***Chapter 37***
"Another Seritei?!" cried Renji, "What the hell are you talking about?!" Hara didn't answer, only stared at her in shock.
Raeyah gave Renji a sly grin, "Did you think you were the only ones?" she laughed, "Hollows don't just attack Japan you know…"
Renji scowled. "I know that-"
"If you did, then why'd you question why there'd be another Seritei?" Renji's silent glare made her grin wider, "Anyway, There are…" she counted off her fingers, "Were five."
"FIVE?!" exclaimed Renji.
"Were?" asked Hara. Raeyah nodded, her expression dark.
"Yes, were. But I'll get to that. Since you guys don't have an inkling of what's goin' on, let me educate you." She nodded her head to Raven who pulled a notepad from a bag that was at his side.
He drew a quick map of the world, while highlighting Japan, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America in different colors.
He then pointed to Japan which was highlighted in red.
"Alright, so this whole highlighted area belongs to your seritei. This one," Raeyah moved to Asia which was highlighted in yellow, "Belongs to the E.S.S.S," a snicker ran between her and Cyan, "It stands for "Eastern Seaboard Soul Society… They didn't want to call it "Asia's Soul Society" because of what the letters would spell…"
Raeyah grinned before waving her hand, "Anyway, they take care of this area," she moved her finger up and down the highlighted area, "But don't mess with any other area." She turned to them, "Ya get it?"
Renji, Hara, and Grimmjow nodded. "Good, good. So… we," she gestured to her group, "Hail from here." She pointed to North America which was highlighted in blue. "Now most S.S's tend to keep in communication with others… But, yours didn't. Meaning you guys have been kept out of the loop."
"What do you mean?" asked Renji.
"I'm gettin' to that!" snapped Raeyah, "Well, that traitor of yours…Sosuke Aizen, he's been busy." A heavy tension fell over the room, as Raeyah continued, her eyes darkening, "Almost all of the S.S's have been eliminated."
Hara and Renji's eyes widened as the words sank in,
"W-what?!" gasped Hara, "How could he-?"
"The Soukyoku," said Grimmjow and Raeyah at the same time.
She nodded at him.
"Exactly, Mr. Blue-Hair; Aizen-teme's used it on three of the S.S's, the E.S.S.S (Eastern Seaboard Soul Society), the E.S.S (European Soul Society) and the S.A.S.S (South American Soul Society)." She let the sentence fade into silence before continuing, "The only two remaining, and just by luck, are," she pointed to North America, "My people," she then moved to Japan, "And yours."
"I'm thinking Aizen has plans for Japan, which is why he hasn't attacked…yet. As for us," she glanced back at her comrades, "It was partly he thought us too small to be a threat, and partly due to the other S.S's intervention. They were attacked first, and the survivors came to us… In return for our hospitality, they fought to protect what was left." Raeyah looked at the ground; "Nevertheless… we lost many…" her eyes were determined and strong as she looked back up at them, "Though our people aren't in communication with each other… My boss… Commander General Valcon… wished for the same fate not to befall you as well, which is why we are here. If Aizen successfully destroys you as well, he will be nigh unstoppable."
Grimmjow let out a sigh as he ran his hands through his hair, "Kuso…this is a lot to take in." Hara glanced at him and then at Renji who was clenching his jaw in anger and frustration.
"We have to stop him…" said Hara, "We must stop him."
"That's why we're here," said Raeyah, "Our S.S sent us to come and help ya'll take him down."
"You guys strong?" asked Grimmjow, eyeing Raven who was stemming the bleeding of his stomach wound. His dark eyes flashed at Grimmjow, before he looked back down at his bloodstained hands.
Raeyah grinned, "Well… we were just playing around earlier… And…" she fished through her pocket and pulled out the badge, "I am a captain after all…" Renji made a sound of surprise, and Raeyah's grin grew larger. She gestured to Cyan and Raven, "Cyan is a third seat…for squad 11, and Raven's a lieutenant for squad 12… And like I said earlier, I'm captain of squad 14…" she ruffled her hair back, "We'll keep Aizen on his toes, so don't worry."
"I do have a question…" said Hara; Raeyah's eyes moved to stare at her. "The hollows…why are they..?" The wolf hollow, Nuada let out a chuckle; it sounded more like a growl.
