Yo everyone, sorry for the late chapter. Didn't really do anything over my break and I was having fun. So here's the chapter and everything. Work has been hard, barely had the downtime to do anything. Add into the fact that I hurt my Meniscus while working doesn't help. Its not torn or anything, just inflamed but it hurts immensely none the same.

So, working and my knee just makes me want to go home and relax. I also do homework at home so I just don't want to write at home. Either way, here you go.

The Second Magic Gunner

Chapter 4

Naruto twitched as she sat cross legged on a couch in the hall of the Hokage Tower. Hinata sat next to her not even trying to understand or ask why her friend was annoyed. Naruto already knew that the old Hokage knew that the two of them were here even before they set foot inside the tower yet he makes them wait for an hour already.

The reason she was annoyed was because by the time they got half way into Konoha, it seemed the town already knew who they were. That meant she had to deal with the demon comments from halfway in the village to the damn tower. She was glad she had gotten out of this village for six or more years.

It also reinforced her idea of not stay here in the village. She loved to more around and see the world. The village just represented things that were in the past and no longer who she was. That and the comments she received already made her want to blow the place up. She would be laughing the whole time while doing it to.

Sadly she couldn't as that would just make her a wanted criminal than her more infamous name. She never had gotten a record as every accident she cause was in self defense or saving people. It just made people not like her and make it so she couldn't break anything…. Well try to make her not doing anything hazardous to their towns.

It wasn't her fault that danger and destruction seemed to follow her wherever she went nowadays. Her skills weren't good on the damage control side of things and it wasn't her fault that people loved picking fights with her. They wanted to increase there fame or something which would mean she had to die. She liked being alive after all. That and she might have a bounty on her head. She never asked.

Now, you would think that the Hokage would want to see her almost instantly finding out that she was alive and all. No, he makes them wait outside his office for the longest time and she could of went out and done something fun. Like go see the Ramen shop after so long. It had been a long time since she had Ramen. Hey, it was her favorite food don't judge her.

"That's it." Naruto said having enough and standing up. Hinata looked up from her book blandly and looked over at her. She sighed as she realized what she was going to do and realized that she was going to have to apologize profusely. Why was she friends with Naruto again?

Naruto walked over to the door, raised her heeled boot and kicked the door in. Said door went flying towards the desk, causing the old man behind it and the people in front of it to dodge it. It crashed through the window and a scream came from down below. "MY CART. WHY?"

"Sup old man. Been a long time." Naruto said walking into the room noticing the other old crones in the room beside the old man behind the desk that she was talking to. They all seemed to glance at her while the bandaged man seemed to glare slightly for some reason.

'Hm…. I don't remember dealing with any bandaged man like him before. Did I prank him before? Nah…' she thought to herself as she noticed the pointed look the Hokage was giving her. She just smirked at this as it was obvious he didn't like the interruption but something in them showed he was glad at the same time.

"I see your manners haven't improved." The old female in the group stated with a more deadpanned tone. Naruto just gave a defiant smirk to this as she really didn't care. Hinata walked in, expressionless as usual and bowed to them in apology at what Naruto had done.

"At least he…. She has returned to us. It is good to have our most important asset returned to us." The mummy man stated and it wasn't her he was talking about. That much was obvious to the people who knew what he was talking about… namely everyone.

"Yeah yeah. You just want the giant fuzz ball in my stomach. Tell me something I don't know. Also, I haven't returned. I'm here for a visit." Naruto stated with amusement in her voice as they all blinked at this. They opened there mouths to say something but closed them as they didn't know what to say. It wasn't about the fox that they cared about but that she was here for a visit.

"Your not… staying? I figured that when you came home that you would actually stay here." The Hokage said with some strain in his voice but still that of a leader. He was her grandfather figure but she really didn't want to stay in a place that hated her. That and she just had way to much fun traveling around.

"Your not leaving anymore even if we have to restrain you." The mummy man stated with a narrow of his single eye but this didn't go over well with Naruto. Energy seemed to start arcing off her in a look similar to electricity and the look she had on her face showed her defiance and anger at that statement.

"Try it, old man." It was a simple statement that came out of her mouth but it held strength to it. Unwavering confidence in her skills and it sent a chill down there backs. While all of them could take her even by themselves, they wouldn't come out of it without some injury. Her freedom seemed to give her liking to not being held down or controlled by anyone it seemed.

"Alright, that's enough. Since she is here, you three leave us alone." Hiruzen stated with a commanding tone. The three elders wanted to say something back to that but a quick look from Hiruzen stopped all comments. They all narrowed their eyes at him before shuffling out.

