Chapter 3

Hello, all my lovely readers. I'm so sorry this took so long to continue, but I had major writers block and a really hectic few years. Anywhos, I must thank BartWLewis, Writingsterner, guest, TheCookiemonstress, and Lantern92, for your support and help with what you want to see happen in this story. Oh and side note to TheCookiemonstress to answer your request of babies I'm not really good at writing teenage pregnancy stories so how about they are stuck babysitting or maybe a class that requires them to take home a fake baby for a week or something. What you guys think? Let me know. Now, I will shut-up, so you guys can read the long awaited chapter. :D

Sarah woke up to the annoying rooster Rolf had that somehow was loud enough to reach their vicinity. She groaned and grabbed her pillow shoving it over her ears. She tried closing her eyes when they sprang open remembering yesterday. A wide smile grew on her face as she hopped out of bed and jumped around the room singing marry tunes in her head.

I must get ready! she thought, then looked at the clock reading 7 o'clock. She groaned yet again knowing it would be another seven hours till she would see Eddy. She flopped back on her bed thinking of a way to kill time.

On the other side of the cul-de-sac Eddy was sprawled out on his vintage bed not realizing the time passing by till he heard pounding at his door. He groaned and looked down at the clock to see it read 1 o'clock pm. He rubbed his tired eyes as he heard more pounding on his door.

"I'm coming!" he yelled clearly annoyed at the person who woke him from his slumber.

He swung the door open to meet Ed and Double D. "you guys know its break right?" Eddy said annoyed.

Double D rolled his eyes and stated "Yes Eddy, we know, but it is also 1pm and that gives you more than enough time to sleep. Also you were the one who said we should get some Jaw breakers at the candy store today."

Eddy perked up at hearing the word jaw breaker, since it seemed like none of the cul-de-sac kids ever out grew the mouthwatering taste they obtained from them.

"Fine, give me five," he said as he shut the door on his friends and started to ransack his clothes on the ground for something clean to wear. He pulled on a yellow-blue t-shirt and some black jeans, with his signature chain wallet on the side. Then went over to his mirror to fix his now brownish blue spiky hair. He shrugged pleased with his appearance, sprayed on some Axe colane and headed out the door. His friends smiled at him and they headed off to the Candy shop.

Once they got there they all browsed around for candy to get besides just a jaw breaker. They all had ten dollars each that they split from their thirty dollar income yesterday. Eddy browsed over the candy when he came upon a chocolate rose. That's when he remembered he had a date with Sarah at three.

"Shit," he mumbled to himself as he looked down at the watch that said 1:40.

He grabbed the Chocolate rose and two jaw breakers knowing he now had to save some of his money for food later on.

When he came up to the counter he saw Double D had just purchased his candy and was now waiting on his two friends.

As the store clerk rang up his stuff Double D asked "Eddy why are you buying a chocolate rose?"

"What, I was craving chocolate and its cheap," Eddy said still not sure himself why he decided to get a chocolate rose for Sarah. He then thought Flowers and chocolates. Two things girls love, right? Well now she has both and it only cost a buck he said figuring out a sound reason why he would even attempt to bring some girl, let alone his childhood enemy a chocolate rose.

Double D looked at him questionly not fully buying Eddy's response, but he didn't have too much time to dwell on it since Ed had just paid for his candy dragging him and Eddy out of the store.

"Luckily we paid for the stuff already since you dragged us out," Double D said trying to unwrinkle his shirt Ed just wrinkled.

Eddy said "Yeah, yeah, now let's get going I have stuff to do." He then heard his cell phone go off in his pocket. He whipped it out and read the text from the unknown number.

"Hey, can you pick me up by the park today I have to get something nearby there. Oh, btw this is Sarah."

Eddy replied back "Sure, makes it easier on me anyway." Eddy then saved her number in the phone as Cute Red Head so Double D and especially Ed wouldn't know who he was texting. He didn't want to have Ed try and kill him for taking his baby sister on a date when he wasn't even sure himself what he and Sarah were.

