LUCY
~TIMESKIP~ (Lunch Break)
It sucks when you're all alone here in this big cafeteria. What sucks even more is that the cafeteria is full and you have no place to sit. Right now, I'm standing here in the middle of the cafeteria looking like an idiot waiting for a miracle to happen. Which the kamis have answered not long.
"LuLu!" I looked behind and saw Lisanna waving like a madman. I rolled my eyes. I quickly looked behind her incase that asshole is with her. Thankfully, he doesn't. I sighed. I looked at her and faced her.
"What's up?" I casually said.
"Do you want to seat with us?"
I raised a brow. "Us. Meaning you and HIM? No, thank you." I was about to turn and walk away if she didn't gripped my shoulder and made me face her.
She shook her head. "He's a nice guy. Give him a chance."
I looked at her in disbelief. "A nice guy?! How do you call a boy and girl in an old abandoned classroom doing-" I stopped. I shook my head. She doesn't need to know that. I don't know if I'm just hesitating or just defending him. Either way I don't want to be around him. Lisanna looked at me as if urging me to continue. I sighed. "Anyways, no thanks. I'll just go and sit somewhere else. Thanks for the offer." I was about to leave when she grabbed my arm dragging me with her.
"For the love of-!" I kept struggling, but to no prevail. I didn't know that this girl can be this strong. Note to self: never piss her off in any circumstances. She let me go when we're already at their table. I looked around and saw some familiar faces. Lisanna cleared her throat making everyone's attention to her.
"I would like you to meet someone." She said and pulled me next to her. I smiled nervously.
"Some of you may know her and some of you may not. This is Lucy Heartfilia. She's a friend of mine and also my co-cheerleader. I want you guys to be nice to her, okay?"
The boy with silver hair like Lisanna's stood and pointed at me. "Isn't she the one who's with Levy at the auditorium awhile ago with that grand entrance."
I smirked. "Yep, that's me alright." He went to me and extended his hand.
"I'm Elfman Strauss, brother of Lisanna. I'm in 12th grade already. Nice to meet you."
I took his hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet your acquaintances."
"Aren't you a bit stiff, Lu-chan?" Levy said. I looked at her and noticed she's next to the black haired guy she liked. I smirked.
"Says the girl who's fidgeting next to her boyfriend." Levy and the guy next to her blushed like a tomato. Making my smirk wider. Everyone at the table laughed at my comment.
"You have guts, bunny girl?" The black haired guy said still blushing.
"Excuse me?" Is he flirting or threatening? Either way I'm not really affected.
"Name's Gajeel Redfox. I'm amazed you're not cowering right now."
I raised a brow and looked at him, amused. "Wait. Should I?"
Levy shook her head. "Lu-chan isn't just some ordinary girl."
Gajeel nodded. "I can see that, chibi."
Levy punched Gajeel then pouted. "Meanie!" I faked a cough. I looked next to Levy and saw a blue haired girl hugging a topless Gray. Wait say what?
"Uhm.. How should I react to this?" I pointed out to Lisanna while she shrugged.
"Depends on how you see it." She simply said. I looked back at them and saw Gray struggling with the blue haired girl. I snickered. Making their attention to me.
"Hi, Lucy." Gray said still struggling. Seems that blue haired girl noticed Gray say my name and glarred at me. I sweatdropped.
"Seems that you are Juvia's love rival, Lucy-san." She said still glaring at me.
I gulped nervously. "Err.. Loverival? Err.. I think your wrong about that Juvia-san. I don't think I like him in that way. Soo... He's all yours I think?" I'm not really sure what to say.
Juvia or so what her name is, smiled and walked to me and extended her hand. "Juvia is happy to meet Lucy-san. I am Juvia Lockser. Juvia's 16 yrs old. Juvia's the school's swimmer. Juvia's also Gray-sama fiancee. So Juvia is already warning Lucy-san to not flirt with my Gray-sama."
I sweatdropped. So many Juvia's... Also Gray-sama? And fiancee. How scary is these families. With that said. Juvia went back to cuddling/chocking Gray. I looked beside Gray and saw Erza and a blue haired guy with a tattoo on he's eye talking intimately. I smirked yet again.
"Did you enjoyed the pictures that I threw this morning, Kaichou-san?" Erza immediately blushed and glared at me. Next to her, the boy with the tattoo looked at me and smiled. I returned his smile.
