It's pretty hard coming up with this stuff but it's also been the most fun trying out something new and creative in my life. I want to say I hope y'all discover my story in hopes I can continue with this fanfic.

Chapter 5

A week came and went quickly for Team Rwby with the occasional classes and ensuring they would become the strongest team and future huntresses of Beacon Academy.The group was in their dorm room with the WhiteRose duo on Weiss bunk and the Bumblebee duo on Blake's bunk just relaxing after their last class because tomorrow they would set out into town for not only a Team Day but also to see the incoming students from various schools who are either competing or coming to the Vytal Festival.

Ruby was the first to break the silence in the dorm room asking Weiss and Blake if they had any plans for winter break the monochrome duo said no. With glee Ruby suggested they spend winter break with her and Yang on patch because not only would it give Weiss and Blake a chance to visit her home like planned but getting back to school would be easier since Patch was only a 2.5 Hour ride from Beacon.

Weiss and Blake with no hesitation gladly accepted the plan because Weiss can't stand being in a big manor essentially alone cause she wouldn't have anyone to socialize with and would rather spend winter break and Christmas with her friends in which she considers family and Blake because her home Mengarie can only be reached by boat and that takes up essentially most of the break because it takes about 4 days to and 4 days back not counting time spent with her parents

So with winter break plans out of the way early Team Rwby headed for dinner and sat at their usual table with Team JNPR in which Ren and Nora plan to head home while Jaune is going to Visit Pyhrras parents this winter and plan to visit Jaune parents this summer. Team Rwby informed them on their plans Team JNPR thought it was cool and simple they also got on topic of the Vytal festival and asked who would serve as the Duo team and if by chance the sole representative of the team.

Team JNPR nominated Phyrra and Nora as the duo team and Phyrra as the singles fighter.Team Rwby was discussing it and based on fighting styles and other components they determined Weiss and Ruby would be best for the duos and Weiss would serve as their sole fighter.

Ruby left to got get dessert and while she was away Team Rwby and Jnpr we're discussing what to do for Rubys 18th Birthday and various ideas were thrown around what was settled was each person was responsible for getting ruby one gift however to ensure that Ruby didn't suspect anything Team jnpr and Yang and Blake would go into to look for a gift for her while Weiss would spend time with her either studying, training or just hanging out then Weiss would go into town to look for a gift and have the party in team Rwby room.

Luckily they finished talking about the plans for Rubys party just before Ruby came back with a plate with a variety of cookies on them and asked what they were talking about. Lying the said who was the strongest couple out of teams in which they couldn't come up with a solid answer. Ruby believing what they said she said everyone is strong in their own but they went on to say her and Weiss were the strongest couple. After dinner they went to their rooms and went to bed getting ready for there team day tomorrow.

The following morning after Team Rwby had woken up and gotten ready to go into town they hoped into a airship bound for Vale. Once the airship landed the went straight to the docks and in time to as many students from the other kingdoms were arriving.

They saw a bunch of students but a few that caught their eye were a monkey faunas and best side him was a well dressed blue haired boy as they left the docks they spotted team Rwby and began to attempt to flirt with Blake and Weiss and introduce themselves the Faunas being Sun and the blue haired boy named Neptune.

Both girls quickly informed them that they were taken by Ruby and Yang. Both men quickly apologized for hitting on them and started over with introduction and told them they come from Shade Academy in Vacuo and told them they would be seeing them more often as they plan to transfer with the rest of their to team to beacon starting next year.

Team Rwby accepted their apologies and told them a little about beacon and wish them the best afterwards Neptune and Sun left. Team Rwby carried on with their day they went to a local cafe not far from the docks once there Weiss sat beside Ruby and Blake sat beside Yang.A little time after they arrived a server came by to take their order. After they received their drinks they enjoyed each other's company just talking a looking out towards to ocean.

After a few hours they left the cafe a began to do some light shopping for food for their dorm to some clothes.After coming out of one of the shops Ruby accidentally bumped into a girl about Rubys age she was dressed in a nice green dress with long orange hair which curved at the end her a weapon of choice was two swords. After apologizing Ruby introduced herself and the rest of her team the girl greeted them with a kind smile and introduced herself as Penny and that she was Dr.Polendia daughter and that her mother died during childbirth and she said she was lucky to be born considering her parents age.

Penny then went on to say she herself is a protege like Ruby being accepted into Atlas Academy and that she is being supervised by General Ironwood since her father couldn't make the trip to Cale and she went on to say she is hear to watch the Vytal Vestival She also mentioned she has come with her friend Ciel in which I will introduce you to her if we see each other again.

After saying their goodbyes Team Rwby proceeded to walk back to the airships to take them back to beacon. Once they made it back to beacon the the White Rose duo collapsed on Weiss bed with the Bumblebee duo collapsing on Blake's bed. The team made little talk about how today was nice and eventful the day before they went to sleep Ruby brought up the idea that now everyone was in a relationship the wouldn't need the two extra beds and said why don't we move the beds out so we can have more room the team agreed and afterwards sleep consumed Team Rwby.

Author Note: To give people some clarity Team Rwby is in their Volume 4 looks while for Penny I'm using her Volume 7 design and made her human cause she was more human than machine
