Hundreds of individuals from a plethora of worlds are sent to a dark dimension where they must work together to fight villains, recruit allies, and explore the land. Along the way they must figure out the mysteries of this place if they ever want to go home.

Knowledge is Tower

Kaiba, Zuko, X-Head Cannon, Banjo, Kazooie, MetalMamemon, Seth, Sakura, Itachi, Shaymin, Mario, Genesect, Mechelle, the Beta Sky Chase Dragon, Homestar Runner, Midna, Pain, Tory, Toaster, Toadsuke, Bobert, Skips, Daffy, Brain, Scamper, Deoxys, Jenny, Olimar, and Stitch were traveling across a barren wasteland with no end in sight.

"Boy, theres no end in sight!" MetalMamemon exclaimed.

"Thats probably because there IS no end." Pain hypothesized.

"What do you mean by that?" Banjo asked.

"Think about it. We've been walking for at least half an hour and nothing has changed. Its possible Tenebris has created an endless loop of land to wear us out."

"Oh no!" Mario exclaimed, remembering a similar scenario with Bowser and the Endless Stairs when he took over Peachs' castle.

"You are correct. Now that you have figured out Tenebris' illusion, I can break it and reveal your destination." Lumiere told them.

There was a flash of golden light and a huge forest of giant dead trees was before them.

"We're supposed to go through THERE?" Shaymin said, a little fearful.

"Eh, not a big deal for me." Scamper stated.

"Yeah, I've been through a spooky forest before, surprisingly." Toaster added.

"Well if the talking toaster can make it through, then so can all of you guys." Daffy snarked.

"Well I just hope this one has an end." Zuko said, and the group proceeded into the woods.

"Any minute now we're gonna wun into some twouble." Homestar Runner said as they continued along.

Suddenly, there was a huge rumble in the distance that was getting louder and louder.

"Way to go fag no-arms, you jinxed us!" Toadsuke shouted.

"Get ready, guys, here it comes!" Zuko said, getting into a battle stance.

The trees ahead of them were mowed down by a huge, dark-purple, tank-like machine. It had a huge toothy mouth with angry eyes that served as windows, and a mustache built on the front, 6 huge spiked wheels, 4 arms; 2 of them clawed hands and 2 of them large drills, 4 exhaust tanks on the back, and 6 large cannons on the sides. Upon closer inspection, Bowser and Eggman were piloting the machine from each eye.

"WHOA! Check out the size of that evil invention!" Brain exclaimed.

"Thats a bit of an understatement..." Midna muttered.

The mouth of the tank opened a little and Bowser spoke up on an intercom. "HAHAHA! Mario! What a coincidence running into YOU here!"

Mario just glared in response.

"And if that isn't TWO of my minions turned against me!" Eggman gloated.

The Sky Chase Dragon raised its scorpion tail, and Chaos bubbled furiously at this.

"We've got to destroy that thing!" Deoxys said, switching to his Attack forme.

"Easier said than done. That armor is going to be a pain to even crack." Jenny said.

"Then let's not bother trying to crack it." Tory stated. She held out her hands and shot green globs of acid at the tank, but the corrosive liquid just slid down with no effect.

"HAHAHA! Nice try, but this tank is unmeltable!" Bowser gloated.

"Face it, you'll never destroy the Egg King!" Eggman added.

"The what...?" Shaymin said in confusion.

"Its the name of this tank!"

"Thats a stupid name, fag-mustache! It doesn't even look like an egg!" Toadsuke shouted.

"Grrrr! Its MY machi-" Eggman was cut off by Bowser loudly clearing his throat, "Err, OUR machine! And don't talk bad about my mustache!"

Two large streams of fire were sprayed out of two of the cannons. Zuko created a tall wall of fire to try and absorb the streams, which worked a little, but they still broke through. The Sky Chase Dragon quickly got in front of the group and spread out its large flat wings, shielding them from the flames.

"Gaah! Curse me for building fireproof robots!" Eggman grumbled.

"So we can't melt it and we can't break it." Banjo stated.

"Then we need to find a more unconventional method." Skips said.

"The tank may be invincible, but not the ground beneath it." Pain threw his arms up high and chunks of the earth around and under the tank were ripped out of the ground. The chunks formed a ball of earth around the tank, and then slowly levitated into the air.

Pain smirked as loud drilling noises came from the makeshift moon. "Don't bother. The gravity holding that miniature moon together is so strong that it took the most powerful demon at almost full power to break out of it."

However, after a moment, the drilling got louder and the tank tore right through the satellite, coming straight down at the group at high speed with its rockets flaring and its 4 arms extended.

"Bwace fow impact!" Homestar Runner shouted.

"I got this." Deoxys shifted into his Defense forme and flew right at the tank.

"Is he suicidal?" Midna asked.

"No, thats ME." Scamper told her.

Deoxys put its 4 thick arms out and blocked the 4 arms of the tank. Using his weight and psychic powers, he slowed the speed of the tank significantly, but not completely. The rest of the group used this opportunity to clear out of the way. Deoxys was confident, but his attitude changed when the tanks mouth opened, revealing a large cannon that blasted the DNA Pokemon at point-blank range with a huge white beam. This blast disintegrated Deoxys, leaving only his pink orb core, which fell to the ground.

"Hahahaha! Betcha' weren't expecting THAT!" Bowser gloated as the tank, with its drills spinning once again, bore right into the ground.

"Well thats only one down. We still have a ton more to go!" Eggman told him.

"Don't you think I know that?! We'll get them all, even if we have to cherry pick them! However, the man in the red cap and overalls is MY target, not yours!"

"Very well, but the same goes for me if we come across a blue hedgehog wearing sneakers."

"Deoxys!" Shaymin exclaimed, flying over to the alien Pokemon's orb.

"Is he...is he dead?" Brain asked.

"No, he is slowly regenerating. This orb serves as his brain, and if he had perished, this orb would not be around." Mechelle explained.

"How do you know all of that?" Zuko asked.

