Mace: *Looks into purse as well* What the hell?! There's got to be at least a million pokédollars in here!

Chapter 8: Old Friends Unite Part 2!
Keith's Pov
Kate and I were in one of the trees close to the front gates. After our conversation about the Hunters, Kate changed into her Mewman form and flew us down to this tree that had the perfect view of the area. Lucky for us, no-one noticed where we were, I think. I still can't believe that there are humans who hunt and kill Mewmans for money. That is low and so unforgivable! I could only imagine how Kate feels having her people taken or killed. I turned my attention to the people below us to see what the situation was.
There are five people, four guys and one girl. They all wore black jeans, black combat boots and black trench coats with hoods. I couldn't see what they look liked because they all had their hoods up, covering their faces in the shadow of their hood except for their mouths. There are two that stood out from the group, there was a tall man with silver cuffs on his sleeve and a large silver 'X' on the back. No-one else had that 'X' on their back or silver cuffs like that, so I guess he's the leader.
The second person of the group surprised me the most. She was smaller than the rest and looked just about my age from my point of view. She had a small silver chain that hung from her belt and a silver cross around her neck. I looked back to the leader and saw that he had the same cross around his neck, partly hidden by the trench coat. I looked at Kate and saw her clenching her teeth and her tail shaking along with her hands in rage.
I turned to the direction she was looking at and was shocked with what I saw. Ivy was in some sort of small cage but instead of iron bars, it made of some sort of glass with a small snow storm in them! Ivy just growled on the spot, unable to do anything else. Next to the cage was Rosie on the ground, her legs and arms are covered in ice, making her vulnerable and she can't escape.
I quickly took Kate's hand into my own and looked at her, trying to convince Kate that everything will be alright. She let out a sigh, stopped shaking and then we turned our attention back to the Hunters below us.
"Boss, why the hell are we still in this dump? We got the Mewman girl, let's get out of here." said one of the men in the group. When the man with the 'X' glared at the man, he shivered and backed away from the leader.
"Why are we even here in the first place? This girl is too weak to go through all this trouble. There better be a good reason!" said the second man. The girl looked at the second man and stepped towards Rosie.
"Even though she is useless, she is a Mewman. She also has some good points, for example her little brother is rumoured to be the next Titan of the Grass Types. Take her for ransom and the guy is ours. Take her life and get every one of us killed. You're choice." said the girl while she pulled Rosie to her feet by her hair. Rosie let out a whimper of pain when the girl pulled too hard.
"If that's the case then we should get out of here now!" said the third guy with impatience.
"I heard from a source that there is a special Dragon type Mewman here. This one is a survivor of that Mewman town we destroyed years ago and is the son of the previous Dragon-type Titan/Legend. He'll be worth a lot of money when we get our hands on him. It just so happens that this girl is a friend of his." said the leader with a smirk.
"It might take a while till he gets here, so let's just have some fun. Right?" said the girl before she punched Rosie in the stomach. I winced when I heard Rosie cry in pain. I saw that Kate was at her limit with the patience. When she was about to jump out the tree, we heard a man yell with pain and a crash.
When we looked back at the scene we saw Kellyn with a look of pure rage on his face. He had dark blue Mew ears and tail with red streaks on them. He wore a dark blue short sleeved jacket with a red muscle shirt underneath it, dark blue jeans with red stripes down the sides and red sneakers. Opposite Kellyn was one of the other men embedded into a wall, unconscious and sporting a fist shaped mark in the center of his face.
"What an entrance Mr. Alphano or should I call you by your nickname, 'Warrior of the Dragons'?" asked the leader while clapping his hands for a few seconds. Kellyn gave the leader the scariest look I had ever seen. If looks could kill, the leader would burn to ashes on the spot and be trampled by wild Tauros. As fast as I could blink Kellyn was charging towards the leader with his left hand growing into a dark blue claw. Was he about to use Dragon Claw on a human?!
