Chapter 4

Hara's P.O.V

She ran, and ran, ran. Hara had no idea where she was going, and she didn't care. How could he try to kiss her? They had just met, and weren't even that close yet! Plus she knew that getting into a relationship with anyone associated with Aizen would lead to a bad outcome, Aizen would use the relationship to his advantage, blackmailing her to do anything he wanted. That was mostly the reason she had fled, plus the fact that he was taking things a bit too fast.

Hara skidded around another corner, startling a small dark haired arrancar with long sleeves who stood stock still, so she had to jump over him. She flew down the hallway now, only a blur, her face set and her eyes angry. Does he think I'm that easy?! She thought to herself, or does he just like me that much? She growled to herself, and kept on going.

By the time she stopped, she found herself on a balcony that overlooked Hueco Mundo. Panting, she sat on the railing and looked out.

"Damn him." she muttered, angry at him and herself. "Why did I run away?" she asked herself. She did kinda like the guy, even though he seemed to be a bit hot headed, she could see he was kind underneath…and he did seem to like her.

"Well, well, if it isn't Miss Ayumi…" said a silky voice that gave her chills. Hara turned around to see Gin Ichimaru standing behind her, an ear to ear grin on his face. She narrowed her eyes,

"What do you want?" Ichimaru pretended to be shocked,

"Is that how you treat old friends?" Hara gave a small laugh and turned to look out on Hueco Mundo. Ichimaru walked up to the balcony wall beside her, where he leaned against it and a smug look on his face.

"You're one to talk about treating friends, Gin." she eyed him coldly, He raised an eyebrow,

"And what do you mean by that?"

"Rangiku is pretty upset with you, you know…" He shrugged,

"Yeah… I know." he looked a bit surprised and with what she thought was sadness, but he went back into his smug demeanor in an instant.

"You're in a mood today, aren't you?" She glared at him from the corner of her eye, "Did someone make you mad?"

"That's none of your business." she snapped. Gin laughed,

"I think I struck a nerve…" Hara's hand twitched in anger, he noticed and put up his hands,

"Relax…By the way, I like the change in wardrobe, very cute-" Hara's hand came up and almost slapped him in annoyance. He caught her hand at the last second, his expression never changing.

"You've gotten faster I see…" She dropped her hand to her side,

"And you haven't changed a bit." She stood on the balcony wall, looking down at a balcony fifty feet below. She turned to face him, "Still as annoying as ever." she suddenly tensed her muscles and jumped down, her skirt fluttering but not going up to reveal anything. With a light thud, she landed perfectly crouched on the lower balcony. Ichimaru leaned down,

"And you're as hot tempered as ever!" he called. Hara ignored him and walked into the room.

Grimmjow's P.O.V

Grimmjow still hadn't found Hara, he had looked all over for her, even tried to sense where she was, but it was as if she had disappeared into thin air. He shook his head, why the hell did he care so much? It was unlike him, why did he care about how she felt or anyone else for that matter?

"Damn it!" he yelled, before turning around and storming off towards his room. If she wanted to, she could come back…he wasn't going to chase her around…Even though he was supposed to be her escort…He couldn't even find her anyway! So he'd better just go and relax and wait it out, sooner or later she would reappear….he reasoned, and then he could find out what the hell had happened.

Hara's P.O.V

Hara found herself in a bit of a problem… She hadn't thought where her escape from Ichimaru would lead her, and in reality, she would have been better off staying with him…or Grimmjow. She pushed the thought quickly from her mind, as she tried to find a way out of her current situation. You see, the balcony led to a certain room…a certain someone's study…someone she would hate to have to talk to let alone be in the same room with…alone.

"Miss Ayumi?" called a voice, Aizen's voice.

"Hai." she replied, hesitantly stepping into the room, her eyes downcast.