"Why are they with us?" replied Raeyah, "Well… It has to do with why your S.S didn't want to keep in touch with ours. See, a few years back our Technology Department did some experimenting with hollows…" she patted Nuada's side, "As you all already know, hollows are driven by their need to feed on other souls, as well driven by any unfinished business or unresolved emotions they had after they died. It makes them unstable… Well, what if we sated that drive?" Nuada dipped his head in response, "If Hollows didn't have that drive… They would be semi-normal, and not have to kill others."
"So a few adjuchas were introduced to the idea," said Nuada, speaking for the first time. "Drake, Eros, and I included." His voice was deep and soft, "Not many of us cared to work with the Shinigami, let alone change our ways… For as long as anyone could remember, Shinigami and Hollows were enemies. Most adjucha agreed that it was foolish to place trust in shinigami and a few even turned and attacked…"
"But," began Drake, in a whispy voice, "There was a more immediate problem; If we allowed the shinigami to change us, we wouldn't eat souls anymore…so, would we revert back and become menos again?"
Grimmjow silently nodded, knowing full well what was meant. Hara glanced at him curiously,
"If an adjucha does not eat the souls of others, Hollows included, he will revert back to a Gillian, and from there if he does not eat, will return to a menos and completely forget his persona. If that happened, there would be no going back." Explained Raeyah,
"So we were pressed with a problem; if we worked towards this goal with the Shinigami… would we lose ourselves in the process?"
"After a few months, a special supplement was created. A sort of stabilizer if you will," said Raeyah, "It was able to stop the reversion of the hollows, as well as cure them of their drive to kill."
"The process wasn't easy," interrupted Nuada, "But here we stand."
"Because of this 'hollow purification', your S.S fell out of contact with us… Yamamoto didn't approve of it, so he cut us out of the picture." Cyan grinned as she continued, "But we're too cool to be pushed to the side like that, so we came to help you," Raeyah stood up, "And help you we will…"
Nuada and Drake both tensed as clapping was heard from behind somewhere; all turned to see Urahara standing in the doorway, his eyes glinting.
"Nice speech there," he said, smiling. Sweeping his hat off of his head, he bowed, "It is good to see that Valcon-san kept his promise, even if Yamamoto-san did not." Raeyah titled her head and took a few steps forward.
"You'd be Urahara Kisuke, am I right?"
"Indeed," he replied, tipping his hat. A loud scream came from upstairs, followed by yelling and slamming sounds.
"Wha-?!"
"I told you I'm fine!!" yelled a familiar voice, "Let go!"
"No I cannot allow for that!"
"Shut up! It wasn't a serious wound from the beginning!" Ikkaku came stumbling down the stairs shirtless, with bandages covering his chest; he was tailed by Tessai and Ururu who came chasing after him.
"Ikkaku, are you alright?" asked Hara going towards him. He turned towards her,
"Like I said, I'm fi-!!" Ururu wrapped her arms around his neck and pinned him down while Hara laughed; Yumichika came tearing down the stairs, followed by Matsumoto and Hitsugaya.
"Ikkaku! Let go of Ikkaku!" yelled Yumichika as he ran towards them.
Ururu had finished with Ikkaku, "Excellent job Miss Ururu! Let's bring this one down as well!" cried Tessai, before tackling Yumichika who screamed.
Hara was all but rolling in the dirt with laughter as she saw Yumichika; one end of the bandages were stuffed into the ground so he couldn't run away, and a huge length of the rest were hanging off his arms which were flapping as he ran in a circle, trying to get loose. He looked very like a distraught, mummified, white bird.
Raeyah and her group stood in the back, watching the whole thing. Only Raeyah and Cyan had slight grins on their faces; Raven and the three adjucha looked cautious and if anything, annoyed.
"Oi, Hara!" snarled Ikkaku as he lay on the ground, "Where the hell were ya? We were fighting ya know!"
"I know that! We all wanted to go too, but he," she pointed at Urahara, "Wouldn't let us…" her eyes went wide, "Wait a minute…" she turned to the man in the green and white pinstriped hat, "Urahara-san… did you know Raeyah was going to show up?!"
"I thought it a definite possibility," grinned the man from beneath his hat, "So I had to have a small welcoming party, no?"
"Who are you talking abou-?!" It was then that Ikkaku, Matsumoto, Yumichika, and Hitsugaya noticed Raeyah and her group.
~~~LATER~~~
"That tasted disgusting!" cried Cyan, wiping at his mouth. His eyes widened, "Oh it worked! I'm speaking Japanese, right?"
"Yes," said Urahara as he passed the other packet to Raven. "Here you go~!" Raven downed the green liquid, before nearly gagging. Cyan patted his back as Raven coughed; when he could breathe, he looked up.
