Chapter 16

Callie is the first to wake up the next morning. She's been staring at the blonde for a good 15 minutes, something she tends to do when they're together it's like she's trying to figure out if she's really there or not. There aren't many things in Callie's life that make her genuinely happy but lying in bed with her girlfriend who's using her shoulder as a pillow is definitely at the top of the list. Callie looks over at the clock and sees its 11:13 in the morning and this is the longest she's slept all week. The smell of coffee is teasing her; she needs coffee if she is going to survive the day, well any day. Callie very carefully extracts herself from the iron grip of her girl, throws on some basketball shorts, a sports bra and a t shirt before going to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth.

The Latina walks out of the bathroom and smiles when she sees Arizona is now lying on her stomach blonde hair hiding her face, her naked back on full display. She walks to her side of the bed and runs her hand along the smooth skin of the blonde's back before moving the hair out of her face and kissing her slightly open lips. She chuckles when Arizona doesn't move.

Addie and Teddy always seem to migrate to Callie's house, at one point or another during the day they always end up either in her kitchen, in the pool or watching the giant flat screen in the living room. Today is no exception, they are in the kitchen drinking some much needed coffee and trying to figure out what the rest of their day looks like.

The red head is sitting on Teddy's lap with her arm around her shoulder, "are you and Callie still playing basketball with the boys today?"

"Ummm of course, why wouldn't we?"

"Well I just thought with Arizona here Callie would want to spend every waking moment with her." They start to laugh at Callie's inability to be away from the blonde for any period of time without going through blondie withdrawal as Teddy calls it.

"No we are playing; we have had this planned for weeks she's not getting out of it."

"You know she's gonna try to fight you on it." Addie says kissing her girl on her forehead.

"Eh it'll be fine she can't be up blondie's ass 24/7."

Callie walks in the kitchen, "what are you two doing here?"

"Why do you ask us that every time we're here you'd think you'd be used to it by now? Just go enjoy the coffee and say thank you." The red head perched on her girlfriends lap answers.

The Latina grunts, grabs her favorite mug from the dish rack and pours herself a nice cup of black coffee and takes a nice long savory sip. "What are you guys talking about?" She asks while sitting at the table.

"We were taking about our basketball game today."

Callie's face falls, she had completely forgotten about the game. She really just wants to chill at home with Arizona. "Yeah about that…"

Teddy interrupts her, "oh no Chica you are not cancelling on me. You can be all love sick and clingy another day today you are mine." Addie starts laughing from her seat still on her girlfriends lap; she knew Callie was going to flake.

"Come on Teds we can play anytime, Arizona's not going to be here for much longer."

"Oh really that's the excuse you're using. Tough shit we are playing I have an overwhelming need to kick Mark's ass and you're going to help me."

Callie suddenly remembers all the shit he's been giving her about Arizona and her own need to kick his ass kicks in. "Well when you put it that way."

"Yes!" Teddy yells in Addie's ear making her jump and smack her on the arm. "Ow," she says as she's rubbing her arm.

"So that means you and your twin can do something." Callie addresses Addie.

"Shut up Cal, we should go watch you play. Oohh we can be your cheerleaders."

Callie groans, "oh god Addie just go shopping or something. You don't even know anything about basketball at least Arizona knows the deference between a jump shot and a dunk." Callie jokes earning her the finger from the red head and a laugh from the tall blonde.

All three women sitting at the table turn towards the kitchen entrance when they hear shuffling. Teddy snickers, Addie's mouth is hanging open and Callie almost chokes on her coffee when she gets a glimpse of her girlfriend walking into the kitchen topless with only a pair of black boy shorts on.

Teddy is trying really hard not to laugh at Arizona's current state of undress, "well that's a way to make an entrance." The tall blonde whispers.

"That's not funny Teddy," Addie says blushing but not ashamed and not hiding the fact that she's checking out the blonde's body and she will be the first to admit it's hot as hell.

"Stop drooling babe." Teddy jokes earning her a smack on the arm.

"You really do need to stop hitting me."

"When you stop being a jerk the hits stop." Teddy sticks her tongue out at her in response before she tightens her grip and whispers you're beautiful in her ear then kisses her cheek making the red head smile.

Callie's attention is focused on the blonde, she watches Arizona pour herself a cup of coffee with her back to them. She's staring at her intently both turned on by the sight and fighting the urge to cover her up. "Babe?"

Arizona spins around and smiles at her girl, "good morning baby." She walks over to the table, smiles at her two friends and bends down gives her girl a kiss on the lips before sitting next to her.

Addie is still staring and Teddy is giggling, "Babe you do know you don't have a shirt on right."

