First of all I want to clarify: I never intended on making a poll. I wanted to see the first name of a character that popped up on top of your heads. This update was intended to be up asap, so a poll would take too long. A handful of you people seemed to not mind who the new character was, so I guess that's fine.

I took every name into consideration, contemplated pros and cons, and this is my result. I'm sure you'll be pleased.

However, regarding reviews such as the anonymous guest named "lu" – I take as much time as I deem necessary. This is free entertainment, don't complain. Now, on with the show!

To Hunt Down a Hylian

Chapter 6

Daughter of the Sword

A chuckle echoed within the underground ruins and its origin was Mau – the mysterious old man.

He clasped his hands together in amusement, feigning an innocent smile and a false sense of comfort and security. Just like before, his true self remained masked behind a façade as he went on, swaying the woman to do his bidding.

His sunken-in steely-grey eyes were lit with mirth and he nodded at a womanly figure standing a few feet in front of him. A sickly grey-toned hand waved over towards the crystal sphere and the figure verily stepped over, cobalt-shaded orbs peering peculiarly.

"Who is this?" The woman's voice was firm, yet gentle, and youthful and womanly despite the monotone.

"The one I talked about, girl," Mau replied. "Don't let his appearance fool you: he's crafty, and seldom let's his guard down. Through trickery, he's wrapped this entire land around his finger – I and few others know of his true nature…"

"He looks harmless," she said, further studying the individual apathetically.

Mau's voice rose. "Don't let that fool you! He's a wolf in sheep's clothing… He's already killed countless, including my king…"

Cobalt eyes shifted over the old man. "Your king?"

A nod. "Yes… But, that's a tale for another time. My point is, girl, that despite him looking "harmless", he's quite the opposite. If you don't take him seriously, he'll be your end…"

The woman shifted and looked back at the sphere: various images of a green-garbed, blonde young man appeared and disappeared in a swirl of green mists and she narrowed her eyes. There was something going on – something she couldn't put her finger on – but it was strange to say the least.

"…So how come you haven't done anything yourself? If you had the power to bring me here-"

"I'm not adept at fighting, girl. I wield magic, but I'm old and fragile. I wouldn't be able to keep up with him. This is all I can do for our land…"

"…And by killing this man, you'll let me return home?"

"Exactly," he paused to study the young woman. "Don't fret – you being summoned here won't affect your own time, or any other for that matter: you'll be back at the exact moment you were first brought here."

The woman slowly nodded. "Then it all seems to be in order. Where can I find this man?"

Mau chuckled. "That's difficult to say. However, nearly everyone knows his name: ask for the one called Link and you should eventually find him. Be swift, and your sword even swifter… Good luck."

Fresh air wafted across stoic pale features and the woman sighed contently. Whereas the underground cavern had been foul and nearly unbearable, the scent of fresh, healthy woodland was a welcome scent. With said woods behind her, cobalt orbs gawked at the plains that stretched on as far as the eyes could see. At the horizon she saw mountains, and even more woodlands began anew across the plains.

It was peaceful and appealing. How could this be harbouring any evil?

Her long cape fluttered with the winds' breeze and her long tresses waved, forcing her to tuch locks behind her ear. She crossed her arms over her chest in contemplation.

´Wolf in sheep's clothing huh? That may be the case, but what I found suspicious was not the man in green…I don't know what your game is, but I'll drag it all out into the light – then we'll see if your claims are true…´

With the wind with her, she began to descend the grassy hill, determined to not only find out the truth, but to bring justice upon whoever that was in need of it in this world. Her mind reeled but her nerves were steadfast as she began her new journey in an unknown world – an unknown world she would deliver justice.

/ "What do you mean ´you've summoned others´?"

Mau knitted his eyebrows. "It's just as I said. You're not the only one who I've recruited to get rid of this… gnat."

Her apathetic stare turned sour. "So of what purpose would you need me for?"

"You can't be too careful, you know. It's been hours now – most of them could be dead already."

"And if they're not?"

"Good for them! They'll be able to get home safely then! They are all oddly garbed, I'll tell you that much." He offered a smile. "If you're fast enough, you might find them and lend them your aid. We wouldn't want any unnecessary deaths now would we?"

The woman's gaze wavered slightly and she nodded. She had seen enough death – her world or otherwise, she wouldn't let more blood be spilt. "I understand. I best be on my way then."

Mau nodded. "Indeed. I shall pray for you and the others, girl."

The woman turned. "I have a name you know. I would appreciate if you ceased with calling me girl."

"And what, pray tell, is your name then?" Mau chuckled.

The woman gave him a passive stare. "My name is Lucina."

I know, some of you are probably dissapointed. But seeing how you all enjoyed the others so far...

Anywho, if you're still, for some reason, upset that your favourite heroine didn't make, don't fret!

Perhaps another time, in another Link x Harem story. Until next time!
