I am sooooooo sorry I've been gone for so long. If any of you go to college then you can understand why it's taken me so long just to update this chapter. School, plus a new job, as well as helping out at home kind of makes things difficult for me, you know. Oh, I've recently discovered the dub for this so I'm going to be going by that from now on. I know how some feel about dub, and sub, but personally like them both. I won't get into a debate about the dub v sub thing. Anyway here is chapter 5.

Hope you all enjoy.

Chapter 5

So, last night was crazy I have to admit. I know I overreacted after hearing what Subaru said to me, but can you blame me. His words really hit home. I know I'm not always the best person to be around, and yes I know I can be a pain sometimes, but geez did what he say really hurt me. I ended up crying in front of the guy because of it. I had called Misaki a couple minutes after the twins left telling her what had happened. The crazy chick went ballistic with so much rage over the phone that I feared she might destroy my ear drum from how loud she was yelling.

May God have mercy on Subaru's soul if Misaki ever meets him.

"Chii, you need to wake up or else you'll be late for school," I heard Juli chirp into my ear. He was currently standing next to my pillow where my head was lightly tugging on my long brown hair.

"Mmmm," I groaned turning my face into the soft fabric of my pillow case. I so did not want to get up this morning. I didn't want to risk seeing anyone after what happened last night.

Juli continued to tug on my hair, squeaking over and over again that I needed to get up. And like before I refused, that is until that little rat pulled out his trump card.

"If you don't get up I'm going to dial Misaki's cell and screech into the phone," he said with a small smirk on his furry face.

My eyes immediately opened and I sat up quickly. There was no way I was going to let him do that, not again. The horror from last time flooded my mind making me shiver in fear.

"Okay I'm up," I growled pulling the covers from off of me and getting up from my bed. I rolled my eyes at the sound of Juli snickering from on my bed. Oh he was so not getting an extra helping of fruit today.

I dressed myself in my uniform, fixed up my hair a bit, grabbed my school bag and headed out towards the main room of the complex. I had seemed to remember that last night I had left not only my phone down there but my DS as well. Wataru and I had faced each other last night in an ultimate fighting dual so it was pretty common for me to forget that thing after a hard pressed dual. Hey, you can't beat a good round in Super Smash Brothers can ya? I know I can't.

As Juli and I made our way down the steps to the main room I saw Tsubaki and Azusa sitting next to each other on the couch conversing. When they saw me they stopped and smiled.

Tsubaki gave me a closed eye smile and waved. "Yo, how did you sleep?"

I shrugged. "Fine, I can't complain."

Azusa chuckled. "Sorry about yesterday," he lifted up his hand which had my lavender touch screen in it, "here, you forgot your cell phone."

"And your DS," Tsubaki added with a wide grin as he lifted up his hand, my DS in hand.

"Thanks," I said as I took both items from their hands.

"Also, we took care of Subaru for you last night so you don't have to worry about him anymore." I raised a brow at powder heads words.

What did he mean 'took care of Subaru'?

Tsubaki smirked. "We might have gone a little over board but what are you going to do," he turned his gaze to the side of the couch, "Subaru brought that all on himself."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, I don't think you want to see what we did to him. It might scar your delicate eyes."

Azusa rolled his eyes. "What he means to say is you don't want to know."

I nodded, still not fully grasping what these two meant.

Juli sniffed. "Whatever they did to him is alright with me. That jerk deserved it for making you cry." Oh Juli.

I rubbed the little fuzzballs head with my finger and grinned. He purred at the feel of my finger lightly combing through his fur, tapping his little foot rapidly.

"Good morning," Ukyo spoke, slightly startling me. He smiled at the three of us, basket full of laundry in his arms.

"Good Morning," I greeted back. "Um are you by chance taking those out to dry?"

Uyko nodded. "Yes, actually it you don't mind I would appreciate it if you take over."

"Sure," I replied walking over to him and taking the basket from his hands.

"There we go," I said pulling another sheet over the clothes line. I was pretty much almost done with the basket that Ukyo gave, besides the extra clothes that a certain powder head dropped in there. Apparently he thought it would be funny putting some of Subaru's basketball jersey's in their, cheeky guy.

I sighed. "I need to get out of the house today, not just for school. I need to go on some sort of outing.

"Maybe you should call up Misaki and see what she's doing," Juli suggested, crossing his little arms and tilting his head.

"Maybe.." The last time I had called Misaki was last night and it was because I was in an semi emotional state. I pondered on the thought a little longer as I continued with the laundry.

