to me because of my claim and because he claims me as his sister in return."

"I must've forgotten to mention that I was crafty in deciding on who was the Black Sheep of Team Two, or should I say a she-wolf that's as cunning and deceptive as I am," the white fox said flatly, "and now you've been drafted as I know you won't mind helping me after what Chase just pulled. Too bad, I was just starting to think the wolf might be playing dumb, which he is. You two are on this frequency now and will take Amy and Tails place once you've tagged them."

"Shall we dance the friendly skies big bro Tails," Rain said sweetly as she broke left and did a barrel roll.

"Yes lets," Tails laughed as he rocketed after her, "show me what you've got sis." The she-wolf jigged, juked and finally tripped her air brakes, the yellow fox shot past her and she shot after him. "Huh," the fox exclaimed and looked behind him as his plane screamed about a missile lock, "slick trick Rain!"

"Scratch one fox," she replied with a grin as the X Tornado dove to land and she shot into the clouds, "let's dance again sometime." Tails chuckled in response.

"Guess it's our turn Amy," the weredog stated.

"No fair Doug," the pink hedgehog whined as her plane screamed about a missile lock before she even had a chance to move.

"Real clever Doug," Snow piped in, "quit complaining and hit the dirt Ames. Ok you two, here's the plan: you guys are gonna tell Chase and Dark you've found us and have already taken out Amy and Tails. Knowing the arrogant wolf, he'll order you to break off and shadow us until he can get there to make the kill. We'll lead them on a merry chase and drop to the hard deck, keeping them off till we get below it. They should both get so frustrated they'll be totally focused on us. Lock onto them just above the ten thousand limit so you two have them before the no engage zone and won't have to join them for violating the rule of engagement for the exercise."

"That's dirty," Starlight replied, "I like it." Without another word the two did as they were told and the chase was on.

"I'll have your ass yet Snow," Chase growled as he followed the slippery fox in his dive for the hard deck. He was determined to get him this time. He howled in triumph as he finally got a positive lock on the elusive fox, "Got you!"

"Wrong, check your altimeter," his quarry responded smugly, "you lose. We're fifteen hundred feet below the hard deck for this exercise and you have been toast for the last sixteen hundred feet. Head for base and hit the showers while I decide on your punishment. A good fighter pilot never loses his cool in combat and forgets the rules of engagement, nor does they diss one of their wing mates."

"Chase is fried," Rain called jubilantly, "I've been spying this whole time and I'm the one who's been locked on for the last sixteen hundred."

"Doug got me at eleven thousand as Rain got you," Dark growled, "but unlike you I wouldn't let Starlight trick me. I broke off at ten thousand; your sorry attempts at one-upmanship aren't worth getting in trouble for in my book."

"Traitors," Chase snarled as he headed for the airstrip.

On the ground

"You better learn to curb your tongue Chase," Snow, in his wereform, shouted at the wolf who was on the ground in a pose of submission with his Alpha's power and rage washing over him like a tsunami, "remember who the hunter is and who the apprentice is. While you were safe, in your mother's arms, I was fighting Doctor Ivo Robotnik and his SWATbots as a Knothole Freedom Fighter! While you were basking in the safety of the tribe I was fighting evil geniuses, Kitsune Destroyers, petty tyrants, ancient evils, the Black Arms and the Metarex. I've done more and been through more than you have, been near death and the reason for it. You have absolutely no hope of ever being my equal. Only those like Tails, Starlight, Rain, Fiona, Blaze, Doug and Dark could ever hold to that hope. Now, as for your punishment, I think it's only fitting that you have to do something for the person you were totally disrespectful toward. Rain is a senior apprentice and you were blatantly snide and rude to her. I now issue your punishment, its two part as you committed two separate trespasses. The first part is that for the next week you will wait hand and foot on Rain the Werewolf and see to her every need. If you so much as make one less then respectful comment to her or if I hear you bitch once, I will see to it that you need to spend more than a week in Bunnies' care while you painfully regenerate every bone in your arms and legs and you heal a shattered jaw. The second punishment is for violating the rules set forth for this exercise. You will spend every waking moment of the next week, minus when you are waiting on Rain; scrubbing, waxing, buffing and polishing every square inch of the Blue Typhoon, inside and out, until I can see my reflection in any surface and eat off the floor without fear of getting sick. You're also grounded for the duration of your punishment. Rules exist for a reason and, though I admire your sharp mind, the rules need to be followed. Am I clear!?"

"Absolutely clear," Chase squeaked out.

"Good, now GET OUT OF MY SIGHT," the enraged Werefox growled. Chase scrabbled away as fast as he could as Snow looked around for the first time. He noticed all of the tribe members that were in the area, except for Tails and Starlight, were all face up on the ground with their throats and stomachs exposed in a show of submission. Lips curling in a silent snarl, Snow stalked off in the direction of the ship and his quarters, doing his best to ignore the fact that every tribe mate he past immediately dropped to the ground in a submissive pose, again minus the beautiful female Werehog who dogged his every step.

On the Blue Typhoon II

Bunnie and Vanilla looked on as Cora once again hoisted Cream into the air to pin up one side of the banner while her faithful Chao Cheese pinned up the other. "They're back," Swift called out as he dashed in, "and Snow is completely enraged for some reason." Upon hearing that, Cora immediately set the young doe down and shivered.

