A/N: So I know it is mainly a cs story, but I want to show the rest of the characters and their lives, too. So this chapter is going to be more about Mary Margret and David and the next will be more focused on Regina and Robin.

Later that night...

"Looks like you finally met your match, Mary Margret!" Regina laughed out. "You guys have no idea how good this feels. We have all been trying to take her down for years."

Ruby, Emma, and Killian sat gathered around the kitchen table where Mary Margret and Robin played scrabble. Regina stood behind Robin rubbing his shoulders with pure excitement.

"Is nobody on my side? Really?" Mary Margret studied her tiles, then the board. "David? Not even you?"

"Baby, I love you, but this is so fun to watch." David bit into a slice of pizza. "But hey, if you win this I'll stop bugging you about the center pieces being too small."

"Fine. But they aren't too small. We want our guests to be able to talk to each other and not have a giant case in their face while they eat, David." Mary Margret defended her point strongly, giving David a look that could only be translated as a strong 'you're on'. "But you also have to let me help choose the tux."

"Be careful mate, give the lady too much power now, you won't even be able to choose your own socks in the near future." Killian joked, but only received a laugh from Robin and David; and an annoyed look from all the other girls. And as soon as he realized it, he tried to recover. "But of course, happy wife, happy life. Uhh.. and you know women know best and all that."

"Nice save, buddy." Ruby patted him on the back and chuckled.

"Well say bye-bye to your socks, pal, because.." Mary Margret puts down her last word "QUIXOTRY" and won, once again.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me. We were so close!" Ruby wined out. "I know what I am getting everyone for Christmas, some damn dictionaries." She grabbed another slice of pizza and walked to the couch and plopped down; Killian soon followed her and sat next to her and handed her a beer.

"That was the most intense game of scrabble I have ever witnessed." His laugh carrying that same rich tone he had when he talked. "Do your girl's nights always include friendship-threatening levels of game play before you go and get plastered like yesterday?"

David, Mary Margret, Robin, and Regina followed them in the living room. "I'm sure yesterday was bad, but I doubt it was anywhere near as bad as some of their nights have gone." David said without realizing what he said until seconds after saying it. He had completely forgotten that the girls had said they didn't want to ever discuss that night again. It wasn't that they were ashamed of what that night led to, but they were all aware that it wasn't their best moment and as a vow to try to hold up their dignity until after they graduated and not talk about it to anyone else who wasn't somehow involved in that event. "I mean, you know, they can be a handful. But I don't need to tell you guys that, you've seen 'em." Nailed it. He very quietly whispered to himself.

"Yeah. Anyways, have you guys thought about where to go for our trip?" Ruby tries to get the conversation directed to something else. "You see, ever since our senior year in high school, we made it a tradition to go on a trip for the winter vacation and, if possible, the summer also." She said turning to Killian and Robin.

"And, we were wondering if you guys would want to join this year. It can be really fun if you arent hung over half the time." Mary Margret joked, taking a sip of her ice cold lemonade that David took. "Speaking of which, how are you drinking beer after how much you puked last night?"

"A beer the night after helps the hangover and is good luck" Ruby responded very sure of herself.

"I've always thought the same thing to be quite honest." Killian laughed out. "And as for the trip, I am completely honored you would want us to join in on such a fun tradition. I'd love to go. Uhm, how about skiing? Or we could visit the Grand Canyon!" He said a little too excited, judging by all their reaction to him exclaiming out for the Grand Canyon.

"Emma, what do you think?" David asked, Emma still in the kitchen, typing away on her laptop. "Any ideas? You seem super quiet."

"Actually, I don't think I can make it. I might have to spend it with my family this year. You know, holiday season and whatever." Emma explained. "Mom wants to have a family Christmas Eve Dinner and gift opening Christmas day. But, hey I'll see if things change."

"Aw, Em! But we do it every year, they never said anything before." Ruby said sadly. "But I get it, family likes family time."

