A/N: Welp, I sure know how to forget to update! Sorry, but here's the next chapter!

Austin's POV

I can't lie and say I've got a chance of getting out and saving whoever's left of my friends.

But I still have to try.

They took Ally, I will not let them take anyone else.

I continue to squirm in my seat until I hear the squeak of a door opening. I go still.

Maybe…Maybe Ally found a way out, like the first time? She had too…

"Good afternoon Austin," Jesse's voice rings, as he steps in front of me. I drop my head.

"Oh come on, we're buddies! I did tell you my secret." I feel his cold hand under my chin, forcing my face to meet his.

I jerk away from his grasp.

"Oh you mean that you're a mortal just as much as I am?" I scowl. He frowns, his eyes glowing gold.

"I am only HALF mortal, weakling!" He bursts. I laugh in his face.

"Ooh, did I catch a sore subject there?"

"That's it! I'm done waiting for Trent's kill order, I'll just kill you now! I'll suck you dry you disrespectful idiot!" He shouts, leaning forward.

I've pushed him too far. But maybe if I keep pushing I can stall him.

"Anastasia will kill you if you-"

"What will I do, mortal?" Both of us turn to face the door, where the little girl stands, her eyes glowing, hands on her hips.

Jesse backs away from me.

"I wasn't going to kill him until Trent gave the orders, I swear." He stutters out.

If I hadn't known Anastasia, I would've never understood how Jesse could cower at her.

But she bit me the last time we met.

This time I stay quiet. I can't push her.

"Whatever…Well, mortal? You still have something to say?" She barks at me, coming closer, fangs out.

I shake my head.

She smiles. "That's what I thought."

"So, what brings you to our room, Anastasia?" Jesse says slowly, glaring down at me instead of looking her in the eyes.

"I have business here. Seeing as Mr. Moon and his friends killed my council." She says simply, as if that answered the question.

Her eyes turn green again, her fangs retracting.

She turns back to me.

"I've been busy with your friend, um, Dezmond Wade, I think it was?"

My heart rate picks up. Not Dez…no, she couldn't have.

"What did you do to him?" I can't help myself from yelling, struggling yet again against my restraints.

She laughs.

"Well, he certainly won't be able to tell you that,"

"You DID NOT kill my BEST FRIEND!" I shout, tears escaping my eyes.

"Is it true, Anastasia? Did you kill him?" Jesse says, sounding the tiniest bit sad himself, though I'm sure it's just out of missed opportunity.

I struggle harder than ever.

That little girl will pay for causing Ally and Dez's deaths.

"Oh don't worry, I left you the boy for a treat. You've done well in capturing the mortals, and Allyson Dawson."

I fight the urge to correct her.

"Say, you can go have him now, I'll take care of Austin. Then we can share the other girl, um, Trish." She finishes.

Jesse smiles at me, before exiting the room.

"Don't you…have to wait for Trent or whatever?" I falter, my entire body shuddering.

"Trent is my inferior, much like you. I wait for no one." She glowers at me, her fangs extending before my eyes.

"We left Whitechapel…Why couldn't you just leave us alone?" I whisper, my breathing hitching as she leans forward.

"Your friends tore my kingdom apart. I'm solely repairing it. You never challenge someone with my kind of power Austin."

She comes closer, until I can feel her breathing over my shoulder.

I wince.

"Just think of it this way, you'll be joining Allyson soon."

Ally's POV

When I hear the screeching, I grab Ethan's hand, and we go flying for the sound.

That's Austin. I'm too late.

"Austin!" I yell as we approach the room, where it has gone silent. My hand tightens around the dagger still in my possession since Trent's…since he died.

The door opens on its own.

"It has to be Jesse," Ethan whispers.

I push the door slowly, and step in.

My jaw drops when I see Austin, his head lulling back, two neat holes in his neck.

"No."

I feel my fangs extend, as my eyes meet with Anastasia's.

"Oh Allyson, I see you've been released from the Cubile-" And suddenly I find myself in her face, the blade against her neck.

"You don't have the guts." She taunts me. I see Ethan out of the corner of my eye, beginning to untie Austin from his restraints.

He's nearly gone.

"You should've seen what happened to Trent." My voice is cold, as I swipe my arm back, and stab into her heart, just before she can say more.

"Ally…" Ethan whispers. I frown, banging my head against the wall where she had been standing.

"Austin," The tears start falling, and before I know it I'm kneeling beside him on the ground.

He can barely access the fact that I'm here I know, but I don't care.

"Please, don't leave me. I came back for you." I whisper.

He blinks.

"Planets align. Suddenly, I'm alive.

Eyes full of stars. Guide me to where you are.

Pinch me if I'm asleep. Cause this feels like it's a dream." I begin to sing, the words just falling into place as I look into his blank stare. "I love you."

"We're like two in a million,

Can't even begin to find.

Where I found you.

What are the chances?

That there'll be this magic when we touch." I pause, taking his hand in mine.

"We've got something special.

On another level.

Like it's just me and you in the room.

Because something so brilliant,

It's meant for just two in a million.

Two in a million."

I lean forward, closing my eyes.

I love you. I won't lose you. Not now.

I open my eyes, and pick up his limp arm. A tear falls from his eye.

"Al…" He whimpers.

I bite.

"Please forgive me."

A/N: I couldn't write a moment for Auslly without a song…Anyone else wonder why Anastasia didn't fight back against Ally? I guess we'll find out.

In other news, AUSTIN IS OFFICIALLY A FLEGDLING!