"What's wrong Cora," Vanilla asked, "why did you set my daughter down before she'd finished hanging the banner?" Before the grey wolf could respond a wave of power unlike any she'd ever felt passed over her. She wasn't fazed by it but she watched as the wave smacked into every Were in the room and they collapsed, looking very weak and submissive. She glanced at the door as the snowy teen she'd helped her sister and the Acorn princess raise passed by with an unfazed female Werehog in tow, looking more pissed off than she'd ever seen him. Once he'd passed she heard a sigh of relief as all of the people from the Were Tribe in the room rose to their feet.

Cora shook his head, "Damn that was a really rough one."

"Oh mah stars," Bunnie exclaimed, "who set suga-Snow off so bad?!"

"Sorry about that everyone," Tails called from the doorway, "I'm not going to tell you anything more than to look for the person scrubbing the decks and bulkheads and you'll figure out who set him off." He then took off and headed for his room and a warm shower.

"What was that rush of power anyway," Cream asked, "I've never felt anything like that emanating off of Snow before! Can you tell me Mister Cora?"

"That was the power of an extremely dominant Alpha," the werewolf explained, "there are three different types of Were. Those types are dominant, submissive and the final is a bit of a mix. We refer to those types as Dominant, Omega and Submissive. There is another type within those, a fourth type, we call them Alphas. Alphas are pack leaders and the tribal leaders. As for how it all plays out in the Were Tribe's structure, they are ranked as follows: Alpha, Dominant and Submissive."

"You left out Omega's, Mister Cora," the preteen doe observed.

Cora chuckled, "There's a reason I did that. Omega's are part of the tribe and can do whatever they wish within the tribe but are outside the normal structure. Alpha's are the most dominant were's in the tribe and are responsible for the safety of all others. Dominants have the same drive as an Alpha to protect tribe mates and see to the safety of the tribe, but to a lesser degree. Submissives are the heart of the tribe and over whom every Alpha and Dominant is very protective. Finally, Omega's are neither dominant nor submissive. They have the protective drive of an Alpha but the gentleness of a submissive. Even though Omega's are like the dominant Alpha, dominants are able to truly relax around them because they won't challenge any dominant or Alpha. They are also the only ones, aside from an equally dominant were, who are unaffected by the power of an alpha."

"Can you give me a few examples of each type of were," Cream asked in evident awe.

"Sure," the wolf replied as he ruffled her hair, "I'll name two people who fit each one of those. Snow and Tails are examples of Alphas, Swift and I are examples of Dominants, Doug and Rain are examples of Submissives and Bunnie and Starlight are examples of Omegas."

"How is it possible for Doug and Rain to be in training as tribal warriors but also be submissive," Vanilla asked in confusion.

"Easy," Bunnie answered her sister, "submissives aren't doormats. Submissives are gentle but will fight if they feel it necessary to do so."

"Okay, but that is still vague as far as descriptions go," the beautiful young rabbit frowned.

"Best that we can give to anyone who isn't a member of the tribe," Cora stated.

"Sis," Vanilla queried, "you never did tell me how you ended up in the Were Tribe?"

"Well Nilla," the southern wererabbit replied, "most members of the tribe are born as Were's. There are some exceptions to that. It's possible to be turned into one by either the blood of one getting into an open wound or being bitten, usually it's by force or, as in my case, by choice. Why don't we get back to getting things ready?" The others nodded and went back to their preparations.

As they continued Cream suddenly let out a pained yelp, "Owie! Aunt Bunnie!" The southern belle came over and took the hand her niece held out.

"That's a nasty one sweetie," Bunnie declared as she examined the deep gash on the trembling rabbit's hand, "it'll be okay though. I know a way we can get it cleaned right up. Cora, be a dear and go fetch Miles, er, I mean Prince Tails for me?"

"Yes ma'am," he replied while darting out the door.

"Once he returns suga-Tails should be able to fix that hand of yours up quicker than a greased hog can slip through your hands," she said to Cream soothingly. The rabbit nodded and smiled at her.

Snow had finally made it to his quarters and went inside, shutting the door in Starlight's face. She turned around and sat momentarily with a sigh. "What am I doing," the hedgette muttered, "I was supposed to merely seduce him, get him to want me so he'll stay with the tribe and not think of leaving after this. Pyra assured me that all would work right, but not only have I captured his heart, he's snared mine. I need to talk to someone." The Werehog chewed on her lip thoughtfully, trying to figure out who she could talk to. Having made a decision she stood and headed down the hall.

On Planet Doom

Fiona quickly slipped back into her chains, slightly flustered but happy that she'd found out this piece of information. "Anything good on this trip Fi," Blaze asked.

"Really good," the sleek crimson furred vixen replied as she dropped her warrior form and rebound her twin tails so they looked like one before slipping her hands back through their restraints, "turns out we aren't the only captives. There are others here and no idea yet as to where he keeps them. All of the others are kinnetics like Blaze, one name in the list caught my interest because of the fact that it makes me think he's glacialkinnetic like Snow."

"You're right," a female voice interjected, "I am a glacialkinnetic and I'd be more careful about who sees you when you sneak around. Not everyone is as disloyal to Black Doom as I am."