"I do need to go by the DVD and Book store for some things." I've been looking for some more recipe's for dinner, and buying a new cook book was a sure fire way to help with that.

Juli smiled. "Misaki can come with us then. She loves going places with tons of people."

I smirked, thinking of how happy the pink haired girl gets when taken out in public. "That she does."

After finishing up with the laundry I called Misaki. From the loud squeals on the other end of the line I could tell she was thrilled to be going somewhere with me. I told Ukyo and the twins that I would be going out with a friend and wouldn't be back for a while. They were curious at first as to who I would be spending so much time with, Tsubaki had a strange look in his eye when I said friend, but I assured them that Misaki was definitely trust worthy...most of the time. I did not voice my opinion openly to them about my friend but I did say that she was a nice girl. The three smiled at me and told me to have fun.

Now, here I am walking around town, in my school uniform with Misaki, who seems to be staring at anyone that comes even a foot close to her.

"Misaki, please, can you stop doing that. People are going to think that you're a creeper." Not that she wasn't that already.

Misaki stopped her staring to look at me with pouty eyes. "How could you say that Risa?! I'm not like that," she bellowed as she grabbed a hold of my arm and squeezed it with both of her hands.

"Gaaah, you crazy girl, let go of Chii," Juli screeched trying to pull Misaki from off of me with his tiny hands. It seemed that his efforts were for not. Misaki tightened her grip on me while rubbing her head against my shoulder. My faithful guard squirrel got even more upset as he continued to try and pry her off of me. This went on for a good 9 to 10 minutes up until we arrived at the DVD and Bookstore.

"Oooooh," Misaki squealed with excitement, letting go of my arm and running straight through the doors of the store.

My hand moved to the bridge of my nose, rubbing it slightly. Juli did the same.

"That girl, I can never fully grasp why she acts the way she does, but I can see that I will never get used to it. Even after the 4 years that we've known each other." I sighed, ignoring the stares that I was getting and walked through the doors calmly. My eyes searched back and forth searching for Misaki. I thought I had lost her when I saw a tuft of pink sticking out from behind one of the shelves. My left eye twitched in irritation as I walked towards her. Sometimes I just wanted to tie a leach around that girls neck so she wouldn't run off like just now.

When I got close enough to where Misaki was standing I grabbed her by the back of her pink jacket and pulled her. In a true Misaki fashion she raised her hands high above her head and yelled 'whee' as I dragged her away.

While I dragged my friend by the collar of her uniform I received strange looks from people who happened to be watching. Obviously I ignored them. Fact of the matter is if you have a friend like Misaki you have to learn how not to be embarrassed by their actions, or else you're pretty much doomed.

"Misaki, stop making so much noise, people are watchi-" I stopped mid way through my little rant when I caught sight of someone familiar. Someone I half expected to see in a store like this.

"Risa why'd you stop," I heard Misaki ask me, but I payed her no mind. My hand loosened the grip on her collar as I walked over to shelf filled with drama dvd's. Juli, who was still standing on my shoulder tilted his head in confusion at my sudden behavior, but when he looked to see what I had seen he started to hiss.

"Fuuto," I called out drawing his attention. It was totally unexpected to see him with a pair of sunglasses covering his eyes and a large stack of dvd's in his arms. I thought he was some sort of pop star. Why would he be out here of all places?

At the sound of my voice the brat turned his head, his jaw tightening as he looked at me. I was about to ask what he was doing but stopped when I saw him rush up to me. His hand shot out pressing slightly hard against my mouth.

"Hey, what's wrong with you! You don't just blurt our my name like that! What if someone heard you," he hissed at me shifting his eyes back and forth warily.

I blinked. "How was I supposed to know that," I mumbled behind his hand. Man, why did I have to see him here of all places, and with Misaki...wait a minute.

Fuuto scowled at me tilting his chin up at me with a haughty look. "Uh huh. Listen, I'm a pop star, and if any of these people heard even a whisper of my name they will come running after me, and I don't need that happening." He took his hand from off of my mouth.

"Risa~where did you go," Misaki's high pitched voice called out for me. I turned my head to answer, prepared to walk over to my friend but I felt a hand grab my left wrist pulling me back.

"You aren't going anywhere," Fuuto said with a small mischievous smirk on his face.

"What? What do you mean I'm not going anywhere?" Juli chirped in agreement.

"Oh, Risa is that you," Misaki said coming up next to me. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at me. I could practically see stars floating around her. When her eyes met Fuuto's the starry look in he eye left immediately.