He heard a bing go off from his phone.

Sarah- "Thanks. Trust me you won't regret it."

He grinned and replied back "good ;)"

He then closed his phone shoving it back in his pocket to look up seeing Double D examining him.

"Who is that," Double D inquired.

"Just a girl," Eddy said trying to be nonchalant about it.

Double D squinted his eyes and asked "What girl?" trying to put the pieces together on who he could be talking about.

"Just a girl from school. Damn, what's with the fifth degree? Why do you keep bugging me on dumb things" Eddy said as he started to walk ahead of his friends.

When they reached the Cul-De-Sac Eddy said "Hey I'm going to use the van, I have an errand to run."

"Does this errand have to deal with the girl you've been texting," Double D asked raising one eyebrow.

"Damn, Sock Head why do you care so much," Eddy said as he grabbed the keys from Double D that was now dangling in his hand from just turning off the van. He then pushed his friends out of the van and said "I got to go now. I'll see you guys probably tonight," and before Double D could object Eddy sped off.

Double D glared at the speeding off van and turned to Ed who was sucking on his Jaw Breaker not caring what was going on. Double D pulled down on his hat in frustration at not knowing what was going on with Eddy and finally said "Come on Ed lets go to your house and you can watch some monster Movies while I read."

"Yay, Monster movies," Ed said after swallowing the rest of his Jaw breaker whole.

Double D starred in wonder still not sure how his friend could just swallow a whole Jaw Breaker and not suffer any damage to his body or internal organs.

Meanwhile, Eddy arrived at the park and notice he was actually early. He just shrugged and grabbed the chocolate rose and jaw breaker from the back seat and held onto it. He groaned after a few minutes of idly waiting, but that's when he saw her. He skimmed his eyes over the nice view of her legs till he reached her flowing thigh high pink and black poka dot dress. He noticed at how it hugged her developing curves. Eddy had to subside the growth below his lower abdomen just from the look of her. She smiled when she saw the van and fast walked over to it. She opened the van's passenger door and hopped onto the seat.

"Hi," She said biting her pink lip glossed lip in nervousness.

Eddy shook off his perverted thoughts that were now forming in his head and said as cool as he could "hi."

She smiled, knowing Eddy was totally checking her out when she saw the candy in his hand. She tilted her head questiongly.

Eddy looked down to see what was the matter when he mentally slapped himself thinking Dumbass you forgot to give her the candy, He then quickly gave her the chocolate rose and set the giant jaw breaker on her lap. "These are for you," he tried saying smoothly.

A blush covered her face as she steered down at the items he got her. She couldn't believe he got her a gift for their date. A big smiled formed on her face and she looked up at Eddy saying "Thanks."

"Yeah no problem half-pint," Eddy said turning his face forward to hide his blush. He then started up his car driving away.

It was an awkward silence for a few minutes when Sarah tried to make meaningful conversation by saying "So how was your day?"

"Ya know slept in, went to the candy store with Double D and Ed. Gotta love breaks," Eddy said while taking a glimpse every so often at Sarah. "What about you?"

"Oh, you know, just got up went shopping with Johnny, now with you," Sarah said trying to stay calm. I mean come on she's in a van with Eddy. Her brothers best friend and not really secret love anymore.

"So you had to go shopping to find a new smoking outfit to try and charm me," Eddy said smirking.

"Well, Yeah," Sarah said honestly, then internally slapped herself. Why was she being so honest? That's not her normal fiery spunk. She should have retorted back, but she didn't. She sneaked a peak at Eddy wondering if she was to honest, but she just found him to be looking at the road slightly bewildered.

There was another pause of awkward silence and Sarah was now nibbling away at her chocolate rose feeling like the biggest idiot in history.

Although the tension was broke when Eddy grinned and said "I'm glad you did. You look amazing. Well for a half-pint." He added the last stamen with a snicker, which got him a hard punch to his arm. "Aw, there's my firecracker. Did you have to punch so hard though, damn?"