"Point taken," Fiona said with a grin, "I'm Fiona the Werefox, Apprentice Hunter of the Were Tribe and protégé of Snow the Werefox."

"I'm Tara," the she-wolf replied, "but my only friend from the orphanage I was kidnapped from called me Frost."

"How old were you and what orphanage," the red vixen inquired.

"I was four years old when I was kidnapped and it was the Acorn Royal Orphanage in Mobotropolis that I was taken from," Frost answered, "I was taken in the midst of the chaos of Robotnik's hostile takeover."

"That was ten years ago," the Werefox exclaimed, "that means you're fourteen now. Wait did you say the Acorn Royal Orphanage!?"

"Yes," the wolf said in puzzlement, "why do you ask?"

"Because," Fiona replied, "that's where Snow says he was at when Robotnik took over the Acorn Kingdom."

"I don't remember any foxes there by the name of Snow," Frost stated, "in fact, there was only one fox there. His name was Nova Prower. He was left on the doorstep of the orphanage the day after me and my twin were. Nova was the only kid there that didn't pick on me. He was my best and only friend, don't know what happened in all of the chaos that ensued but I wish I did. I miss him." She looked forlorn and down.

"I can tell you what happened to him," the red vixen replied, "I know the story of that fox. He has a twin brother named Miles Prower, who he found when he made it to Knothole and chose to hide it. He kinda attached himself to and was raised by Princess Sally Acorn and her friends Bunnie Rabbot and Vanilla Rabbit. He also came to look up to a black and red hedgehog named Shadow and started calling him his big brother. When he was six he was allowed by Sally to join the Knothole Freedom Fighters and helped end Robotnik's tyranny. By the time he was eight he had joined the Sonic Heroes and became a hero as he faced down the Black Arms, the Metarex, petty tyrants, an evil genius named Ivo Eggman and helped defeat other various evils like the Bio Lizard, the Suppression Squad and the evil god Solaris."

"Wow," the wolf said as she sat stunned at Fiona's feet, "he became everything I'd ever thought he would. Wait, I saw the news reports and listened to Black Doom rant and rave about the two kitsune Snow and Tails who'd sent him packing. Are you saying that Nova is..."

"Yes," Fiona cut in, "Nova Prower is Snow and Tails isn't just another fox he met. Tails is his twin Miles."

Frost jumped up excitedly, "Do you know where he is now?"

"Yes," she answered, "he's now known as Snow the Werefox and he's coming here. Fighting his way through Arms territory with his brother, friends and others from the Were Tribe to face down Black Doom and defeat him once and for all."

"Wait, if he's called Snow the Werefox," the icy wolf mused, "then does that mean he's become a Werefox?" Fiona nodded. Frost thought it over and then declared, "I want to join the tribe then. I don't have any friends other than him and I'd hate to lose that friendship. How do you become a were?"

"There are two ways, and I can do both easily," Fiona responded immediately, "in order to become a werewolf, you must either be bitten by someone who is already a were. The other way is for the blood of a were to get into an open wound."

She seemed to consider for a moment before saying, "Being bitten sounds painful. If I had a choice I'd prefer the open wound method. Can you hide the change from others?"

The fox nodded, "Once you've changed for the first time and have learned how to control the change, unless it's a full moon you can change when you want. Can you stand guard at the door and give me a moment to send a message to Snow? I need to seek his permission if your mind is set on becoming a Werewolf. I have to have the permission of either the Chief, the Chieftess or one of the Princes in order to turn someone or my life is forfeit." The wolf nodded and moved to stand guard by the door.

On Blue Typhoon II

Starlight stopped in front of her destination and knocked on the door. "Come in," an authorative feminine voice called out. She stepped in and closed the door behind her. "Ah," the dark grey she wolf lounging on the bed said happily, "Starlight, my favorite Werehog. What can I do for you?"

"I need someone to talk to Lupe," the Werehog responded. Lupe, leader of the Wolf Pack Freedom Fighters had become her best friend during the voyage, they were the same age and sometimes it was hard to tell if they were sisters or just best friends.

"Sure," Lupe replied as she sat up and patted the bed next to her, "what's wrong girl? You look as if Snow sent you packing with a flea in your ear."

"I wish," she mumbled as she sat, "If he'd done that then I wouldn't be here. I'm really confused and hope you could help set me straight. There was an ulterior motive in Aero and Pyra introducing me to Snow. I was supposed to get him to fall for me and, when he turned fourteen, get him to claim me as his mate."

"So," the wolf growled, "you were introduced to him by your leaders in the hope that you'd be able to earn his affection and gain control of him so they could use you to manipulate him?"

"Yes," Star said, sadness, guilt and shame in her voice, "but it's more complicated than that."

"How so," Lupe inquired, steel blue eyes softening and alight with curiosity. She could tell something was seriously bothering her friend.

"They never meant for what's happened to happen," the thirteen year old hedgette answered whimsically, "they didn't intend for me to actually fall in love with him."

"Really," she exclaimed happily, "good for you girl. That fox is certainly a catch, but why does it bother you?"

"Because, I'm supposed to be loyal to the tribe and its leaders," Starlight whined. She then told her friend about the curse, the dark being, the reason people like Snow were turned, what happens when someone who is turned mates with someone born in the tribe and what Pyra swore she'd do if Starlight changed up and refused to play along.

