Merisel Dodie's daughter was having lots of problems these days but her biggest was that she secretly loved Lucas because he was her knight in shining armor when she needed him.
"Anyways I told him that if he thought breaking up was what had to happen then let it happen Luke. After I said that he walked out and I chalked another boy up on the blackboard in my mind" Merisel said lying on Lucas's bed munching on Dorito's.
"Mare why do you let boys walk all over you all the time I mean don't you ever want to I don't know have a steady relationship with someone?" Lucas asked grabbing chips from the bowl around Merisel's arms.
"Sure I do I just need to find the right boy and I guess right now Prince Charming isn't living anywhere near Sheltered Shrubs High".
Lucas smiled lying next to Merisel feeling the same way as her but instead of her being a knight in shining armor she was his damsel and he was glad that she always would be.
"So enough about my fragile love life how's yours doing I mean Future Students Of America president has got to be lucky to have you right Luke?"
"Natalie Simms has broken things off with me because apparently I'm just a brain helping Natalie get better grades before graduation".
"She's a goodie goodie anyway Lucas you're better off without her my man. I mean I know the things she promised you must have been amazing but we're Freshmen and we have two years to admire the Seniors until we're one of them" Merisel said chugging a Pepsi and belching.
"You know Mare you're not like other girls I mean you're like a boy in a girl's body and I think that's what I like most about you".
"Yea my mom's on this whole no drinking from the carton, eating like a carnivore, or dressing like a bum kick but I tell her that there's no changing me".
"My mom stamped out the boy in me at an early age seeing she was pregnant with twin girls and didn't want my actions to as she put it scar them for life".
Merisel giggled her purple hair draping down Lucas's bedside and his mind worked overtime trying to convince him to tell Merisel how he felt.
"Dude just tell her how you feel because you know sooner or later a girl as pretty as her is going to have another boy in her life faster than you can blink" Lucas's mind said with Lucas shaking his head hoping to silence his brain.
"Problems Lou? Because if you do have some I can help you solve them simple a seeing I have problems up the wazoo" Merisel said giggling at Lucas shaking his head.
"No Mare I just thought I had water in my ears so I was attempting to remove it but I guess it's really stuck in there" Lucas said snuggling closer to Merisel.
Merisel gazed into Lucas' eyes and she saw love in them as he saw the same in her eyes the both of them not wanting to ever lose this moment.
"Lou I know we agreed long ago that we were just going to be friends but-"Merisel began as Lucas leaned in kissing her cutting the rest of her words off.
Kennedy giggled snapping a picture of Lucas and Merisel in mid kiss and bolted off before Lucas or Merisel saw her.
"Lou I-I-I-I-I don't know what to say I mean that was amazing in every sense of the word. Lucas you have no idea how long I've been waiting for a boy to make me feel like this".
"Mare I do know how long you've been waiting because we've been friends since Nursery School and I have to say I've been jealous of late because you just have to bat an eyelash and get a boy's attention" Lucas said wrapping his arm around Merisel.
"How do you think I felt when I heard you were this close to going to Homecoming and Prom with Mrs. Center Of The Universe Natalie Simms?"
"Mare you're right I guess I dropped the ball on that one but as a Freshmen Prom and Homecoming sounded like heaven".
"Sure it did as it does to all Freshmen who hope to get invited but in the end we just become the pink elephants in the room each and every time we attend Senior's soirée's. Lou do you really want to be a pink elephant?"
"Merisel when you're right you're right and no I don't want to be a pink elephant because I don't have the body to be pink or an elephant for that matter".
Merisel giggled snuggling closer to Lucas as he lied down and she lied next to him placing the Dorito bowl on her stomach and a can of Pepsi on her chest.
"So speaking of pink elephants what do you think the kids at school are going to say when we walk down the hall hand in hand?" Lucas asked with Merisel meeting his eyes her purple bangs brushing her eyelashes.
"I think it'll go a little something like this Lucas my good man. OMG Becky can you like believe it I mean their like dating like whatever and who would have thought Lucas Foutley and like Merisel Roberts were like going to like end up like, like, like, like, dating?"
Lucas and Merisel were in uproars after Merisel said this and Lucas kissed Merisel again as she kissed him back glad to have someone besides her father and mother to kiss.
"So we have the whole night to do whatever it is you feel like doing Mare so I'll go get us some drinks, food, and we can think about what you would like to do".
