"Weeeendy!" Natsu yelled, pulling out of one of his drawers all his socks and stuff.
"Yeah, Natsu?" The little girl with messy bed hair replied in a tired voice, once she reached Natsu's room, stopping on the doorway. She was wearing only a large white shirt and had a toothbrush in her right hand.
"Where are all my underpants?!"
"Eh ... Eeeeeeeh!?" Wendy shouted, backing away with a face as red as a tomato.
"Sooo?" Natsu asked again, irritated.
"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but, Natsu, we decided that each of us would have w-w-washed their own-"
"Argh! If I loose too much time, Lucy will go to school without me-Mpfh!"A pair of underpants, landed on Natsu's face blocking him from continuing to scream.
"Stop screaming like an idiot, ash brains! And put those, if you've lost your underwear! "Gajeel yelled, coming out of his room only in his underwear and a towel around his neck.
"What the fuck are these things?! I'm not wear them-Argh!" Now an alarm clock collided with his face, stopping him from speaking.
"Will ya stop throwing things at my face-Woah!" Natsu yelled, before dodging Gajeel's metallic punch, which hit the wall behind the boy.
"Shut up and look at the alarm clock." Natsu gulped and looked down at the alarm clock in his hands before his eyes widened.
"Shit, I'm late!" He shouted rising to his feet. He was about to go into the bathroom, but stopped abruptly. He turned around to quickly throw with all his strength the alarm towards Gajeel's face, who stepped back a couple of steps before falling on the ground.
"What the hell are you doing, you jerk?!"
"Payback, bitch!"
"Whaaat? Wanna die?"
"Oh? Feeling almighty and shit today, huh?"
"Well, at least I have some fucking pants!"
"Your pants, suck!"
"Fuck, thank goodness I arrived in time ... Pant ... Pant .." Natsu breathed, stopping in front of the fountain, bent in two because of the race he did to get there on time. Straightening up after a while, he looked around for his friends, as he pulled a bit on his scarf. He saw Mirajane and the others around Lucy like every day and smiling he joined them.
"Hey, Luce! How's it going? "He said, hugging the surprise blonde by the side. He Approached her ear to whisper:
"Can you smell my perfume?" Blushing at the speed of light, Lucy pushed herself against his chest stuttering something not understandable.
"Hey, you clown! Stop being so lovely dovey every morning. It's disgusting."
"Haaah? Wanna fight? "Natsu yelled walking towards Gray, to have a face to face clash before starting to fight as usual.
"Tch, stupid jerk." Lucy heard a hoarse voice say from behind her and with the corner of her eye she saw Gajeel stop beside her.
"Oi, Blondie, I hope you'll keep your promise." The boy said, glaring at the blonde who scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Just do your work, and I'll erase the photo from my phone. Otherwise you know what will happen. "
"Huh? W-wait, oi-Argh! "A bicycle hit Gajeel in the face out of nowhere, causing him to fall to the ground on his back. Lucy sighed before going to school, ignoring the third world war that broke out behind her.
The plan was simple and cruel, yet not so easy to do it. For the location, Lucy had thought about, during the break time, in the cafeteria because it was almost always crowded with a lot of people. But, there was a problem. What could she do to make sure that Natsu would lose his pants or that everyone could see his underpants and make him suffer the same or worse humiliation, that she had because of him?
"C'mon Luce, let's go before the Tabasco bread runs out!" Natsu yelled, pulling the blonde down the school's halls, towards the cafeteria.
"Calm down! Nobody's gonna buy that thing anyways!" Lucy shouted back, trying to keep up with the boy.
"Hello Natsu!" The cashier said, putting her elbows on the counter.
"Hey Kinana, the same as always and a simple sandwich." Natsu replied with his typical smile, which irritated a bit Lucy. How could he smile so easily to whoever he wanted? She felt... jealous .. but she did not know what these feelings were exactly. She knew only them by definition and not how it was to try them on her own skin.
"Oh? A simple sandwich? For who? Could it be ... "She asked surprised, straightening herself before watching Lucy.
"Your girlfriend?"
"Hmmm? Yeah."
"No!" Natsu and Lucy said together, before looking at each other and continuing to scream yes and no earning everyone's attention in the cafeteria.
