I only wish I could remember how to run. At this moment, I hardly can remember how to breath. The air that came in and out of my mouth was rough and quick. My heart pounded against my chest as the adrenaline pulsed through my veins. I could see my attacker's teeth shine in the moonlight as he a smirk plastered his sick face. Next, I saw his arm raise, and the gun pointed at my chest.

The crosshairs aimed at my heart.

Death was something I had never really thought about before, but now the thought haunting me as I looked it in the eye. Everything was happening so fast. I barely remember him chasing after me before now.

Finally, I took a deep breath and sighed before I bowed my head down. Getting my hopes up would only make this harder on me. If I ran away, screamed, and prayed for someone to save me, he would only kill me faster. I had to face the facts, there were no heroes in my sad ending.

Next I heard a loud shot coming toward me.

Just as I bowed my head, I heard a small chuckle as I was wrapped into something big and warm. I looked down to see a black gown covered in red clouds. Then I realized the hand holding me up had black fingernails, so I assumed some girl had saved me, until I heard that stern, smooth voice.

"I knew you were ignorant, but I didn't know you would be foolish enough to kill the very thing we need. You better watch your next move very closely, Sai." The voice said.

I glanced up and gasped. I realized the woman was indeed a man who was almost as beautiful as Sasuke, with long dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. He had the same pale skin and red eyes with small creases under them. When he looked at me, I felt like if looks could kill, I just died. The man was void of all emotions. Just as he was about to say something else, a knife came flying towards us that he quickly dodged without any effort. I smiled when I saw my savior was Sasuke. All thoughts and fear of death left my anxious mind.

"Hey Teme! Took you long enough! Help me out here!" I said. My smile dropped when I saw the pure hatred on Sasuke's face. It put the fear of God into my heart. I have never seen him so cold before. It made me want to throw my arms around him and kiss that look off of his face... wait what did I just say? Whatever. I just don't like to see him like this.

"Itachi. You must really be tired of your guilt-filled life to show your sorry face. Now let the Dobe go, so I can kill you fairly." Sasuke said without even looking towards me. Itachi? Isn't that the name of his brother? But I thought they all died years ago? Come to think of it, it is kind of scary how much they look alike.

Itachi smirked in a way that I have seen Sasuke before in the past. It is evil and cruel. I really don't like where this is coming. I need to do something and now!

"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" I screamed as 15 clones surrounded us with only 1 job: get me out of his fuckers arms, now! They yelled a battle cry running towards us. Just as soon as they appeared, they were a cloud of dust. My eyes widen in disbelief. Without even moving, this guy was able to defeat all the clones before they even touched him. What kind of power is this?

Next, I felt something hard hit the back of my head. I fought to keep my eyes open, but then I fell into a deep sleep moments later.

Sasuke's POV

I can't believe this bastard would show up again after all these years. He hasn't changed or aged a bit. Looking at him made me sick. My brother doesn't deserve to breathe the same oxygen as me. Here and now I will take him out. I will get my revenge. I will show him my true strength.

I lunged towards him when he knocked Naruto out. I stopped before colliding into him and hurting the blonde even more. What did he want with Naruto anyway? He had nothing to do with the massacre. If Naruto is a Jounin and couldn't put a scratch this guy, I have no idea what to do if I want to kill him. Itachi placed Naruto down on the ground, then turned towards the other guy that I saw Naruto chase earlier.

"If you want to be useful, take him back to Corporate. I will catch up with you there to do the extraction." My brother said. I took off as fast as I could to get Naruto. There was no way this was happening on my watch. Itachi smirked and ran towards me as well, throwing a punch out in front of him. I caught his hand in mine before throwing my body around to kick him. He easily evaded the attack, and then I noticed a 3rd common appear in his red eyes. I then activated my eyes as to try to predict each move he wanted to make. If I wanted to win, I need to play on the defense and wait for an opening in his offense.

I watched from the corner of my eye as the other guy picked up Naruto to throw him over his shoulder. I tried to jump over Itachi to get to him, but he used that opportunity to grab my ankle and throw me into the dirt. So much for staying on defense. When I looked up from the ground, Naruto was being carried away. Damn it! I bit my lip until it bled.

"When will you ever learn, foolish little brother? Haven't I told you once before that if you wanted to defeat me, you have to find hatred. You can't allow someone to hold you back. That is why you are still too weak to kill me. Maybe leaving you alive was a mistake after all." Itachi said with a cool expression. It fired up something inside my core, as I ran towards him with all the charka I could pour into my feet. I used speed the run around him before attacking him from behind. He jumped behind me before kicking me in the back and sending me flying into the wall. I needed to figure out a weak spot and quick!

I got up from the ground and used the hand signs that I knew he would remember. "Fire Ball Jutsu!" I yelled before spraying out a large ball of fire. He would at least be impressed with that. After a few minutes, the size steadily decreased and my mouth continued to spray smoke. I looked around the area and didn't see him. Next, I felt something grab my foot as I was pulled into the ground. The same move Kakashi has used on me before.

"Do you know why I killed all of those people you 'loved' so dearly?" My brother said. I shook my head, struggling to get out of the ground. "I did it because, they were the ones who were evil. They were all power hungry, and I became that way too over time. It is a family addiction that never goes away. One day, you will be eaten up with hatred and hunger that cannot be satisfied. One day, nothing will be enough."

I tried even harder to get free, but to no avail. Itachi sighed in disappointment before activating another part of the Sharingan. Suddenly, I felt suffocated. I knew immediately that I was trapped inside of one of Itachi's mind games. The ones that manipulate and break your spirit. He appeared in 5 different places around me with Naruto in his arms. "Sasuke, welcome to Hell!" He said as he drove a knife into my hands to hold me in place. Next, he tied up the blonde and ripped apart Naruto's clothes, then said, "Why don't I give you an example of how we killed all those men that you were trying to track?" He said before he put his head down to bite Naruto's neck making him scream out in pain.

Over the next 4 months in his world, it felt like I watched him rape the blonde over and over again. He would stop occasionally to stab me with another knife. I don't understand how watching this hurt so badly. Watching Naruto cry out in pain over and over again was breaking my heart. I had to watch as my chest tightened up and tears threatened to fall. If I tried to close my eyes, Itachi would stab me and torture me even more. It was endless. No rest. No sleep. No end to it at all.

Finally, I woke up, and it was over. Everything on my body hurt. Itachi was looking at me with a grin as I passed out from the pain.
