~Time Skip 3months Later~
Kaname's P.O.V
As we gathered and waited for the gates of Moon Dorms to open, we could hear the Day Class which should be in the Sun Dorms by now screaming for us, waiting to see the Night Class students they had a not-so-secret crush on our kind which they have no clue to who we really are or what we really are. Aido was excited he enjoyed the attention of the Day Class girls, Shiki was relaxed and bored as usual as he carried his and Rima's books.
"They're so annoying, do they have no pride or control over themselves…" Ruka questioned.
"Calm down Ruka let them be, let them have no worries about the repercussions of their actions" Yuuki reprimanded Ruka.
"They have no excuse Yuuki-sama and it's shameful for you to defend them" Ruka said smirking at Yuuki.
"You have no right to try and dictate how I and Yuuki conduct ourselves Ruka, the Day class girls have no need to be so aware of their actions" I said giving Ruka a pointed look.
"Kaname" Kurai came running calling out my name and latching on to my arm "Thank you for waiting to walk me to class Kaname" Kurai continued
"You have no right to call Kaname-sama in such a friendly way" Ruka ground out glaring at Kurai
"I have every right to" Kurai shot back.
"I don't recall saying I would walk you to class Kurai, nor do I recall giving you permission to call me in such a friendly way, now let go of me" I asked of her not even looking at her.
"Bu…But Kaname…" Kurai stuttered.
When suddenly a big SLAP had been created, everyone turned their attention as well as mine looking to what was happening.
"You have no right to call him in such a friendly manner, now let go of my cousin now girl…" Yuuki demanded in a calm threatening tone with her arm still raised from the swing of her slapping Kurai. I pulled my arm away from the girl's grasp and offered my arm to my cousin as she took my arm, I heard Kurai huff and stomp her foot.
"Before you start running off Kurai, you're not allowed to skip class unless you're ill and as you're not, you are expected to be attending class" I said knowing it was cruel, but she is self-inflicting these wounds really. Soon the dorm gates opened and all Day Class girls screamed.
"Aido I love you~" was heard a lot. So many repeated that statement and Aido loved it smiling and waving he even went to talk to some of the girls that has caught his attention.
"Aido, stop being childish, we have classes to get to" Yuuki said as she continued walking along with me. I looked over my shoulder to see the girls Aido was talking to glaring at Yuuki because of what she said.
"Yes Yuuki-sama" Aido replied to waving bye to the girls.
"Aido-senpai! No, don't go" They whined, one girl had the nerve to pick up a stone and throw it at Yuuki screaming "BITCH!" as she threw it. I caught it before it would land its target.
"You're in trouble. It is against school rules to intentionally hurt another student" Ichiru said as he grabbed the girl's upper arm and pulled her forward as he takes her to the headmasters office.
"Yuuki-sama are you okay?" Aido asked panicking about the passing event.
"I'm fine Aido, we have class so let us proceed" Yuuki answered, I felt annoyed with what happened.
"Aido I hope this helps you learn to behave as your actions could affect us all" I said in a low voice causing many in the night class to become weary of me and Aido to quiver in fear.
"Yes Kaname-sama" Aido answered, turning white as a ghost, okay so I was angry at what the girl had tried to do, and it was the cause of her infatuation with Aido...
"Kaname it's not his fault the girl chose to react the way she did, It's okay. You have no need to scare him" Yuuki reprimanded me, causing my face to shake a bit in shock.
"Yuuki she threw a stone toward your head, I don't care that it didn't hit, it's that she tried to hurt you, which is the problem" I replied once I got over my shock.
"It's fine now let us get to class before we're late" She said pulling me towards class.
Class passed slowly with no disturbances and the classes passed peacefully as we walked back to the dorms when Zero and Ichiru showed up.
"Kuran's, Yuuki the Chairman wants to see you three in his office now" Zero stated as he then turned and dragged Ichiru expecting us to follow them. Yuuki looked her arm through mine and Shiki's arms as she starts to drag us as well heading to the chairman's office where we then saw Rido, Haruka and Juuri drinking tea with the chairman.
"Purebloods" Zero growled as he entered keeping Ishiru closer to him. My father Rido seemed offended by Zero's remark.
"Hunter, you have no right to show such disrespect to us" Rido said loudly as he rises from his seat to approach Zero. Zero stepped in front of Ichiru, his hand coming to rest on his bloody rose gun, Yuuki stepped in between, both raising her hand in a stop sign towards her uncle.