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your girlfriend!?"
"Oh come on, everyone knows that you can't stay without me! You even begged me to come here with you!"Natsu said looking bored at her, while Lucy speechlessly backed away with a hand over her mouth.
"Y-you liar! I didn't I beg you! I just asked you if you wanted to come here with me!"
"Now now now, Don't fight... "Kinana tried to stop the 2 teens but to no avail, until this lila haired girl, appeared out of nowhere.
"Here's your sandwiches, now go to eat. You're blocking the line. "Laki said, giving the 2 of them their respective sandwiches and pushing them away from the cashier.
Passing between the cafeteria's tables Lucy glanced at Gajeel who simply nodded before getting up and coming to meet them halfway just to pull Natsu away and bring him to a table which by pure coincidence, was in front of the one where Gray and Juvia were sitting.
We still don't know why, but after a couple of seconds Juvia jumped to her feet and ran away screaming that she had no time, leaving behind a stunned Gray and a couple of guys who were thrown out of her way in order to pass. Lucy had gathered all her courage and ignored her pride, to go to Gray's table. She sat in front of the guy who looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
The temperature strangely began to raised in that giant room and pulling on the collar of her shirt to enlarge the opening, she said:
"Hey, umm ... I kind of have something to ask you ..."
"Haaaanh?" Gray replied with his mouth full, before swallowing another piece of his sandwich. With a stressed sigh, Lucy ran a hand through her hair and was about to speak again, when she was stopped by Natsu's growl. The boy was now standing on the table screaming how strong he was while spitting fire. Looking at that show Lucy regained her courage and immediately turned towards Gray, to say in a determined voice, almost as an order while handing him a strange bottle of water:
"Bring him down."
"I was going to do it, anyway!" Gray replied before getting up on the table, to draw Natsu's attention and throwing against him that opened bottle of water, which unfortunately struck him on the shoulders as he backed away trying to block it. In the blink of an eye the chaos arose.
"Hah! Do ya really think a bit of water is goin' to make me-" Natsu suddenly stopped talking when he felt his clothes getting wet. But not where he was hit, that is, on the shoulders. Looking down he saw the puddle of water expand and wet his clothes even more. No problem for a fire mage, right? Well, that wasn't normal water, since it came from the Starry world. A water that can't be evaporated, solidified and stopped. When it comes into contact with the enemy it expands until it covers the entire surface, then it activates before it suddenly shrinks till it totally massacres the victim.
Natsu quickly pulled his shirt up and saw that his skin was covered in a weird blue substance with some strange white glowing writings.
Oh shit! Natsu thought before taking his scarf and t-shirt off, remaining shirtless. He was about to take off his pants too when he remembered what kind of underpants he was wearing. A soft blush appeared on his face before he jumped down from the table to run away.
Knocking down everyone in his way and running like a madman, Natsu finally entered the science lab. He knew that no one was going to be there, since there was no strong odor coming from that room. After he closed the door behind him, he immediately removed his pants. He suddenly heard somebody's voice on the other side of the door ready to come in, so he desperately looked for a place to hide. Two people came in and left without even realizing Natsu's presence in that room, who was hiding next to a skeleton, pretending to be lifeless.
After a frustrated sigh, Natsu looked at his body's reflection in a cupboard with glass doors and after a couple of curse words he took off his pants again. Who, in the whole school, could use a magic that had something to do with the Starry world? He though angrily. And that was when a little voice in his head reminded him that he still didn't know what kind of magic Lucy had.

Suddenly Natsu turned around to come face to face with a surprised Lucy who was keeping the lab's door closed behind her. But he wasn't scared nor surprised, by her sudden appearance. Noooo. It was something else. Stunned perhaps? As if he'd been strongly hit by something that turned him to stone. For a certain reason Lucy has pulled down her high ponytail, letting her hair surround her face giving her a pure and innocent aura.
"Oh? I-I didn't know you were here. "She said a bit surprised but not too much. She knew how to fake her emotions quite well.
"Ah...Umm ... Er...Uh..." Natsu wasn't capable of forming an intelligent sentence at that time. Feeling even more embarrassed, he blushed and he was sure Lucy had noticed it because whenever Natsu would feel really embarrassed or angry the temperature around him would tend to increase drastically.