"Wow," Lupe frowned, "so, what do you think you should do about it? Could you honestly let the fox down?"

Star shook her head, "No, I love him too much, but I also can't hurt him. That fox isn't just handsome, he let me crash in his quarters one night last week while I was hiding because I was in my first heat and guys wouldn't quit trying to court me. He slept next to me and helped me keep guys away when it got rough, as well as spooned with me at my request to help me get off when I couldn't. Any who, I wound up being woke up in the midst of that night to feeling something poking me in the rear. I rolled over and looked down; only to find out he was aroused. My god that fox is hung and I mean hung. I couldn't help but measure him as he slept, he's a good thirteen or fourteen inches and, seeing as I couldn't resist helping him rub one off, nice and thick. I'd honestly love to do more than paw him off."

"Nice," her friend exclaimed, "so he let you sleep in his bed and helped you get off but didn't try to get in your... Loincloth?"

"We were both actually naked and he didn't try and have his way with me," the hedgehog replied, "he did nothing more than spoon with me when I asked. He's a real gentleman, and romantically sweet." Star let out a sigh before continuing, "I'd really hate to hurt him. Maybe I should stop showing interest in him and ask him to, for both our sakes, to settle for just fri..." She didn't get to finish as her friend had slapped her hard enough to rattle her teeth. "What the hell was that for," Starlight demanded as she rubbed her jaw.

"I slapped you for two reasons," Lupe replied, eyes alight with fire, "the first is because you needed a reality check and second, to remind you that if you don't go and stake your claim right here and now, you'll be extremely hurt when someone else snares him. Now, if what Tails told me is true, when a Werefox is enraged, and Snow is, he's only able to be calmed by three things blood, sex and Omegas. He likes you and would probably take the sex part if you offered it, but you're also an omega. Now, let's get you ready to stake your claim honey." The wolf took her friends hand and led her into the bathroom and went to work. After a little bit, Lupe had Starlight shining like a rare gem. "You look gorgeous girlfriend," the teen wolf gushed, "you'll have him eating out of your palm in an instant." The purple hedgehog blinked gratefully and left her friend's room.

Starlight finally reached Snow's room and frowned when she saw Chase getting ready to knock on the door, "What the fuck are you up to?"

He hesitated and said, "I'm going to challenge Snow for leadership."

"No you're not," the hedgette said with a glare, "if you want to challenge him you'll have to fight me first. I'll challenge anyone for the right to challenge him for leadership."

"I won't fight a female," the white werewolf frowned.

"Then back down and leave," Starlight growled, "because the only way you're getting to him is thru me!"

"That isn't what Aero and Pyra asked of you," Chase said, narrowing his eyes.

Star shifted to were and growled, "I don't give a shit what Aero and Pyra want anymore! After what I do here tonight, that fox will be MINE so, if you want to get to him, then you WILL fight me!"

"This isn't over bitch," Chase growled as he stalked off.

"So," a voice growled from Snow's now open doorway, "what is it that you're supposed to be doing at Aero and Pyra's request?"

The attractive hedgehog shifted as she spun, only to see Snow glaring at her, "May I come in and I'll tell you." The fox nodded and stepped aside, allowing her to walk in and sit on his bed. She patted the bed next to her and waited for him to sit before telling him everything that Aero and Pyra ordered her and about the curse.

"So," the teenaged Todd said slowly, "Aero and Pyra wanted you to gain my trust and then seduce me, so they would be able to control me?" She nodded slowly. "Then I'm guessing something happened that they didn't count on," Snow mused, before turning his sky blue eyes on her, for which she was really happy that she was sitting, "what is it that's thrown a wrench in their plans?"

"What's happened is simple," Starlight blushed, "I fell in love with you. I still intend to mate with you, but nobody will control you through me." The fox stared at her, stunned. Smiling, she let down her quills, removed her chest wrap and loincloth, then stretched herself out on the bed.

Lemon Alert

(If you aren't old enough for this please skip down to where it says 'End Lemon')

"Well," the hedgehog said with a smile, "will you take me as mate or leave me."

"Mine," Snow growled as he stripped off his loincloth and stared at her, eyes wild with hunger and raw emotion. He climbed onto the bed, after using his Chaos Crystal to magically seal the door, and got on top of her. "From here out you are mine, nobody else's," the wild fox declared.

"I am yours and you are mine," she responded, equally wild, eyes full of the same hunger but love as well. Snow nodded his agreement and pressed his lips against hers. She moaned and pressed herself against him as he entered her, causing him to break thru her virgin wall and shove all thirteen inches in her. She cried out in pain and pleasure in the same breath. He stared down and her in wonder. Frustrated that he wasn't moving, Starlight growled and wrapped her legs around him, flipping to where she was on top. Using his momentary surprise to her advantage, she began to ride him wildly, moaning the entire time. "God Snow, your massive, ahhhh," she moaned fifteen minutes later, still riding him like a prized stallion, "I'm so full, mmm, so close. AHHH!" Feeling the pressure build up inside herself, she slammed her hips down against his, clenched her muscles and screamed, "I'M CUMMING, OH GOD SNOW, AAAHHHHHH!" She threw her head back and howled at the top of her lungs as wave after wave of intense pleasure racked her body. Snow groaned and gripped her hips as the pressure became too much for him and he exploded inside her, howling as he filled her with his seed.