Suddenly the leader dodged the attack with ease. He was so fast! Kellyn was caught by surprise for a second and the leader used this as a chance to attack Kellyn with his guard down. Kellyn saw this and counter attacked it with his tail. The force of his tail hitting the leader was so strong that it sent the leader flying to the other side of the field. The hit looked like it would finish the leader off but he just got up, spit on the ground and smirked at Kellyn. The leader charged at Kellyn while snatching his silver cross from his neck. The cross then turned into a silver dagger with blue electricity coming off it! Kellyn eyes widened and turned the skin on his arms into dark blue dragon scaled with a red tint in them and then he made a blocking position to block the stab of the dagger. When the dagger hit the scaled arms there was a huge amount of electricity flying around the two of them before it stopped. Kellyn wasn't bleeding from the hit thankfully but now both of them were trying to overpower the other with brute strength. The match was now at a stand-still and I held my breath to see what would happen next.
"Impressive, most Mewmans could never take the hit of my Shock-Dagger, they just go unconscious. You are even stronger than I thought. You might be worth more money than that weak father of yours. He's starting to lose his value over the years and you would be a perfect replacement for your father." said the leader while smirking at his opponent. Kellyn just clenched his teeth and growled at the leader while pushing back.
"Over my dead body you psychopath. I'll never let you catch me also I'll have my revenge for what you did to my home and for ruining my life!" roared Kellyn while pushing the dagger away from him. I silently cheered for Kellyn as he over powered the leader but the leader just gave Kellyn an evil smile instead of a look of fear or shock (no pun intended). What's he planning to do next?
"You are definitely like your father personality wise and in the way he fights. Last time I fought your father, he was so into the match that he forgot about the people around him." said the leader. When he finished talking the girl pulled out a pokéball and released a Mamoswine. "Mamoswine use Ice Beam!" shouted the young member. Before anyone could blink the leader jumped away from Kellyn and the Mamoswine used a powerful Ice Beam on Kellyn's back. Kellyn let out a roar of pain when the Ice Beam hit him and continued to give him pain until the Mewman was completely frozen in ice. I sat in the tree with horror and slowly felt my rage take over me. How could someone be so low and attack someone from behind their back! I was about to jump down and punch that chick suddenly my mouth was covered by a hand.
I panicked for a few seconds and thrashed around before the owner of the hand started whispering. "Stop moving idiot! I'm trying to help you guys." When the person stopped talking and took their hand off my mouth, I turned my head to see who it was. I was surprised to see Mace with a serious look on her face and Crawford behind her. Before I even blinked Crawford grabbed both Kate and I by the shoulders and transported us to the stables where we keep all the living Pokémon in the school with Mace on his back.
"What the hell are you thinking Crawford?! Kellyn, Rosie and Ivy are in danger and you transported us in here instead of helping them!" shouted Kate. She whacked Crawford's hand with her tail and paced around the small building, pondering and waiting on an answer.
"Hey, it was either this or you getting captured by the Hunters. I don't want one of my little sisters be taken away by those monsters and be sold and/or killed. You're lucky that Mace sent Chrom to tell me the situation and that I still have the Transport Ring that Mum gave me before I left Fiore." Crawford said as he held a pink ring between his left index finger and thumb.
"We could still help them! I could have fought the Hunters and save Rosie and the others!" shouted Kate.
"In case you didn't notice they beat Kellyn! He's the strongest Dragon type of our generation and he got beaten by two Hunters!" shouted Crawford with anger and fear.
"They only have Ice type Pokémon. I could take them Crawford!" shouted Kate before she started running to the entrance of the stables. I ran behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist to stop her from running.
"Kate, stop! You told me how dangerous those Hunters are and you saw what they did to Kellyn! Why are you still so determined to fight them? You'll get killed; this isn't what a Ranger would do!" I said trying to talk to her as calm as I could while desparetly trying to hold the struggling girl in my arms.
"I don't care! I have to save them! I can't lose anyone else that's important to me!" wailed Kate before she gave up and started crying. I was shocked at Kate's confession and decided to hold her until she stopped crying. When Kate calmed down she walked away from me and back to Mace and Crawford. 'Why does it suddenly feel colder?' I sadly thought before walking towards our group.
"We have to do something fast. It won't be long before the Hunters leave taking the others." I said with determination to save my friends.
"Actually, we have a lot more time because for some reason the gates won't open and all communication signals are jammed by an unknown source." said Mace with an evil smirk on her face as she pulled out several metal squares that were one inch tall from her jacket pocket.