"W-woah, it's so hot in here..." Lucy said, fanning herself with one hand as she watched Natsu biting on his lower lip and nod, while looking away.
"Weird.. Usually by this time you would be in the cafeteria beating everyone up, even the teachers." The blonde continued, as she slowly walked towards the boy, who would just gulp and occasionally peek at her.
"But I don't care. I'm just here to take my... science notebook. "The girl whispered seductively, as her face was very close to his face. Suddenly his eyes widened, as Lucy slammed her hands on the table behind Natsu, imprisoning him. Seeing Fairy Tail's school's strongest fighter bright red and surprised at the same time, only in his underwear was a really funny sight. His face close up, seemed even more as a child's one and it was almost as if it was inviting her to caress it. Staring at him with lifeless eyes Lucy raised her left hand to bring it up to Natsu's face.
She was about to stroke his cheek when she suddenly and strongly slapped Natsu's face out of the way, knocking him to the ground and with the other hand she took her notebook which was on the shelf.
"I-I'm going!" Lucy quickly said before leaving the room at the speed of light with a little blush on her cheeks which she tried to hide behind a hand.
Natsu was still on the ground, more surprised than before, yet soon his lips turned into a smirk, which almost always didn't show anything good. Oh ,yes. He had seen it perfectly, that strong blush that Lucy tried to hide behind her hand as she ran away. Nothing could escape Natsu's good eyesight.
"She sure has a strong slap, ehe." He giggled confidently, standing up while looking at the door. It was then that he slowly realized that he was still in danger. Looking immediately down his eyes widened when they saw no blue substance on his body.
W-what happened? Where's the water? He wondered, as he touched his sculptured abdomen and tried to look behind his back. He tried to find an explanation, but couldn't think of anything else than Lucy and her stunning figure. God, she was beautiful. She was a unique person. Beautiful and at the same mysterious too, which made her stand out even more. Like the stars in the dark night. But this mystery was starting to annoy him. He wanted to know more about her and her past, and especially what kind of magic she used.
You may not know, but in every magic school, there was this famous rumor going around that if 2 mages with compatible magic, if they'd go out together after having the same dream they would have a happy life together. Natsu had never believed in this stupid rumor. He would watch from the darkness how some of his friends who believed in this thing, have it tested. He silently watched how they tried to show how happy they were together as if nothing and no one could separate them.
He continued to lie, trying to convince himself it was a stupid gossip. But in reality he liked the idea of having a child to whom he could tell how strong and wonderful his father, Igneel, was and also how he disappeared one day leaving him alone without an explanation or warning.
Maybe he didn't know what magic she had, but recently he would have some really strange dreams that he would vaguely remember. A little blonde girl, that in each of his dream was running away from something or someone, but he could never find out who it was.
Scratching his head Natsu looked around before pulling his pants up and leave the science lab shirtless just to take a disciplinary note from the first professor he would met on his way.
The next day, when Natsu came to school he almost didn't burned it all down. Pictures of him in his underwear with pink cupcakes as decorations, were scattered through the school. Who dared to make fun of the strongest fighter, the strongest delinquent of Magnolia? If he would have found the bastard who did that prank he would have buried him alive.
Natsu was walking down a hallway of the immense school, glaring at anyone and emanating a murderous aura, scaring even some professors. Lucy looked at him from a window beating a couple of guys down in the backyard, and feeling a little worried about the whole human race, she decided to come forward and tell him the truth before he tried to annihilate everyone.
"Tell me who the fuck took these damn photos, right now, before I crush your skull!" Natsu yelled, holding another student by the collar, who looked like he was about to lose his consciousness at any moment.
"I know who did it." The pink-haired boy, turned his head immediately around to see Lucy look at him with a smirk and with her arms crossed over her chest. Throwing the boy on the ground, Natsu turned towards Lucy giving her his full attention. The blonde took her phone and showed him a picture of him in his underwear.
"Notice anything strange?" Natsu walked at a rapid pace toward the girl to take her phone and watch the photo carefully. Slowly, Natsu's confused expression transformed into a surprised one and lastly an angry one.