She looks down at her bare chest, "oh fuck I didn't even realize." Arizona says not making any attempt to cover up, she really doesn't care it's not like they haven't seen them before, well two of the three have. It was at that moment she addresses Teddy and Addie, "good morning ladies."

"Morning squish." Teddy says with a smile on her face.

"Morning Arizona," Addie says feeling kind of embarrassed, her cheeks turning a pretty shade of pink.

"So what are we gonna do today?"

"Babe do you want to go put a shirt on?"

"No not really, I'm comfortable. I know you're fine." Looking at Callie who is smiling back at her. "Am I making you guys uncomfortable?" She asks looking at her two friends sitting across from her.

"Nope I'm good." Teddy smirks

"I swear to god Teddy if you don't stop perving you will never see these again." Addie says pointing to her own breasts. They all laugh at the look of sheer horror on the tall blonde's face. "No we're good now." The red head sends her a wink and smirks when she sees the blonde blush.

"That's enough talking about my girlfriends boobs." She kisses her temple.

"Ok what are we doing today?"

"Well your Latin lover and I have a basketball game with the boys that we will not be cancelling. So the question is what are you two doing today?"

Arizona rolls her eyes at her best friend, "oh Addie and I can be your cheerleaders." She looks at Callie and grins.

Addie looks at Arizona and smiles, "that's what I said and these two scoffed at me." Pointing to her girlfriend and best friend.

The blonde looks at her girlfriend with the face that can get her anything she wants even at 28 years old. "You don't want us to cheer for you?" She asks with a pout.

"What babe I never said that? If you want to come cheer you can." She said trying to placate the blonde unable to resist the pout. Yes she is whipped already and isn't afraid to admit it.

Teddy starts to cackle, "Shit Robbins you still got it, whipped her already."

Callie chuckles "shut the fuck up bitch."

"I don't know what you're talking about Theodora." She bats her eyelashes at the blonde and they all start laughing.

They're quiet morning is interrupted a few minutes later by Mark walking into the kitchen but he stops dead in his tracks when he sees the blonde topless sitting at the table. "Holy fuck." Not loud enough to get anyone's attention.

Arizona is leaning over the table reading something Addie is showing her, she nods her head and smiles at the red head before sitting back down. That's when she sees Mark standing there staring, she looks down at her chest and shrieks while diving under the table.

"Dammit Mark don't you know how to use a doorbell."

Walking further into the kitchen, "since when do I have to use a doorbell I have a key remember."

"For emergencies only this doesn't look like an emergency." Callie says while taking off her t shirt leaving her in a sports bra. "Here babe put this one." Handing Arizona the shirt.

They can hear Arizona put the shirt on but she still doesn't come out. "um squish are you gonna come out." Teddy asks.

"No I'm good."

"Come on Arizona you and I have plans that don't include you hiding under a table." Arizona doesn't answer.

"Ok good luck with that Callie we're gonna go get dressed." Addie gets up followed by Teddy and they walk out to go back to their house.

Callie looks under the table at the blonde, "come on babe I know you're embarrassed but it's just Mark. Arizona rolls her eyes but gets out from under the table and sits on Callie's lap.

"Morning blondie." Mark smirks at her.

Arizona blushes and looks down, "I'm gonna go shower and get dressed." She whispers looking at Callie and walks out the kitchen past Mark with her head down.

"Well that was interesting."

"What are you talking about?"

"Why was your girlfriend sitting at the table topless with your best friends?"

"Because she doesn't care if they see her but you on the other hand she has a problem with."

"What? Why?"

"I might be because you're a perv." Callie gets up to make sure Arizona's ok and to get dressed.

"Well I definitely see what you see in her. What are they c's or d's?"

Callie turns on her heels and looks at him with fire in her eyes, "Mark don't go there, you are not to comment about this again."

"Come on Cal we always talk about this stuff."

"Not this time, not with her. She is off limits to your perving you got me."

"Yeah fine," he mumbles.

"I mean it Mark, no flirting, no comments and you and I will not be discussing our sex life. You make another comment about her in a remotely sexual way and I will rip your balls off and feed them to you."

Mark gulps, "shit ok Cal I get it. Can we go play ball now?"

"Yeah let me go get dressed." Callie leaves Mark alone in the kitchen and goes to her room to get dressed and check on her very embarrassed girlfriend. She walks into her bedroom and stops in her tracks when she sees a very naked Arizona standing over her open suitcase that the girls must have brought over this morning trying to decide what to wear. This is definitely something she could get used to, a sexy ass blonde walking around naked all the time oh fuck yea.

The Latina pushes off the door frame and the movement catches the blonde's eye. They look at each other and smile. Callie wraps her arms around her, back to chest and squeezes. "I'm sorry about Mark." Callie says kissing her temple.