"What the hell are those?" asked Crawford with confusion before his styler became covered in those little squares in a matter of seconds. Crawford was horrified to see his styler covered in silver and tried to take them off. Key word: TRIED! No matter how hard Crawford pulled at one square, it won't budge a centimetre.
"Like them? They're Micro Magnet and Frequency Square Units but I mostly call them 'Mag-o-Squares'. They're these small microchips that are covered with a protective metal surface. The microchips uses a radio frequency causing all signals in it's range to be blocked off. Also this has a magnet that is so strong that not even a Dragon type or any Pokémon could break through, thanks to it's protective metal layer that I created it's impossible to brake!" said Mace with a big smile on her face and her eyes shining with joy.
"That's nice but would you be as kind as to GET THESE THINGS OFF MY STYLER?!" shouted Crawford showing his styler completely covered in anything that was made of metal thanks to the squares. If it wasn't for the fact that Kellyn, Rosie and Ivy are in danger I would be laughing my ass off and taking photos with my styler's hidden camera.
Mace then walked towards Crawford and pressed a finger onto one of the squares. The next thing I knew everything that was covering Crawford's styler was on the ground and Mace was holding one of the squares.
"The only thing that could take these suckers off is Kellyn's or my fingerprints and anything connected to one of the units shuts down. Thanks to these and the gate being attack proof it'll take a lot more than some Ice Beam or brute strength to get them out of the school. We're just lucky that they brought some Ice type pokémon and not some pokémon that can fly or swim." said Mace before sitting back down.
"They can't use a pokémon that knows Dig because they don't want any evidence that they were in the school and Physic type will have a hard time transporting their master's prizes since I put one of mum's Physic type items on Kellyn and the others. Those Hunters will have a hard time getting out of the school without looking suspicious or leaving evidence for the police and rangers to find." said Crawford with a grin.
"The problem is that there must be more than just that tiny group in the area. There's bound to be more of them nearby. It won't be long before the rest come to the school to check what's going on." said Kate with worry. The stables became silent for a while until the doors were slammed against the walls and a white blob came running at Kate.
"Kate! Kate! Kate! Kate! Kate! Kate! KATE! We have a big problem! A HUGE problem! A PROBLEM SO BAD THAT IT'S THE KING OF PROBLEMS!" shouted the white blob which was actually a panicking Fro shaking Kate's shoulders. I definitely think I should stop Fro because Kate's face is TURNING GREEN!
"Fro calm down! You're killing Kate!" I shouted in a panic. When Fro froze she looked down at Kate who looked REALLY sick right now.
"KATE! What happened to you?! Who could have done this horrible thing to my best friend?!" wailed Fro as she smothered Kate in a tight embrace. 'That would be you, Fro.' I thought while looking at the crazy Ice/Ghost type pokémon.
"Crawford, we have a big problem! The Hunters know about Kate being a Mewman!" shouted Bud with worry.
"WHAT?!" shouted everyone except the Pokémon. Kate quickly got better and looked at the small Grass type Pokémon in horror.
"How did they find out so fast?!" asked Kate while she was shaking in fear. I would too if the most cruel and evil people on the planet knew my secret.
"Well they didn't really find out about Kate being a Mewman. One of the men spotted Kate before you got transported here. He only described what he saw as 'a young girl with glowing blue eyes and has Mewman ears and tail'. Thankfully the shade of that tree you were in covered you well. They don't know what your element type is or what you look like besides your eyes, Kate." said Chrom in a calm voice. I just sat there and stared at the Salamance in shock because this is the first time I heard him speak! I always thought he was a mute. Anyway back to business! I started to think of what to do with the information to help us beat the Hunters and save Kellyn, Rosie and Ivy. Then it hit me like a Thunderbolt attack.
"Guys, I have an idea! Come here." I said with confidence. Everyone huddled together to hear my plan and to make sure if there were any spies they wouldn't hear us.
"That's perfect! They'll never see it coming!" exclaimed Kate after I explained my plan.
"One problem, we need someone to be the bait." I said.
"Well, we only need three of us to help free the others. All of us have great capture skills but we need someone to be bait." said Kate with worry.