"Hi. I'm Jellal Fernandes. I'm the Student Council V.P. I'm 17 yrs old. And also I'm Erza's classmate and boyfriend. " He said this confidently that made Erza blushed a darker shade of red. I thought he was done, but I guessed I was wrong when he asked me. "May I ask what picture are you talking about?" My smirk grew wide yet again. Erza glared at me, hard. But I shrugged it off.
"Of course! I would like to tell you that. But first!" I looked at Erza as she glared at me but at the same time gulped nervously. I can see at the corner of my eyes Levy suppressing her laugh. I clutched the picture that was on my pocket and smiled devilishly at her.
"Kaichou do you forgive me about the thing that I did earlier?"
I noticed she clenched and unclenched her fists while I continued to smile. "Lucy..." She threatened. I looked clueless and waved the picture back and forth.
"Ara. You don't? I guess we should let Jellal over here see it." Before she can reply. I handed Jellal the picture. Erza tried to get the picture but Jellal doesn't let Erza get it. I heard Levy laughing like an idiot while I smirked. The people on the table looked back and forth to me, Erza, and Levy. I noticed Jellal blushing.
"I didn't know you like it that much, Jellal." Jellal blushed a darker shade of red. Erza seeing Jellal flustered took the chance the get the picture and was shock to see it. She immediately blushed. I laughed as I saw her reaction.
"What the hell is this?!" She said as she let everyone on the table see a picture of a horse making loveee. Everyone on the table laughed. Except for those two.
"You tricked me!"
I shook my head. "Nope, I didn't do such a thing." I smirked. She glarred at me and I shrugged.
Gray, Gajeel, Elman, and the Brown haired guy whistled. "Well, aren't you a tough girl." The brown haired guy said. He approached me, took my left hand, and kiseed it gently. I furrowed my brows and looked at him in disgust. I immediately took my hand and gently pushed him away. He looked stunned at my act.
"Didn't know that you'd like to play hard to get."
I glarred at him. "Hell no. I just hate your guts." I know he was caught off guard, because his eyes were round like saucers.
"Ow! You just got burned!" Gajeel howled. Everyone laughed.
"Shut up, pea brain!" He said, while not looking at me. I heard Gajeel say 'hey' but we didn't paid attention. He smirked. "You're different. I like that. Name's Loke Celestial. This group's well known player." This time I heard the effer said 'hey' I ignored him and rolled my eyes. "Nice to meet you." I nodded. I was about to sit down next to Gajeel when someone stood and spoke up.
"Hey! Aren't you forgetting something?" The effer shouted. I looked at him and rolled my eyes.
"Oh right. I remembered you're here also." I glared at him. Everyone can feel the tension between us. Lisanna looked between me and the effer nervously.
"What the hell did I ever do to you?" He said while glaring back. If I think back, there's nothing that he ever did to me to make me feel so pissed off. It's just that I hate his guts. I shrugged and sighed.
"Fine. But make this quick." It looks like he's face immediately shone up when I said that, or maybe it's just my imagination. Probably.
"My name is Natsu Dragneel. Well I gueess you probably know that. I'm 17 yrs old. I'm already in 11th grade. Nice to meet you, Luigi."
I felt my veins popped when I heard the last part. That's what he always say to me when he bugs me. "My name's L-U-C-Y." He ignored me and smiled. I really wanted to punch his face but I refrained from doing so. I was ready to sit next Gajeel yet again when The effer or should I say Natsu spoke, again.
"Btw Luce! I have a request."
"No." I ignored him and made my way next to Gajeel, but was stopped when a hand clutched my arm. I saw NATSU pulled me and made me sat next to him.
"What the-!" He cut me off.
"Sorry. I don't take 'no' for an answer. "
"Whatever." I don't care anymore. I just wanted to eat! I stood for like 30 mins for their introduction like hello! A hungry person here. But anyways I do appreciate eating here with them. It's jolly and enjoyable. I noticed the effer smirked as if he felt successful in making me sit next to him. But really I don't care. I just need to eaat!
When the last piece of food is swallowed I drank my water and cleared my throat. "Soo, lemme guess.. You've guys known each other in a ball when you were young."
Everyone fell silent and was shocked. "How did you know that?" Gray asked. I shrugged. The effer looked at me but it didn't bothered me anyway.
"We met in Levy's 5th birthday. Apparently, her parents invited all of us. And bam! We became together since then." Natsu said. I nodded.
"Though the 2nd heir couldn't hang out with us." Jellal said. I stiffened when this topic was opened.
"I don't know what he or she looked like." Loke said.
