Soon after the trunk was placed in front of her feet, Emma asked Neal for his help moving it to the coffee table in the middle of where everyone was sitting and standing. Once Neal started to help Emma move the trunk Lily had walked away from them going towards her husband and hugging him, they then started to kiss each other passionately happy to be back together again. Nathaniel then took Lily's hand and lead her over to a spot in the living room where everyone was introducing her to everyone explaining her relationship with Emma more clearly and in small detail.
After Neal and Emma placed the trunk on the coffee table, everyone glanced occasionally towards her direction as she started to touch the trunk looking it over. Emma saw that it looked ancient and a bit worn out. Emma tried to open it, but it wouldn't open then she noticed it had a lock on it in the shape of the letter 'S', she didn't know if it stood for the 'savior' or her last name.
Emma touched it while looking at it and then it suddenly just unlocked from her touch and swung open by itself, she was surprised for a second which soon faded at the thoughts as to what was in the trunk. Emma then glanced inside the trunk, it contained a sword, two daggers, sword belts, books, maps, papers, and one book that stook out to Emma the most catching her attention straight away.
Emma picked it up out from under other books, this made Lily nudge Nathaniel with a knowing hopeful look. Nathaniel still questioned it that the old Emma was still in there, but he had faith and hope.
Emma got the feeling she knew what it was, she touched the brown leather book binding, Emma then opened it and saw the very first page.
Emma saw glimpses of things she could hardly imagine, different realms, different smiling people, different creatures, different experiences, a different more happy life.
Emma didn't want to let go of the book for the fact the sights she was seeing were too fantastic, but the sight wasn't the only thing...she actually felt it. Emma smiled even more the book started to magically flip the pages quickly and then to Emma's disappointment the book ran out of words and reached blank pages. Emma's smile turned to a slight frown, she felt like there was more to the images that were going through her head but someone didn't finish writing them down in the journal.
Then Emma slowly sat down on the couch and placed the book which was open on the last inked page with blank pages after it on the coffee table.
Nathaniel and Lily then walked over to where Emma was noticing her putting down her journal book, Nathaniel sat down on the coffee table next to where the book was placed and Lily standing next to where he was. Nathaniel looked to Emma waiting for her say something, and she did.
"What happened?"
"The story's not finished" Nathaniel smiled at her distantly thinking of their adventures and what was to come. Emma returned the smile thinking back on what she saw, she knew deep down it felt right.
"Do you remember anything?"
"No, seeing that. It felt right, but it didn't stick" Emma felt sorry for Lily because her sister had looked so hopeful before she answered and now she looked saddened, but then perked up thinking.
"Don't worry you'll eventually return" Emma then got frustrated, thinking if she didn't forget in the first place she could go and easily defeat the darkness and shadows with no problems but it seemed that wouldn't be the case.
"Why and how did I forget?"
Nathaniel had trouble going to try to speak to answer her debating telling her the truth, knowing that it was Emma who gave rid of her memories just so she could find her parents. If he told her that he couldn't tell how she would react, he and the rest of the seekers including Lily do not know exactly how she did it only that she did it and for that purpose.
As he began to speak a screech rung out, as if from a huge animal in immense pain, and the sky started to get very pitch black dark with flowing raging black clouds. All of the Seekers eyes including Lily's shifted looks towards each other knowing fully what was happening.
He was entering town, the darkness was here at storybrooke's doorstep and it wasn't going to stop until The savior made an appearance...and right now they were stuck with Emma Swan who had half the abilities of the savior and would be wiped out in about ten minutes against him.
Nathaniel then had no patience left, he knew if the savior did not return people were going to die. He quickly walked over to Emma and grabbed her arms tightly, he could hear even speak out in protest that he was hurting her but he knew that he wasn't.
Emma was taken aback at Nate's actions, she noticed that he then gazed into her eyes and spoke quickly and firmly.
"You need to fight, you need to remember, you need to return, the darkness is coming light you need to protect the innocent. You have to make the sinners of the dark pay for spreading too much over this realm...over all the realms. The realms need its savior back, please do something!"
Emma absorbed his desperate plea with shinning eyes full of understanding. Nathaniel saw this with his honest and wise eyes letting her go knowing she was going to do something. Emma then looked around the apartment at everyone's worried faces and eyes which were looking at her and the window's.
"I know that your all scared, and it's okay hell even I'm scared but I know that this darkness needs to end because if it doesn't more and more people will die. Nate, Lily, Elizabeth, Alexander we have to go" Emma told them speaking almost like the leader the savior was to them with such pride.
The Seeker's shared relieved expressions towards each other before they all then ran towards the door following Emma who had ran towards it a second before them. Everyone else in the apartment watched them go with hope in their eyes along with fear and concern.
David and Snow then spoke out to everyone left in the apartment that who ever wanted to would go with them and follow the seeker's to help.
Emma, Nathaniel, Lily, Alexander, and Elizabeth all ran down together in a line down main street going to face the oncoming darkness.
