Chapter 7

Yuuki P.O.V

As I walked into Kaname's and my office I took a seat at the window seal opening the window to enjoy some of the cool night air. Shiki sat on the couch draping himself over Rima like a blanket, as Kaname enters taking a seat in the leather chair at the desk.

"Such silly girls, at least there is an upside to your engagement...no more fools falling at your feet" Shiki spoke lowly with his bored tone hiding his face in Rima's neck.

"Engagement?" Rima asked bored while switching her steady gaze from Kaname to me then back, sighing at the reminder of the sudden change in my life. I looked to Kaname wondering how he is taking the news, he seem to have not changed or focused at anything worth worrying about since his face has not changed.

"I guess we shouldn't be so surprised we always knew it would be the case and possibility since when we found out about the existence of the other" I said in a calm voice wondering what Kaname was thinking on the matter when I felt myself nervous and anxious about the whole thing.

"True but wince they didn't say anything when you were born, I assume that they maybe going to have another child and if it were to be a he, you would marry him. That or they weren't going with the tradition and we wouldn't be wed, even though it was still a possibility I thought the chances were small" Kaname murmured lowly but clear.

"But I wonder why now announce such a thing unless they only just decided, I wonder if your father is planning something..." I replied just as quietly becoming deep in thoughts.

"They are going to be so CUTE!" Ichijou shouted as he burst into the room, causing many confusion on peoples faces staring at him, Kaname and myself included. "Just think the next Kuran generation will be so cute and I'll be an awesome god-parent making sure the child doesn't end up as somber and serious as the parent's" Ichijou continued shouting dancing around in the room.

"WHAT!?" I screamed in embarrassment at his rambling causing me to fall off my seat onto the floor with my face feeling so warm knowing I'm blushing.

"ICHIJOU shut up!" Kaname shouted, his face dusted pink showing discomfort over the conversation.

"They will be so adorable~" Ichijou continued to squealing until he had a letter opener thrown just missing his head as it stabbed into the wall beside his head. Ichijou showed a shock in his expression as he stood there frozen before he turned his head slowly seeing the letter opener stabbed into the wall before slowly turning his head to look at who threw it.

"We are not married yet and kids are very far off in the future, so this topic of conversation has no place at the present so you will stop Ichijou or the next one I will not miss..." I said as calmly as I could without stuttering.

"Smart...Like that time will ever come" Kurai said in amused and vengeful.

"Meaning?" Rima questioned the girl.

"Like Kaname-sama will ever willing to share a bed with her and as if she will ever be able to bare a child" Kurai said gleefully.

"I thought it was clear that you were to gather your belongings and leave. As for mine and Yuuki's future I don't see how you would know anything of the matter as you know nothing about us, so leave!" Kaname said standing behind the desk glaring at Kurai.

"Everyone go to your rooms the sun will be rising soon" I said once Kurai had left the room. Once everyone had left closing the door behind them I laid down on the couch covering my eyes with my arm. Kaname had slumped back down into his chair of his desk covering his eyes with one hand I noted before I had covered mine.

"Any ideas Yuuki?" Kaname asked suddenly breaking the silence in the room.

"There isn't anything we can do Kaname, my father has spoken. The only thing to do is try and make the best of it" I replied acknowledging the inevitable.

"I believe your right any suggestions then on how we should approach this?" He asked

"Not a clue" I answered truthfully

"For now its only an engagement I don't see a point in changing how we behave with each other apart from addressing each other as cousins, we should start saying Fiancee' I suppose" Kaname said clearly trying to be reasonable and calm about this situation.

"I guess your right for now, we not be concerned on the matter" I mumbled in reply

"I guess I should also get you a ring" Kaname mused out loud

"Can we please discuss this at another time...this day has become dramatic" I remarked and since I only heard silence I assumed he had agreed. After a few moments of silence which was falling into a slight awkwardness so I thought to be the one these time to break that silence of awkwardness between the two of us "We should head back to our rooms as well" I said wanting to get away from the silence of the room. I uncovered my eyes slowly pushing myself up to a sit and push strands of hair away from my face then looked to the side of my shoulder wanting to see Kaname seeing him look at me in return.

"Yes, I will see you later on today" Kaname said as we both stood up from where we sat and both walked to the door. Kaname opened the door motioned for me to go first, so I stepped out and Kaname followed behind me. After we left the room the Kaname closing the door behind us we both gave each other a nod and a slight smile to each other before we gone our separated ways heading to our dorm rooms. Soon I had arrived at my room opening the door and entered the room closing the door and leaning against it staring towards the bedroom window in the distance before walking towards my bed. I climbed into the bed and before having to fall to sleep I stared at the ceiling of my room thinking what will tomorrow bring, I eventually closed my eyes and fall to sleep.

(Next Day)

Yuuki P.O.V

It was the next day well for the Day Class and the Night Class were still asleep. Only a couple of more hours before the Night Class students get up and have their day of classes. It was then an hour or two before the moon rises and everyone in the Night Class start to wake up. I climbed out of my bed and walked to my closet getting changed into my clean uniform after having a shower. I started hearing students talking about what is so special about today and that is 'Valentines Day'. I blinked a couple of times staring at the door then looked at myself in the mirror.