"I heard that she's a girl." Erza said while she's eating her cake.
"I knew she went to my party! She even gave me this. Though I forgot what she looked like since it was only once that I saw her." Levy said as she let everyone see her red heartshape pendant. I secretly smiled when I saw it.
Lisanna sat next to Natsu and clinged to him. "Who cares? Maybe that bitch doesn't want to be with us right, Natsu?" Everyone on the table frowned.
"For once, I'm not with you Lisa-chan. I saw her once, and she looks like she really wanted to hang out with us but it looks like she's being stopped by something or by someone." Natsu defended. This time Lisanna was the one who frowned and let go off Natsu. I kept quiet as everyone was telling me what they think about the 2nd Heir.
"Whatever." Lisanna said as she rolled her eyes. Elfman crossed his arms.
"That wasn't really nice, Lisanna." Elfman said, but Lisanna completely ignored him. I shook my head. Didn't thought Lisanna can be LIKE this.
Everyone on the table was silent, no one dared to talked. I sighed. I hate awkward silences like this. I stood and clapped making everyone's attention on me.
"For me, maybe Natsu's right. She really wanted to hang out with you guys and was just being stopped by someone important to her. Who wants to be lonely? No one right! If I were her, I'll probably march up to you guys and asked you to be my friend." With that said, I smiled. I took my tray, stood up, and bowed.
"Thank you for letting me sit with you guys. I really appreciate it. Also nice meeting you all." I was about to walk away when they shouted.
"Wait!" They said in unison. I stopped walking and looked at them, confused.
"You can come back and eat with us, bunny girl." Gajeel said while smiling.
"Juvia wants to hang out with Lucy-san sometime." Juvia said as she grinned.
"I'll miss you if I can't see you everday, princess." Loke said as he winked at me.
"This table isn't fun without you, Lucy." Jellal said as Erza agreed.
"This table is manlier if you're here, Lucy." Elfman said as he ripped his shirt. Making everyone sweatdropped.
"You made this gang happier. So come and eat or even hang out with us, Luce!" Natsu said as he grinned.
I couldn't help but feel tears form in my eyes. I thought I was contented with just having a friend or two, but to think they wanted me to join their gang. I wiped the tears away and nodded.
"Hm." I smiled. Everyone on the table howled. Except for one. Lisanna stood up making everyone quiet and look at her.
"Wait-! Just wait a minute! Why the hell can she get in our gang so easily?! While I need to work so damn hard just to fit in with you guys." Lisanna said in rage. I was shocked.
"I introduced her to you guys so she can SIT with us, not hang out with us!?" She continued.
Erza stood and slapped her on the face. Everyone was dead silent. No one can defy Erza. Lisanna was shocked. Erza shook her head. "We wanted to be with her because she's true to herself and to her friends. She doesn't need to try and fit in with others. And also she doesn't act like a brat and speak like a bitch."
"But I'm a Strauss! And who's she? Even her family isn't know throughout the world! Not even Magnolia! Yet here you are Erza. Defending her! Why? Why is she important more than me. I've got money, the looks, and the fame! What does she have?! Nothing!"
"Lisanna! Enough." Natsu slammed his hands on the table. "You may have the looks, the money, the fame. But you don't have what she has. Respect. Even though you're rich doesn't mean anything if you don't respect people. I'm sorry, Lisa-chan but I have to go with Erza with this one." He sat down and avoided her gaze that was in disbelief.
Lisanna was loss of words. She looked at Elfman who just ignored her. She looked at everyone at the table for help and no one looked at her as they averted their eyes on the floor. She looked at me and glared.
"This isn't over, Heartfilia." With that said she stood up and stomped her way out of the cafeteria. The table was engulfed with silence. I cleared my throat.
"Er.. I guess I'll just go." I was about to leave when someone grabbed my wrist and turned me. Natsu smiled as I felt my hear beat faster.
'Shoo shoo! Go away! Go away weird butterflies that's in my stomach!' I mentally screamed.
"Don't go. We enjoy you here. So come on and join us, Luce." I playfully punched him.
"Whatever." With that said I went back to where I was seated before and started to open a conversation.
I stood and bowed. Everyone at the table looked at me. "Please take care of me."
Everyone smiled and looked at each other. "Welcome Lucy!" They shouted in unison.
'Maybe this isn't bad. I might have some problems in the future regarding the most influentials, but right now I just wanted to enjoy this moment and be with everyone.' I mentally sighed.