"I can scan a lifeform and obtain all information on it. Zuko; I know you are a Firebender, and Shaymin; I know you are a Grass/Flying-type."

"Boy, THATS unsettling." Brain said to himself.

"We bettow stay on our tows. That wobot thing could come up any mowment!" Homestar Runner warned.

"He's right. We are sitting ducks on the ground." Toaster added.

"So what do we do? Climb in the trees like squirrels?" Daffy asked sarcastically. Stitch took it to heart and scurried up a tree.

"Well HE thinks its a good idea. Unless anyone has anything better." Seth said.

"Anyone? No? Alright, squirrels it is." Kaiba sneered.

Kaiba, Zuko, and Seth climbed by using branches as platforms. Kazooie flew Banjo up to a high branch with Toaster catching a ride in the backpack. MetalMamemon used his rocket arm to propel himself and sunk his large claw deep into the trunk. Itachi, Sakura, Pain, Toadsuke, Chaos, Homestar Runner, and Mario hopped from branch to branch. Bobert and Brain extended their pincher arms and pulled themselves up. Skips scaled the trunk with ease. Olimar plucked 4 pink fairy-like Pikmin from the ground which picked him up and flew him to a high branch. Daffy waved his staff and teleported to a high branch. Shaymin, Genesect, Midna, Jenny, and the Sky Chase Dragon simply flew to the top.

"It appears that us larger machines are bound to the earth." X-Head Cannon stated to Mechelle.

"Indeed." She then looked at Scamper and Tory, "Why aren't the two of you in the trees?"

"I'm a master of poison, so nature and I don't healthily mingle." Tory said, then snapped her fingers and turned into a puddle of poison.

"And I unfortunately can't die." Scamper muttered.

"We will have to rely on our defenses." Mechelle told X-Head Cannon, shielding herself with her arms, as did X-Head Cannon.

Moments passed, but there were no signs of Bowser and Eggman resurfacing.

"Maybe they left?" MetalMamemon said, unsure.

Mario shook his head furiously; he knew Bowser wouldn't leave as long as he was around.

"Don't let up! They're probably just waiting for us to lower our guard." Skips ordered.

Suddenly, there was a flurry of large laser blasts that chopped down all the surrounding trees like swift axes, causing the heroes to jump off their higher ground and leaving them wide open.

"How the hell did they come out of the ground without making noise?!" Tory exclaimed, rising out of her Poison Puddle.

"Uhh, I don't think thats them!" MetalMamemon said uneasily.

Hovering in the air in front of them was a skull-shaped spaceship with two large red windows as the eyes, and 6 jet engines; similar to those on a street racing car, coming out from behind them along the sides.

"Oh come on! Did one of them switch ships or something?!" Zuko exclaimed.

The mouth of the skull opened a little and a somewhat nasily voice spoke up on an intercom.

"Attention cowering crowd! This area is now under the control of Lord Hater!" the voice said.

"Lord...Who are you again?" Brain asked.

"LORD HATER! PAY ATTENTION, FOOL!" another voice, this one deep, shouted.

"Look, nows not a good time. We're already in the middle of another fight here." Itachi said with his usual expression.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry! I'll come back at a later time when its more convenient for y-! I DON'T CARE!" the second voice, presumably Lord Hater, said sarcastically.

"Why do you want to control some dumb forest?" Midna asked, half-sarcastic.

Lord Hater sighed in frustration. "Commander Peepers, tell these idiots why..."

"Alright, listen up! Its not about this dumb forest, its about whats on the other side!" the first voice, Commander Peepers, said.

"Whats on the other side?" Banjo asked.

"Something you'll never see, because you're about to be destroyed!"

The mouth of the skull ship opened up wider and a long tongue-like red carpet rolled out onto the ground. Then, out of the mouth marched a large army of short soldiers with eyes for heads that were wearing black outfits and helmets, red gloves and boots, and holding red laser guns.

"Hater's great! Best villain!" they chanted as they marched out and lined up. After a moment, two others stepped out and stopped at the bottom of the tongue carpet. The first resembled the soldiers, only slightly taller and wearing a black gladiator helmet with a yellow lightning-shaped spike atop it: Commander Peepers. The other was a muscular skeleton with glowing green eyes wearing yellow gloves and a red and black cloak: Lord Hater.

"Well crap." Scamper said.

To make matters worse, Bowser and Eggman's tank broke through the ground behind the group and lined itself up.

"Whats going on around here?!" Eggman exclaimed.

"Some skeleton thing named Lord Hater and his army of eyeballs want to control this forest cuz there is something important on the other side. Also, they kinda want to kill us." Brain told him.

"We already called dibs! Go find some other do-gooders to do away with!" Bowser ordered.

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" Lord Hater shouted.

"We were here first!" Eggman retorted.

"Too bad, so sad!"

Sakura and Itachi sighed and sweatdropped.

"I don't know whether to be grateful or pity them..." the female ninja muttered.

"If we're lucky, maybe they'll beat each other FOR us..." the male ninja muttered.

Suddenly, all of the heroes were encased in dark orbs, which levitated them into 2 groups. Then, a giant wall of darkness separated them, leaving one half with Lord Hater and the Watchdogs, and the other with Bowser and Eggman.

Against Bowser and Eggman were Scamper, Kazooie, Toadsuke, Bobert, Seth, Pain, Genesect, MetalMamemon, Itachi, Olimar, Toaster, Zuko, Kaiba, Homestar Runner, and X-Head Cannon.

Against Lord Hater and the Watchdogs were Daffy, Banjo, Sakura, Stitch, Shaymin, Mario, Midna, Skips, Jenny, Brain, Chaos, Mechelle, the Sky Chase Dragon, Tory, and the orb of Deoxys.

"What the hell just happened?" Seth wondered.

"It was Tenebris. He has split your group apart to face your two foes." Lumiere explained.

"So even HE got tired of their arguing." Zuko said with a smirk.

"Well we still have to take on this tank." Scamper stated.