"Well that went well. This is why I told you we should wait." Hinata stated making Naruto roll her eyes as the electrical like energy disappeared. Naruto didn't care that much. The mummy didn't have to say that nor did he have the right to.

"You love giving me headaches don't you? Even after all these years." Hiruzen asked with a blunt stare that made her laugh lightly.

"Yup."

Hiruzen sighed at this. He really wished almost dying changed her. It apparently didn't do anything to quell her rambunctious personality. "So do you want to explain why you're a girl because you sure didn't leave as one?" Hiruzen asked the more obvious question for something like this. What he didn't expect was Naruto's reaction which caused him to sweat drop.

Naruto curled up in a corner with a depression cloud over her head making circles with her finger and cried lightly. She was muttering obscenities about some crazy old man and his sadistic nature. He had no clue who this Zelretch was but he sounded insane.

The Hokage turned to Hinata as if asking if she knew and she sighed. "The person that saved her life is named Zelretch. She was cursed with the poison, mostly through biological and Fuinjutsu mixed in with the poison. To save her life, he used a potion that changed her body. This caused the curse to be broken due to having a different biological make up. He thought it would be funny to make her female and the form of someone he knew for shits and giggles. He then trained her so he could go back to his world to laugh in the sister, of who she looks like, face." She explained without a hint that she actually cared about what she was going through.

"I see that Hiashi's decision was an extremely bad one after all." Hiruzen muttered to himself at how Hinata talked. He looked back up at her with a serious look. "Your father isn't going to be really happy that you came all the way back out here."

"And I do not care. I'm here to make sure that Naruto doesn't do anything stupid." Hinata responded back coldly and Naruto just cried a little harder at this. She looked over to Naruto who was still curled up in the corner and kicked her for good measure. "Its been years get over it."

"Hinata-chan so mean~." Naruto whined out but she got up. Hiruzen just seemed to sweat drop even more at this as years ago, Hinata could barely talk to Naruto without blushing, stuttering and/or fainting yet here she was bossing her around.

"So your really not staying? I thought you would still want to work towards your dream." The Hokage asked towards Naruto with a hint of hopefulness. He really wanted Naruto back but he wasn't going to force her. It was better to keep her on their side then against them.

"Meh, I like traveling. Its fun, you meet a lot of people and just being free of everything. Don't have anyone really telling me what to do and where to go. I just go where the wind takes me." Naruto said with a happy smirk on her face to which Hinata gave her a pointed stare.

"You invaded my house because you thought it was a quite place to train after almost dying and wouldn't leave no matter how many times I told you to." Hinata stated honestly to which Naruto laughed nervously. Ok, so maybe she didn't listen anyways but who cares.

"So what are your plans for the future then? To travel the world and do what exactly?" The Hokage asked as he was intrigued about what the now brown haired teen wanted to do. He also had to check the seal but seeing as how nothing seemed to be the problem with her, he would look at it later. Not that he could fix anything with it but that was besides the point.

Naruto opened her mouth but Hinata decided to interrupt and answer for her. "She wants to travel around helping people because of her hero complex and someday have a family of her own." Hinata stated dryly as she opened her book again as this conversation seemed to not really involve her.

Naruto turned and glared at Hinata as she wasn't going to answer truthfully. It was private to her and while she liked the Hokage, he didn't need to know. Hiruzen blinked at this and just stared at Naruto for a minute before his rational mind seemed to take over.

"You know that would require you to… you know with another guy and can you even…" he started but trailed off as a shiver went down his back. For some reason kids and Naruto raising said kids didn't form a good picture in his head. It frightened him. Naruto went bright red as she knew the implications but just didn't like hearing them herself.

"Yes I can and I don't… mind the idea I guess you could say. I was young so I had no sexual preference really but I still prefer girls. There's also artificial means anyways." Naruto said with a blushing red face and the Hokage nodded at this.

While he didn't really understand it or anything, she was young when she left and most likely changed so things like this are how you are raised. She traveled and was treated as a girl. It was only natural that she would pick up what a normal girl would pick up and think like. Granted he doubted she picked up a lot but enough.

"Alright, so now that's out of the way. Why did you return? I know that you wouldn't just come back for a visit even if that is a nice addition." Hiruzen stated making even Hinata curious as well. Now that he said it, she did know that what he said was true. She would never come here, a place that gave her so much sadness, just for a visit.

"I might have heard some rumors about something that could happen during the Chunin Exams. I thought I might come take a look." Naruto said with a sly look on her face while Hinata muttered something about hero complex before going back to her book.

