After being exposed to an unstable chemical in a lab accident, the bots awake the next day to find their frames underwent an unprecedented change while they slept. Deciding to focus on the second half of their mission, to learn about humans, they must adjust to their new forms while Doc searches for an antidote.

Her departure affected him greatly. It had been over a decade, but Heatwave still couldn't bring himself to move on. She was keeping him in the dark, and it was slowly killing her.