"NO! THIS IS AWFUL!" Bowser shouted.

"What are you complaining about? We still have a lot of them to destroy, and now we don't have to worry about that skeleton and his eyeball army getting in the way." Eggman told him.

"My arch-enemy is on the other side of that BARRIER!"

"Oh get over it! So are Chaos and the Sky Chase Dragon!"

"Neither of them are your arch-enemies! How would you react if that hedgehog in sneakers was over there instead?"

"...Okay, fine, I see your point! Perhaps if we defeat all of these guys, the barrier will go down and we can go after the rest."

"It looks like we have no other options. Those eyeballs don't look much stronger than Goombas anyway, so I know Mario will survive until we get to them!"

The arms of the tank rose up, the drills started spinning, and the exhaust tanks sputtered fire.

"What do we do? Theiwr abowt to chawge!" Homestar Runner said.

"Their armor is indestructible and unmeltable, and they can break through the strongest of traps." Pain assessed.

"So what can we do?" MetalMamemon asked.

"Hmm...We haven't gotten anywhere because we are focusing on the wrong point." Kaiba stated.

"Listen to Mr. Moody here, he thinks hes got it figured out." Kazooie said sarcastically.

"What do you mean?" Toaster asked.

"The tank may be invincible, but not the people driving it."

"I see what you're getting at. Genesect and MetalMamemon, I need your assistance." Itachi ordered.

The tank blasted forward and fired a flurry of large bullets with angry eyes and small white arms in balled fists.

"Princess, hold me like a rifle, aim at those bullets, and slide your arm down my neck." Kazooie told Toadsuke.

"What the fuck?! No way, fag-wings!"

"Just do it! Unless you want to be on the wrong side of a bullet!"

"This is stupid..." Toadsuke said, but followed Kazooie's orders. The Breegul spat out orange flaming eggs, which hit the Bullet Bill's with perfect accuracy, canceling the two projectiles out.

"You guys are about to get killed!" Scamper exclaimed as the tank sped closer.

"I don't think so." Pain stepped forward and threw his arms forward, sending out a huge wave of invisible force, which was powerful enough to nearly knock the tank upside-down, but it caught itself on its back 2 wheels and slammed down on the ground with enough weight and force to clear the area even more by knocking down the trees around it.

"Its now or never, Itachi." Seth said.

"Right." the Uchiha looked at MetalMamemon and Genesect and nodded. Genesect tucked its legs and arms under itself and tucked in its laser behind its head, which made it resemble a kind of disc-shaped hoverboard.

"Wow, I thought you'd just use your jetpack, not turn into a UFO." MetalMamemon said to himself.

Itachi climbed onto Genesect and knelt down, then motioned to MetalMamemon, who hopped on his shoulders and held out his gun arm. Genesect then hovered straight up into the air.

"Sooooo, whats the plan?" MetalMamemon asked.

"I need to make eye contact with them, and I know they are going to focus on an airborne target, especially one with 2 living weapons. You need to be prepared to cover me." Itachi told him.

"I think they are trying to get us from above." Bowser said.

"Ohohohoho, I don't think so!" Eggman gloated.

Out of the top of the tank rose a large cannon, which fired 2 long grey missiles with a logo on them that resembled Eggman's face.

"Damn, I didn't count on that." Itachi said with his eyes widened a little.

"Sorry, but this is gonna hurt." MetalMamemon said quickly. He sunk his large claw into Itachi's shoulder, held out his cannon arm, fired his jetpack, and took off straight up. As he did this, Genesect unfolded back into its original shape, still staying aloft by using its jetpack, and fired 2 Techno Blasts at the missiles, destroying them before they could cause any damage.

MetalMamemon flew back down to the ground, ripped his claw out of Itachi's shoulder, and jumped off of him. "Sorry about maiming you."

"Don't worry, that was quick thinking and if you hadn't done that, we would've suffered a lot more than stabs to the shoulder." Itachi replied.

"So it has flamethrowers, bullets with faces, a giant laser mouth cannon, and now a homing missile launcher?!" Zuko exclaimed.

"And we still do not know what the last pair of cannons shoot." Bobert added.

"Then it is time we strike back with a multi-weapon assault also." X-Head Cannon said. The duel monster floated in the air and underneath it appeared a red robotic dragon with no back legs and wings directly on the sides of its body; Y-Dragon head, and on the ground beneath Y-Dragon Head appeared the bottom half of a yellow tank with its treads directly on the sides of its body; Z-Metal Tank. These three mechanical monsters then stacked on top of each other, forming XYZ-Dragon Cannon. (I believe he appeared in this story before, but it was so long ago and such an obscure alternate form that I decided to write down the description again.)

"Howld on just a mowment! Yowr 3 weapons and thewr 3 weapons gives me an idea. Try fiwring your weapons at thewr weapons." Homestar Runner suggested.

XYZ-Dragon Cannon did so, shooting X-Head Cannon's artillery shells at the flamethrower cannons, Y-Dragon Head's light-blue beam at the large mouth cannon, and Z-Metal Tank's missiles at the Bullet Bill cannons. This artillery assault worked; the weapons on the tank were cracked and emitting smoke.

"I'm a geniwus." Homestar Runner said proudly.

"No way! I can't believe this!" Eggman exclaimed.

"We still have more weapons. We haven't even shown off the bombs yet." Bowser said and pushed a button on the control panel, but nothing happened. "WHAT?!"

"Why isn't it working?!"

"They must've destroyed them!"

"Impossible! They are still online!"

The villains stopped their bickering when they heard clanging noises coming from the walls alongside them.

"Whats that noise?" Eggman wondered.

"How should I know?!"

Their bickering ceased again when the 2 large pipes running along the ceiling broke open and a group of red Pikmin with pointy noses looked down upon them as a couple chubby purple Pikmin strutted over, holding the bombs that were used as ammunition.

"Whats this?! How did those pests get in here?!" Eggman exclaimed.

"They must've crawled through the bomb barrels since we haven't used them!" Bowser guessed.

