Bonnie sighed upon reflecting on the day's practice; though she was elated that Brittanya had finally back, seeing her after almost thirteen years still knocked her off-balance. Walking into the lightly populated change room, she felt the vibrations of her Samsung Galaxy S3. Steeling herself for the voice (or voices) of Connie or Lonnie, she answered the phone with mild disgust. "Hello?" there was a moment of silence before there was a reply from the other line. "Bon-Bon, sweetie, it's Mom. Is everything okay, honey?" Blinking in surprise, she waited for her "Mom" to continue talking. Boy howdy, was she not ever going to make that mistake again, no matter how genuine it sounded. "I heard that your sister is back in town. Do you think that you could get her to come for family dinner this evening? I missed her dearly while she was away." Swallowing her previous assumptions, she gave an answer. "I'll see if I can, since she's already staying with Dean and his family." There was a pregnant pause before she heard, "Oh… well in that case, I guess I'll see you when you come home, love you." With that, the dial tone sounded and she hung up the phone.
Shrugging to herself, she placed down her android and changed back into her regular clothes. Making sure that she had her keys, she saddled her bag across her shoulder and made her way to the parking lot. Seeing her sister talking and laughing with a bunch of people around her, she clicked the remote function on her keys. The horn seemed to have the desired effect as everyone began to make their way to their separate vehicles. What she had not planned for was her twin to still be standing alongside her white Mercedes. "Hey Delle, how you been?" asked Brittanya, to which Bonnie answered with a hum as she went to place her things on the back seat. "Aren't you supposed to be at Dean's house?" the Queen's Guard merely rolled her eyes as she smiled. "I'm great, thanks for asking."
The other brunette scoffed lightheartedly as she softly closed the door. "I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear this, but Mom wanted to know if you wanna come over for dinner." Opening the door to the driver's side, she vaguely noted the pensive look on the young woman's face as she slid in and buckled up. Pulling the door closed, she looked into her rearview to reverse and temporarily lost her pigmentation. To her surprise, seated amidst her things was her twin sister. But how the hell did she even get in here; I didn't hear the door open. Shaking the thought from her conscious, she saw her sister's placid facial expression transition into a lighthearted smirk. "I got time to spare before I have to meet up with the 'rents." An easygoing smile effortlessly slid onto her lips as she said, "So sure, I already told Dean that I'd be making a house call. So, let's get going, unless you had other plans."
