Day 2
Waking up slowly, the first thing I noticed was a huge pain in my leg, side and head. Moaning and opening my eyes revealed a bright blue sky completely devoid of clouds, turning over resulted in seeing something which resembled a lizard, but upright and huge. Its massive claws made me want to run like hell as fast as I could. As I was considering this course of action, I realised that the red chunks of flesh looked like the guys I had seen. That told me to stay still and weep quietly inside until that thing went away. A chunk of the overpass fell over at that exactly moment and landed on its tail. (Author's note: 10 luck, you know it's useful!) The shock from this seemed to make it faint immediately. I stood up and held onto a rock for support, my head was still spinning; a quick look down brought my attention to what used to be a pair of perfectly serviceable sunglasses. Crushed by this instant blow to my street cred, I scurried off to that hunk of metal, that seemed to be a settlement.