"Well that doesn't matter now! If they drop those bombs, we're toast! We have no choice but to retreat!"

"No! Not until I face off with Mario!"

"Oh your face will BE off when those explode! Besides, that barrier is still up, as well as that skeleton guy!"

"Grrrr, FINE!" Bowser punched a yellow triangular button with an exclamation point on it. An alarm started beeping, which deactivated the bombs and all the weapons, and the head of the tank was launched off of the tank body. The Red and Purple Pikmin scrambled out before the head took off straight into the sky.

"This is YOUR fault, you know." Eggman told Bowser.

"WHAT?! If its anyones fault, its YOURS! I'm not the one who armed this tank with bombs!"

"Well YOU'RE not the one who armed it with a missile launcher! OR drills!"

"I armed it with a laser cannon, and blasting that alien with it was the closest we came to defeating any of those do-gooders!"

The duos bickering faded as the head got further and further out of sight.

"THAT was a hassle." Seth said.

"Yeah, but we gotta thank Olimar for sneaking those Pikmin into their tank when they first showed up." Toaster said.

"Hey! What abowt ME?!" Homestar Runner exclaimed.

"You deserve our thanks as well, because you figured out that just because the tank was indestructible, it did not mean the weapons attached to it were." Bobert told him.

"It is unfortunate their escape plan involved shutting down the system, as its weapons and all-terrain travel would have been a useful addition." X-Head Cannon said, having transformed back to normal.

"Yeah, but that barrier is still up, and I don't think its coming down until the rest of US beat the rest of THEM." Scamper stated.

Meanwhile, the others were facing Lord Hater and his army.

"HAHAHAHA! I might not get to destroy ALL of you, but MOST of you will have to do." Lord Hater gloated.

"Actually, sir, the group was split up 50-50." Commander Peepers interjected.

"I DON'T CARE, PEEPERS! I'm still going to wipe these losers off the map."

"Bring it on, ya bag of bones." Daffy taunted.

"I've battled a living eyeball before, all you gotta do is kick some dirt in their eye-face. Its easy." Jenny said smugly and performed said action on some Watchdogs, but nothing happened.

"Nice try, but Lord Hater made us wear contacts!" a Watchdog explained.

"Its itchy and uncomfortable as all get out, but it helps on the field of battle." another one added.

"Lets try flashes of light!" Jenny suggested.

"Leave that to us." Daffy said and held up his staff in front of the Sky Chase Dragon. The staff glowed and reflected off of the dragon's flat metallic wings, which it angled right at the Watchdogs, but this had no effect either.

"These contact lenses also filter light!" a Watchdog explained.

"Just beat 'em up the old fashioned way!" Midna said, grabbing a Watchdog with her hand-like hair and throwing it hard at another one.

A group of Watchdogs surrounded Chaos and shot at him, but the lasers had no effect. The water deity then held out his arms and began spinning, and as he spun, his arms greatly extended and smacked all the Watchdogs away. Mario hopped from Watchdog to Watchdog, knocking them to the ground with his weight and hard shoes on their ocular heads. Banjo backed up, got a running start, and rolled forward, knocking back a triangulated group of 10 Watchdogs like bowling pins.

"These guys are jokes..." Tory said in an annoyed voice, shooting acid from her palms into the eyes of some Watchdogs and chuckling sinisterly as they writhed on the ground and screamed in pain.

"That is MESSED UP!" Brain said, looking at Tory in disgust, who scoffed at his comment. "...You stop, drop, and roll when you're on FIRE, not when you're POISONED!" he finished, missing the point completely.

A group of Watchdogs blasted Mechelle with a flurry of lasers, but they had no effect on her metal frame.

"Your lasers are quite good; let me show you mine." Mechelle fired a red laser from the large cannon on her right shoulder, blasting away the Watchdogs in its path of destruction and burning the Watchdogs in close proximity.

"I almost feel bad beating these guys up." Sakura said as she somersaulted over Watchdog laser blasts and drop-kicked the shooters.

"YOU MORONS CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT!" Lord Hater shouted, "YOU COULDN'T EVEN TAKE OUT THE KOALA!" he continued, witnessing a couple Watchdogs effortlessly getting picked up and thrown by Stitch.

"Sir, we should take a more indirect approach to this battle." Commander Peepers suggested.

"Fine..." Lord Hater grumbled, crossing his arms as the two of them boarded his ship.

Right before the mouth-door of the ship closed, one of the less-injured Watchdogs spoke up, "Uhh, Lord Hater, sir? Can...can we board the ship too?"

"NO! You imbeciles can just lie there until I do what YOU were too incompetent and weak to do!"

"Man, now I really DO feel bad for these guys." Sakura said with a look of pity.

"Don't go soft on us, pinky." Midna snarked.

The mouth-door of Lord Hater's ship suddenly opened wide, and out flew a red mecha with a face that slightly resembled Hater's, clawed fingers and toes, 2 golden shoulder cannons, and 2 jet wings.

"HAHAHA! Scared NOW, fools?!" Lord Hater taunted, controlling the mecha from inside his ship via 2 golden metallic gloves he was wearing.

"Are you kidding me? I've battled robots TWICE that size!" Jenny taunted right back.

"Well maybe THIS will change your attitude!" Commander Peepers mashed 2 red buttons on the ships control panel, causing red lasers to blast rapidly from its eye-windows. At the same time, Lord Hater's mecha shot large skull-shaped cannonballs coated in green flames from its shoulder cannons.

Daffy swung his staff, creating a white forcefield in front of the group, which was strong enough to stop the laser blasts, but the skull cannonballs broke right through. The Sky Chase Dragon flew in front of the group, spread out its wings, and tried to shield them from the skulls, but they were powerful enough to knock the mechanical creature hard into the ground and created large dents in its wings.

"TOO BAD! Looks like your wimpy robot is no match for MINE!" Lord Hater taunted.