"Sit down Uncle, leave Zero alone. We are not here to fight" Yuuki said as Zero stepped up behind her, Rido did not stop approaching them. Rido wanted to slap Yuuki and he raised his hand causing several things to happen in the room all at once. Zero drew his bloody rose, Shiki released his blood whip, Ichiru had his sword pointed at Rido. Haruka and Juuri were standing ready to attack their brother, I had grabbed my father's raised hand by the wrist and Yuuki had Artemis at his throat.
"Shall we get on with what we have been gathered here for?" Yuuki asked as she somewhat glares with a serious stare towards her uncle as she lowers Artemus and took a seat along with Zero and Ichiru beside her. As soon as it had calmed down and we all took our positions in the room I stood up leaning against the wall in the distance near where my brother Shiki sits.
"We're all here to tell you three decisions that have been made by us all" Haruka said weary and hesitant to continue.
"Now we ask you to remain calm" Juuri requested seeming nervous.
"Oh just get to the point, they will do as they are told..." Rido said becoming impatient with the delay. "Kaname, Yuuki we have decided you two are to be engaged so the Kuran bloodline will continue being as pure as possible" Rido continued seeming happy that it's been said and got it out of the way before it gets anymore delayed but also, I can't help but feel like with that expression of my father's means something else. I saw Yuuki twitch and Shiki suddenly became very awake having to feel unsure of how to respond to this.
"A-Are you SERIOUS!?" Ichiru shouted sitting up straight.
"NO! their mad and disgusting beasts in human skin!" Zero yelled as he leaned forward reaching behind Yuuki to grab Ichiru's shoulder.
"Bite your tongue Level D, if anyone here is a beast it would be you..." Rido growled as he glares at Zero.
"Shut up father, what is the meaning of this all of a sudden?" I said looking at everyone in the room.
"You have no right to say such things to Zero, Uncle Rido. It's rude and you have no right to make such remarks" Yuuki said standing up and glaring at my father.
Zero's P.O.V
Yuuki stood glaring at her uncle, standing up and protecting me again.
(Flash Back)
Zero sat on an armchair listening to Yuuki reading as she sat between Ichiru's legs at Zero's feet, Ichiru playing with Yuuki's hair as he laid to rest his head on Zero's lap.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Zero get up to answer the door as Yuuki stopped reading, Ichiru sat up straight both waiting for Zero to come back and sit down so they could continue the story. Suddenly there was a loud thud Yuuki and Ichiru rushed to the front door to see if Zero was alright. They were met by the sight of Zero held by his throat against the wall, his feet dangling, and a woman with long lilac hair wearing a kimono drinking his blood.
"Get away from him vampire!" Ichiru shouted as he rushed towards them. The vampire turned and dropped Zero to the ground. Ichiru raised his fist only to be backhanded and hit his head knocking him out.
"Well if it isn't a little Kuran at a hunter's house no less, oh well it's no concern of mine just stay out of my way" The vampire woman said turning her back to Yuuki.
"Shizuka what are you doing here?" Yuuki asked as she slowly walked towards the woman now identified as Shizuka.
"I'm a pureblood, I don't need to explain a thing to no one, but I am here for revenge against Kaien, that hunter, and what better way than to kill his sons" Shizuka said picking Zero up by his throat again. Only to have Yuuki push her hand through her chest.
"I will not allow you to kill them..." Yuuki said pulling her hand out and taking a hold of Shizuka's heart in her hand.
"I am impressed little Kuran but I bit the boy and you know what fate lies in front of him now haha so for having to and my suffering. I shall give you my blood as a thank you" Shizuka said as she slowly died. Yuuki quickly bite into Shizuka's neck draining her blood and spitting it in a glass vase that was nearby. After a few moments, Shizuka became but a cloud of dust on the ground. Kaien came rushing with his sword drawn, he quickly figured out what had just happened just by scanning his surrounding area. Kaien rushed towards Zero's side checking his neck to see what he figured to be true and when he had checked on Zero telling him to hold a cloth to his neck Kaien checked on his other son Ichiru while Yuuki went to Zero with Shizuka's blood.
"Zero you need to drink this" Yuuki told Zero bringing the vase to Zero's lips before the vase was pushed away by Zero.
"Get that away from me...I'm not drinking that beast's blood. I'm not going to be like HER!" Zero shouted at Yuuki.