The raging darkness was drawing closer over the town, screams of townspeople could be heard already piercing through their ears like a warning of destruction and horrors. It would take anyone's breath away at the sight of the blackest darkness coming their way.
Alexander then shouted out to all of them through the howling wind swirling in the air which was being sucked and pushed by the oncoming darkness towards the town. "We need to figure out what's going on!"
Nathaniel then shouted out through the wind in response. "I thought that was pretty clear to everyone Alex with the oncoming darkness headed toward the town!" They all stared at each other forming a wide circle with each other spaced out.
Then the screeching increased, they all turned towards the direction the darkness was coming. Nobody's appeared in front of them probably formed from the oncoming cloud, Emma looked to Nathaniel and they both knew what they needed to do.
"Alexander, Elizabeth go around town and make sure everyone is safely in their homes, take care of anything that gets in the way" They both nodded and ran off in a flash of light in the colors in which they wore.
Nathaniel and Emma stayed behind to deal with the nobody's, they then ran towards them head on. Nathaniel took out his sword ready to fight, while Emma stook out her hand on instinct trusting her gut and a brightly lit white sword appeared in her hands.
The nobody's swayed in black clothing and then took out their prods and night sticks to fight seeing Emma and Nathaniel come charging at them.
Emma and Nathaniel reached the group of nobody's which consisted of ten people who had been affected by Crane's darkness. They were no longer themselves, but could be restored by Emma..for she had the power.
Emma slashed away with her glowing white sword at the nobody's trying to kill the hold the darkness had on them all. Emma cut into one of them then grazed another on their shoulder while Nathaniel helped hold off the rest protecting her.
It took a couple of minutes but as Emma reached the last nobody she thrust-ed her sword straight through their torso shattering the hold the shadow held on this group of nobody's.
When it was over Emma stood there breathing in and out with Nathaniel while the nobody's who were on the ground and restored to them old selves free of the darkness' control came to and awoke. Most them muttered confused as to where they were, Emma and Nathaniel chuckled to each other happy that they saved the group of people.
It only lasted a minute before the darkness of a storm coming towards the town reaching the town line stopped their chuckles. They then saw dark black painted cars which they had seen before when the council invaded last time come driving through the dark cloud that had reached the town and all stopping in front of the clock tower.
Emma and Nathaniel then told the people to run towards the building and get to safety, they received many thanks and smiles from the people who were once nobody's as they ran.
Nathaniel then took Emma's hand which did not hold her sword dragging her towards the cover of an alleyway to see what the council was up to. They both watched cautiously as they saw Tamara and Greg emerge from the black cars with other people in black suits and holding prods. They directed the people to the truck's trunk while they ordered the left over council members to stand guard in a circle probably looking for them and keeping watch.
Emma and Nathaniel both wondered what they were doing, they watched as they unloaded a black plastic hard box. They watched curious as they then brought the box to the middle of the recently formed circle made by the cars and council members and unlocked the box and appeared to be setting what looked to be like a machine up right in the middle of the street.
Emma and Nathaniel then chose then to make a move when nobody's appeared from black smoke doubling the council member's strength as one of the car's backseat doors opened revealing the dark twisted evil man known as Crane, Nathaniel then pulled Emma back ducking back into the alley way to stay out of their sight. He was in town, however he wasn't at full strength he was man with normal magic nothing more nothing less. For now.
As Nathaniel examined them it looked like they were trying to hold that position, looking at how the council member's and nobody's were set up it looked too easy and obvious..almost like they were waiting for something. That was the tricky part, not knowing what they were waiting for.
Alexander and Elizabeth along with everyone who was at the apartment earlier which included Emma's parent's, Neal, and Regina were running down main street to meet up with Emma and Nathaniel. Alexander makes a signal to stop as they near the alleyway then whistled very loudly trying to catch the certain attention of Emma and Nathaniel, Elizabeth stands next to him as she scans the street near the alley way for signs of Emma and Nathaniel getting more and more frantically worried. Then a second later they were shaken on the street from what was like an earthquake which shook the town while a red straight electrifying pulsating beam shot up from inside the clock tower towards the dark sky.
It felt like the remaining light was fading and the air was being blown and sucked from the atmosphere as if the town was malfunctioning. That's when they caught sight of Emma running towards the light shooting out to the sky with a glowing bright white sword in her hand they haven't seen before along with Nathaniel chasing after her shouting her name desperately with fear edged in his voice.
They then took off towards them; everyone except Lily, Alexander, and Elizabeth stopped running the minute they saw Emma and Nathaniel start to take on fighting dark shadow creatures which carried flowing black cloths so thin it looked like it was being pulled through water and black dust.
They had no idea how to help, nor kill the creatures so they stood there in shock as the hero team fought alongside each other. Together.
As Emma slashed through the last shadow that was in her way from the machine, she spotted him. He stood there in a full black expensive suit on, his eyes turning from brown to black, his hair as black as the darkness behind him stretching into the town. What she noticed last was his smile, so misleading for happiness for most but knowingly deadly for her.