Sarah wasn't sure if she would last during this date. First he made her feel beautiful, then he adds a rude but meant to be funny comment, and lastly he calls her his firecracker. Man was she all types of confused. None the less though she still felt incredibly happy to be with the guy of her dreams right now, and her heart was proof of that as it was beating a mile a minute.

After that incident it shockingly turned into a relaxing silence as Sarah nomed away at her chocolate rose, while Eddy focused on the traffic. Once they pulled up to the McDonalds parking lot, Eddy parked the van and Sarah and he got out.

They walked inside to notice it was quite busy. As they stood in line Sarah looked around to see if she could notice anyone from her school or that she knew but she didn't recognize anyone. She didn't know if she should breathe a sigh of relief or feel a little disappointed. I mean she knew her and Eddy were something, but what she didn't know yet. She hoped her and Eddy would turn into a couple, but she knew that wasn't for certain.

When they got up to the counter Eddy asked "What would you like Sarah?"

Sarah was a little confused on why Eddy was asking her, but answered with "I'm not sure. I was thinking a double cheeseburger. Why?"

Eddy didn't answer her, instead he turned to the cashier and said "I'll take two double cheeseburgers, a large fries and drink."

The cashier smiled, punched in the order and said "That will be $8.25."

Eddy handed the cashier the last bit of his money, which the cashier took then handed him a receipt paper with the number 80 on it."

Eddy nodded at the Cashier in thanks and pulled Sarah over to the pick-up counter. Sarah blinked in disbelief as Eddy dragged her away. She couldn't believe he just paid for her meal. Thee stingy Eddy paid for her meal.

"Am I still on a date with the same Eddy I've know my whole life," Sarah asked in disbelief.

"Hey, I may be stingy, but I'm not even that sleazy to make a hot girl pay for her own meal."

Sarah blushed at being called hot, but asked "I thought you told me last night you wouldn't be paying for me?"

"Well I change my mind. Gosh you and Double D can never believe when I do something nice," Eddy said rolling his eyes.

Sarah stood on her tippy toes and gave him a quick peck on his lips, saying "thank you."

Her and Eddy were both turning pink as Eddy looked around to see if anyone saw. He wasn't sure why he was being so self-conscious if someone saw them kiss. He's kissed his share of girls in public before, but why was it when she gave such an innocent kiss did his heart start to pound out of his chest, as he worried about who saw. Was it because he wasn't sure what they were or something much more deep.

"Yeah, no problem," Eddy said quickly while rubbing the back of his neck.

Sarah just bit her lip shocked that she, herself, just kissed Eddy, none the less in public. If she thought her heart was racing fast in the car, it's definitely going even faster now.

From that point on they didn't say anything to each other until they got their food and decided on a booth seat, sitting across from each other. Sarah grabbed her burger, and started to peel off the wrapper as Eddy left to get the drink. She noticed he only got one drink. She didn't know if that meant they were going to share it or if she was just drinkless. She hoped they could share it, but was unsure with Eddy, well, being Eddy. She jumped out of her thoughts when she noticed Eddy had sat down and put the drink and fries in the middle of them. She eyed the drink feeling somewhat thirsty now, when she heard a chuckle.

She looked up at Eddy and he pushed the drink towards her. "Were sharing it. I'm still cheap so one drink will do, besides free refills."

Sarah smiled at Eddy's logic and took up the drink.

Eddy started to eat his burger as did Sarah once done quenching her thirst. Sarah found it enjoyable even if they didn't say much she was still happy with how smoothly the date was going so far, unfortunately that didn't last long because her and Eddy noticed the McDonalds door swing open only to find…

Well, who comes through the door is it Nass, Kevin, Double D, the Kanker sisters, or maybe someone else. Really the choices are abundant so this story letting you, the reader, decide what happens in the next chapter, tell me what you want to see happen! Not only who comes through the door, but also what happens with that person, where the date goes from here, maybe even some smut you would like to see?