"Well now I know what is today" I said to myself in the mirror. I grabbed my stuff and walked out the room closing the door behind me. I see alot of the students excited about today not to mention if its Valentines Day then that would mean there would be an event for both the Day Class and the Night Class. I followed the students out of the building when I wandered what the others are thinking about today's event. While walking along with the many students of the Night Class with their morning greetings I noticed Kaname in the distance along with Ruka and Kain standing behind him. I walked closer towards them but looking at Kaname it reminds me of what happened the other day with our family matter in deciding on having us wed each other. I tried to shake off the thought when suddenly I felt someone come up behind me and wrapping arms around my neck.

"Good morning Yuuki-chan" Shiki said over my shoulder like he would always do when peering over a shoulder. I blinked in surprised then turned my attention to Shiki away from Kaname.

"Good morning Shiki" I greeted in return. I gave him a small smile before he withdrawn and I noticed his not with Rima who usually would always be around him "I notice Rima didn't come with you" I noted to him Shiki looked around when he spots Rima now coming as she approached us.

"Here she is" Shiki said as I looked to see her now standing beside my cousin Shiki.

"If you didn't leave a mess of your room..." She mumbled to herself softly with a little annoyance in her tone of voice. When I noticed the expression on her face I giggled to myself before threading my arms through their's pulling them along towards Kaname and the others. Kaname turned his attention towards us as we approached them having to notice us and when he did his gaze fell onto mine noticing our eyes were locked we both looked away because it caused us to remember what happened the other day but when I thought about it, it made me realize he too had been thinking about the matter, wondered later we would have to talk about it...

"HEY EVERYONE!" We all hear a familiar hyper voice that could only mean one person only when it comes to an event like these. We all knew who the voice belonged to. We all looked to see Aido prancing his way over to us until he now standing beside us few of the others grunted to how cheerful he is "ARE YOU GUYS EXCITED AS I AM!" He questioned us all with a grin on his face "CAUSE I AM!" Kaname rolled his eyes to the side and smirked giving a small chuckle. Aido wrapped his arms around both mine and Kaname's neck when he said that. Kain walked up behind his cousin, Kaname and I shrugged Aido off of us as the gates opened. Suddenly screaming is heard all around the Day Class students lined up at the stalls with names on it. Aido began running to his stall where many girls were squealing and yelling Idol, while Zero glared at the students to stop them from doing anything too bad.

"Aido!" I called out to him as he was running away.

"Yes Yuuki-sama?" He halted and turned around replying

"Control yourself, calm down while enjoying yourself" I told him knowing he would obey like a little lost puppy that he is. As the night class slowly began parting off to their assigned stalls and the students started interacting with the Night Class students. At least the constant squealing had finally stopped which sometimes I question to myself to how much can they squeal without getting a sore throat from all that strain to their throats, imagining it being a constant ringing in a Vampire's ear drums...I made my way around the school building to the side to get at least far from the screaming girls of the Day Class and the annoying Boys of the Day Class. As soon I no longer able to hear the loud voices of the girls I plan on trying to find that fountain both Kaname and I stumbled across finding. When I was on my way thinking I was alone and no one saw me I started sensing someone was watching me in the distance following me, I stopped in my tracks.

"WHOSE THERE!?" I asked standing still with my back facing to whoever that is following me waiting for a respond or reply. Until the person had finally come out of hiding I heard a voice of a male not to mention a human which could only mean one of the students of the Day Class. The scent of the human got stronger and closer so I turned around to see what the human looked like. The boy was quite tall, blond shoulder length wavy hair with blue eyes and fare skin.

"Hi, I figured you would like some company?" The unfamiliar male suggested to me as he approached me until we were five feet away from each other. I stood there staring at him folding my arms across my waist with one eyebrow raised questioning what is he up to or who is he besides being a student at the Day Class.

"And you are?" I asked for his name. The human gave a small smirk and a chuckle before he had given me his name.

"The name is Kuma, a pleasure to finally meet you in person" He said to me as he gave a bow before standing straight and giving a smile towards me. I just stayed silent for sometime but responded with just a small smile and a nod. I looked away from the human who calls himself Kuma and started walking again.

"So how do you like Valentines Day so far?" Kuma asked me from behind as we walking along the side of the school building. I stayed silent for a little while before finally responding to hi, since i was more focus to finding that waterfall from that time.

"Quite Lively..." I said what I thought.

"So you have anyone special for Valentines?" He asked me. I paused myself thinking what Valentines Day really means. When I finally thought about it I answered the boy.

"No there is no one in mind that I have for Valentines" I told him and continued walking looking at the ground then looked straight ahead while we continued walking slowly with pace I asked the same question back "What about you Kuma...Do you have anyone special for Valentines?" I heard a chuckle from behind wondering why was laughing. I was a little confused but then again the humans are strange creatures.

"No though there is a person I've wanted to ask that is if she would accept it" He told me "But she doesn't know I exist but hopefully she will notice me now" He said as he reached out and grabbed my arm, held it tightly. When I felt his grip I turned around straight away staring at him with a little shock but annoyance as to him laying his hand on me.

"Let go...of me" I demanded of him with a calm steady expression and tone of voice. I waited for him to release his hands from me.