"Thank…you…"
Urahara smiled. "No problem. I invented these," he held up the empty packets, "To solve any language barrier problems that might happen… This is the first time I had to use them, so really, thank you." He chuckled, "Now I can find out if there are any side effects…"
Cyan froze, "Side effects?!"
A grin spread across Hara's face as she leaned forwards, "Yeah, we forgot to tell you about those… In about ten minutes, you'll break out in purple and pink spots," Cyan began searching his body frantically, before he looked up to see everyone burst into laughter.
"Damn you!" he snarled.
Raeyah patted his head. "It's all in good fun, little brother." She leaned back with a contented sigh, tired from having to repeat their story, as well as answering the questions asked. A silence fell over the group, before Hara sat upright.
"Who…Who fought Zuro?" she asked. Ikkaku and Yumichika exchanged a glance.
"Ichigo," said a voice; all turned to see Rukia at the stairs. "Don't worry, he's fine," she said, seeing a few worried expressions, "He's at home resting…" she pulled out her phone, "For some reason I can't get in touch with soul society…"
"There's some heavy interference between worlds," said Raeyah holding up her own cell, "I can't get in touch with my Soul Society either." Rukia's eyes widened as they moved to stare at who had spoken,
"Your…Soul Society?"
Grimmjow, Renji, Hara, Raeyah and Cyan let out a sigh; the whole story was already repeated earlier, and would have to be again.
I don't want to sit through it again… thought Hara, standing up. She glanced at Grimmjow,
"Hey, it's gettin' crowded in here, isn't it?" he stared at her for a moment,
"Yeah."
Hara tilted her head towards the door. "Let's go get some fresh air then, ne?"
He stood up and she grinned, "All right, later guys." They went towards the door and she was sure that Renji had grumbled under his breath. "Not fair," which made her and Grimmjow grin in response as they walked up the stairs.
~~OUTSIDE~~~
"Ah!" cried Hara, falling back against a building with a contented sigh, "It's nice out here!" She titled her head back; bright stars sparkled through the dark curtain that made up the night sky.
Suddenly something blocked her view and rested his forehead against her shoulder. Hara smiled and wrapped her arms around Grimmjow's waist; he smiled against her neck, his breath warm on her skin.
"Tired?" she asked. He pulled back and rested his palms against the building, his eyes on hers.
"A little," he admitted.
She smiled and pulled his hand down from the wall; tugging it she said,
"Come with me."
He complied silently, his free hand shoved in his pocket. Hara led him down the street and towards Ichigo's house; Grimmjow was about to question why, but she turned a corner and went a different direction.
A minute later they were standing on the top of a hill, below them was the river. Hara let go of his hand and lay down in the grass, her hands behind her head. Grimmjow sat down and ran a hand through his hair, slicking it back before staring at the reflection of starlight on the water.
"You alright?" he asked after a few minutes. Hara's eyes moved to him.
"Yeah…" she muttered. As alright as I can be… He turned to stare at her, his eye brow raised slightly.
"No you're not," he replied, a slight growl in his voice.
Hara blinked. "Yes, I am," she said, before looking up at the sky. In a second he had rolled onto his knees to stare down at her, a distinct frown on his lips.
"What's wrong? Talk to me," There's no getting away from him, she realized; Grimmjow was blocking her from rolling away with his arms, and she found it hard to even turn her eyes away from his.
"I'm fine," she said, biting her lip afterward.
"Hara…" he rumbled, pulling back. "Tell me," She sat up, her hair falling around her face. "If those new guys said something to you-"
"It's not them," she replied quietly. "It's just that…" she pulled her knees up and rested on them, "Aizen's wrecked a lot of people's lives, hasn't he?" It was more of a statement than a question, "I mean, what Raeyah said…" she clenched her fists, "Is he really that powerful?!"
"Does it really matter?" asked Grimmjow, "We'll crush the bastard and make him pay; that's all there is to it."
The corners of Hara's mouth twitched as a slight smile appeared, before it faded away. "I don't think I…" she swallowed, "I could kill…Zuro…"
Ah, this is what's got her upset, realized Grimmjow. Hara wrapped her arms around her chest, her chin resting on them as she shivered in the cool breeze, "I don't even know if he's really himself… The Zuro I knew would never attack me like that…nor hurt anyone I care about…" she shivered again, "I don't know-" Grimmjow had pulled her against his chest, his arms around her and his face against her neck, "Oh!" she gasped, "You're warm!"
