Even at ten in the evening after four full hours of dance laughing and general frivolity Luna looked stunning in her yellow wedding dress. As she reached the door of their new home Hermione turned to her.

"Wait," She smiled. She reached one hand round her new wife's shoulders and the other just above her knees,

"Whoa!" Luna exclaimed, "Hermione!" She giggled, giddy with the joy of finally being married to the woman of her dreams. She kissed Hermione of the lips, while simultaneously wrapping her arm around her neck.

"What is this?" She asked gazing up at Hermione flirtatiously.

"It's an ancient muggle tradition where the groom carries the bride over the doorstep."

"So you're the man now?" Luna cocked an eyebrow,

"If I were a man Luna, we wouldn't be half as brave." Grinned Hermione she too was more joyful then she'd ever been.

"I love you crazy Griffindor," murmured Luna,

"And I love you, you crazy Ravenclaw!"
