First impressions? She's an idiot. Take a sample of her blood and put a bullet in her head. There's bound to be a better replacement then her just waiting to be called.
I've seen the videos of Erin, this was a woman who led soldiers into battle against all sorts of hell. Naomi can barely muster the enthusiasm to say hello to the people she meets.
I know I'm being hard on her but this is so much bigger than her. Hell, it's so much bigger than the Slayer. We need her to be strong. We need her to be better than this.

She had the dreams. Apparently she saw how Erin died from a first person perspective. It sounds fascinating and at the very least it's made the girl a believer. So that's something. Though she seems a bit shell shocked by the whole thing and is definitely struggling to come to terms with her new strength. I saw her staring off into space earlier as she crushed a mug in her hands.
What is going on in that head of hers?

She is so frustrating! During breakfast she spent the morning whining about missing her family and her friends. She's been given a glorious legacy and the opportunity to become a god damn superhero and all she can do is whine? Most of us would kill to know our purpose and have her power. These gifts are thrust upon her and all she wants to do is go back to college and finish her degree?
I don't understand it at all.

I watched her training today. She's not hopeless but she's no Erin. She fumbles with the basics and is easily distracted. She gave up on three separate occasions to return calls to her friends and family members. I think they may be becoming a problem but there's definitely a potential opportunity there to focus the slayer on her training, if handled correctly.

They brought in a captured vampire and had her fight it in controlled conditions. I thought she was going to cry when the beast charged at her but then it was like something came over her and she became the warrior we all expected. This is what we've been hoping for, a champion to stomp out the darkness.
She missed the heart on her first attempt but when she finally staked the beast she looked so proud of herself. I actually saw her laugh. Perhaps there's hope for her yet.

Ignore any praise I previously gave her. The girl is willfully ignorant of her destiny. She cancelled her training for two weeks and demanded to be brought back home to see her family. She knows her strength and her worth now, I think this might be the only reason she trained in the first place so that she could demand something in return.
She shouldn't get to make demands. We need her strong not off socialising.
I'm tracking her and her shuttle. Once I've found the location of her family I'll be sure to send it on. She needs to be sent a message. It's not enough to give lip service to your destiny.