End Lemon

After a few minutes Starlight collapsed bonelessly onto Snow. The fox rolled to his side, careful not to trap her leg under his, and held her to him. "I love you Starlight," he murmured as he gently ran his fingers through her quills. After a few moments the snowy kitsu rolled onto his back and silently released the chaos energy he'd used to seal his door. With a happy sigh, the beautiful hedgette readjusted so she could snuggle up to him, using his fluffy and soft chest fur as a pillow.

As her eyes slowly closed Star whispered, "I love you too, Snow the Werefox." Snow listened to her breathing and let the melodic beating of her heart lull him into dreamland, smiling the entire time.

Bunnie looked at the decor and nodded in satisfaction, Tails had taken Cream away and had allowed her to keep him company as he went about his business. "Well, everyone," Bunnie drawled, "I do believe we are ready to surprise them. Anyone want to go and fetch Snow and Tails?"

"I'll go and get Snow," Lupe replied quickly, "I know where he is."

"That was a little quick," Cora said suspiciously, "what're you hiding?"

"Nothing, you don't ask the right questions," the wolf grinned, "and you don't get the right answers."

"Okay then," the exasperated werewolf growled, "who is with Snow right now and is he calmed down yet?"

"A beautiful young purple Werehog," Lupe grinned, "and if he wasn't calm when she got there, he is by now."

"Hell no, she didn't," Cora groaned, "Please tell me that Starlight didn't just go to see that fox while he was enraged to calm him down."

"She's an omega," the attractive grey lupine shot back, "she can't ignore instinct anymore than you can."

"Yes, but this instinctive move will lead to ruin," he replied fiercely. Lupe wasn't listening, as she was already out the door. Cora chuckled and shook his head, "She should consider becoming a werewolf. She's tenacious, cunning, sneaky, everything a werewolf should be."

Lupe stopped at the door to Snow's quarters with a grin, 'I love getting that werewolf's hackles up. It's so much fun! Though I love getting at Chase even more.' Her grin widened at the thought of riling him up and decided she would do just that tonight, if she could convince the snowy kitsune on the other side of the door to let him come near again. She knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Who's there," Starlight called out groggily.

"It's me girlfriend, may I come in," the she-wolf called out. She felt someone's eyes on her and turned to look, only to see Chase peering around the corner, eyes full of raw hunger. She smiled, winked and shook her hips before turning her back and giving him a good view of her backside.

"Sure," Snow said as he opened the door, "come on in, you're always a welcome visitor Lupe."

"I need you two to come with me," Lupe said as she walked in, "but first I want to discuss something with you."

"Sure," the white fox replied, "what can I do for you?"

"I want to leave the Freedom Fighters and join you and Starlight," she replied, use to the fox's uncanny ability to cut to the meat of things.

"You wish to be turned," the purple Werehog said happily.

"Yes," Lupe answered, "I know that you guys usually initiate those who make the choice to be turned on the next full moon after they ask. I also know that tonight is the full moon, will you accept me into the tribe and into your pack?" Snow looked up and then walked over to his closet. After digging a little, the kitsu threw the wolf a chest wrap and loincloth.

"The only thing you need to decide is who will initiate you," he continued, "it has to be someone well respected and who isn't an apprentice. You'll also need to choose a new name. We are reborn when we change, our old lives washed away." He let her think while she changed and stood still as he placed a mark on each cheek, her right arm and her left thigh in yellow paint.

"I'd like you to be the one to initiate me," she replied, "I'd say my friend Starlight but she's still an apprentice. As for my name, I'd like to be Lupe the Werewolf." Snow nodded, wrapped his tails around Starlight's waist and left the room, guided by the new initiate.

The trio met with Tails and Cream, who was also dressed as an initiate of the tribe. "She's asked me to be her initiation sponsor and chosen the name Cream the Wererabbit. Is this okay," Tails asked.

"Yeah bro," Snow replied, "it's cool, Lupe asked the same of me. Don't forget that we have the full moon ceremony to lead as well."

"I haven't forgotten," the yellow Todd said with a nod. The five walked into the dark room.

"SURPRISE," everyone shouted as the lights came on in the cavernous hangar, "HAPPY FOURTEENTH BIRTHDAY SNOW AND TAILS!" The fox twins looked at one another with surprise then walked into the room.

"Thanks everyone," the twins said, obviously overcome with emotion.

"I'm sorry for earlier," Chase said coming up, "I shouldn't have let emotion override my better judgment."

"No," Snow replied, "you shouldn't have, but I'll forgive you this once." The wolf let out a sigh of relief, until the fox finished his remark, "Oh, but if you ever get the balls to challenge me for dominance again, remember this: if you fight me, you better come prepared to kill. When you challenge me to a dominance fight its kill or be killed. If you ever come in expecting me to submit then you're dead already. The pack bonds showed me your intent, so be careful with that." The fox then projected his voice to the rest of the people present, "I would like to say how impressed I am with this and with how hard all of you have trained! I would like to give the Sonic Heroes and the Freedom Fighters a rare treat! Tonight, Tails and I will be leading our tribe mates in the full moon ceremony and wish to extend an invitation to you to come and join us!" Everyone cheered and the revelry started, except for a werewolf, four tigers and a lynx. Snow noticed them and walked over, "Uncle Cora, what's wrong?"

