The Dark Phantom:: Growing Pains:: Chapter 10
29th Nov.
Danny is lounging on his bed, facing the dark window. Both notebooks open on the bed in front of him. Blue dives through the notebook he's writing on. Then it pops onto his notebook, rapidly flashing and making a calamity of different noises: fear, concern.
"Blue?"
It slows its flashing and noise.
"Someone or something hurt?"
Blue bounces, flashing, trilling. It darts through Danny and out the wall. A flash of white light happens before Danny dives through the wall after.

The wisp is speeding through the forest, going through all obstacles. The ghost-child almost loses the wisp as he dodges around trees and bushes. They bolt into a clearing.
A child, not much older than Danny, is curled in a tight ball on the ground. A fluffy brown tail speckled with blood draped over the child's side. A pair of brown ears lay flat against their head, nearly blending into their brown hair.
Blue flashes in blacks, grays, and reds making a high- and low-pitched thrum: fear.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!"
Danny whips around. A woman is standing there.
"I. Asked. WHAT IS HAPPENING!"
He blinks and cocks his head. "Blue says, dying."
"ITS HURT!"
She rushes to the other child's side and brings up their tail. There's a wound under it—the child whimpers.
"GET THE HEALER!"
"Who?" Blue spins around his head and then darts off into the woods. He follows.
The woman glances around and lets out a heavy sigh.

They abruptly stop in another clearing. It has a small hut and an untidy garden.
"Why, hello there." An elderly lady greets him from around a plant.
"Blue says dying. Mam says get healer."
"Oh no! Lead the way!"
"Healer?"
"Yes! Now hurry!"

The three enter the area where the woman and the hurt child are. There are more people. The Healer goes immediately over to the hurt child and starts talking to the first woman in hushed tones.
There are five other adults now in the clearing. Two of them are unnaturally beautiful with pale skin like the first, a man and a woman. The others, two men and a woman, had more animal-like features: ears, tails, eyes, and claws.
Another child comes out of the woods and walks over to Danny, his skin tan.
"Wha're you?"
The animal-like woman snaps at the kid. "Michael, apologize. That was a rude question you should not be asking others!"
"Sorry." The other boy sheepishly says.
Danny shrugs. "I no know."
"How not?"
Danny shrugs again.
Michael tilts his head and blinks at him. Then puffs out his chest. "I wolf!"
"Look human?"
Michael nods, "Werewolf."
Danny nods, thinking for a moment. "Werefish, wereghost."
"Both?"
"Both." Danny gives another nod.
"How?"
"Fish in water." He hesitates. "Ghost when cold."
"Cold now?"
Danny nods. "Cold now."
"Want warmed?"
"Okay cold."
Michael nods.
The Healer walks over to them. "Thank you. I would not have been on time if it was not for you."
Danny shakes his head. "Not me."
Whispers burst out from the others. The first woman asks, "If it wasn't you, who was it?"
Danny points over his shoulder at the wisp. "Blue."
"There is nothing there!" One of the men states.
"That is not quite accurate, Jacob. This little one is a phantom. This Blue is likely a spirit, wisp, or sprite."
Michael nods and states, "Werephantom."
Danny nods. The wisp crashes into the man's face, who declares Blue wasn't there. Danny bursts out laughing. Blue darts into the woods, and Danny follows seconds after.
"That was interesting."
"Yes. We will be meeting him again, I am sure."

it is a very good story so far. on options I must go with option numeral three. Very good writing style.