"Yeah Emma, it's not going to be the same without you. Remember two years ago? You and that man arguing over who got to the slot machine first and you called him... what was it? Jabba the Hutt's uglier brother." Regina laughed out the last words, remembering how serious Emma was yelling at a man three times her size. Everyone else, including Emma laughed at that memory. "She was standing there in front of this man who was at least three times her size, big big guy, he was wearing a leather vest and baggy pants, and small Emma in a little blue dress, looking up at him. She was so serious, and angry, and it was just hilarious. The best part was that he was the one to give up and walk away looking defeated."

"Bloody hell woman, you just love to fight don't you?" Killian joked, but only received a cold 'yeah I guess so.' from Emma as she got up and started to clean the kitchen.

"Here let me help you, we were going to leave soon, but I don't want to leave you with such a mess." Mary Margret said walking to the kitchen and began clearing the table as Emma threw away boxes of pizza.

"Thanks, I just don't want to leave it for later when I get too lazy, you know?" She wasn't surprised Mary Marget offered to help; and knew better than to argue with her over it, because it was a fight she lost many times before.

After the entire kitchen was cleaned, trash thrown out, dishes clean and living room picked up everyone got up to leave and were saying good bye. The first to head out were Killian and Robin, followed by Ruby and then David and Mary Margret. David went to hug Emma and couldn't stop himself from asking Emma about Killian. "You know his face dropped when you said you weren't going on the trip."

"Yeah right. He was basically super glued to the hip with Ruby, I think he likes her, not me. Not that I care or whatever, because I don't at all. I mean I care if they are happy, because why wouldn't I want my friends happy?" Emma was obviously hurrying her words out. "Seriously though, I don't think I'm even interested in that. Him. But yeah."

"Sure thing Emma, I'll see you later okay?" He said as he hugged her again and gave her a big bear hug.

Walking back to David's apartment was very fast and cold, but Mary Margret managed to stay warm by having David hold onto her tightly. They didn't talk, didn't even look at each other much. They didn't feel the need to, because feeling each others warmth and having each others company felt perfect to them.

As soon as they got home, they got into some comfortable pajamas, brushed their teeth and washed their face, and got into bed. They were very warmly snuggled up in bed, David holding his beautiful fiancee in his arms and giving her kisses on her forehead and shoulder. "I love you, you know that?" He whispered to her gently.

"I love you, too. I can't wait to be married to you." Mary Margret replied with her eyes closed and laying comfortably on her fiance's chest. "If only it wasn't so much work. But if I'm being honest, I do enjoy the thrill of it all. It is really fun, just stressful at times."

"Well, you know, we can move the wedding up and still have the fun of planning it all. Just maybe make it a little more simple than what we were originally going to have." David's voice giving to indication that he was ready to sleep, but rather wide awake.

"Wait seriously? You want to get married sooner than what we discussed?" Mary Margret sat up and any exhaustion she had were long gone. "You realize that's a lot more work to pull off right? Okay. Okay, well being married to you sooner sounds amazing and pulling off a great wedding in a shorter time sounds like a fun challenge... Yes! Okay, yes, let's do it!" She plotted a huge kiss on his lips and hugged him so tight he had to ask her to loosen her grip. "Baby, you are so great. But you know you are going to be twice as involved in the planning now, I'll have a list for you tomorrow, just a bunch of phone calls okay? We are going to have a simple fun wedding and have to cancel some stuff, but it will okay, because I have the greatest man to help me." She showered his face with kisses and finally on his lips again. "I am so excited I won't sleep so easily, but I really have to get some rest. Good night, my love."

"Good night, princess." David fell asleep with a big grin on his face. He was so happy to talk to her about moving up the wedding and marrying her sooner. He has been thinking about calling her his wife as soon as she'd allow it for quite a couple days already. He loved her so much that just the thought of having her in his life made him smile.

Okay so I know it probably wasn't what people were expecting, but I swear it is all important to the story and I hope you all enjoyed some gooey-lovey snowing moments.
