Charlotte's POV
We ran as fast as we can. Once we got inside, We quickly ran into the elevator and straight into the Man Cave, but when we got there, Ray was sitting on the couch.
"Ray! What's the problem?" Henry asked, concerned.
"Oh, nothing" he replied, smiling.
"Then why did you call us?" Jasper asked, still out of breath.
"I just wanted to see how fast you'd get here".
"RAY!" Henry and I exclaimed.
"We thought you needed actual help!" I said.
"I got pizza" Ray said, grabbing a pizza from behind the couch.
"You're forgiven" we said, grabbing a few slices.
*A Few Hours Later*
Jasper, Henry, and I left Junk N' Stuff, then Jasper walked to his house, while Henry decided to walk me home.
"Why are you walking me home again?" I asked him.
"It's dark outside, and your house is fifteen minutes away. Do you really expect me to let you walk by yourself?" he replied.
"Oh, so you don't think I can handle myself?"
"No,it's not that. I just feel it's my duty to protect you".
"Well... Thanks... I guess".
Henry's POV
When we got to Charlotte's house, she opened the door to see her mom sitting on the couch.
I was about to leave, when Charlotte's mom said, "Oh, Henry. Can you walk Charlotte to your house?".
"Sure, but why?" I asked.
"Yeah, what's the problem, mom?" Charlotte asked.
"Your dad and I are going on a work trip for a month. We were thinking of bringing you, but you would've missed a lot school, and since we don't have any relative's that live near here, we decided to call Henry's parents. Now go pack. Henry will you help her?".
"Sure" I said.
We walked to her room, then I helped her pack. When we finished, Charlotte said bye to her mom, then we walked to my house. My mom and I got her settled in the guest room, then I went to my room and went to sleep, thinking about the day we just had.
