Daikai tightens belt of his green Gi, he looks out towards the ocean scanning the midday sky. He spots an Air Car. He trails it with his eyes til it lands on the same island that he is on. Akiko, Nami, and Tora get out of the car.
"Hey you guys" Daikai greeted them, they all waved back. "Ready for the special training?" he asked Nami.
"Uh, What's so special about it?" she asked, straightening out her new orange Gi. Akiko and Tora stands under a tree for some shade.
"Do you know what a Saiyan is?" Daikai asked. Nami shakes her head. "A Saiyan is Race of warriors that were.. Eliminated long ago. Two of them have survived. Or, what we know."
"Okay… what does this have to do with training?"
"Saiyans had the ability to transform into what call a Super Saiyan." Daikai smiles, "You can do this as well."
"Wha-What?" Nami blurted out confused, "I am not an Alien!"
"I do not know what your heritage is. Trunks, He's a Saiyan as well. He believes you have some Saiyan genetics in you."
Nami doesn't say a thing, she's completely shocked at what's been revealed. She stumbles back to sit on the grass, not sure what to think or say. Daikai scratches his head.
"One of your parents could have been a descendant of Son Goku, or the father of Trunks, Vegeta." he explained extending a hand to Nami.
"Son Goku? Like Son Gohan?" Tora butted in.
"Yes, Son Gohan is the son of Goku. With Nami being from a different timeline, it's quite possible that she's related to one of them, or both." Daikai explained as Nami took his hand. He helps her up on both feet.
"...is that what happened?" She asked, "When you got injured.. I transformed?"
"Yes! I am here to train you to access that power." Daikai responded "Up for a spar?"
Nami nods, The two gets into their own respective fighting stance. Nami takes the low stance of the Turtle school, focusing on defending rather than being full offensive. Daikai takes the opposite.
"I won't go easy on you." Daikai stated, "I want you to try to pull that power. Got it?" Nami nods.
"I am Ready," She states. Before she could react Daikai is directly behind her delivering a kick to her back sending her stumbling forward. Before she could even stop he appears infront of her delivering another blow to the ground.
"I…. couldn't see him" Akiko muttered to her brother with his jaw hanging open.
Nami grunts as she gets up, she tries to throw a punch, however before she knew she was on the ground again. Daikai is simply too fast for her. She quickly jumps on her feet, taking back her guard. Daikai appears behind her, however she is ready. She goes for a back hand. It was an after image. She knows that he's toying with her.
"I'm not your punching bag!" she yells looking around, she quickly locks onto him.
"You're not giving your best." he replies before appearing in front of her once again connecting another kick to her. "What would you do if another person came and he's stronger than the Namekian?" he asked as she falls to the ground. "You're not sparing for some belt. You're fighting to protect those around you."
Nami grits her teeth, and quickly scrambles away from him. She cups her hands, "Ka-Me" she lets out, a ball of ki forms between her hands, "HA!" she shouts releasing a blast towards him.
"KAIO-KEN!" he shouts, taking on the full blast of Nami's Kamehameha, showing almost no damage. The red aura around him quickly fades.
Nami glares at him, everything she has is useless against him. She's a lot weaker than him, he's right, she doesn't have the power to defend any one from another powerful enemy. She held him back during the fight. She bites her lip in anger, drawing some blood.
"Keep focused!" Daikai shouted charging at her fall speed going for a kick, she quickly grabs his leg. Grunting as she spins him around into a throw.
She screams as a blinding golden aura engulfs her as she transforms into a Super Saiyan. Daikai grins at her. Akiko and Tora still have their jaws on the floor. Before Daikai can say anything, Nami shoves her knee into his stomach sending back into a small wall of rock.
He smirks, "Finally. We can get on with the real training. I concede." he says getting back on his feet. "Tell me, what do you feel?"
Nami glares at him with her now teal eyes. "I want to keep fighting." She states still holding a stance. She is shaking from the excitement of fighting, and the power she now has access too.
"Ah I see. Trunks was right then." He said with a grin "We're done fighting for the day. The first thing is to get you used to the Super Saiyan State. I want you to be able to access the power without having to to go into it."
Nami relaxes her stance a bit, the shaking still apparent. The aura around her dies down, but her she's still in her transformed state.
"Great, You have some control" Daikai said with a grin, "You won't burn up much stamina keeping it in control. Unlike Kaio-Ken, you should be able to keep this up longer"
Nami looks at her hands, and runs her hand through her hair. "What happens if I were to go into Kaio-Ken right now?" she asked, pulling a strand out watching it turn red from yellow.
"Uhh. You might die. Do you even know Kaio-Ken?" He ask, with her shaking her head. "I could teach you. But… Seriously. Kaio-ken can kill you. Anything beyond times 3 is pushing it."
"What will happen?"
"Your ki will burn your body from the inside out," he explained picking a leaf from a tree, "Other Words you will turn into ash." he states as he puts his ki into the leaf causing it to burn.
Almost instantly Nami's transform back to her base state, falling on her knees, Completely out of energy. She takes a deep breathe, "Everything hurts" she exclaimed.
"Figured, as you don't train as much, correct?"
"You did hit her pretty hard" Akiko stepped in to help Nami up.
"That too.." Daikai mutters a bit. "It will get better over time. Let's end today's training."
Later that night Nami stares at the roof of Akiko's room. Akiko is fast asleep. 'I am a saiyan…. ' she thinks to herself before closing her eyes to sleep.