"This is payback for the embarrassment I had to go trough with the tattoo." Lucy replied, showing him her tattoo on her right hand. The boy lowered his head, hiding his eyes behind his bangs and scoffed before starting to laugh to himself. Before Lucy could ask him what he had to laugh about, he curled an arm around her waist and pulled her towards him, to whisper into her ear:
"This is war. Get ready to cry. "A little stunned by Natsu's words, the girl blushed, bit her lip and glared at him, even if she couldn't do it well. In that moment and from that angle Natsu was way too sexy even with that baby face of his. She replied with a simple:
"Y-y-you'll be the one to cry." After that day, Natsu and Lucy did nothing but prank themselves with pranks of all kinds, heavy, light, scary, which caused nothing but embarrassment, completely forgetting about the tasks they had to do and also about Natsu's exam approaching faster than ever.
"Pinkyyyy!" Lucy screamed, after the 25th bucket of colored paint fell on her.
"Lu-chan, I'm happy to see that you're having fun with Natsu but-"
"I'm not having fun!" Lucy immediately stopped Levy, who had offered to help her remove the paint from the hair.
"That idiot doesn't know that a woman's hair is like her life! Grrr! Next time I see him, I'll show him what it means to pour paint on someone. INDELIBLE paint. Kekeke. "Lucy smirked, chuckling wickedly, with a hand over her mouth.
"Lu-chan, you're scaring me. However, this isn't what I wanted to say ... "
"Then, what? Tell me quickly, I have to go buy indelible paint." The blonde said, rising from her chair while closing her shirt.
"Do you remember the exam that we need to do, that Natsu has to do?" Levy asked, looking concerned at the other girl in front of her, who looked back at her without any expression.
"It's tomorrow." After having deciphered the information given by the girl, Lucy's eyes widened before screaming and running away, searching for the stupid pink-haired boy.
"Pinky! Come out nooooow! "Lucy screamed, after searching through the school's whole field.
"What's wrong, Lucy?" Lucy turned around, hearing her name, bu she immediately realized that it was Makarov.
"Not now master, I'm trying to find Pinky! We-...W-well, we have to study biology!" The blonde girl lied before running away.
"Master? Hahaha. I don't know what you're doing Natsu, but you're changing this girl for the better, thank you. "
"I'm not changing her Gramps. This is the real Lucy. "Natsu said, coming down from the tree near Makarov, also looking towards Lucy running and screaming around the sports field, stopping every now and then a passer-by to ask him something.
"Are you going to stand here and watch her while she's search for you like crazy, all over the school?" The old man asked, receiving a smile and an energetic nod from the boy.
"You know that the exam, the one you have to absolutely pass and be in the top ten, it's tomorrow, right?" Natsu nodded this time slower.
"Ohhh, then I don't have to worry." The man said, walking away from Natsu but after a few steps he stopped and said:
"Ah, I forgot, if you don't pass that test, you'll be expelled from school." Natsu stood still for a few seconds, smiling with his eyes closed sweating like a fountain before screaming like a madman.
"We'll never succeed, Luce ... Ouch ... And you didn't had hit me so strongly with that book!" Natsu said, rubbing his huge bump on his head.
"Pinky." Lucy said seriously, slamming her book on the table.
"If you don't pass this exam, I won't be able to do 200 pictures by tomorrow, do you realize that?"
"Yeah, but what can we do- Hey! This is not all about you! Anyway, you know I'm too stupid to understand all these things in one day, so studying right now it's just stupid and impossible!"
"You're right ... "She breathed, sitting down before scattering her hair in all directions. What could they do?
"Tch, I'm tired now and I'm even hungry, If I could duplicate myself I could go home and sleep..."Natsu said bored out of his mind, earning an angry look from the blonde before it turned into a surprise one.
"What's wrong?"
"That's it!" Lucy replied, standing up.
"W-what?"
"Ehehe, don't you understand? Duplicate!"
"You want me to clone myself? Ummm, do I have to remind you that this is a fanfic about Fairy Tail and not Naruto-"
"No, not that way stupid. If a person duplicates, in some sense he feels thinks and says the same things, right?"
"Ummm , yeaaaaah?"
"And if I'm not mistaken juvia has a friend who uses the sensory link ... What was her name ?... "
"Meredy?"