"How nice of you to drop in." he said pleasantly. Hara didn't laugh. Aizen was sitting behind a large desk, his feet resting on it comfortably. He stared at her, "I see you are wearing a new outfit. I must say, it looks quite nice on you." Hara did not look him in the face, not wanting her eyes to give away the disgust and boiling anger she felt. "Please, take a seat." said Aizen, gesturing to a chair in front of him. Hara nodded and sat down in it obediently,

"Thank you, Aizen-sama." He gave a laugh,

"What is with the sama stuff? You never said my name so formally before." Hara dared to look up, hiding her distaste for him,

"Everyone else here does, so I thought I should too." He smiled warmly at her,

"Hmm…Well, how do you like it here? Are my arrancar treating you kindly?" Hara forced a smile,

"Oh yes," in her head she added, "And some of them are a bit too friendly." Aizen leaned back, his hair falling in his eyes,

"Good, good. And what of Grimmjow? He can be a bit of a handful; I hope you will forgive me for making him your escort…"

"Oh no, he's fine…" replied Hara, her mind replaying the almost kiss. Aizen sat up,

"Well that is indeed a surprise…Grimmjow doesn't usually behave for anyone…" he smiled at her with a glint in his brown eyes, "But then again, you always were a charmer with even the toughest and most violent…" Hara did not look him in the eyes, both because of the anger, and the fear. Her instincts were telling her danger, and she had known it since the moment she had realized whose room it was.

Suddenly, as she sat there, she felt something pull her face upwards. It was Aizen.

Hara hadn't even felt nor heard him move, and she felt her heart freeze in her throat. He stared down into her eyes,

"Hara, why is it that you will not make eye contact with me?" he asked, using her first name casually. She bit down the rage, but Aizen saw it and met it with a cold amusement.

"Because, it is disrespectful." she answered, her nails biting into her palm to keep herself from letting lose her anger.

"But you are not under my command…not officially anyway." he said, "So you don't have to act so submissive towards me…" he squeezed her chin just a bit, "What happened to all that rage you carried around? Hmmm? You used to be so…" he bent down and put his lips near her ear, "Wild." Hara shook slightly from the closeness of Aizen. She could feel the blood dripping from her hand onto the floor, she concentrated on hearing the drops as they fell, not wanting to focus on Aizen. He seemed to sense it and smiled before pulling away, "You're not living up to your name…Hara Ayumi, she who is wild and walks her own path…" he sat back down in the chair.

Hara sat there, her eyes downcast, her lips tight, pale. Aizen watched her smugly, he enjoyed getting to her…and he hadn't had a chance to in a long time. But unlike before, she wasn't fighting back…was it because she was in his territory and not in one where she could easily escape? Surely that wouldn't have stopped the Hara he thought he knew… He thought it was disappointing, he'd rather have her fight back, or act all tough like before than act as some obedient little girl. He shook his head at her,

"You can go now." he sighed, gesturing towards the door.

Hara jumped to her feet and slowly walked towards the door, trying not to run. Aizen gave a quiet laugh as she opened the door and exited the room, and Hara ignored him. Once the door was shut, and she was out of earshot, she let out a sigh which turned into a howl of rage. Quickly she ran up the hallway, and of course, she had no idea where she was going, but that didn't matter to her at the moment, she was free. Her rage was almost pouring out of her, and she needed an outlet fast, before she exploded and went on some sort of rampage, though, in a way, she already was on one.

She spotted an open window which led to the vastness of Hueco Mundo. Gray white sand stretched as far as the eye could see, and in a way, it was strangely soothing to her. But it wouldn't be enough to cool her temper…she needed something else. Something she could release every ounce of anger on, a hollow. Without a second thought, she leapt through the window and onto the sand below.

"That was easy." she said to herself as she quickly flew across the sand, searching for the hollow that dared attack her, so she could release her rage on it and cool down. About twenty minutes later, she found one. It bared its teeth at her and came towards her, thinking how easy and delicious it would be to kill her. Smiling the fiercest grin, Hara said,

"This isn't your lucky day…" as she pulled her zanpakuto out, "But it's mine!"