"Who is this," she asked, quite rudely I might add. Fuuto flinched at the dirty look Misaki was giving him. The grasp on my wrist was slowly loosening up.

I knew Misaki was the right person for my Fuuto repellent, but dang she's doing such a good job. I should invite her over next time too.

My eyes shifted form Misaki over to Fuuto who seemed to be resisting the pink haired girls baleful gaze. He frowned in retaliation, letting go of my wrist.

"Tch, rent these for me will ya," he said handing over his large stack of dvd's to me. I almost dropped them on account of him shoving them into my chest, which by the way hurt.

"Hmph, the nerve," Misaki huffed, sending more glares at the teen as she watched him leave the store. "Who was that guy anyway?"

"Uh, that was Fuuto Asakura, the pop star," I answered, trying to keep a good grip on the dvd's the brat left behind for me to rent.

Juli screeched. "The nerve indeed Misaki!" Oh Juli.

"Fuuto, isn't that guy one of your stepbrothers?" I nodded. Misaki looked at me with sympathetic eyes and gave me a pat on the back.

"I am so sorry."

My shoulders slumped. "I'm sorry too."

"Thank God! I'm finally home!" Today was pretty exhausting considering how much time it took just to get home. Usually it doesn't take that long but Misaki, my oh so faithful friend, kept dragging me this way and that to different places after we left that store. She said she wanted to get my mind off of Fuuto acting like a butt.

"She had good intentions, but..." Misaki's excitement takes quite the toll on a person.

"Indeed she did," Juli smiled, his ears twitching back and forth.

After exiting the elevator I slowly made my way to my room, very much looking forward to just lounging around and doing nothing...but there was a problem. Not only was I stuck with dvd's that that horrid brat 'requested' I rent, said brat was standing in front of door.

Great.

"It's about time," Fuuto huffed, his eyes watching me as I approached him. The look he had just spelled 'mischievous', giving me an obvious indication that he was up to something that I know I wasn't going to like.

My eye twitched. "Here," I stretched out the bag with the rented dvd's towards him, "I rented them just like you wanted."

Fuuto stared at the bag on my hand for a few good minutes, then he smirked. "I see. You know, you owe me," he smiled slyly at me.

Cue eyebrow raise. "And how pray-tell do I owe you." Fuuto didn't say anything, in fact he was just standing there staring straight at me. Rather intently I might add.

"You really are clueless, aren't you," the pop star questioned. I had no clue what he meant by me being clueless. Then it happened. Fuuto grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him causing the bag in my hand filled with the rented dvd's to fall.

"What do you think you're doing," Juli hissed, making to move towards the boy so he can scratch his face. With my free hand I was able to block the little fur ball from doing so.

"Hey, what's the big idea," I said with distaste for the predicament that I was in. I really don't like being touched.

"The big idea is that you owe me, and seeing as how we're in front of your room right now, I say now's a time as any to pay me back." Fuuto moved his face close to mine and smirked. "I thought watching those movies you dropped on the floor would be the perfect pay back."

Uh, what?

"So, you're saying you want to watch movies, in my room?" I heard a very loud 'no' from Juli who was still being held by me.

Fuuto nodded and pulled away from me but he did not let go of my hand. "Yes, geez can't you listen the first time." Cue eye twitch.

The brat sure was asking for it.

Kchak!

"Uh, welcome to my room I guess-" Fuuto brushed past me, making his way to my bed and plopping down on it. "-Make yourself at home..." Gosh I really can't stand this kid.

Juli hissed once again with complete disregard for the kid. I was actually in agreement with him.

"You should really do something about that thing, it looks hostile," Fuuto pointed out as he narrowed his eyes at Juli who was now on my shoulder. "I don't want it to scratch my face. I am a pop star after all."

"..." I didn't say anything, I was trying to hold my peace, but I did glare at him though. Where does he get off saying that Juli is hostile like that. I mean I know he can be a little crazy sometimes but he does it with good intentions.

Reluctantly, I took hold of Juli and put him in a nearby bag, zipping it up all the way. He screeched erratically from inside of the bag as I picked it up and moved it to the farthest corner of my room.

"You really are dumb aren't you, letting a guy into your room willingly like this." Fuuto got up form the bed and walked over to my window. He grabbed both curtains, pulling them closer and closer together until the room was completely dark. He turned around and smirked again.

"Now, shall we get to it."

For awhile we just sat on my bed watching one of the many dvd's that I rented. The film, coincidentally, was about a young man who had coaxed a girl into going on a date with him. Said girl refused, until the boy pulled trump card against her, giving her no choice but to go out with him.