As Emma fought the nobody holding it back from reaching its grasp around her arm, Nathaniel then screamed out drawing her gaze attention away from the nobody and Crane.
"EMMA YOU MUST DESTROY IT, YOU MUST DESTROY IT HURRY. IT'S DISRUPTING THE TOWN!" Emma then looked towards the device that was giving off the electrifying red bright light once more, then she saw that Crane was no where in sight. Emma then shoved the nobody off of her and away from her slashing it across its waist making light stream from the slash as it fell from the ground morphing back into the human that was once consumed by the darkness.
Emma without conceiving a thought or doubt charged at the machine with her glowing bright white sword in her hand, in the seconds she had neared it she had raised it above her head ready to strike down.
"EMMA!" She heard her mother and father call out her name as they then decided to run towards their daughter to try to protect her not caring of the danger's happening around them in fear of loosing her.
She slashed the machine bringing her sword down upon it, the next milliseconds were all a blur to her thinking back recalling.
A huge light explosion went off as if a nuclear bomb had exploded stretching out from the device hitting Emma first taking her away with the machine in the light. The explosion expanded stretching all through out the town stretching to the border of it all around blowing trees in the forest and buildings windows to shattered pieces. There was loud noise through the air as everyone saw it all happen around them, and before they could blink the explosion then receded to where the machine and Emma once was in a faster than light suction.
Everything disappeared and the noise stopped completely leaving no sound at all, the only thing left in its place was wood area that had disappeared when the town had formed.
There was a light being shown in a dark room illuminating it just so people could see what was going on in it. Automatic black doors built into the wall opened, two guards dressed in black uniform stood on each side of a person in special black chains.
They escorted their prisoner forward into the room towards three other people standing there waiting. The guards in black uniform brought over the prisoner in front of their leader and the other two people.
The prisoner's attention was only on one of the people in the room, and it was the man with the evil smile on his face. He was wearing a black suit and had brown eyes that could pass as black, they noticed by looking into his eyes you could see actual pure darkness.
"Hello Savior...so..how does it feel to be in chains once again?"
She said nothing, and did nothing but stare at him. The man in the black suit with darkness in his eyes laughed while continuing speaking. "I designed them myself, just for you. Princess"
"You must have way too much time on your hands Crane" she remarked teasingly.
"You think your such a smart ass, how about that disappearing act"
She then pointed a finger at him while in the black chains angrily and accusingly "You tricked me, you rigged the machine to bring everyone back to the enchanted forest all by the touch of my magic to intensify the bean pod you had placed in it. While the explosion went on you snatched me while everybody was seeing stars"
Crane wore a huge grin with chuckle following it. He looked to the ground holding his smile then looked to her. "and you played right into it"
"I still foiled your plan, I still saved the town...and my family"
"You think that was my plan, oh no. You see you the inner you the savior are a child and you always think so small. What would I do with endless darkness in one little town, when I can spread to every corner every soul and being in all the realms. In just a two days, all realms will be enveloped in the darkness snuffing out all and every light including you..especially you. Take her to her cell"
The two guards in black uniforms then gruffly took her shoving her out of the room holding her arms out through the automatic black doors they had come through to the hallway while Emma stared at Crane the whole time until she could no longer see him.
She was escorted down a hallway and to another black door which was built into the wall as well. The three entered the dark room while the chains clanked from moving, Emma noticed there was a very black claw like cage on the ceiling which was somehow lowered down, and a circle pedestal in the middle of the room for it to become a cage. The cage on the ceiling had cobwebs on it as if hadn't been used in years.
"Who's your decorator spider-man?" one of the guards then slapped her in the face, causing her to try to hold her face for a second feeling the pain of the slap and recovering. After slapping her the man then told the other guard to search her. He did by patting her down for anything such as weapons and the like.
He found numerous weapons on her hidden, he found a gun, two swords, three daggers, a cell phone, a slingshot, a wallet in which he had thrown in a pile on the floor in the room and then finally the guard found the last item on her which was a Rubik's cube. The guard gave her a look when he came across it, she smiled cheekily and replied. "Once a kid always a kid" the guards sneered at her before, shoving her towards the pedestal in the middle of the room placing her firmly on it standing.
He then walked over to the other guard towards the door where a key pad was on the wall, the one who had slapped her gave her a sickening look before pressing the button and lowering the cage over the pedestal locking Emma inside the claw like cage.
The guards in black chuckled sneering at her before the one who had slapped her muttered. "Good night sweet princess" then they left with the automatic doors closing tight making a sound close to slamming.
Emma then sighed looking around the very dark room, she glanced at the pile of her belongings and saw her wallet when thrown had been opened exposing the photo of her Henry, Neal, and her parents. The question in which she was faced with ever since she had gotten there had arisen.
How was she going to escape. She knew she wasn't sticking around, not after last time these people took her. She had to escape before it was too late.