"Are you addle brained," Cora answered back, "or did you just forget that Starlight is tribe born when you dove between her spread legs while you were pissed and mated with her!?" The fox refused to answer and opted to look at the other five, eyebrow raised in question.

"I wish to join the tribe," the golden furred female lynx replied.

"Very well," Snow responded, "who would you like to sponsor your initiation Nicole?" She looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Tails," Nicole responded, "if he is willing." The white fox tugged on his link to his brother.

"What's up bro, Nikki," the fox asked as he walked up. Snow noticed the lynx turn beet red and smiled.

"Nicole wishes to join the tribe and wants you to be her sponsor," he replied with a flick of his four tails.

"I agree," Tails grinned.

Snow turned his gaze on the other four and said, "Let me guess you four as well?" They nodded. "What are your names and who do you wish to declare as sponsor?"

"I'm Donta Tigrara of the Nomad Freedom Fighters," the male tiger responded, "and I'd like you to sponsor me." Snow nodded his acceptance.

"I am Matea Donatora of the Nomad Freedom Fighters and I'd like for either you or Tails to be my sponsor," the first female white tiger answered. The foxes looked at one another, and then Tails nodded in acceptance.

"I'm Mona Donatora of the Nomad Freedom Fighters," the second female white tiger responded, "and I'd like Cora to sponsor me." The wolf looked startled and then nodded his agreement.

"You may call me Alexis Prime," the final female, also a white tiger said bluntly, "I'm a member of the Rainforest Freedom Fighters and I'd like your sexy ass to sponsor me." Snow blushed and nodded, she certainly was attractive, and how could he refuse?

"I know you're a necro Mona," Snow stated, "I'm willing to accept you into the tribe, but you'll have to earn every ounce of trust you get. Were's and Necromancers don't get along. They have a bad habit of bringing back what we kill so we have to waste the time and effort to kill them again."

"I'm fully aware," Mona replied, "but I'm still willing." The fox nodded and smiled.

One Hour Later

"Well," Snow said, "this party has been fun, but I need the following people to come with me: Starlight the Werehog, Bunnie the Wererabbit, Amy Rose, Tails the Werefox, Lupe Wolf, Swift the Werehog, Doug the Weredog, Rain the Werewolf, Shadow, Chase the Werewolf, Dark the Werefox and Chris Thorndyke." The white fox watched with impatience as the ten he called for gathered to him with confused expressions. He said nothing and led them to the hangar. Once there, he turned to face them with a smile, "I've talked with my fellow division leaders. On their word, the twelve of you have been selected for a special mission that we'll leave on as soon as you're ready. No details will be divulged until we're underway. I've got special equipment as planes for all of you. You're the best we have and this will probably not be as easy as I hope. Now, go get ready. Nicole is awaiting all of you in the armory; she'll see all of you are properly outfitted. Dismissed!" The fox walked over to an area the was closed off and pressed his hand to the scanner. It beeped once and he opened the door, making sure to close it securely behind him. He reached over and hit the switch by the door, the lights all came on, revealing blackboards covered in blueprints and bits and pieces of unfinished tech. The white vulpine walked over to one of the tables and picked up a box, which immediately folded out into a handgun. He sighted along it and took aim at the target further down and pulled the trigger. The gun discharged silently and the fox smiled with satisfaction as the center of the target exploded. Nodding, the fox set the gun down and watched as it refolded. He then walked over to a door and opened it up, revealing rows of various gender and size lightweight armor, complete with helmets. Walking over to a matte black armor with a solid icy blue stripe running from left shoulder to left wrist, he slipped out of his clothing and accessories before putting on the body armor and grabbing the helmet off the shelf above it. He put the helmet on and transformed, hoping he'd gotten it right this time. The armor shifted with him and he let out a triumphant yip. He had been trying to develop a combat suit that anyone in the Tribe could use (in or out of Wereform) for the better part of the last six year and was pleased that he'd finally succeeded! He was happy as he returned to normal and grabbed down the suit's he'd made that would belong to Bunnie, Rain, Chase, Swift, Doug, Dark, Tails and Starlight, especially her. He then walked out into the main area, set down the armors neatly and walked to the comm panel on the wall. He hit the button and said, "Tails, gather the other seven from the tribe who are coming with us and bring them to my lab just off the hangar, I'll leave the door slightly ajar so you guys can get in."

"What's this about bro," his brother inquired curiously.

"You'll find out when you get here," he told him before cutting the connection. The fox moved over to the door and popped it so that the door was slightly open. He then walked over and stood to where the view of the armor was blocked and waited. He didn't have to wait for long as the door opened, revealing the ones he'd asked for. With a motion, he urged them in and made sure Tails shut the door.

"So," Starlight asked, "why did you want to see us?"

