Sorry, no new chapter here. I'm just posting this update so everyone knows I'm still alive and to belatedly explain why I haven't updated this story in over three years. I probably should have posted this earlier, and for my tardiness in that, as well as the lack of new content, I apologize.
When I began writing AotB, I had in my mind a very concise idea of where I wanted to move the plot, but eventually I ran into writer's block after I finished the most recent chapter, and, though I fully intend to eventually finish this fic, enough time ended up passing that I started forgetting points of the plot I wanted to work toward. So, until further notice, this fic is, and has since 2014 been, on hiatus.
Right now I'm planning on moving my focus to other unfinished fics. I still have a very clear idea, for example, of where I want to go with Titans Legacies, for example, and I hope to resume work on that fic shortly. While I know it's far from a consolation, seeing as AotB is very clearly a BBRae fic, while Legacies is contingent upon a BBRavager pairing in its background (no Red otherwise), I hope that where I do end up moving that story proves as interesting as where this one was going, and where I eventually intend to bring it.
But, to be clear, this fic is not totally dead. I have every intention of eventually finishing it, but before I can do that I need to sort some things out with my plot ideas, and I hope I can sort out what I need to sort out by taking some more time away from the fic.