Grimmjow chuckled, before resting his chin on her shoulder. Hara snuggled against him, her fingers entwining with his as she sighed, "What would I do without you?!" He chuckled again.
"Probably freeze your butt off, ne?" Hara giggled, tilting her head back so she could look at him; he grinned at her. "Thanks Grimm," she said, before turning to look at the river.
A few minutes later she looked back at him, her expression thoughtful, "You know…I always wondered about something…" He raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"When I first met you, I thought you were a hell of a lot rougher than you are…" He pulled back to stare at her, "I thought I'd end up fighting you or something…" A grin stretched across his face.
"Ah. Well you're not disappointed, are you?" Hara let out a trill of laughter, before she pushed him down into the grass, her hands on his shoulders.
"Baka, why would I be disappointed?" she kissed him on the lips, "You're the most wonderful, sweet, sexy, guy I've ever-" Grimmjow rolled her off of him and instead pinned her down.
"You really don't get it, do you?" he asked; his expression serious.
Hara tilted her head. "Get what?"
He sat back and rubbed his neck. "The way I am with you… It's not like me…not like I usually am…"
Hara sat up and stared at him, "The only meaning for my existence was to become stronger… I destroyed; killed…I didn't need a reason, other than crushing weaklings under my heel. I lived for my killing intent…and I didn't care about anything else." His eyes were soft as he stared at her, "Just when I thought everything wasn't going to change…I wasn't going to change…You appeared and changed everything…"
Hara felt her cheeks redden; her feelings for him burned in her veins and made her feel…she didn't know how to explain it, other than having a sudden burst of emotion explode in her chest. She moved towards him, and he came towards her, their eyes reflecting the starlight.
"Grimmjow…" she whispered, before he crashed his lips against hers.
Without breaking the kiss, he swept her off her feet and carried her bridal style towards their apartment, not seeing anything else but her.
When they made it to the room, he and she fell onto the bed, kicking off their shoes and laughing softly before kissing again. When they pulled away, Hara twined a lock of his hair in her fingers,
"Orihime's not home…" she commented. Grimmjow grinned, noting how her cheeks had flushed pink and how her body had risen in temperature.
"Neither is anyone else… We have the whole floor to ourselves…" he said as he leaned in and kissed her roughly; Hara's arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer…
Neither of them woke up until late morning, and that was only when a loud boom came from outside; the sound of a car backfiring.
Hara sat up and yawned, stretching her arms over her head before grinning at the devilishly handsome man beside her, his hands behind his head and his blue hair a mess.
She jumped to her feet.
"I call dibs on the shower!" in a flash she had run to the bathroom, turning on the hot water and pulling out some towels.
She got in, and a moment later Grimmjow tapped on the shower door,
"Oi," he growled, "We can share, ya know." Hara let out a giggle and let him in, enjoying how his hair hung in his eyes as the water drenched it. She parted it so he could see, before she kissed him on the lips. He backed against the wall, his hands sliding down her back as the hot water pounded against them.
After their shower, Hara made breakfast, and it wasn't an odd concoction like Orihime's either, but something somewhat normal.
"American pancakes with fruit and whipped cream!" she exclaimed happily as she sat the plate in front of him.
"Whipped cream?" asked Grimmjow. Hara turned around with a blue and white can in her hand,
"Yup. Here, say 'Ah'!"
Grimmjow stared at her, "Open your mouth, silly." When he did, she pressed on the nozzle and let the cream whizz out. Grimmjow pulled away sharply, coughing and wiping it away with his hands.
"Too…much!" he gasped, "You could have suffocated me!" Hara laughed as she put some on his pancakes, and then hers. When she looked up, Grimmjow was licking the whipped cream off his hands; she giggled.
"I guess you like it then, huh?" He nodded, before taking a bit of a strawberry.
Just after they had finished breakfast, and Hara was doing the dishes, which she claimed to have ninja skills for; someone knocked at their door. Grimmjow got up from the table and walked towards the door.
"It's probably Hime-chan," said Hara, placing the last dish in the drainer. Grimmjow opened the door, but it wasn't an auburn haired girl.
"Huh? What do you want?" he asked, staring at the short captain.
Hitsugaya stared up at him. "Come with me, the both of you. There's an emergency."
"What happened?" asked Hara, at Grimmjow's side in an instant.
Hitsugaya didn't answer, but instead walked across the hallway to Orihime's room. They followed; Hara's cheerful expression changing to concern.