Merisel saluted Lucas watching him walk out not knowing that in the basement Noel was planning a party that Lucas, Merisel, Heather, and Kennedy were uninvited to.
Kennedy took the basement stairs two at a time racing to her sisters who were doing each other's makeup giggling as she raced to them.
"You- two- are- missing all- the- fun- upstairs- Lucas- kissed- Merisel- and- it- wasn't- a- friendly- kiss- either- it- was- how Edward- kisses- Bella" Kennedy gasped the smile never leaving her face.
"Kenny how do you know this you weren't spying were you? Because if you were I've taught you well but if Lucas told you I doubt it's true but if you saw them doing it then I'd need proof" Heather said applying lipstick to Noel.
"Here take a look at this I took it when I caught them kissing and I hope they do start dating because Merisel is the coolest girl ever besides my sisters of course".
Kennedy handed the camera to Heather who took one look and smiled knowing for once Kennedy's snooping skills were paying off.
"Here Noel take a look I believe we've found Kennedy Laura Foutley's calling and it's definitely snooping".
"Hang on I'm getting a call ladies I'll be right back. I mean this is a private call so sit tight and I'll be right with you" Noel said dashing upstairs with Kennedy the new snooper in the shadows.
"I know putting on the whole I'm a sorry middle sister act was painful and not me. So what time can you guys get here?"
Kennedy threw her hands over her mouth in surprise recording the conversation with her IPhone not wanting Heather to miss one word.
"Yea bring the peeps, music, food, drinks, and yourself I'll provide the rest Lee. Lee trust me I can get what I want I have a guy so bring all the stuff I asked for and I'll provide the rest".
Noel grinned pushing end and walking to the refrigerator to make a dip for the party not knowing Kennedy was going to blow her plans sky high.
"Heather, Heather, Heather, Heather, Heather Noel's planning a party, she put an act on for mommy, daddy, Lucas, you, and I. Plus she's going to call a guy to provide something for her" Kennedy said on the verge of tears and handing Heather the recorded conversation.
"That little brat I mean here we are being nice to her and she's planning a party behind our backs? I mean what a low down dirty thing to do" Heather said storming upstairs to find the door shut and locked from the other side.
"Sorry ladies but being nice isn't my thing but no worries I'm back to myself and you two can rat me out to mom and dad tomorrow seeing they got a hotel room for the night so hah, hah, and hah" Noel screeched cackling with Kennedy trying to ram the door.
"It's no use Kenny that door's way too strong for you and for me seeing mommy and daddy didn't trust us alone and they got a door this strong for that reason".
Kennedy sat in a ball on the floor sobbing as Heather gently walked up to her stroking her hair hoping it'd make her feel better.
"Come on Kenny be strong it's not like we're going to be in here all night I mean Lucas and Merisel are here and no matter how loud the music is I'm sure they can hear us".
Kennedy nodded standing up and looking around for anything Heather and her could use to escape their prison.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, and no darn it daddy doesn't have a lot of trust in us because all his tools are hidden somewhere and we could really use them now" Kennedy said the sound of The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs Heads Will Roll blared under the basement door.
"Heather look a window and it looks about my size so how about a boost? I mean if I know anything it's that I can wiggle my way out of a bad spot like a worm" Kennedy said as Heather boosted her to the window.
"I'm going to climb the drainpipe to get to Lucas' room and hope to God he calls the cops and then I'll get you out".
Heather shook her head no and helped Kennedy through the window and then she climbed through it with some difficulty.
"Alright you climb the drainpipe and be sure to hit Lucas' room and not Noel's because chances are she's in there with a boy doing God knows what".
Kennedy grasped the drainpipe and shimmied until she reached Lucas's room to find him feeding Merisel Sweet And Sour Chicken and she banged on the window making both of them jump.
"Uhh Lou maybe you should let her in seeing her clothes look ripped, her eyes are red from crying I bet, and she's precious even if she is interrupting us" Merisel said mouthful of chicken.
"Kenny I know this is probably the stupidest question in the world but what are you doing outside in ripped clothes and why were you crying?" Lucas asked as Kennedy collapsed into his arms and Heather also climbed through the window like a gymnast.
"Looks like I cleared the dismount hey Lou? Now about Kennedy crying and ripped clothes see Noel put an act on for us all day and she's definitely on my revenge list but for now let's not get off topic" Heather started with Merisel and Lucas looking at her.
"Noel's throwing a huge party downstairs and I can see the soundproof walls dad installed are working. She locked us in the basement and Kennedy the smarty that she is found a window and we escaped that way".
