Chapter 12

I'm back. Sorry if I haven't been able to update in a while, it's just I've been really busy the past week and a half. I've got loads of free this weak, though, and I'll be updating this story again tomorrow. The day after that, I'll be updating Assassin in Monster High.

April 25 – Gekkoukan High – morning

Today class was once again being taught by Mr. Edogawa. He was subbing for Ms. Terauchi. He was once again droning on about magic.

April 25 – Gekkoukan High – after school

Nagito was about to walk out of the classroom until Yukari stopped him.

"Hey, can I talk to you?" She asked. She seemed to have a guilty look on her face.

"Sure. What's wrong?" Nagito asked.

"I don't want anyone to overhear us. Can we go to the roof?" He nodded and followed her

April 25 – Gekkoukan High roof – after school

"Um, listen. I'm sorry I wasn't much help last night." She said.

"What are you talking about?" Nagito asked.

"I was useless and I couldn't do anything. I caused you so much trouble."

"Yukari..." Nagito muttered.

"But what you did was amazing! You were able to summon two Personas at the same time and used that Cadenza move to save us. But… if I had been more useful, you wouldn't have had to use it. It clearly took a lot of you and that's why you almost collapsed. It's my fault I put you in danger."

"Yukari, it's not anyone's fault what happened. Yes, I may have used Cadenza and that took a lot of me, but you managed to hit those Shadows' weak points with your arrows. You've been a lot of help for the team. You saved us many times with your healing spells. We would've been dead by now if it weren't for you. You should feel good about yourself." He said reassuringly and gave her a friendly smile.

"H-Huh? O-Oh, th-thanks..." Yukari said blushing. "You really are a good leader." She said with a cheerful smile.

"Thanks." Nagito said with a smile of his own.

Time froze again.

After parting ways with Yukari, Nagito went to the Read-On manga cafe. He read Fushigi Yugi, his all-time favorite shojo manga until closing time at 9:30. He then headed to back to the dorm and watched re-runs of WWE Raw in his room until he fell asleep.

Sorry if I haven't been writing two days in one chapter like I said I would, but writing one day in one chapter is easier on me.