"We would need Kate because she's an Ice type Mewman and she would be brilliant against Hunter's pokémon with their Ice types." Mace said with determination.
"Keith should go as well since he has great capture skills which could be needed for that part of the plan if they use their pokémon. So it would me either Mace or I." said Crawford.
"Mace since you're a girl you can-"
"Put that type of outfit two feet near me and you'll lose that capture arm of yours, Adams." growled Mace interrupting me. I actually fear for my life when I'm around this girl and that threat made that fear even worsse. Scratch the 'She-Hulk', SHE IS A DEMON FROM HELL!
"O-O-Okay then. We have to have SOMEONE to do that job." I said still shaking in fear from the black haired (with purple highlights) she-demon. We then all turned our heads towards Crawford. Crawford looked behind him before realising we were looking at him. He had a look of fear on his face and backed away from us.
"No. No! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I will do no such thing! Kate, we're family, help your big brother out!" wailed Crawford as we walked towards him.
"Sorry Crawford but this is for the good of everyone." said Kate as she got her hands ready in order to pull off an Ice Punch attack.
"This will only last for an hour at most." I said while carrying a sack that I grabbed from Chrom (I don't know where he got it but now is not the time).
"The only thing that would be damaged would be your pride but you're willing to sacrifice it? Right?" said Mace as she smiled nicely. It was impossible for her to pull off the innocent look while she was cracking her knuckles, ready to fight back if Crawford tries to escape.
"Someone, anyone SAVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" screamed Crawford before we started to work on our plan.
Normal Pov, Front entrance
The Hunters were using all of their Pokemon to break through the gates but because of Mace's Mag-o-Squares, it was impossible to brake. Meanwhile the leader had punched one of the grunts in the face and stood above him as he was cowering on the ground.
"You mean to tell me that there is another Mewman in this pathetic school and YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" shouted the leader kicking the man. The man was looking at the leader with fear shown on his face that wasn't covered by the shadows of his hood.
"Forgive me Boss! I didn't realise she was a Mewman until I put two-and-two together. She wasn't important anyway, we got the two Mewmans we were lo-" said the man before the leader kicked him once again.
"You fool; we can't leave any witnesses alive to tell people. If normal humans find out we exist then it's over for us! Also our sole purpose as Hunters is to hunt and capture Mewmans and sometime kill them, you just let one of them get away. I should kill you now to make sure I'll never have this problem again." shouted the leader before reaching for his Shock-Dagger from around his neck.
"If we kill him now, then he'll be nothing but a dead weight to us. We already have this huge chunk of ice, the cage and the girl to slow us down, we don't want another one. Plus we don't want to leave evidence of us here now do we?" said the girl walking up to the leader from the gate. The leader growled at the girl and released his dagger from his hands.
"You are lucky that 'Noir' has come to your rescue. Next time when you make a mistake like this, you will not live to see the next day. Understand?" growled the leader as he looked at the injured man. The grunt silently nodded his head and crawled away from the leader.
"Any luck with the gate?" asked the leader while looking at the girl now known as 'Noir'.
"Nope, that gate is hard to leave a dent in. One of the bars also has something attached to it to make sure we don't get out. I tried to call our back-up unit but the signals jammed. Too bad we only brought Ice-types to help us on this job or else we could or flown or surfed our way out of here." said 'Noir'.
"Keep trying and you're coming with me to find that third Mewman. Grab your Pokémon and lets go." commanded the leader.
"You will never succeed in capturing the Mewman you're talking about." shouted Rosie who is now conscious.
"Oh yeah? What makes you so sure, weakling?" said 'Noir' smirking at the defenceless Grass-type Mewman.
"That Mewman you're talking about is the strongest, bravest and most noble Mewman you'll ever see! You'll never defeat her, even with a whole army of you monsters!" shouted Rosie with anger.
"Oh really? If she's as you describe her to be, where is this Mewman of yours now?" asked the leader while staring at Rosie with cold eyes. Before Rosie or anyone could replay they heard someone yelling at them.