"Theres more than one of you, you know!" Jenny jumped in the air, put her legs together, rotated her rocket bangs backwards, and flew upside-down at Lord Hater's ship as her legs morphed into a giant drill. As she got closer and her drill spun quickly, a green bubble shield appeared around the ship. Jenny's drill struck and stuck to the shield, spinning her around before being flung back to the ground.

"THATS how you do a forcefield!" Commander Peepers said.

"We're thinking too big, what we need to do is think small!" Brain exclaimed.

"Enough with your nonsense." Tory said.

"No, he is on the right track." Mechelle said as what looked like a bunch of grey ants began to scramble out of her cannon and swarmed into blobs.

"Oooo!" Brain began to hold out his arm to touch them, but Mechelle lightly pushed him back with her large right hand. However, 'lightly' for Mechelle is relative, as her strength knocked Brain over and made him slide across the ground.

"I'm sorry, I do not know my own strength." Mechelle muttered, looking away in embarrassment. "However, I had to stop you, because you would have died had you come in contact with them."

"So what are those?" Skips asked.

"Nanobots. These special machines will turn any inorganic item they swarm over into more nanobots, eventually creating a deadly event known as Grey Goo."

"Then how come YOU didn't turn into a bunch of little robot bugs?" Brain asked suspiciously, wheeling back to the cyborg Vexian.

"Because they obviously know not to turn on their master. What kind of stupid power would turn on you the moment you use it?" Midna said with a scoff.

"You are right, Twili. The challenge is actually utilizing these nanobots. We need to ground that ship and that mecha." Mechelle explained as her nanobot army grew by swarming over the laser guns of the defeated Watchdogs.

"Okay, we have the second half of our plan worked out, but what about the hard part?" Sakura said, a bit sarcastically.

"With an ally that can go airborne." a familiar voice said.

"What are you doing here, Deoxys? I thought you were dead." Midna plainly said.

"Not quite. I just needed time to regenerate. As long as my core is around, you can't kill me." the DNA Pokemon explained.

"So do you need the play-by-play or what?"

"No, not at all. I know this guy." Deoxys said, narrowing his eyes. He then switched to his Attack forme and flew right up to Lord Hater's ship.

"YOU!" Lord Hater shouted, pointing at Deoxys.

"You want me to blast him, sir?" Commander Peepers asked.

"No. Hold your fire, Peepers. This...THING and I have a score to settle." Lord Hater said an in eerily calm tone.

"Deoxys, you KNOW this guy?" Shaymin asked.

"Yeah, I met this joker in space. I saw his ship pointing this big-ass laser at a nearby planet and he was boasting about blowing it up and crap. I attacked him and our battle lasted a good long while, but I eventually just thought 'screw it', I had already destroyed that laser and it was just a waste of my time." Deoxys explained casually.

"I'M NOT THE JOKER, YOU'RE THE JOKER! I'M NOT THE ONE WHO LOOKS LIKE AN OCTOPUS CROSSED WITH A BALLERINA!" Lord Hater shouted.

"Eh, thats kinda accurate, actually. You got the wide hips, the petit head..." Midna pointed out, slowly scanning her eye across Deoxys' features.

"Oh so I stopped you ONE TIME. Surely a galactic conqueror such as yourself wasn't set back TOO far by one measly little planet!" Deoxys said sarcastically, nearly pinching 2 of his tentacles together.

"NOBODY COMES BETWEEN ME AND MY QUEST FOR GALACTIC DOMINATION!" Lord Hater then turned to his second in command. "PEEPERS! We're switching!"

"But, sir! I can't-!" Commander Peepers was unable to interject, as Lord Hater took off his metallic gloves and put them on Commander Peepers, who fell over due to the gloves size and weight.

"I'll handle Hater; you guys can handle the robot, right?" Deoxys said half-jokingly, changing to his Defense forme.

"TAKE THIS!" Lord Hater grabbed a pencil, put it between the 2 red buttons and over 2 of his fingers, and rapidly flicked it, causing his ship to shoot lasers at an even higher rate of fire than before. Deoxys easily blocked the lasers with his thick tentacles as he flew backwards.

Meanwhile, Lord Hater's robot was just hovering in place with its arms straight downward at its sides.

"Why is it just floating there? Is it broken?" Brain wondered.

"Heh, that poor eyeball guy probably can't control that thing." Midna said, amused.

"Ih! Ih!" Stitch exclaimed, making throwing motions with 2 of his arms and pointing to himself with his other 2.

"You want me to throw you?" Sakura asked, a bit confused.

"Ah-uh! Ah-uh!"

"At the robot?"

"Agaba!"

"Okay." Sakura shrugged, grabbed Stitch, and tossed him at the mecha. Stitch held out his arms, spread out his claws, and latched onto the mecha's body.

"PEEPERS! What are you doing?! GET THAT KOALA OFF OF MY ROBOT!" Lord Hater ordered.

"Sir, I'm trying! I tried to tell you...but...these gloves are...too HEAVY for...me!" Commander Peepers strained, struggling to lift up the gloves. "Can't we...just switch back?"

"NEVER!" Lord Hater retorted, focusing back on Deoxys, who wasn't having any less trouble blocking his shots.

"Come on, Hater. Are you even TRYING anymore? I could probably block your lasers even in my Attack forme!" Deoxys taunted.

"OH YEAH?! Try blocking THIS!" Lord Hater pulled a lever and a large red laser extended out of the mouth of his ship.

"Oh, thats the thing you use to blow up planets, isn't it?" Deoxys continued his taunts, not fazed by the weaponry.

Lord Hater slammed his fist on a button next to the lever and the laser quickly charged up. Right before it fired its searing red beam, Deoxys switched to his Speed forme and flew straight upward, looped around the back of Lord Hater's ship, and switched to his Attack forme underneath it. The core on his chest lit up and shot out a Hyper Beam that destroyed the laser, causing it to plummet where it was caught by Skips.

"THATS IT! I'M DEALING WITH THIS MYSELF!" Lord Hater stormed out of the cockpit and eventually emerged from a hatch leading to the roof.