"Correct!"
"And how is that gonna help us?"
"We'll just write the answers on her arms, and you will sense them, something like that."

"I had a little bit of free time so I wanted to read a book, or something." The girl said with a smile, before showing him the book. 'I give you the truth and you repay me with a lie'.
"What's with that title? It's so lame. "Natsu asked, taking the book from her hands and observing it with a disgusted look.
"It's about a guy who is willing to give everything for his beloved-"
"But instead she pays him back with many lies, thus causing his death. A romance novel but at the same time dramatic with lots of puzzles inside. "Lucy finished Levy's explanation, crossing her arms under her chest.
"Lu-chan you've already read it!?" Levy asked, surprised and happy at the same time. The blonde looked into the petite girl's eyes, before looking away and answer:
"A-A little while ago ..."
"So in the end this book is about how a girl is a bitch with his dumb boyfriend? It's still lame .. "Natsu said throwing the book on the table in front of Lucy, then putting his feet on the table and his hands crossed behind his head.
"Natsu, you don't understand, this book is very different from the normal ones!" Levy replied simply, knowing that it would have been impossible for Natsu to understand it.
"What do ya mean?"
"Well, if you read it like a regular book, yes, you're right it's a typical story of a boy whose love doesn't reach his other half, but if you read it on the contrary, the story changes completely!" The girl explained, earning a strange look from the punk, and when she was about to explain again what she meant the bell rang signaling the break's end.
"Already over? Oh my, time sure flies quickly... I have to leave you guys, I-I have something important to do ... S-see ya!" Levy said, before running away with a slight blush on the cheeks.
Yes, of course ... Something important ... Lucy thought, knowing perfectly what she was going to do. That young girl might have had an innocent face but she wasn't so innocent.
"Still don't get it ..." Natsu muttered, balancing a pencil between his upper lip and nose. The blonde picked up the book and looked at it for a long time.
This story was exactly about what Natsu said, but hearing Levy tell her that reading the story on the contrary would have changed completely, surprised her. She approached her bag and took her Gale-Force Reading Glasses.
"What are ya doin'?" Natsu asked balancing now 2 towers of books in both his hands, as he was hovering on the chair, his pencil still between his nose and mouth.
"Not now pinky." Lucy replied, putting her glasses on and starting to read the book on the contrary at an extremely accelerated rate. After finishing it, the girl was really amazed but also happy at the same time.
"I've found it ..."
"What?" Natsu replied, concentrated in his clown act, now also holding a pot on his head.
"Even though every fiber of my body doesn't want to do it, this is our only hope ... Pinky!" Lucy suddenly said, seriously pointing an accusative finger to the boy's face, surprising him to death and making him drop everything to the ground, but still managing to save the pot.
"L-Lucy?"
"Listen well, brainless monkey! If you pass this test, with all you've got, I'll spend a whole day with you and I'll do almost everything you command!"Natsu looked at her for a long time, clearly noticing the blush on the girl's cheeks, before realizing what she said and getting up to his feet and dropping on the ground the pot not giving a shit about it. The young boy jumped on the table and took the girl by the shoulders, shaking her furiously, before asking:
"T-then it's like a date, right!? A date?"
"C-Call it however you want it ..." Lucy said in a forced voice. Natsu let her go and made a backflip before taking literally fire and say, with a mischievous voice:
"Kekekeke, I'm all fired up now!"
Coming out of school, Lucy and Natsu were walking side by side, as every day by now. Lucy was explaining a math problem and Natsu was writing in a notebook everything that she was saying. Without realizing, they soon reached Lucy's house.
"So, this is your home?" Natsu asked, once they stopped in front of a big white house like the others around it. Lucy, who at that time was still in her thoughts trying to solve a problem, not realizing it she nodded and took her keys from her skirt's pocket to open the gate. Sniffing the air, Natsu frowned and asked again:
"Hey ... Sniff, sniff ... How come I can smell Loki?" Lucy's keys fell from her hand, hearing that question. Slightly moving her head to look over her shoulder behind her, she saw that Natsu was staring at her seriously.
Oh no... She thought.
"So?"
"Well, y-you see, this morning Loki came to my house to give me the f-firecrackers that I used today ... To scare you. Ahahahaha, look what time it is, see you tomorrow at school!"
