It was nearly half-an-hour before they entered through the front doors of Upperton University, and they were immediately blocked off when Monìque skidded into them. Kim and Ron shared a knowing look as they helped the fashionista pick up her things, with the blond carefully zipping up her binder to avoid another "accident" from happening. "Hey guys, I heard we're having a new transfer today." After catching sight of the beauty marked brunette standing alongside Ron, her face lit up as she dragged the girl into a warm embrace. "Ritz, how's it hanging girl?" a look of surprise was shared between the heroic duo as they watched her return the embrace. Pulling away, the noirette regarded the twin surprised looks and laughed good-naturedly. "You never told me that you knew my girl, Ritz. We used to go to the same boarding school together before I moved from London." Taking her binder with a smile, she slid it into her open bag and secured the latch before turning to the brunette. "And you never told me you were tight with Ron and Kim. But I thought you weren't coming until Thursday."
Brittanya rolled her eyes at the African-American as she linked arms with her. "As I told Ron and was about to tell Kim, I got admission to transfer early so that I could surprise you guys. And as for you, Ms. Thang, I didn't tell you because I'd rather have the tongue lashing in person." A look of mock anger crossed her companion's face before she started laughing. A smile crept across her face as she continued. "And FYI; totally caught the look earlier. You know there's nothing going on between me and Dean except sibling bonding so CYJG."
Kim and Ron were trailing right behind the twosome in mild disbelief as they continued to speak animatedly to one another. Stopping off at their lockers, they shared a look as they entered their combinations. Kim's computer lit up as Wade appeared on the screen. "Hey Wade, what's the sitch?" a good-natured laugh was his response as he raised his hand in surrender. "There's no mission, Kim. I just heard that Brittanya landed early and just wanted to see if was true." Kim's eyes narrowed suspiciously at the news. How is it that her arrival went viral so fast? The teen seemed to catch the look because he smiled assuredly. "Relax Kim: who do you think got her there on such short notice?" Kim looked ready to scream when Ron and Brittanya appeared at her side.
"Wade, my man, how's it going?" Placing a calming hand on the steaming redhead's shoulder, he draped an arm around his surrogate sibling's shoulder. "Got any early morning butt kicking scheduled for today?" at the tech's shake of the head, his brow shot up. "So, what's with the call?" the inquiry was pointedly ignored as he turned to regard the Assassin at his side. "Hey, glad to see it all worked out." A smile and nod was her only reply as his attempt to talk further was interrupted by the bell. "We can always talk later, Wade." and with that, the screen went blank as Ron closed Kim's locker for her.
The Native American-Latina looked back at the heroine before turning to look at her godbrother. "You think Kim's gonna be okay? She looks Shego-pulled-a-fast-one tweaked." The blond chuckled as he regarded the look on her face and had to admit that it was true. "Yeah, I'm sure she'll be fine." Turning back to her, he glanced down at the paper in her hand. "So, what's your first class?" shrugging, she gave him the schedule to look at. "Let's see: Mondays are Psychology, Journalism and Calculus, Tuesdays are Biology, Wednesday's Chemistry, Thursday's Socio-Economics and Friday's Communications." He took another look over at the sheet of paper before giving it back to her. "Well, at least I'll see you on Mondays for Psych and Fridays for Communications." She smiled as she followed Ron and Kim into a nearby classroom. Her smile was quickly replaced with a look of surprise when she saw who she had for her teacher. "Barkin, sir, you're my prof for Psychology?"
The broad shouldered coach looked up and a smile settled over his features, a rare sight for anyone who knew the ex-Marine. Seeing the smile, the surprise melted away into an easy one of her own as he briefly nodded in consent. He chuckled as he stood up and embraced her warmly. Pulling back, he looked his former student over. "Brizenne, you look so much like your sister, even with those streaks in your hair." An offhanded shrug was her response and he chuckled again. "Yet you act so much like your godbrother." With an affectionate ruffle of her hair, he shooed her away to a seat and the murmurs were immediately forgotten as he looked out at the class. He was about to begin when another teal-eyed brunette walked in. She was wearing a mahogany long sleeve with an intricate diamond pattern that hugged her upper body, a pair of dark blue slim cut jeans and black ballet flats. He smirked as she froze in mid-stride, staring in disbelief at a pair of identical teal eyes looking right back at her. It was as if time decided to slow down and drink a coffee. Blinking, she walked over to her usual seat close to the back and sat down. The moment forgotten, he commenced the lesson. "Alright people, today's lecture is on Aristotle…"