"Don't be it's my fault for walking around topless, needless to say that won't happen again."

"Hey hold on let's not be too hasty I'll just get the key from him, please feel free to walk around in any state of undress I will not object."

Arizona laughs and shakes her head, "perv. Aren't you supposed to be getting dressed for your game? Mark and Teddy are probably waiting."

"Let them wait." She starts kissing her neck, she smelled like honeysuckle. It has become Callie's new favorite sent.

Arizona moans feeling herself get even more turned on, "Calliope, we have people waiting." She groans.

"Fine." Callie says trying her best to pout as she lets go of the blonde.

"Nice try babe." Arizona laughs.

The Latina is about to go into the bathroom to take a shower but the blonde's ass on full display is doing things to her. She looks at it and licks her lips; she knows there is no way Arizona will give in with their friends waiting for them. Arizona is about to put on a pair of lace cheeky panties but before she can Callie slowly walks up behind her and grabs her arm to turn her around. Once they're face to face the brunette palms her ass and jerks her flush against her front causing Arizona to gasp.

Callie slowly leans in pressing their lips together; it doesn't take long for the taller woman to turn the kiss into something much more. Their lips move in synch before Arizona opens her mouth wanting more, Callie does just that and plunges her tongue into her mouth. Both women moan into the others mouth when their tongues come into contact, they both love and savor the taste of each other. Callie takes her lower lip between her teeth and bites then runs her tongue across it to ease the sting, both actions makes Arizona moan and mentally kick herself for needed to stop before it goes any further.

Arizona pulls back panting and chest heaving, she slowly opens her eyes and sees Callie smirking at her. Callie gives her a small peck on the lips before saying in her ear. "That is just a preview of what I'm going to do to you tonight." Callie walks past her and slaps her on the ass before walking into the bathroom.

The blonde yelps when she feels the sting of the slap, she stands there in a horny haze for a few seconds. She tries to get her body to calm down and when she finally does she whispers, "fuck" into an empty room.

After getting dressed Addie and Arizona go to brunch then shopping while Callie, Teddy and Mark meet Owen, Derek and the rest of the "guys" for their basketball game with the blonde and the red head promising to meet them when they're done.

Addie is taking Arizona to some of her favorite places to shop in downtown Miami. They both knew their girls were right the two have so much more in common than they do with their best friends. Both women are happy they have someone they can be girly with considering they have both tomboy best friends and girlfriends.

They are now walking into one of Addie's favorite boutiques when a short brunette waves at her from behind the counter. "Fuck." She whispers. Arizona stops dead in her tracks when she hears the redhead curse.

She puts on a fake smile earning a weird look from Arizona, "hey Jennifer what's been going on."

"Nothing you know same shit, I haven't seen you around lately. How have you been?"

"I'm good working at the club most nights, you know how that goes." Addie is keeping an eye on Arizona as she talks, she breaths a little easier when the blonde wonders off looking around.

"Yea I get that, I haven't been there since you know," she says getting a nod from the red head. "How is Callie anyway?"

At first Arizona thought the small brunette was a friend of Addie's but when she hears her girlfriends name her ears peak with interest. She starts walking a little closer to hear what they have to say.

Addie is nervously looking around for Arizona. She sees her inch her way back over. There is no way the blonde isn't going to hear this conversation. She was worried because she has no clue how much of their pasts they shared with each other and before Callie fell for the blonde she slept with any woman that was willing to put out. The short brunette in front of her included.

"She's good, you know Callie."

"That I do." She says almost to herself.

Apparently Arizona and her bat like hearing heard her because she drops the shirt she's looking at and walks over to where they're standing. Addie looks at her with a small smile; Arizona returns it and turns her attention to the other woman standing there.

"Hi I'm Arizona." She sticks out her hand.

"Hi Jennifer," taking the outstretched hand and shakes it.

"I couldn't help but over hear and I heard you know Callie." Arizona asks with an almost sickeningly sweet smile on her face.

"Yea, I'm sorry who are you?"

"Shit right, I'm a friend of Red's over there." Nodding towards Addie. "And Callie's girlfriend and I was just wondering how you know her." She tries to sound as innocent as possible, smiling wide at the woman in front of her whose eyes look like they're about to pop out of her head.

"Oh I…I'm…she and I used to." Jennifer is stuttering her way through but has no clue what to say. She didn't know Callie was in a relationship. The last time she saw the Latina was last year when she caught her and Megan having sex in her office at the club.

Arizona takes sympathy on the girl. Her and Callie talked about their pasts. Of course she doesn't know the exact number of woman but she does know there were many. "Hey Jennifer no worries we all have a past I don't hold it against her or you. I do however want to know if you have those jeans in a 4?" she turns and points to a table of jeans in the center. Looking at Addie, she smiles and winks before walking over to the table with Jennifer behind her.