"But-"
"SEE YOU TOMORROW!" Lucy screamed, rushing into her house and slamming the door behind her. Natsu kept starring at Lucy's front door confused. He remembered perfectly that Lucy didn't use any firecrackers on him that day, so why would she lie?
"Hmmmm ..." He muttered, as he walked slowly away. His serious expression never changing.
"S-shit ..." Lucy said, seeing through a small gap from her window Natsu's face as he left. She was in deep shit right now. After cleaning all her house literally changing the air, the girl finally took a break, dropping dead on the couch in the living room.
"Sigh ... How the heck did he smelled Loki, if that guy didn't visit this house in 2 weeks?!" Stressed out, she decided to go to sleep and call it a day. She wasn't in the mood nor did she have the strength to deal with this stuff.
Back to Natsu.
"Welcome home Natsu! How was ... Your ... Day? Natsu-san, a-are you alright? "Wendy asked, as she saw Natsu walk past her and go upstairs into the bathroom, where there, he washed his face thoroughly.
No matter how much he washed his face that unpleasant odor, wouldn't leave his nose. No, not Loki's. It was another smell. Of another person's. It was the smell of a male, but that wasn't what bothered him. It was the fact that he felt like he already smelled that odor somewhere and in a way it was as if he knew it.
Looking at his reflection in the mirror, Natsu whispered:
"Who the hell are you ...?"
The next day, alias Natsu's exam day and Lucy's assignment day.
"Ugh..." Lucy said as she slammed her clock on the floor to stop it. Sitting up she stretched before looking around and pick up her clock from the floor. As she looked at it she strangely felt rested, almost as if she finally had a good sleep since decades. And it was then that she heard some grunts and movements next to her in the bed. A deep husky and sexy voice said slowly:
"What...Hour... is it?"
"Half past...seven?" She muttered squinting her eyes to see better, even thought she read the hour in a wrong way, since it actually was 6:30.
"Urgh...5 more minutes..." Lucy grunted something, instead of answering and she was about to get off her bed when she stopped midway.
Wait a sec... She thought, with her eyes closed, as her eyebrows slowly started to come together.
I live alone in this house, right?...So...Why...Did I... She thought as she slowly turned around. Slowly waking up and becoming more and more aware of what time is it was and what was going on. She inhaled before shouting, seeing who was sleeping with her in the bed.
"PINKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" That scream literally woke up Natsu, from his sleep and surprised he fell on the ground.
"W-wha.- what's going on!?" He asked, startled and still half asleep.
"Urgh! I am so gonna kill you after this, you stupid pink perverted trespasser!" She shouted as she ran around the room to get her uniform and stuff and run into the bathroom just to come out immediately and find Natsu, calmly stretching in the middle of the room and then pick up the clock from the bed side.
"What's wrong Luce, why are you in such a hurry?"
"We're late for school dumbass! That's what's wrong!"
"But Luce it's only 6 and also...You're wearing your shirt inside out..." He yawned, pointing at her shirt.
"...W-what did you say?"
"That you're waring your s-"
"No, not that, before."
"That it's only 6 in the morning?" He replied while showing her the clock. Suddenly the girl fell to the ground.
"Luce?"
"God, what a scare..." She whispered with a hand on her chest.
"Yeah, but we still don't have time to loose, today is that day." The boy breathed, taking off his white t-shirt.
"W-w-w-wait!"
"What?" He asked stopping midway.
"W-w-what the hell do you think you're doing stripping in a girl's room!?"
"So what? You've seen me shirtless countless times-"
"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEAN!" Lucy shouted, high kicking Natsu in the face.
Coming out of Lucy's house, arguing as always they met Gray and Mirajane by coincidence.
"I don't get it Luce, why are you so angry? I just slept at your house. It's common between friends."
"For the last time, we are not friends and you didn't sleep at my house you just trespassed into my house! You know I can sue you for this, right!?"
"Oh, come on, Luceee!"
"Oh my!"
"Wow..." The 2 arguing teens turned around to meet the surprised look on Gray's and Mira's faces.
"Oh God...Please don't..." Lucy said seeing Mira's sparkling eyes.
