Disclaimer: You know the drill. I don't own Navy NCIS. If I did, Ziva would SO NOT be in that show! And Kate would still be alive, snogging Tony with all her life! Ya hear me?!

"I can't believe you, Tony! You're being so utterly and totally selfish!"

"Me? What the hell did I do? You were the one that-"

"Hey, you know what, forget it. You are sleeping on the couch tonight."

Kate Todd stomped up the stairs, not bothering to turn around when Tony yelled, "You just read my mind!" They just had their first fight in many months. They had yelled and hissed at each other in the car and at the bar so much that she had already forgotten what the fight was about. Kate ran a hand through her neat dark-brown hair and gave a heavy sigh. She heard Tony throw the cushions on the couch to the ground, cursing inaudibly as he yanked on the pull-out couch. She gave a small whimsical smile; Tony was never able to use the pull-out couch.

She quickly changed into a big shirt that was, for the first time, not Tony's and pajama pants. She brushed her teeth, not really concentrating on making her teeth healthy, because she had just heard Tony stomp up the stairs and go into the other bathroom, where he rinsed his mouth and brushed his teeth. She slipped into bed, her eyes shut tight but still thinking. She tossed and turned in the bed, knowing that the only reason she couldn't sleep was Tony. She always buried her head in Tony's broad shoulder, a hand on his chest while his arm was around her. She slept perfectly like that, even with Tony snoring, which ranged from soft to loud grunts.

She loved Tony DiNozzo; there was really no arguing about that. But she didn't want to forgive him, even though she knew it wasn't entirely Tony's fault and she had been a little bit too harsh on him. She glanced at the clock. The bright, flashing red numbers read '12:00 am'. She sighed. She hadn't been getting any sleep. Suddenly, she threw away her blanket and she lay there, her feet digging into the bed, trying to find warmth.

She finally gave in. She opened the door and headed downstairs into the living room, where Tony was lightly snoring. She shook him gently and his eyes immediately opened, staring into hers. He swallowed and stayed silent, just looking at her. His lips were curled into a small frown. "You here to yell at me again or what, Kate?" he asked, sitting up, his blanket wrapped around him tightly.

Kate stared at him. She wasn't sure whether that was spoken out of spite, anger or just plain curiosity.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, just sitting there.

Tony gave a soft, uncharacteristic smile and he leaned forward, pulling her into a hug. His arms wrapped around Kate, holding her as she whispered her apologies over and over again. He told her to stop, saying that it was partly her fault. She pulled away and extended her hand, smiling softly as she asked for a truce. Tony leaned forward again, smiling as their noses were close to touching. He pressed his lips against hers, his hands in her hair.

When they emerged from their kiss, they were grinning like Cheshire cats.

"So does this mean we're okay?" asked Tony, motioning with his hand.

"Well, when people kiss each other, it generally means they're okay," Kate said, smiling playfully. "Now move over, House should be on right now, on Show Case."

"You are way too obsessed with that show, Katie."

"Can you blame me if I think House and Cuddy make a cute couple?!"

A/N: I couldn't help putting my House/Cuddy love in this fic. XD This is my Navy NCIS fic so I'm sorry if Kate and Tony were out of character. I would've loved to put Abby, McGee or Gibbs in this story but it didn't really fit...

Anyway, I don't care whether you enjoyed this fic or not. Just review and you can have a Tate plushie sent to your door! XD