"Yoo-hooo~! Are you guys looking for me?" someone said is a high sing-song type of voice. Everyone turned towards the top of the stairs to see a tall, person with green high-heels, and a light green short-sleeve dress that poofed out at the waist, white tights and a long sleeved shirt underneath the dress. The person appeared to be a girl with lots of make-up caked to her face, green ears and tail that looked like the pokémon Mew, blue eyes and a VERY big brown afro on 'her' head. Everyone looked at the 'girl' with horror on their faces.
"What the hell is that?" asked Noir with shock.
"I'm the one you been looking for, evildoers! I'm the Mewman of Grass-types! A girl at that." said the person on top of the stairs. Rosie looked closely at the new 'girl' that had arrived and when she saw the afro it finally clicked. 'THAT'S CRAWFORD! WHY IS HE DRESSED UP AS A GIRL?!' thought Rosie while turning away from the scene. Who would blame her, Crawford was NOT the prettiest girl in the world. Also that was one of her dresses. How he got that dress, she'll never know.
"Noir, you're coming with me to capture this...'girl'. The rest of you, guard the Mewmans. Don't let them escape!" barked the leader to the three grunts. Noir and the leader then ran towards Crawford to capture 'her'. Then Crawford started running away from the two like he was been chased by a stampede of Taruos. The grunts went in front of their 'prizes' and returned their Pokémon to their pokéballs for a rest. They turned towards Kellyn, who was still completely frozen in the ice thanks to Noir's Mamoswine.
"Can you actually believe that this chump is the son of a Dragon type ex-Titian/Legend? He looks seriously weak." said one of the grunts.
"He looks totally weak in that ice. He definitely gets us some big time cash on the black market." laughed the second grunt while the third one kicked the ice.
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY BEST FRIEND!" yelled a female voice from above before a flying kick hit the third grunt in the head, instantly knocking the guy out cold. Soon the other grunts were knocked out by two other people from the tree above them.
"Keith, Mace, Big Sister!" said Rosie with relief and joy. Keith went up to Rosie with a Charmander he got earlier and melted the ice on Rosie with the Charmander's Ember attack. Kate absorbed all the ice from the glass cage before breaking some of the bars with her tail. When Ivy weakly walked up to the Ice Mewman, Kate also absorbed all of the ice covering the shivering Leafeon. When Ivy stopped shaking, she fell asleep and was returned to her pokéball thanks to Rosie.
Meanwhile Mace kicked the ice holding Kellyn with all of her strength and broke it apart. Kellyn then fell into Mace's waiting arms and she placed him on the ground. He instantly changed back into his human form as soon as he collapsed.
"Kellyn? Kellyn, are you okay? Say something!" said Mace with a worried voice. A few seconds later Kellyn moaned and slowly opened his eyes to see his childhood best friend.
"Mace, is that you? What happened to me?" asked Kellyn in a hoarse voice. Mace smiled softly at the weak Dragon type Mewman before helping him off the ground and putting one of his arms around her shoulder to support him.
"Yep, it's me you big dummy. Come on, let's get out of here." said Mace to Kellyn and then the others. While the small group ran towards the stairs, an Ice Beam stopped them in their tracks.
"Well done in beating my men. Too bad that you weren't able to outsmart me." said the leader at the top of the stairs with Noir holding a tied up Crawford by rope in her hand.
"Sorry guys, they were faster than we thought and tricked me to go into a trap." said Crawford with fear.
"Do you honestly think that you could beat someone like me? I hunted Mewmans like you before you were even born. It takes more than three Blessed and a Grass-type Mewman to beat someone at my level." said the leader as he walked towards the group. Kate jumped in front of the others, transformed into her Mewman form and pointed her scythe at the leader.
"Aaaah, so you're the third Mewman instead of a Blessed. I feel embarrassed for not recognising you Miss Icecia. You're a tricky one to find." said the leader with a smirk. Kate froze for a minute before glaring at the leader with hate.
"How do you know my name? We never met before." said Kate with her voice void from emotions.
"I know a lot about you over the past two years, Kate Icecia. Your Element Pokémon is a Froslass named Fro who is an odd pokémon in colour and personality compared to her kind. You have two older brothers, including Crawford here, and one little sister. Your father is an Ice/Grass type Mewman and your mother is a Physic type Mewman. Kellyn is actually your cousin from your mother's side but because of him being with Rosie all the time, you felt afraid to approach him. Do I need to say more, like what you did in your colourful past?" said the leader with his smirk growing bigger.