"Wait, wait, wait! Did we just see Natsu and Lucy coming out of the same house?" Gray asked, trying to hold his laugh in.
"Wait!" Lucy shouted, startling the 2 guys.
"B-before you get any weird ideas..." She said looking at Mira who stared back at her with a confused look.
"Natsu didn't slept at my house. H-he just came by to talk about the exam and stuff.."
"But we just heard you talking about him sleeping at your house." Gray said, crossing his arms over his chest and smirking down at Lucy.
"Y-you heard that wrong, he was talking about this new tv series, which coincidentally we... we are both following, yeah!"
"Umm, Luce you're-" Lucy strongly stepped on Natsu's foot, blocking him from speaking. The young boy screamed in pain before ducking down.
"Wait, weren't you talking about the exam?"
"Urgh! LET'S JUST GO TO SCHOOL!" Lucy shouted, turning on her heel and quickly storming towards the school, ignoring the amused look on her friends' mugs.
"Wait, Luce!" Natsu said, stopping Lucy on the school's threshold.
"What is it?"
"The photos, remember?"
"... Yeah, thanks for reminding me the cause of my mental breakdowns, what about them?" Lucy asked, sighing and turning towards the boy. She saw the boy smirk mischievously at her.
"Do ya have the camera?"
"Yes?" Lucy replied, confused while taking the camera out of her bag.
"Perfect, give it to me and come with me. Hold me tight ok?" Natsu said, grabbing Lucy by the waist and running towards the fountain, the one in front of the gate. He jumped up on the statue, of the school's emblem. A fairy, and after he cleared his throat he roared:
"Listen up, you fuckin' bastards! Anyone who dares to move away right now, will get a nice beating from me!" With a sadistic smirk, giving the creeps to whoever looked at him.
"Every male here present is gonna take a picture with Lucy, ok? Ya better be smiling, and anyone who dares to touch her ..." Natsu threatened, glaring at everyone out there.
"I'll Break their bones one by one." At the speed of light Lucy managed to take 164 photos with 164 different guys, before running to her class. Unfortunately, that day was also the day when the classes' stupidest students had to take a test of every subject in which there were no good. Lucy was good, since she didn't have any problems, but Natsu was in serious trouble. His most important exam was at end of the day and he had to take a test in practically every subjects. After every bell's ring and during recess you could see Natsu and Lucy, running like crazy through the halls in search of new males with whom Lucy could take pictures.
"Move out of the way!" Natsu and Lucy shouted together while running like crazy, passing by Mirajane, Levy and Gray that were calmly eating their snack in the garden.
"W-what the hell?" Gray exclaimed, when his coffee was spilled on him, and his sandwich flew out of his hand while the 2 girls 'kyaaa-ed' when the strong wind almost lifted their skirts.
"Those two are surely working hard, but they should at least take a break, geez. All they've been doing is running all day left and right, I hope they at least ate something..." Mira said adjusting her hair, by pulling out a tree's branch.
"Haha, right!" Levy laughed, taking off from her head, some birds' nest.
"P-pinky ... W-wait ..." Lucy tried to speak, breathing heavily as she struggled to get a hold of Natsu.
"Lucy c'mon, we don't have time to lose! The next period is the test and we still haven't made all the pictures!" Lucy ignored the boy and went towards a bench on which she collapsed, trying to catch her breath, with her eyes closed. Natsu walked over to her and sat down, feeling guilty seeing her now do deep breaths in order to regain a bit of her forces. He, unlike her, still had a lot of stamina left.
"Okay ...let's take a break, now. Sorry if I've pushed you too much. "Lucy slightly opened one eye to look at him, after hearing that phrase.
"No ... Actually...I wanted to... take a break for you ..." The girl breathed, taking a more 'feminine' position on the bench.
"Huh?"
"Here." Lucy said, giving Natsu a strawberry juice which he caught mid air. He observed it confused and surprised at the same time. The bell's ring could be heard from inside the school.
"Don't get me wrong, it's just that I know you have a big appetite and, umm, it's from this morning that you did nothing but run, a-and you also have the exam now, you know, you kinda need strength to do good and be among the first 10, s-so ... "Lucy stuttered, playing with her thumbs in her lap, slightly blushing.