"So I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I climbed the d-d-d-d-d-d-d-drainpipe b-b-b-b-b-b-b-because y-y-y-y-y-y-you're the oldest and right now w-w-w-w-w-w-w-we need the oldest' help to p-p-p-p-p-punish the meanie big and little sister Noel".
"Great and trust me Kenny she's going to be punished and the two of you rewarded but that doesn't explain your ripped clothes or the cuts I'm just noticing".
"I climbed the drainpipe have you ever tried that? It's got jagged metal and with that comes ripped clothes and cuts that sting extra bad".
"Mare go get me the first aid kit in the bathroom, Noel call mom and dad and let them know the trouble Noel's in, Kenny you sit right here with me and enjoy Chinese which we're also saving for Heather and Merisel and I will be a good doctor taking care of those cuts in record time".
As soon as Lucas' door opened Kid Cudi's Pursuit Of Happiness flooded his room with cheers from girl's and boy's downstairs.
"Scratch the heck out of that Kenny you stay here I'm going to break this party up before- and I guess she read my mind" Lucas said seeing red and blue lights shining through his bedroom window.
"First aid kit Lou now what would you like me to do next? I could handle Chief Kill if you like her and I are like this" Merisel said as Lucas shook his head dashing downstairs meeting Miranda at the door.
"Chief nice of you to stop by and if you don't mind take Noel because right now she's above my lectures or so she thinks. Anything that jail has for her is far worse than what I can do".
"Yes mom Miranda's here and Lucas is doing the best thing ever telling Miranda to take Noel to jail hopefully for a good three to five years" Heather said with Noel smiling innocently at Lucas hoping it worked as good as it worked with John.
"The rest of the kids can be punished accordingly but I want Noel in the pen until my parents get home which won't be for a while".
"Good Heather hand me the phone so your mom, dad and I can talk bail this being her first offense and all" Miranda said taking the phone from Heather.
"Now Kenny as promised I'll patch you up and we can all pig out on Chinese and junk food all night long if you guys like" Lucas said with Heather hugging him glad he was her brother.
"Alright everyone that isn't a jailbird follow me upstairs so we can begin our trouble free night. I mean geez a party would be nice if mom and dad knew about it".
Merisel, Kennedy, and Heather followed Lucas to his room where alcohol, peroxide, and band aids met Kennedy.
"Alright Kenny this may sting a little but that sting is a good thing it means the cuts are getting cleaned and not infected".
Lucas dabbed Kennedy's cuts with a cotton ball and alcohol as she screeched in pain but knew her cuts were getting cleaned and immediately stopped.
"There we are now they'll heal and everything's good with our Little Fuzzy Bear. Now what would the Little Fuzzy Bear like to eat?"
Kennedy saw chicken, Lo Mein, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Pork and Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, and Fortune Cookies asking for one of everything her stomach grumbling with hunger.
"Alright Ginge here's the hero of the night so I'll just keep her in custody until you guys get back then we can talk about what we're charging her with" Miranda said handing Lucas the phone and leading Noel away in handcuffs.
"Yes mom everybody's fine Heather and Kennedy were locked in the basement but Kennedy's keen thinking and Heather's height got them both out and I patched Kennedy right up because climbing the drainpipe is a nasty bit of work".
Lucas smiled as Ginger commended him and he handed the phone to Kennedy who's mouth was stuffed with egg roll.
"Hey mama what's up with you two tonight? Yea it hurt but I needed to get Lucas' attention somehow and that drainpipe is right next to his room so climbed it I did" Kennedy said swallowing her food getting the hiccups.
"Yes I got cut but Lucas is a great doctor and he made sure I was all patched up and he even ordered Chinese for Merisel, Heather, himself, and I".
Ginger giggled as Kennedy handed the phone to Heather who was glad to hear her mother's voice and she showed it with tears in her eyes.
"Yes mom I was brave but I should have done more to protect Kennedy I mean the poor thing is covered in cuts and is probably scarred for life thanks to Noel's stupid self" Heather said tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Heather you did a lot to protect me tonight I mean without you I would have went crazy and bit my own foot off".
Heather couldn't help but laugh at what Kennedy said as Lucas and Merisel joined her everybody glad the tension in the house was slowly starting to subside.
Well that's it for now and I know it's a little short but I feel I put a lot into this chapter for it being so short so R&R and the chapters will remain constant.