Kate was shaking with terror with knowing all of her background, even her biggest secret. Before anyone could blink Kate was a foot away from the leader and swung her scythe at him. The leader blocked her attack with his dagger and everyone watched the two of them.
"Aww, did I hit a nerve? You've gone soft over the years Kate. Where is the old Kate that shows no mercy?" said the leader before he was hit in the face by an Ice Punch. He flew across the yard and hit against the side of a cliff which made a huge dent in the wall of rock.
"Now that's more like it!" exclaimed the leader as he wiped away some blood from the corner of his lips and snapped his fingers. Suddenly Noir attacked Kate with her dagger but luckily Kate dodged it in time. Then there was a fight between the two girls. The others knowing that Kate could handle herself quickly grabbed the tied up Crawford and ran to the stairs. As fast as anyone could blink the leader stood in front of the stairs with his Shock-Dagger fully activated.
He kicked Keith away from the group with incredible strength and started a fight with Mace while Rosie held on to both Crawford and Kellyn.
Keith's Pov
I felt sore all over my chest from where the leader kicked me. He was so strong and fast for a guy his age. I lay on the ground and looked around me. Mace was fighting the leader in a hand to hand combat. Rosie was trying to help both Crawford and Kellyn. Kate was battling that girl, Noir that was with the Hunters. I felt useless looking at all my friends doing something about the Hunters while I was almost knocked out by a single kick! Damn it! Maybe I'm better off staying out of this fight because of how weak I was compared to everyone.
I saw Kate being over powered by Noir and I felt my heart stop at the sight. From that moment I didn't care if I was hurt. I didn't care if I was weak. I have to-no, I NEED to help Kate! I looked around the area to see anything that could help before I spotted something above Kate and Noir, in the tree that we were hiding in the beginning. It was a Slakoth lying on it's stomach, it was looking peaceful while a fight was happening tight in in front of it. I suddenly had an idea and grabbed my styler from my pocket. I sat up, took my aim at the Slakoth and released the capture disc. The capture was easy and was done in three seconds flat. When the Slakoth looked at me, I quickly pointed to Noir nearly over powering Kate. The Slakoth jumped off the branch and landed on Noir's head, causing her to panic.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! WHAT THE HELL?! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF ME!" screamed Noir while running around in panic. The leader looked at Noir for a second before being knocked out by a hit to the head by a smirking Mace. Kate let out a sigh of relief and changed back into her human form.
"Are you okay Kate? Did she hurt you?" I asked while helping her off the ground. She smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek. I felt my face heat up from the kiss and my heart beating fast.
"I'm fine thanks to you Keith." said Kate with a smile on her face.
"That reminds me, why didn't you tell me that Kellyn was your cousin?" I asked with curiosity. Kate's smile grew bigger and laughed at my question.
"You never asked me silly. I thought it was pretty obvious since I have Alphano in my name and Kellyn's last name is Alphano. It's a tradition to have a mother's maiden name in a child's name. You can be pretty oblivious sometimes Keith." said Kate while she was laughing. I started to laugh as well because Kate's laugh was contagious.
I felt everything at peace before I heard a scream. I turned my head to see Rosie held by Noir with one arm and the other arm held a Shock-Dagger to Rosie's neck. I saw part of Noir's face that wasn't hidden by her hood that she was covered in small scratch marks and was not happy.
"Back off! One step near me and the weakling gets it! Now, I want you to open the gates and let me go or else Little Miss Grass-type will make a nice decoration on my wall." said Noir as she brought the dagger closer to Rosie's neck. I could hear Rosie whimper as a stray spark hit her neck. Mace let out a growl before walking towards the gate to where her Mag-o-Squares where on the gate. She pressed the pad of her index finger on one of the squares and they all fell off the gate. When the gate opened, everyone stepped away from the gate. When Noir was about to take a step forward something hit her in the head and knocked her out cold, letting go of Rosie. When Noir collapsed I saw a very angry Rhythmi with a hardback book in her hands.
