AN: ok guys so yall may not know this but I'm in college and as much as I love reviews please be patient for the story. I do not mean to offend anyone but I've gotten this on a few of my stories now. I don't mind people asking me to update but I've had a few reviews saying that they will drop the story if it is not updated soon. I have a life outside of this site so please keep that in mind.

Thanks

So far i have two chapters written and the general plan is to do it all in 3rd pov

chapter 1

"So much for true love," Ursula shouted as she aimed the trident at Ariel.

Eric was steering the ship as best as he could in the storm when he heard those words. He looked down and saw the mermaid at the bottom of the whirlpool, praying that he would make it in time.

Ursula drew back and prepared to send the magic when the sharp edge of the broken mast impaled her. Eric quickly jumped overboard and began to swim to shore not noticing that magic had expelled from the trident.

Where Ursula was aiming for Ariel's heart the shock of the injury caused her to mis-aim, hitting the little mermaid in the side. The force from the sea came back to it's original state throwing Ariel into some rocks causing her to bash her head, sending her into unconsciousness. When Eric got to shore he stood up and began to look around for her.

"Ariel," he called hoping she would come to him so they could talk.

"Ariel please, I just want to talk," he said hoping that when she didn't come at first that she was just worried or upset at him. He was starting to get worried when he saw a flash of red underwater.

He smiled thinking that her hair really keeps her from hiding well. He started walking into the water when he noticed blood leaking from her head.

"No," he said as he ran faster to her his abused muscles protesting. He finally reached her, turning her over he noticed her eyes closed and she wasn't breathing well.

"No,no,no," he quickly picked her up and carried her back to shore, not noticing the little fish and crab peeking from the sea. He reached the shore making sure she was still partially in the water he set her down and began to look her over.

"You'll be alright," he stated as he ripped his shirt to make bandages.

"you have to be," Eric was working hard not even noticing that he was crying.

Below the sea, King Triton, having been turned back to his true form, grabbed his crown and trident and started to look for his daughter. Noticing the little flounder that always hung around her, he swam upward figuring that his wayward daughter was with her human. Once he crested the surface he started to look around when he heard crying from both Sebastian and the shore. Looking towards the shore he saw his daughter unconscious and bleeding, while he human tried to heal her.