The two women spend the next couple hours shopping for anything they could think of. Arizona is having so much fun with the redhead. She doesn't really have anyone she can do these things with in New York besides April so it's nice to be able to shop till she drops but she misses her girlfriend and can't wait to meet them at the park.

Callie and Teddy along with Derek and Owen have just spanked Mark, Jackson and Mark's friends Rick and Mike beating them 62-48. Mark ended the game when Teddy kept making a point of blocking every single one of his shots. Derek and Owen had to leave to tend to their women as they put it so it's Callie and Teddy sitting on the bleachers drinking Gatorade with Jackson.

Gulping down some Gatorade, "why are you fucking with Sloan?" Jackson asks Teddy in particular.

"Because the man is an over grown child and he's seriously getting on my nerves." Teddy can feel her blood boil just talking about him so she takes a deep breath. "He's an ass."

"No argument from me but there's something else." Jackson answers.

"When the fuck did you get so perceptive Avery?" Callie asks with a chuckle before looking at the tall blonde who is quickly becoming one of her best friends. "But really what gives?" She asks looking at Teddy.

Teddy takes another breath knowing Callie is not going to be happy. "He's just been getting on Addie about our relationship, telling her that she doesn't really know me and I could be after her money."

Callie's eyes become wide open as she turns her gaze to her best male friend on the court wondering what the hell is wrong with him. She had no clue Mark was harassing Addie as well, like seriously what is his problem? The three of them are definitely gonna have to have a talk.

"And she told you."

"Yea apparently he's been at it for months and one day she snapped. I seriously thought she was going to break up with me that day."

Callie laughs, "please that woman is obsessed with you." That makes Teddy smile brighter than she has all day.

"Oh like you're not obsessed with a certain 5 foot 5 petite blonde." The tall blonde says with a knowing smirk.

"Maybe." Callie responds smiling into her bottle of Gatorade before taking a swig.

"You two are so pathetic." Jackson finally says having just sat there listening to them.

"Oh just wait Avery when you find that person you'll be the same way and Cal and I will be glad to remind you of this conversation." Callie nods agreeing with the blonde.

He totally ignores what was just said partially because he's both nervous of the possibility and afraid he's never find what they both seem to have found. Instead he goes back to the conversation at hand. "What about you Cal? Has he been giving you shit?"

"Yea I'm not sure what his problem is but him and I are going to have to have a talk."

"What has he been saying?"

"Oh no I'm not telling you Teds. I know for a fact you'd get pissed and I really don't feel like taking the jackass to the hospital because you beat the shit out of him."

"Well what the fuck was it and why the fuck aren't you ready to rip his balls off." Teddy is very protective of Arizona, Callie found out that she made a promise to her brother that she'd protect her and she takes that very seriously. Jackson decides that maybe he should let the two women talk alone so he silently gets up and walks towards Mark and the other guys.

"Calm down Teds, this right here is perfect example why I didn't tell you." Callie explains trying to calm her down. "Look he said pretty much the same things he said to Addie except the money comment." The Latina chooses her words carefully leaving out the sexual comments he's made.

"Have you told her?"

"No she's trying to like him because he's my friend but I can tell she really doesn't and this morning did not help. She was embarrassed; I told her I'd get the key from him."

"Yea she likes to walk around in as little as possible."

"Trust me I am not complaining and definitely don't want her to stop but I want her to feel comfortable and knowing that Mark has a key does not help with that."

"Yea blondie is kind of a prude." Teddy says with a serious tone in her voice before looking at the brunette and busting out laughing knowing full well Arizona is far from being a prude.

When their laughter dies down the two women sit in silence just enjoying the weather, both silently wishing that their women would hurry the fuck up.

Teddy is the first to spot them a few minutes later, she watches Addie lean into Arizona and whisper something that makes the blonde throw her head back and let out a laugh that even from where she's sitting she can see her whole body shake. She starts to chuckle watching the two women talking and laughing from a distance.

The tall blonde smiles and says to Callie, "our women are coming." When Callie looks at her she points to the blonde and redhead who have stopped at the basketball court to say their hellos to the guys.

The smile that appears on Callie's face is almost blinding, she'd never admit it to anyone but she missed Arizona the few hours they've been apart. She is stressed with work and Mark is getting on her nerves. But watching the blonde walk towards her with an equally bright smile on her face, her eyes locked only on her sets her mind, body and soul at ease.

Okay I know I said there was going to be a time jump but this chapter although not important to the story kind of wrote itself. I promise on all things Calzona there will be a time jump of about a week next chappy. Thank you for reading, following and reviewing it means the world.