"Oh, so you're FINALLY going to challenge me face-to-face, Hater? I've been counting on this!" Deoxys said, narrowing his eyes in interest.

"This is NOT going to end well." Commander Peepers said to himself with a sigh. He took of the gloves, left the ships cockpit, and emerged from the mouth in a small black UFO with a red 3-pronged claw underneath it. The UFO hooked itself onto the top of the head of the mecha and gained control of it. Peepers noticed Stitch creating deep claw marks in the mecha's chest as he looked to dismantle the robot from the inside out.

"I don't think so." Peepers grabbed onto 2 golden joysticks inside the UFO and enveloped the robot in green electricity; electrocuting Stitch and causing him to lose his grip and fall to the ground.

"You okay?" Sakura asked the experiment, looking down at him.

"Uh-huh!" Stitch said, jumping to his feet unscathed.

"Wow, you're a lot tougher than you look."

"Speaking of tough..." Skips began, spinning the laser in one hand. He then tossed it right at the mecha, but it caught the laser with both hands and pushed them together; crushing the laser like a can of soda and tossed it right back at Skips. Mechelle's nanobots formed a blockade in front of the yeti and converted the crushed laser into more of them before returning to Mechelle.

"That eyeball is pretty good." Midna commented.

"But why didn't he get in his saucer before now? Thats pretty dumb." Brain wondered.

"Thats the first smart thing you've said." Tory scoffed.

"Because Hater would have my head and think I was bailing, thats why!" Commander Peepers spoke up over an intercom in the UFO.

"You could've told him you could control it with the saucer, you know." Midna pointed out.

"Hater isn't a very good listener..." Commander Peepers said to himself, not knowing it could be heard over the intercom.

"WHAT did you say, Peepers?!" Lord Hater shouted at him.

"Something that was true, otherwise you would have heard him. You're focusing in the wrong thing, Hatey. Focus on your opponent; this isn't a double battle." Deoxys taunted.

"As you WISH!" Lord Hater fired bolts of green lightning from his hands, which caught Deoxys off guard and hit him hard, due to his severely weakened defenses in his Attack forme.

"Whats wrong, Deoxys?! What happened to all of that big talk of yours?!" Lord Hater said; him being the one to throw the taunts this time.

"Need some help?" Shaymin said, flying up to him.

"No, I can handle this!" Deoxys strained.

"Oh yeah, you TOTALLY got it under control..." Shaymin said sarcastically. "Hey, Hater! I'm going to dazzle you!" A bright silver aura surrounded Shaymin and needle-shaped streams of silver light were fired at Lord Hater.

"NO! What IS this?!" Lord Hater exclaimed, shielding his eyes.

"Maybe you should've worn those contacts you gave your minions!"

"SHUT UP! I don't need to take this from a flying rabbit!"

"A rabbit? I'm a hedgehog-turned-reindeer, dummy!"

"Alright, I guess I should be thankful, Shaymin..." Deoxys grumbled, shifting into his Speed forme and crossing his tentacles. "Hey, Hatey! Can you keep up with me?!" Deoxys began rapidly dashing into Lord Hater from all angles.

"And while you do THAT..." Around Shaymin, small seeds began to build up.

"WAIT! What is that antelope thing doing?!" Lord Hater exclaimed.

"Oh just charging up your demise." Deoxys said, switching to his Defense forme and wrapping his tentacles around Lord Hater.

"LET ME GO!"

"Heh, as you wish." Deoxys said, seeing Shaymin's Seed Flare fully charged up, and did so.

"SEEEEED FLARE!" Shaymin fired the seeds in the form of a powerful green shockwave that knocked Lord Hater right off the top of his ship and to the ground below.

"C-PEEPS! We're leaving!" Lord Hater shouted, standing up and brushing himself off.

Commander Peepers tried to protest. "But sir! I'm-!"

"I SAID NOW!"

With a sigh, Commander Peepers held out the arms of the mecha and sent out 2 red tractor beams from the arms. One tractor beam gathered up the Watchdogs; the other grabbed Lord Hater. He piloted the mecha back into the ship, and after a moment, they retreated. After another moment, the barrier of darkness separating the group faded and they met back up.

"Soooo...did your guys run away?" Midna asked the other group.

"Yeah, did yours?" Zuko asked.

"Yep."

"Well it was probably the smart thing for them to do, since we could've killed them." Scamper stated.

"Oh yeah, same here. Hater would've gone down." Deoxys said.

"Look, they don't matter right now. What we should be focused on is what they were trying to stop us from getting to. There is something on the other side of this forest, and we gotta find out what." Skips explained.

"He's right. We better get going before someone else shows up." Seth added.

The group continued their journey through the forest, and about 15 minutes later, they finally reached the end. Before them was a huge turquoise tower with a vaguely shuttlecock-like shape. Various rings of green magical runes could be seen rotating around the upper regions of the tower.

"THIS is what was so important?! A damn TOWER?!" Toadsuke exclaimed.

"Do not pass judgment until we explore the confines of the structure." X-Head Cannon told him/her.

The group walked up to the tower's entrance, which was two large sliding doors made of stained glass with intricate designs.

Homestar Runner whistled, impressed. "Faaaancyyy!"

"I don't think we've come all this way just to admire a door." Kaiba sneered.

"No dip, Sherlock..." Kazooie sneered right back.

The doors slid open and the group walked in; the interior being large enough to easily occupy even the Sky Chase Dragon. Inside the tower were rounded bookcases taller than the eyes could see. A spiral ramp trailed along the circumference of the tower and led to ring-shaped upper levels; providing access to more books higher up on the shelves. There were also various corridors, but they appeared to be sealed off by green magical runes. Lastly, a large skylight was atop the tower, which provided a green tint to the innards of the tower as a result of the magical rings that surrounded it.

"Aww, all the way here for a bunch of BOOKS?!" Brain complained.

"You probably wouldn't be saying that if you could actually, you know, READ." Scamper snarked.

"Don't you know reading is power?" a calming female voice said.