Ikkaku, Yumichika, Renji, Rukia, Matsumoto, Raeyah, Cyan and Raven were standing in the room, by the large shinigami TV which was hissing as it tried to connect.
"What's going on?" asked Hara. A second later Ichigo burst through the door, his eyes widening as he saw all the people.
"Ichigo…" muttered Rukia, a mixture of shock and worry on her face.
"Rukia…what-?"
"How is the spirit receptioning?" asked Hitsugaya.
"It seems to be complete," replied Matsumoto.
"Connect me," he commanded. A moment later, a familiar face appeared on screen; Hara gasped in surprise.
"Ukitake-taicho!" The friendly looking captain stared at her with surprise, before he turned to face everyone in the room.
"Where's the General Commander?" asked Hitsugaya. Ukitake's expression darkened.
"I've asked to take his place,"
"For what reason?"
The tall white haired man's expression fell, "Because, I was the last one to confirm the identity of Inoue Orihime passing through the Senkaimon and going over to your side."
"What?!"
"From that reaction, I see that she hasn't arrived there at all…"
"What the hell do you mean by that Ukitake-san?!" cried Hara.
"Inoue…where did she disappear to?! Have you found anything over there?!" Hara glanced at Ichigo, his face a mixture of worry, anger, and confusion.
"I will state my opinion…" he said slowly, "Her two escorts have returned alive. According to their stories, Inoue Orihime has gone to the arrancar side, either abducted…or…it is thought that she is already dead."
Ichigo froze, his eyes wide.
"…dead…"
"Ukitake Taicho!" cried Hara, her eyes flashing silver, "Orihime would never…"
"I know. I don't want to say such things either…I'm talking about possibilities here! From the information we have, she has been attacked by the arrancars, and then disappeared along with them."
"GOD DAMMIT!" yelled Ichigo, "You don't even have proof and you say she's dead?! That's bullshit!!! Look at this!" he held up his wrist, "My wrist was heavily wounded from yesterday's battle! A wound that no one here could heal! And that was gone like it never existed when I woke up this morning! I can feel Inoue's reitsu…can you still say she's dead?"
"…I see" said a deep voice, Yamamoto came forwards, forcing Ukitake off screen, "That is a pity."
Hara's jaw clenched with rage as she stared at the old man.
"A pity…? What do you mean?" asked Ichigo.
"Certainly, if your story is true, then Inoue Orihime would still be alive. However that, at the same time means that we have been betrayed. If she were abducted, she would have never had the chance to see you before she left. In other words, if she has disappeared after healing your wounds…Inoue Orihime has, by her own will…joined the Arrancars."
"Bullshi-!" yelled Hara and Ichigo at the same time as they leapt forward, but Renji caught Ichigo and Grimmjow grabbed Hara's shoulder to stop them.
"Stop," said Renji, "Any more talking will only get you both into worse situations. We understand you, Yamamoto-san," He turned to the screen, "From here on, as part of the Hitsugaya Primary Force, I Abarai Renji, 6th Squad Lieutenant…will head for Hueco Mundo in order to bring the traitor Inoue Orihime back to her senses!"
"Renji..!" gasped Ichigo in surprise. Hara could only stare at her red haired friend in surprise.
"You will not," replied Yamamoto in a stern voice. "Now that the completion of the arrancar's battle preparations has been proven, all members of the Hitsugaya Primary Force are commanded to return immediately to be stationed for Seritei guardianship."
"That means to…abandon Inoue?" whispered Rukia.
"Indeed. There is no need to put a single life and the whole of the world on a scale." Rukia's expression darkened.
"Excuse me General-san, but we are unable to follow those orders…"
"As I expected… I am glad I planned ahead." He replied.
Hara's eyes widened. "What do you-?!"
A large boom resounded through the room as the Senkaimon gate opened and out stepped Kenpatchi Zaraki and Byakuya Kuchiki.
"That's the story." Growled Kenpatchi, "Get going, now."
"Don't refuse. We have been directed to use force if necessary," said Byakuya.
Hara let out a sound that was a cross between a hiss and a growl, her shoulders tense. Grimmjow stood beside her, his eyes on the two captains.
Raeyah, Cyan and Raven stood against the wall; Raeyah was in the front, hands on her hips in a slightly protective, slightly bored manner.
"I won't ask for soul society to lend a hand," said Ichigo, "But at least tell me how to get into Hueco Mundo. Inoue is a part of us, I'll go and save her by myself."
