Cathy's POV I sighed as I saw the "Welcome to Ipswich" sign. It was the first time I had been here in a little over nine years. To say I didn't miss it was an understatement. I got dragged back into this God forsaken town for Reid's wedding. Yes, Reid Garwin of all people was finally getting married. Not just on any day either, on Caleb's birthday. Sure, I knew it was to take the shine out of Caleb's day, but it was also the ten year anniversary of Chase's 'death'. If I were honest with myself, I'd accept the fact he died that night. If Chase was alive he would have found me by now. In the back of my mind though, I had hope. Hope that he was still alive. "Are you okay?" Natalie asked me. "No, I'm honestly not." I said not bothering to look up at her. I was too busy playing with the necklace that his ring was on. "I don't understand why Reid had to have his wedding in this town. All the other brothers had destination weddings." When everything was said and done with Chase, I became extremely close with the Sons of Ipswich. Especially since I was pregnant with The Coven's first daughter. Not that, that pregnancy lasted anyways. It was a mystery to them about why that happened. They thought maybe since Chase held so much power that he had bypassed some rule. It didn't matter though. She was never born. "They like to torture you." Natalie laughed. "You know I'm surprised you never married one of them." My heart broke a little. The brother I was supposed to marry was missing or dead. Natalie knew about Chase, but not the entire story. "Yeah, well wrestling holds my heart." That was true. Wrestling was my life now, but it was also a just huge distraction. It didn't complete me like I thought it would. "We're here." Natalie said as we pulled up to the Garwin Estate. "Wow, these people do have money." "You've seen my house that they bought me as a gift. Of course they have money." The four brothers pitched in to buy my a huge house for my graduation present. I ended up going to Harvard after high school, but still just ended up wrestling. To say John was mad was an understatement. "Yeah but wow." Natalie said as she got out. There was a valet who took the keys from her. "So nice." I just rolled my eyes at her. John and I had money. So, I didn't fully understand why she seemed so awestruck by everything. "Don't embarrass me." I hissed at her as we walked up to the door. "God you're moody today." Natalie snapped. "It's been ten years today since Chase died. This all brings it back up. I'm sorry if I can't fake being okay 24-7." I finally snapped. "I'm sorry." Natalie embraced me. "You didn't have to come you know." She pulled away. "Yes I did. For Reid I did." I sighed. "Let's get this over with." We walked in and saw hundreds of guests. We hadn't made it for the ceremony, which was possibly on purpose. I hated the ceremony parts of weddings. I wouldn't miss the reception for the world though. "Well if it isn't Cat Cena." A loud and clearly drunk Pogue said. "Hey Perry." I gave him a hug. "Isn't it a little early to be drunk?" "Well, Kate left me, so no." He said lifting his glass as if he cheersed with someone. "I'm sorry." I wasn't though. I hated that bitch. "You'll find someone better than her." I eyed Natalie. She knew what I was about to do and glared. "Actually, have you ever met my friend Natalie." I shoved her at him. "Helllloooooo Natalie." Pogue slurred. "Pleasure." She grumbled. "I'm going to go now." I said quickly making an escape. As I walked around the room I saw a lot of familiar faces from high school. Some from college since all four brothers went to Harvard with me. Not that all four of them earned it. Money just bought you whatever you wanted. "Hey Cat." I heard a familiar voice say. Turning around I can't face to face with Caleb. "Well hello birthday boy." I smiled at him. "Long time no see." "It's been only a year." He chuckled. "Yeah, that's a long time at our age now." I sighed. "Where's Sarah?" I honestly didn't care. I thought she was as fake of a bitch as Kate. "Couldn't make it. She had work." He said disappointed. "So, she missed Reid's wedding, and your birthday. Great wife you have there." The sarcasm dripped from me quicker than I could stop it. "Sorry." "No, it's okay. You wouldn't be you without the sarcasm." I nodded at him. "So, how are you truly?" "I know he tried to kill you and all, but I miss Chase." I told Caleb honestly. "How about you? How are you with using your powers?" "It's tough some days, but I'm okay." After the fight with Chase, Caleb got addicted to his powers. The families had to do an intervention, and a magic detox. It was hard on everyone. "Good, I'm glad." I said. I felt a sudden chill run up my spine that caused me to shiver. "Are you alright?" Caleb asked. I went to answer him when, something, or I should say someone, caught my eye at the door. As his blue eyes connected with mine, I felt the world stop around me. "No fucking way." I said barely above a whisper. My words caused Caleb to look where my line of view was at, and he dropped the glass that was in his hand. I looked around the room to find the rest of the brothers staring down the ghost that just walked through the door. They must have felt his presence. As I looked back to the door, I found familiar sparkling blue eyes staring at me. The same sparkling eyes that haunted my dreams. The smirk that played on his lips was the same one he had the day he met me. And suddenly it felt like 2006 all over again.
