The evening was perfect, Toyah is like a china doll. She is a very quiet and well behaved baby who will only cry quietly when she is hungry.

We had our Chinese takeaway that we used to have every Friday although there is a space missing at the table. Then we allow ourselves to get a little squiffy from the wine reminiscing in the times when it was us three, when things were simple.

Simple, yeah right, while I was swooning after you swooning after Susie.

Before soon it's after midnight and we decide to go to sleep for the night. I get more than I bargained for with the couch, Keith sets up the spare room for me. How sweet. Shut up.

The three of us would always have a pillowfight when I stayed the night but this time it was just us two and it felt different. Like we were going behind Susie's back. He obviously notices two because he suddenly straightens up, mutters something about being tired and bolts.

So I'm not Susie. So I'm not who he wants. That's fine.

I cry myself to sleep that night.
