I don't own PJO or HoO, or any of their characters. I only own Lyra and Chaos, (since Chaos wasn't mentioned in the books) and any other characters I create or that weren't in any books.

Lyra POV

After Chaos left, Percy was the first to break the silence.

"Well that was weird," he said. I rolled my eyes. Then my expression grew to a serious one. "Do you think we should accept his offer?"

Percy's expression grew to a thoughtful one. "Well some of the gods don't deserve a punishment, while some don't deserve that big of a punishment.

I smiled. "I never thought the day would come that this Seaweed Brain over here would actually say something that smart." Percy smiled and gave me a playful shove. "I can be smart when I want to,"

"I can see that," I said. Then I remembered the topic at hand. "So what do you think?" I asked. Percy seemed to immediately understand what I was talking about and his expression changed back to a serious one.

"Well," Percy said. "Maybe if Chaos spared some gods, I would join him. But I think Poseidon deserves even the smallest punishment." I was confused. "Why?" I asked. "Because he never answers my prayers and never helps me,"

Then I had an idea. "Maybe we could ask Chaos to spare some gods so that we join him."

Percy's face lit up. "That could work!" he exclaimed. "Let's call Chaos back right now."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, let's call Chaos back five minutes after he left. Great idea!" Note the sarcasm there.

"Yeah!" Percy said. I rolled my eyes again. I'm getting good at this I thought. "Sarcasm, Percy, sarcasm.

"Oh" he rubbed the back of his head.

My expression softened. "Let's call him back tommorow." I said. "Good idea!" Percy said, as they walked back to their cabin.

Percy POV

When we got to our cabin, I looked at Lyra. "Are you sure we're doing the right thing?" Lyra smiled. "That's a question to ask yourself." she said as she lie down in bed.

Percy frowned. "You sound like my mom." An alarmed look passed her face, but she quickly hid it, something that confused me immensely. She looked like she wanted to tell me something, but she closed her mouth. "Really?" she said instead. Percy nodded.

"Good." Lyra said.

I lie down in bed and thought about what happened in the last hour. Chaos asked me to destroy the gods. Check. Lyra found a loophole to the offer. Check. I had a few second thoughts about it. Check.

Soon, sleep overcame me, and I drifted into the realm of Morpheus.

Lyra POV

The next day, I went to breakfast. As soon as I sat down at the Poseidon table, Percy said, "So we're doing it today?" I nodded. "Right after I finish these pancakes." I said. Then I took a syringe of blue food food color, and I squeezed some of it into my pancakes. Yep, I love blue food just as much as Percy.

"Want some?" I asked Percy. He nodded eagerly. I squeezed some of the color into Percy's waffles. He dived into them just as I moved the syringe and put it into my pocket. Then I whispered, "Blue orange juice" into my goblet. The juice appeared in the cup, in all its blue goodness.

As soon as we finished breakfast, we went to our cabin. We both wore solemn expressions on our face. "You ready?" Lyra said. "You bet!" Percy said, trying to sound excited, but I could see right through his mask. He was super nervous.

I chuckled in my head at the irony of it. We had turned from two people who barely knew each other, to two people who shared a secret.

Then Percy asked the million-dollar question: "How do we summon Chaos?" I thought about it. I decided on calling out his name.

"O Lord Chaos. We have decided our answer to your generous offer. Will you grace us with your presence?" As if on cue, a wind blew faster and faster until a light flashed and Chaos appeared.

You just beat Zeus for the most dramatic entrance I thought. "I know I did," Chaos said.

"Did you just read my mind?" I asked. "Yes, I did," he said. Percy looked more confused than ever, but he let it go.

"So what's you're answer?" he asked us. I hesitated, but eventually, I answered.

"On one condition, but yes, we accept your offer." I said, my expression never wavering.

To be continued...

Ha, I've always wanted to do that! Oh yeah, and my genius 7-year old cousin edited this chapter, so three cheers for her!

Today's Trivia of the Day:

Who did Nico have a crush on? (It's explained in detail in the Blood of Olympus, but you hear it in the House of Hades and some of the Percy Jackson and The Olympians books too.)

I'll mention whoever get's it right in the next chapter.