"Thanks a bunch, Luce!" She heard him say and curious, she peeked at him. The way his Adam's apple was going up and down was mesmerizing. From that angle Lucy could observe his neck's tensed muscles and his beautiful fine jaw. She couldn't deny it. Natsu could really be sexy some times, like those times when he didn't act like a little kid.
"Wow! Now I really feel like I can defeat that damn test, here take some more pictures while I'm doing the test and don't you even dare to cheat on me with other boy behind my back!" He threw the camera toward Lucy who took it, while quickly backing away to go do the test.
Me? Make some more pictures? Lucy thought with her head still in the clouds.
"Wait! What!?"
"Natsu Dragneel's test, will be corrected this afternoon by the professor in charge of the test, so for now here are Lucy Ashley's pictures, as he requested." Jellal said putting on Makarov's table a package of photo, before excusing himself of the trouble and walking away.
"Well, no doubt about it, you can really see, that she gave her best , but ..." Makarov said, quickly scrolling through each photo and observing them carefully.
"What's wrong, master? "Erza asked, who unlikely the old man was looking at the photos slowly one by one, smiling like a mother.
"But unfortunately, our beloved Lucy hasn't succeed in completing her work. "Makarov said, showing her the contract where it was written in bold, the number of photos that the blonde girl had to do.
"I don't understand? Aren't these 200 pictures? "The girl asked, looking at the small figure of the man get off the chair and walk across the huge room while shaking his head. He reached a microphone in order to announce Lucy's failure.
"Boys and girls, excuse me of this sudden interruption, but there is an important announcement I have to make." The headmaster's radio voice was heard throughout the whole school.
"Important announcement?"
"What will it be?"
"I hope that it's not about the fact that I blew up the boys' bathroom on the second floor ..." Gray whispered, worried as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Wait, you were the one to blow me in the air while I was takin' a dump in the bathroom, you piece of shit!?" Gajeel shouted, taking the other boy by the collar.
"Boys, Don't fight now!" Levy snapped at them, trying to stop them.
"It wasn't my fault, I had to get rid of an explosive potion quickly, plus it's your damn fault if at that time you were shitting instead of doing something more intelligent, ice bastard!"
"What did ya-?!"
"Lucy Ashley." Everyone in the class suddenly stopped from moving, in order to hear the old man's voice. They turned around to look at her but she wasn't anymore at her desk.
"Despite having done a good job, I'm sorry to announce that you have-"
"STOOOOP!" Makarov heard screaming from outside and turning towards the huge windows he saw something strange approaching.
"What the-!?" Suddenly, out of nowhere Natsu's silhouette appeared in the sky and passing right through the window the guy landed right in front of the old man.
"N-Natsu ..." The man, by now white as a sheet, said while trembling.
"Eehehhe, slow down Gramps, you forgot this one." Natsu smirked, showing him a picture. The old man took the photo and examined it before closing his eyes, smiling.
"Tch! Kids these days are so shameless. Well, what can I say ... "Makarov said, going back towards the microphone.
"Lucy Ashley you have completed your assignment. Congratulations. I have nothing else to say, sorry for the interruption your lesson and don't forget to be careful on the road back home. "Makarov said, before closing the microphone.
"I assume you want to keep this picture." Makarov said with a smirk and Natsu returned the smirk crossing his hands behind his head.
"Nah, I don't need a picture, I have something better, ya know? "
"Ahahaha, you little rascal." Makarov laughed, shaking his head.
"Well I have to go now, see ya, Gramps, Erza."
"Are you off to see her, right?" Makarov said more than asked, while sitting back in his chair, watching Natsu grin before jumping out the window. By now the answer was obvious.
"Strange, I've never seen Natsu so happy. May I see that picture? "Erza asked and as if he'd known she would have asked the man handed her the photo.
"Curious, are we?"
"Oh my! W-w-well, t-this explains a lot!" Erza stuttered, blushing furiously at the sight of that photo.
In that picture, you could see a very happy Natsu and a shocked Lucy, perhaps because she had been taken by surprise. They were kissing under a cherry blossom tree, while cherry petals could be seen flying in the background.
Natsu had all of a sudden taken her by the chin and pulled her toward him to kiss her passionately before quickly running away.