"If you don't want to become a level E anytime in the future" Yuuki said offering Zero the vase once more.
"NO NEVER! I won't become a monster or drink her BLOOD!" Zero shouted which also caused him to slap Yuuki across the face. Yuuki widen her eyes at the shock that Zero had slapped her across the face. Her face, facing towards the side as she knelt still regaining her senses, and spoke in a calm yet a little deep tone as she spoke with a serious voice telling him or showing him that she was serious.
"Drink the blood willingly...or I will shove it down your throat!" she turned her head to face him, staring seriously at him as she had shouted the last sentences. Grabbing his nose and shoving the vase to his lip and forcing the blood to go down his throat, making him drink the blood. He tried to fight Yuuki to try and make her stop but he had to swallow or else he would drown, so he chose to swallow her blood.
"COUGH...! cough...ugh...I hate you" Zero growled.
"Hate me all you want...I did what needed to be done to keep you alive and to control yourself" Yuuki explained.
(End of Flash Back)
She always protected me and my brother as if we were family, always protecting me against my will having to make sure Ichiru and I were safe. Even now standing up against her uncle, a pureblood older than her with so many centuries of experience over her. Rido could kill her if he wanted to or anytime in the world...even when she knew that she is still willing to protect me from him.
"Rido shut up and sit down, we don't need a fight" Haruka said grabbing Rido's arm.
"Yuuki sit down," I said grabbing her arm and pulling her to sit between Ichiru and me. Everything became quiet, it seems to finally have hit Yuuki and Kaname that one day they would be married and expected to continue the Kuran family name as well as the bloodline.
"BANG! Yuuki-sama, Kaname-sama we have a small problem" Aido said breathlessly, he seemed to realize he barged into a room full of purebloods and interrupted something very important he could sense the intense in the room that had caused Aido to go pale. Rido opened his mouth, but Yuuki and Kaname left taking Aido with them soon we all followed behind them.
Kaname's P.O.V
Aido came rushing in, never have I been grateful for Aido's brainless behavior but that can be thought on later as of right now what's with the barging into the room..? Yuuki and I got going heading for the moon dorm which is where Aido lead us to.
"Aido what seems to be the problem?" I asked.
"Kurai and Ruka are fighting, and neither of them wants to listen to anyone but a pureblood so before they start with any of the physical fight. I came to get you two" Aido explained.
"Stupid girls..." Yuuki muttered under her breath as we rushed into the dorms to find the two girls, Kurai and Ruka when we soon find Kurai slapped Ruka across the face.
"Your not worthy and we both know it!" Kurai shouted.
"It's never going to happen Kurai. So learn your place before you make a lot of enemies..." Ruka growled.
"Kaname-sama, I'm sorry" Ruka gasped when she sensed and saw, and she bowed apologetically.
"You definitely should be sorry...disturbing me so much I'm Kaname's future bride" Kurai boasted, not seeing my father and Uncle behind us who had followed us.
"Kurai! I don't recall asking for your hand and I never plan to either..." I said in a dead tone.
"My father is talking with Rido-sama about our wedding" Kurai said happily.
"My son is now betrothed to Yuuki Kuran and as I keep telling your father...you are not marrying my son" Rido said glaring at Kurai.
"WHAT!? But I'm perfect. I am PERFECT for your son!" Kurai yelled in outrage at what she had heard from my father.
"Your not perfect, you're a spoilt little child who is obsessed with my brother..." Shiki said bored standing in the distance leaning against a wall nearby. Kurai turned furiously towards my brother and went charging at him.
"SLAP!...stay away from my cousin Kurai you are a low noble with no power. You have no right to behave the way you have been and have disrespected the Kuran family for the last time" Yuuki said after having to slap the girl.
"The Kuran Family? That boy is no Kuran, he is a stain on the Kuran name...he should never have been allowed to live!" Kurai shouted raising her hand to slap Yuuki.
"You DARE give insult to my brother, you try and shun and shame him...the shame this stain you speak of is our father's NOT Shiki's, our father's and Shiki's mother's shame" I growled throwing her into a wall before she could land that hand on Yuuki's face.
"Chairman, I would like to issue a request to have her be expelled from Cross Academy for the safety of the day and night classes" Yuuki said as she walked away leading Shiki and Rima upstairs, I soon followed not even waving to the elder Kurans.