"I've spent a lot of time here in my lab and now you will see the fruits of my labor," Snow said with a grin, "I've been working on a body armor that's designed specifically for members of the tribe. This armor is as durable as the other armors I've made but has one other thing that the armor you're currently wearing don't. It expands with you as you transform. In layman's terms; this armor doesn't have to be taken off if you find the need to assume your wereform. I've also developed special lightweight and compact arsenals to go with the suits. All of the weapons are silenced and pack one helluva punch. You eight are the first ones who will get this equipment, all of it works as it should and the guns have only one special care item. They require a special clip that I've designed and when you run out of them, you'll have to come see me with the old ones and I'll replace them with new ones."

"What's so special about the clips that we have to do that," Swift asked, eyes eager.

"The clips are heat absorbers. These guns never run out of ammo because they create their own. That comes at a big cost of weapon overheat. At first I wasn't going to make these clips but then I decided that a weapon that's overheated won't fire and will need to cool before they are able to fire again. That can be very problematic; as I'm sure everyone can see, in the heat of battle. The clips are the solution I came up with for the overheating issue. You'll have to switch clips after so many shots, as if you were reloading a weapon that was out of ammo. The clips are universal for all of the weapons that you get with the armor. Each armor has a slot for the following load out: one assault rifle, one shotgun, one pistol, one submachine gun, one sniper rifle or machine gun and either a grenade launcher or portable rocket launcher. The rocket launcher and grenade launcher are the only weapons that require you to reload for ammo but on the plus side, they have high capacity clips instead of being single shot. The grenade launcher fires up to twelve grenades before reload and the rocket launcher can be fire six times before needing reloaded. You'll be issued one of each weapon, sixty heat absorbing clips and an ammo crate for each launcher. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of your own gear. Once you're in possession of it, the only thing I will do is major repairs. Most or all of you are my pilots, so I hope all of you take care of these new planes today, as they are now yours. Get suited and turn in your old gear and weapons, you won't need them anymore," Snow explained then moved aside and handed the armor to the proper person before handing everyone their weapons and enough ammunition for the heavy ordinance they selected for the mission ahead. The fox then lead them out to the hangar. Everyone else was already there waiting for them. Upon seeing the tribe's people who had been brought in on this mission. "Alright everyone ready," the fox asked. When nobody spoke up, he finished, "Everyone will have a wing mate for this mission, once I call out your pairings mount up and get airborne. The pairings are as follows: Shadow the Hedgehog and Amy Rose, Doug the Weredog and Rain the Werewolf, Chase the Werewolf and Lupe Wolf, Tails the Werefox and Chris Thorndyke, Dark the Werefox and Swift the Werehog. Starlight and Bunnie you're with me." Everyone scrambled to their planes and taxied to the elevator, heading for the skies.

'What the fuck is that fox up to,' Chase thought with a growl as he followed the teen she-wolf who was a virtual torment to him, 'hell, why is he even bringing me along!? I know he doesn't trust me so what's his angle?' He certainly didn't understand Werefoxes, hell he didn't understand that particular fox for sure.

Planet Doom

Fiona smiled as the ice blue bird landed on her shoulder; she slipped her right hand out of the shackle and touched it. "Thanks for the Intel as always Red," Snow's voice rang out, "I think it's time for a surprise for Doom, this should be a serious bell-ringer for his over gloating ass. Tell Frosty Frost I said hi. We're preparing for a big surprise so keep you're head up. Tell Blaze and Ariel to hang in there and we'll free you guys soon." She noticed that their new ally was staring at her.

"That was Snow," the red vixen grinned, "he didn't say anything about you becoming like us but he did give me some things to relay to you guys."

"Really," Frost exclaimed in astonishment, she didn't think the fox remembered her, "what were his messages."

"First, to Blaze and Ariel, our fox friend said to keep your spirits up and that freedom is coming very soon," She glanced at them casually.

"How can you be so sure," Ariel replied, doubt evident in her voice, "are you privy to something you've not told us?"

"I say we keep a lid on it," Blaze snarked, pulling the white ribbon out of her lilac hair before shaking it out. Though she was dirty and rail thin, the ribbon was still in the same condition it had been in the day he'd handed it to her. She brought the fabric to her nose and breathed in deeply. Being a Werecat enhanced her sense of smell, as she breathed in the scents on it she isolated the scent she wanted: fresh snow, evergreen, pine and mint all mixed into one. As she breathed in, her heart raced wildly, this unique combination was the scent signature of the one person she loved above all else: Snow the Werefox. She thought back to the day he gave it to her, the day they left Westopolis Woods...

Flashback (Blaze POV)

We had just been given the clothing we were supposed to change into before we continued our journey. "Remember my words," Snow said with a serious expression, "I will make sure we get to our new home safely ladies. I swear it to you, to all of you. No matter where you end up, no matter if someone takes you, I will find you and those who are responsible will pay dearly for it. To me, you are family and I always protect those I consider mine." I looked into his icy gaze and smiled, feeling the same warmth I had felt since I got to know him. I nodded imperceptibly and turned to head for where he had sent me to change, the others following suit mutely. Suddenly the white fox grabbed my arm, stopping me.

"What is it Snow," I asked him curiously.

"I have something for you," he said tenderly, his ice blue eyes warm, "consider it a gift that may mean something more in the future." He then reached to the back of his loincloth and his hand reappeared, holding a white ribbon, holding it out to me.

"Thank you Snow," I replied happily, "I will always cherish this."

"As I said," Snow grinned, "I always protect those I consider mine, especially you."