"Rhythmi! Man, am I glad to see you! You won't believe what we-*SMACK!* OOOOOOWW! WHAT THE HELL RHYTH?!" I shouted after Rhythmi hit my head with the book she used to knock out Noir.
"You idiot! Do you have any idea how worried I was about you guys?! First Rosie fainted in gym, then all of you disappeared and now I find people I never met before unconscious on the ground, Crawford dressed as a girl and Rosie captured with a dagger to her neck! Keith Dazzle Adams, what in the name of Arceus is going on here?!" shouted Rhythmi with pure rage. I almost felt the need to tell her everything but I knew that I would put her and Isaac in danger if I told them the truth. I opened my mouth to say a lie but I heard many footsteps coming from the gate. I turned my head to see Isaac, Fro, Chrom and the Vientown rangers running towards us.
"Rhythmi, I got the rangers just like you asked and-what in the name of Arceus happened here?" said Isaac as he looked at the mess in the square.
"It looks like a group of Hunters were fighting here. That explains the mess." said a black haired girl. We all turned to her in panic while Isaac and Rhythmi looked at her in confusion. A big tanned man with a moustache waved his arms around and looked at the group trying hard to show that he wasn't nervous (and failing miserably).
"What Luana meant to say was-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING CRAWFORD?!" said the man before looking at Crawford in horror. Crawford looked confused for a moment before looking at himself. When he remembered what he was wearing he screamed like a girl. Not exactly helping him in this dilemma.
"Ooooooooh! I am so going to have fun with this!" said Luana while she grabbed a camera from her back pocket.
"Blackmail time!" shouted Kellyn and Kate while running towards Luana. Kate suddenly stopped and turned towards Rosie. I could see what she was trying to do but was too nervous to do so. I walked up to her, put a hand on her shoulder and smiled reassuringly at her. Kate gave me a shy smile before walking towards Rosie.
"Rosie, I know that I had been horrible to you by avoiding you. I was scared because it's been two years since that day and I thought you would hate me. I was only thinking of how much it hurt me. I forgot that you would feel the same way as well. I'm sorry. I'm really truly sorry Rosie." said Kate while tears were building up in her eyes. Rosie smiled and hugged Kate.
"I know, Crawford told me everything. It's not your fault Kate. I would have done the same if I was in your position. I'm just glad to have you back in my life Big Sister." said Rosie. I could see that Kate finally let her tears go down her face and hugged Rosie back. I felt happy for Kate to finally have her friend back.
From the corner of my eye I saw Isaac walking towards the leader. He looked at the leader with confusion before reaching towards the hood covering the man's face. Suddenly the leader grabbed Isaac's wrist and threw him away like he was rubbish. Luckily the big ranger caught him in time. The leader quickly stood up and threw a small grey ball to the ground. The ball exploded into a giant cloud of smoke and blocked my view. By the time the smoke disappeared the Hunters were gone.
Everyone froze to look at where the Hunters where and I just had questions filling up my mind. 'What have I gotten myself into?' I thought while looking at the same spot as the others.
IMN: CHAPTER 9 IS DONE! HURRAY!
Keith: *Throwing out a giant bag into an incinerator* There, every last picture of Kate and I are finally destroyed!
Fro: *Crying on the ground* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MY CHANCE OF EARNING MONEY, GONE! YOU MONSTER!
Kellyn: Looks like she is taking the loss pretty hard.
Rhythmi: Do they have to burn my pictures of them as well?! This is cruel! TT^TT
Kate: Did everyone buy a photo of us?
Cast: YES!
IMN: Anyway I better start chapter 10, later! *Tries to run but was blocked by Keith and Kate*
Kate: IMN, why are you trying to run away?
IMN: Because I'm trying to get started on chapter 10.
Keith: Why do you look chubby and holding your sides?
IMN: IT'S NOTHING! *Suddenly waving arms and paper falls out of sleeves*
Keith: *Picks up paper to see pictures of Kate and Keith* IMN, WERE YOU BUYING PICTURES OF US?!
Crawford: I knew it!
Kate: IMN, give us the photos.
IMN: NEVER! *Runs away*
Kate and Keith: GET BACK HERE! *Runs after author*
Rosie: Well this was eventful. *Turns towards audience* Thank you all for reading chapter 9 and in case we don't update soon-