"Who said that?" Homestar Runner asked, shifting his eyes from left to right.

"I dunno, but her voice makes me feel...happy." MetalMamemon said, sighing calmly.

"...No, but sewiouswy, who said that?"

A pillar of turquoise light shined in front of the group and a woman with long magenta hair appeared before them. She was wearing a silver outfit that almost looked like armor, only with long ribbons hanging from the torso that made it slightly resemble a dress. She was also wearing a large silver hat in an almost conical shape that hung downward a little at the top with 2 long ribbons hanging from the sides: Highpriestess of Prophecy.

"Wow, Sakura. She looks like you from the future." Itachi joked, nudging the ninja in question.

"I am Highpriestess of Prophecy; you can call me Highpriestess for short." she said.

"So are you a librarian or something?" Brain asked.

"No, not at all. I am a spellcaster on a quest for knowledge. You are in the Grand Spellbook Tower, a building filled with spellbooks and all the knowledge you could ever desire."

"Why in the world would Hater and them not want us to find out about a library?" Deoxys wondered.

"Hmm...Hey, Highpriestess, you wouldn't happen to have any info about Lumiere and Tenebris, would you?" Jenny asked.

"Oh of course. I'm not surprised thats the knowledge you are seeking. I'll go retrieve them for you; they are sealed away in a secret area to keep out evildoers." Highpriestess said and vanished in a pillar of turquoise light.

"So THATS what they were keeping us from." Banjo said.

"She must have some juicy info if they wanted to keep us away." MetalMamemon said.

After a moment, Highpriestess appeared again, holding a book wrapped in turquoise chains of energy with a black top cover and a white back cover. She grabbed the chains and they slowly faded, then she began to slowly open the cover.

At that moment, Mechelle charged forward, catching everyone off-guard, and swatted Highpriestess to the ground with her incredible strength.

"What the fag-hell?!" Toadsuke exclaimed.

Nanobots then began crawling out of Mechelle's shoulder cannon and swarming for the book, but the book, as well as Highpriestess, became enveloped in a white bubble shield that the bots couldn't breach. It and Highpriestess were then levitated to the center of the tower floor and a white pillar-shaped shield that stretched all the way to the top of the tower surrounded the bookshelves; only allowing the spiral ramp and the circumference of the bottom floor for any room.

"Mechelle! Whats gotten into you?!" Zuko shouted.

"Hater's great; best villain." she said in an even more robotic tone than usual.

"Thats the same dumb chant those eyeballs were saying!" Daffy exclaimed.

"Somehow, Hater must've been able to knock her unconscious and now she's on his side." Seth said.

"How is dat even powsibble?" Homestar Runner asked.

"It could've had something to do with those weapons her nanobots absorbed." Skips theorized.

"So what, their lasers were made of evil or something?" Midna said sarcastically.

"Nevermind HOW it happened, lets just knock her out!" Kazooie exclaimed.

Mechelle was occupied with slamming at the barrier with her fists while firing Heat Lasers, but her power was no match for the barrier.

"You're wasting your time. It takes something more than brute strength to break through." a voice said.

"NOW whose thewre?" Homestar Runner asked.

There was a rectangular burst of light and floating in the barrier was Melissa.

"YOU again?!" Kazooie exclaimed.

Melissa looked at the group solemnly. "I apologize for my behavior earlier. I knew nothing of this world, and finding myself in an unfamiliar land with no way of gaining knowledge about it, a land that reminded me of my past as an apprentice to an evil witch, and a land filled with danger and individuals I knew nothing about was all too much for me. I knew you all could handle yourselves and I did not wish to say or do anything that I know I would regret, so I left abruptly. On my quest for knowledge, I discovered this tower and met Highpriestess of Prophecy; another sorceress who also yearns for wisdom. We've learned many things about-"

"Would you shut up already?!" Kaiba said.

After a moment, Melissa cleared her throat. "Return Mechelle to her normal self and I'll put down this barrier. I assume the lot of you can take her down?"

"Leave it to us." Toaster told her.

"Take this! CHIDORI!" Toadsuke held out his/her hand and a spiked blue turtle shell appeared in it. He/she jumped at Mechelle and slammed the shell into her back, which shattered the shell with a powerful crash and knocked Mechelle's head hard into the barrier.

"Did THAT get your attention, fag-bot?!" Toadsuke taunted as Mechelle turned around to face the group.

"Hater's great; best villain." she said in the same tone as before. Nanobots began to slowly crawl out of her shoulder cannon again and swarm into towering blobs.

"X-Head Cannon! Brain! Bobert! Genesect! MetalMamemon! Toaster! Sky Chase Dragon! Jenny! Get to the next floor, quick!" Skips ordered. The machines did so; knowing there wasn't nearly as much breathing room in the tower as there was in the forest.

"Didn't realize we had so many robots on our team..." Daffy muttered.

"Tch." Kaiba held out a card and from it appeared a brown, muscular, humanoid beast wearing spiked blue-green armor and wielding a thick double-bladed sword: Vorse Raider.

Vorse Raider slashed through the Nanobots, spinning its blade like a helicopter whenever any would try swarming the weapon, and thrusted its sword right at Mechelle's face, but the Vexian blocked it with her large right arm.

"Block THIS!" Sakura ran up to Mechelle and delivered a powerful punch right to the side of her face. The impact slammed her head hard into the side of her shoulder cannon. Mechelle gritted her teeth, swatted Vorse Raider back, and sized up Sakura.

"You think I'm afraid of you?!" Sakura shouted, trying to hide the shaking of her voice.

"Sakura, you aren't fooling anyone." Itachi said, appearing behind her. "AMATERASU!" The Uchiha shot a burst of black fire from his left eye, cloaking Mechelle in searing black flames.