End Flashback (End Blaze POV)

Blaze smiled and noticed the wolf looking at her, "Sorry, I spaced for a moment."

"No worries," the she-wolf replied, "what else did Snow say?"

Fiona looked right at her, "He had one other personal message and it was for you. He said, and I quote, 'Tell Frosty Frost I said hi.' Looks like he still remembers you, even after ten years. Other than that he said they were about to pull something that is really going to chap Black Dooms ass." The others looked thoughtful then two of the three other teens frowned. "Oh shit," she exclaimed as she realized what Blaze and Ariel had, "that fox is going to storm this place and rescue us!"

"You're joking right," Tara asked, "I mean, this place is a fortress from hell! You've seen how well defended this place is, I know you have!"

"That fox is just crazy enough to pull something like this," the red vulpine grinned, "come to think of it, so is his brother Tails." The thought of that made her smile widely.

On Approach to Planet Doom

"Alright everyone," Snow said, all business, "from here we hit the surface and land in a remotely secure location. We know roughly where they're being held but once we land, I'll see to it that we know exactly where once we're dirt side. One of the people he's been holding captive for ten years now is a friend of mine from my days in the Acorn Royal Orphanage. The reason for there being thirteen of us is because there are thirteen of them. Let's get to the dirt so I can contact Fiona and have her send this person to us."

"Does this contact have a name bro," Tails inquired.

"I don't remember her real name," the Todd replied, "The only name I remember is the nickname I gave her. I called her Frost; she's a wolf and is glacialkinnetic like me."

"Wait," Rain blurted, "what's your real name?"

"That doesn't matter right now," Snow replied as he tipped the nose of the Snowstorm Mark II towards the planet. Once they were all on the ground he hopped out and touched his pendant, muttered a few sentences and made a sweeping gesture. A bird made of pure ice blue energy appeared and shot off. "I've sent it off," he told them, "While we wait for Frost, I want all of you to hide the planes. Know this; we aren't leaving here without all of the captives. Even if that means we have to knock them out and drag them out of here. Am I clear on this?"

"Yes sir," Starlight replied immediately. Once he and his team were on the ground, Snow touched his pendant and muttered something, sending his ice blue messenger bird on its way. While they waited, Snow walked the clearing while the others got the planes secured and rigged the camouflage they'd put together. A noise brought his attention to the tree to his right.

"Who's there," he barked, pulling his assault rifle off his back and checking the load indicator on his helmet's HUD to be sure a round was chambered. He immediately lowered the gun when the icy she-wolf stepped into view. "Frosty Frost," the Werefox grinned, "long time no see."

"Fiona wasn't joking," Frost said, a grin spreading, "good to see you again Nova Prower, my snowy friend."

"Nova Prower," Rain said as she walked up, "I shoulda known it was you when you immediately agreed to help me find my sister."

"Well," the blue she-wolf frowned, "what you're here to do isn't going to be easy but I did accomplish part of it for you." As she finished Fiona, Blaze and Ariel walked into the clearing.

"That made one part easy," Snow quipped, "welcome back Fiona, Blaze and Ariel. There is one thing we can accomplish right now. I wish to extend an invitation to you guys to join my pack."

"You lead a pack now," Blaze exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes," the snowy fox replied, "it's called the Blades. Tails is my second even though there is another person in the pack that isn't an Apprentice."

"How is that even possible," Fiona asked curiously.

"Snow leading a pack isn't the only thing that's changed," Tails stated as his brother and himself removed their helmets, letting the girls see the green marks on their faces.

"You're the tribe's princes," Ariel breathed in awe. The fox twins nodded.

"We would be glad to join your pack Prince Snow," Blaze stated, grinning.

"Very well," Snow replied, with a blush, "but please, drop the Prince crap, I don't care for it." Blaze nodded. "Well," the fox continued, "we'll conduct the joining later but right now we need to plan the rest of this operation. With you springing the girls, it's going to be harder to extract the rest of the captives. Black Doom is likely on high alert now."

"The others are completely loyal to him," Frost stated, "they won't come with us."

"Very well," the fox replied, "they don't have a choice. I'm ordering the use of tranq rounds now. All nine of the other captives are to be tranquilized and secured. Once this is accomplished, we will return here to extract and return to base. Don't any of you do anything stupid, we have thirteen planes and no need to leave one behind. Blaze, Fiona, Ariel and Frost: I've got hardware for all of you. Let's get moving, stealth is the word guys."

"Yes sir," everyone replied. Frost and Snow took point and lead them to the secret entrance. It was guarded now but the Glacialkinnetic duo grinned at each other and froze the two unsuspecting grunts with a flick of their hand. The two high fived and all of them entered. Frost had given them a tactical map of the place and everyone split up to their designated assignments and targets. Snow and Frost walked through the place until they reached a door.

"I was hoping our lord was kidding," the sienna furred hedgehog said as the two entered, "but it looks like I get to roast you now."

"Sorry Scorch," Frost replied, "but you're coming with us now." She then shot him in the chest four times.

"Remind me never to threaten you," Snow observed dryly as he watched the unconscious hedgehog drop to the ground. The she-wolf merely grinned as the fox hefted their captive. They met back up with the gang and frowned.

"Nice of you to come here," Black Doom said, "but now it's time for you to die! Kill them all!"
