Her opponent gloats as she's fallen, weak
Her final battle, her only defeat
She has dueled with each crazy superfreak
But this blue maniac she can't beat
His inner demon's unleashed; he's possessed
The epic struggle inside he has lost
When he's at his worst, he is at his best
He'll take over the world, but at what cost?
She falls with wounded body, heart, and pride
For where once was a best friend's smiling face
An enemy's glare and sneer now reside
Indeed, a villain's has taken its place
Behind foul eyes' glint, does good still fight
Or is it only a trick of the light?