"Hater's great; best villain." Mechelle, through the flames, transformed into her Overdrive Mode: A kind of battle vehicle with a rectangular body with her head atop it, two caterpillar treads on the sides, and 4 mechanical arms with a weapon on each one. One was red and had a ball and chain, another was lime-green and had a spiked mallet, the third was yellow and had an electric shocker, and the fourth was orange and had a backhoe shovel. She spun her mechanical arms like a windmill, which the heroes ducked to avoid, that put out the flames of Itachi's attack. (Like XYZ-Dragon Cannon, I believed this form appeared earlier in the story, but I described it again for reader convenience.)

"Come on! Its already cramped in here!" Shaymin complained.

Mechelle swung her spiked mallet downward at Olimar, Banjo, and Kazooie. Skips jumped forward, caught it, and pulled to yank it off, but Mechelle swung her ball and chain and knocked him away. Tory fired streams of acid and Zuko fired streams of fire, but neither attack did any damage.

"This robot is tougher than that tank we fought!" Kazooie exclaimed.

Mechelle thrusted her electric shocker arm at Chaos, but Pain sent out a shockwave of invisible force that spun the arm backward.

Seth jumped over the arm and held his arms out behind him. "Dark Storm!" Bolts of black electricity appeared in the area in front of his outstretched arms, shutting down the electric current on the arm. Mechelle gritted her teeth again and pinned Seth up against the barrier by his neck with the tuning fork-shaped shockless arm. Olimar tossed some jagged, bulky, grey Pikmin with stubby arms and legs, which created large dents in the arm. Stitch clambered up the barrier, grabbed the arm, ripped it clean off, and smacked Mechelle on the head with it.

"Hater's great; best villain." She tore the arm out of the experiment's hands with a swing of her backhoe arm and it slammed into the wall with a loud clang.

"Oh, great, we got ONE down..." Toadsuke grumbled. "HEY FAG-MECHS, GET DOWN HERE AND DO SOMETHING! THE NANOBUGS ARE GONE!"

Genesect dashed down the ramp with the light atop its laser turning red, and shot a Fire-type Techno Blast at Mechelle. She tried to "catch" the laser with the bucket of her backhoe arm, but she underestimated its power and the bucket was blasted clean off and crashed into the wall behind her.

"Two down, two more to go now..." Toadsuke grumbled again.

Genesect prepared to fire another Techno Blast, but Mechelle wasn't about to fall for the same thing twice. She swung her ball and chain arm hard, creating a large dent in Genesect's laser and knocking the Pokemon into the barrier.

X-Head Cannon drove down the ramp, having merged with Y-Dragon Head and Z-Metal Tank to become XYZ-Dragon Cannon while on the second floor.

"Fire." XYZ-Dragon Cannon fired missiles from Z-Metal Tank, a white beam from Y-Dragon Head, and artillery shells from X-Head Cannon. Mechelle swung her ball and chain forward, toppling the top-heavy machine onto its back, and made the missiles detonate prematurely by swinging her spiked mallet arm.

"I've got this one." Jenny said. She pointed her pigtails upside-down, flipped in the air, put her legs together, and flew backwards toward Mechelle's ball and chain arm with her legs morphing into giant clippers, which she used to snip Mechelle's chain right in two.

"Three down, one more to go, fags." Toadsuke said.

Mechelle began swinging her spiked mallet arm wildly, trying to destroy anything she could in her blind fury.

"Looks like somebodys getting a little grumpy." Midna taunted.

"Affirmative. Initiating hand-to-hand combat mode." Bobert said, and morphed his pincher arms into black boxing glove-shaped fists. The small robot swung one of his arms at the ball-shaped pivot between Mechelle's spiked mallet arm and her body. This strike made a big enough dent to severely limit the maneuverability of the arm; all Mechelle could do is move the 2 upper joints of the arm, which prevented her from swinging it horizontally.

"Hater's great; best villain." she uttered, flailing her spiked mallet arm up and down aimlessly. The Sky Chase Dragon, now with a clear shot at her cranium, drove its stinger tail right into the back part of her skull. After a moment, all of the parts of her Overdrive Mode dissolved into nanobots and crawled into her shoulder cannon. The Sky Chase Dragon slowly removed its stinger as Mechelle's visor slowly powered down from its red glow. She fell forward, and after a moment, nanobots crawled out of her cannon and covered her completely.

"Rebooting...Reboot completed." Mechelle said. The nanobots crawled back into her shoulder cannon once more, revealing that she had been healed completely. Mechelle slowly stood up and looked at the chaos surrounding her.

"Looks like we gotta put this robot in her place again." Daffy said, holding out his staff.

"No! Please do not!" Mechelle ordered, "You all knocked me unconscious, and as a result, when I rebooted, my alliance changed to match yours."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I already explained this to you guys." Seth said with a grimace.

"Sow now dat Mechewlle is back to nowrmowl, you can puwt down the shiewld, wright?" Homestar Runner asked, looking at Highpriestess and Melissa. After a moment, both of them nodded and the barrier faded.

"Alright, but I'm going to keep my guard up, just to be safe. Highpriestess will educate you." Melissa explained.

"Now then..." Highpriestess held up the book and slowly opened the cover.

"Hm, looks like the heroes are about to get a whole lot closer to stopping you." Lumiere said.

"Do not get ahead of yourself; knowing is not the same as doing. However, I will admit that those two sorceress' are very clever, and I should not have trusted pawns as incompetent as Bowser, Robotnik, and Hater to stop your pieces from reaching that tower." Tenebris said.

"Looks like you aren't as perfect as you think you are."

"How knowledgeable we suddenly are." Tenebris said condescendingly, "Perfection does not exist. Every being, every form of matter, every idea is flawed in some fashion."

"Of course, but the key is finding those imperfections so you can learn from, fix, and prevent them."

"And that is precisely what I plan on accomplishing. Lets see how magic fares against the ultimate beast of destruction!"

Get ready for a big worldbuilding bomb to drop!...Next time we loop back around to this chapters group! And don't worry, Kaiba won't cut off the worldbuilding like he usually does...

I had a lot of fun writing the dialog between Bowser and Eggman, as well as Lord Hater's dialog.