Hara nodded.
"Not by yourself baka," she growled, "I'm not abandoning Hime-chan either." Yamamoto looked at them sternly.
"Unacceptable. Your powers are necessary for this battle. I won't allow for selfish actions nor a meaningless death. Standby until you are given an order…that's it-"
"What did you say?" snarled Hara as she stepped forwards, "You won't allow it?" she wrung her hands, "Sorry, but, I don't follow orders anymore. I'm a traitor, remember? And secondly," she put her hands on her hips in a strikingly similar manner to Raeyah, "Meaningless death?" she scoffed, "Rescuing one of your nakama who has been kidnapped by an enemy is meaningless? Your ways never change do they?! You-!" There was the sound of metal being drawn, followed by a blur as first Byakuya went to put his blade against her throat, only to have Grimmjow catch in his hand with a glare.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," said Raeyah, coming forwards, "What's with all this arguing all of a sudden?" she stepped forwards and knocked Byakuya's blade towards the floor with one hand; Grimmjow stayed in front of Hara who looked ready to tear the cold captain to shreds.
"Who are you?" asked Byakuya, lifting his zanpakuto. Raeyah smiled and saluted him.
"I'm-"
"Raeyah Erantine, Captain of Squad 14…North American Seritei" interrupted Yamamoto. Raeyah turned around.
"Ah you remember me? It's been a while, hasn't it? Last time we met…" she gulped at his stern expression, "Eheheh, this isn't the time for chit-chat, huh?" she rubbed the back of her head.
"Why are you here?" boomed the old man.
"It should be obvious," she replied, all humor gone from her voice, "Your problem quickly becomes ours when left unchecked."
Ichigo stared blankly at the woman, not understanding what in the world she was talking about. "But I'm not here to point fingers," continued Raeyah, "Nor am I to give an explanation; part of my mission is to deliver this," she held up a disc, "And for me and my companions," she gestured to Cyan and Raven, "to aid you in whatever way you see fit."
Yamamoto nodded his head,
"Understood; If you will, please follow Captain Zaraki and Captain Kuchiki through the gate," Raeyah nodded at Cyan and Raven, before stepping forwards. "Ayumi Hara; if you attempt anything, I will put you and your arrancar under arrest-"
"Actually," said Raeyah suddenly, turning around and walking up to them, "Instead," from out of nowhere she whipped out a pair of handcuffs which went around Hara's wrists in a flash, "How about I put them under my custody?"
"Wha-!?" Before Grimmjow could even react, he was cuffed as well. Raeyah winked at them before she turned around.
"Now they cannot cause trouble, and you can interrogate them at your leisure."
"Very well," replied Yamamoto, before the screen went fuzzy and turned off.
Hara was trying to break the handcuffs; she pulled at them, and even bit at them, but they wouldn't come off. Grimmjow stared at them and then glared daggers at Raeyah.
"What did you just do, woman?!" he demanded. Hara looked up with the chain between her teeth, the same question blazing in her silver eyes.
Raeyah let out a nervous laugh, "I'm glad those cuffs are made of reishi steel…otherwise I might be dead…" she leaned forwards to grab hold of the chain, "Put a little bit a' trust in me, I'm going to help ya guys out," she whispered in a voice quiet enough that only they could hear. "But play along, alright?"
Raeyah tugged at the chain, turning around to face the two waiting captains, "Alright, let's get moving." The group walked into the gateway, Rukia and the others going first. Hara, Grimmjow, Raeyah, Raven, and Cyan were the last.
Ichigo didn't look at them, his head was bowed and his fists clenched as he felt the weight of everything come crashing down on him. Hara's expression softened slightly.
"Ichigo…" she muttered. "I promise I'll get the hell outta there and help you out." He looked up at her, and she grinned, "Just trust us, ne?" A second later the gate closed and Ichigo was gone. Hara turned to Grimmjow who nodded at her; Hara looked towards the light of the other end of the gate, hang in there Orihime, we'll come and save you soon!
END
"End?! What do you mean END?!" That's why you're thinking, right? *grins* Now you know why I was laughing so evilly... XD
Don't worry, I'm still going to keep the story going. I just was going to make the next half into a sequel so the chapter list doesn't have to be so humongous... . It also makes it easier for me to keep track of chapters as well ^^
Ok, that being said, the sequel fic will be out soon (I promise!) It's title: Truth
Alright, well that's it!
Don't forget to rate!