"Oh and could you tell me what these rumors might be?" Hiruzen stated seriously. It must be pretty bad that could endanger innocent lives. From the reports he has gotten about someone nicknamed Ms Blue and matched Naruto's new description, she always protected innocent people should they need help.

"Well… I may. It might have to do with a certain snake that might pay a visit that might be a little sandy." Naruto stated with another sly look on her face. Hiruzen however got exactly what she meant by that and now knew the severity of the coming situation. It didn't look good at all.

"How did you get this information?" Hiruzen asked to which Naruto smiled fondly.

"A certain sandy red Tanuki." She responded cryptically.

"I see." Hiruzen said grimly before smiling again. He had things to do if what Naruto said was true. She didn't seem the type to trust rumors and if that vague description meant anything, it was the Ichibi Jinchuuriki. "I have a lot of work to do you two but I would love to talk to both of you again. I bet your father will be here soon."

Naruto stifled a giggle at the tone of annoyance in the old man's voice. Ah the fun. She wished she could be there to see his face. Oh well, you cant have everything. Hinata bowed while Naruto waved a good bye before exiting the room and heading into town.

Ten minutes later, the two of them were in the market and saw a couple of people they both recognized. One of which, was someone Naruto hated with a passion. It was none other than Uchiha Sasuke. She didn't know why she hated him, she just did. There was something about him that just rubbed her the wrong way.

"Oh hey, its Hinata. Your back in town finally." A pink haired girl stated to which Hinata just looked at her before nodding. She didn't say anything nor did she care if everyone thought she was gone a vacation which was not the case. Hinata wouldn't be here either if she had anything to say about it and was only here to piss her father off. Ah non-threatening revenge was the best.

"Who's your friend Hinata? She's really pretty." The pink haired girl said with an excited tone and Naruto seemed to beam at the praise. To bad it was going to be short lived but it was still nice all the same.

"This is Naruto and yes I mean that Naruto Sakura." Hinata said not even looking up from her book and Naruto soon got the looks of all three people that they were talking to. Not to almost mention the dark looks from the surrounding citizens but they weren't important.

"HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN? I CALLED NARUTO PRETTY." Sakura yelled out getting even more people to look at them and most likely causing a bigger scene then before.

"Idiot." Sasuke stated before looking away not really caring at all. Naruto's eye twitched at this as a small strand of electricity arced from her and moved up her body. She was going to kill him. He was nicer when he was a kid but now he was down right cold. His attitude didn't help in the matter as he dismissed her just like that.

"Please do not ask. It happened due to someone else and leave it at that. I'd rather not have her curling up in a corner and crying again. She has my house." Hinata stated firmly as if that was what was going to happen and Naruto really did have her house. It was sealed away in a small scroll…. Somehow fitting that big of a mansion in that small thing seemed impossible but whatever.

Sakura was about to ask more in-depth but the look Hinata was giving her seemed to promise pain if she did. So she did the wise thing and kept her mouth shut. "Well you two, we have a mission to get to and if I find out you became like this for perverted reasons Naruto I'm going to beat you within an inch of your life." She threatened while Naruto just raised an eyebrow before nodding. Not that Sakura could do anything anyways but that didn't mean she was going to say it.

"Sounds like fun. Heading somewhere interesting?" Naruto had to ask. She was curious as they did have backpacks and seemed to be packed for a long time. Hinata looked at her with a narrowed look as she didn't like where this was sounding. Naruto was way to adventurous as it is.

"Were heading to wave. Just guarding an old drunk bridge builder till he's done with his bridge." Sakura said with a wave of her hand as she seemed to not think much of the job. Naruto however blinked at this as her mouth opened to say something only to get interrupted by Hinata again.

"No." She said sternly.

"But I haven't even said anything." Naruto responded in a whine.

"No. You have my house. We just got here and your not leaving me here by myself when you dragged me here. You will find a place for my home and you will put it there. Do you understand?" Hinata almost growled out but it just came out as an annoyed stern tone.

"Fine.~" Naruto said downtrodden as she hadn't been to wave in a while. She turned back to the two and tilted her head. "By the way, where is your third member?" Naruto just had to ask and if you ask, you shall receive. As soon as she said that, someone walked up to them.

"Onee-sama." The young female girl growled out as she instantly saw Hinata. Naruto looked between the two and muttered an oh boy before going quite. It seemed that the young girl didn't like Hinata that much and you could literally see the anger in her voice. Who would of thought that young Hyuga Hanabi would be a Genin already?