"I can't really see well from over here, the lighting sucks. Can I scoot a little closer to you, big sis?" There's that mischievous look in his eye again. What is this brat up to now?

I nodded my head slowly. "Um, sure, if that will help you see the screen better then by all means."

"My how generous of you," he thanked and scooted his body closer to mine. Are legs were practically touching now.

"I gotta say that was incredible, right? I mean that last seen." Fuuto looked at me giving me that intense stare again.

I shrugged. " I guess, but it was pretty stupid if you ask me. The dude was sitting in a chair doing nothing."

"Man, you don't have a clue do you," Fuuto scoffed. "It's those types of scenes that really bring out the emotion in a character."

Wow, I didn't know it was like that. "Really? I had no clue."

The kid rolled his eyes. "Of course you don't. If you fake your way through the smallest thing in a scene then it's pretty much transparent...I've been trying to nail it but I just haven't managed to grasp it. So, I'm going to keep practicing until I'm as good as the actor on tv."

Huh, I never figured the brat could be so, passionate. Who knew.

"People say pop stars can't act. I don't wanna prove them right. But you're never going please everyone."

"Dude, that's pretty awesome," I said with a small smile. Fuuto scowled at me.

"Shut up, are you making fun of me?!"

I shook my head. "Nope. I just thought that hearing you talk like this has given me some incentive to actually push myself even more. I don't really have anything that I want to do, but you, you already have so much in store for you that it makes me kind of jealous."

"...You really are amazing," I heard Fuuto whisper.

"Huh?" I felt the mattress dip down. Fuuto was leaning in close to my face, moving his hand to touch my face. He stared at me with that same intense look again, smiling at me as he slowly caressed my cheeks.

"You know, I was going to let that little incident from earlier slide, but now-" his arm wrapped around my waist pulling me even closer to his face. "-I don't think I can let you go now after seeing how beautiful you are."

What?! What does he mean he's not letting me go?! Ah, stay out of my bubble!

"Hey, you won't mind if I don't call you my sister very much will you?"

What is that supposed to mean? "Uh, I don't really know what you mea-" Ah, what is he doing, I screamed in my head. Fuuto was moving his face closer and closer to mine, ugh, oh god please stop!

Ding Dong!

Whoo, saved by the bell, or in this case the door bell.

"Yo, you home," came the voice of my rescuer, who sounded a lot like Yuusuke. "They asked me to give you this paper for next weeks career counseling." I heard the sound of the first door being opened then shut. Hurry it up man!

"I'm coming in, I'm opening the door." The door behind us opened, revealing Yuusuke peeking his head through. "Hey, anyone in here?"

"Hey, you're killing the mood man," Fuuto drawled from next to me.

"...!" The piece of paper that Yuusuke was holding in his hand fell to the floor. From the looks of his face he was pretty shocked to see Fuuto of all people in my room, sitting on my bed.

"What the heck man? Fuuto what do you think you're doing," Yuusuke shouted stomping his way over to my bed.

The pop star brat snorted. " A gentleman never tells, isn't that right, big sis."

I sweat dropped. "Please, please don't make me say anything, I'm irritated as it is already." Proof of my irritation was shown by the scowl I had on my face, which was obviously pointed towards the boy sitting next to me. The brat so needed to learn a thing or two about personal space.

"See what you did! Now she's mad!" Yuusuke walked over to Fuuto and grabbed him by the arm.

"Hey watch it! You're going to mess up my hair!" Fuuto struggled within his brothers grasp as he was being pulled away.

"Shut up! I swear you have to be watched 24/7." The older boy pulled his brother by the back of his jacket, heading straight for the door. Fuuto waved to me with a grin.

"Let's do this again sometime big sis!" Apparently that seemed to make Yuusuke even more baffled.

"Shut it," is what I heard before the door shut behind them.

"...Thank God," I sighed in relief. "They're finally gone...oh, what's that?" In front of my feet lay the piece of paper that Yuusuke dropped a few seconds ago. I picked it up and turned it over to see what it said.

"Career Counseling," I read a loud. Guess that means that it's that time of year for us. Time went by fast.

"Chi," I heard Juli scream from inside the bag I put him in. Oh man, I almost forgot he was in there. I ran over to the bag and unzipped it, freeing a very peeved looking Juli.

Oh boy.

And that's a wrap! Whooo, I'm beat. I never thought I would actually get through this, but I did so high fives all around! I am deeply sorry though. I never meant for all of you who read this to wait this long for an update. As I said before I have a busy schedule now, busier than before s please bare with me. I'll try, really I will, to update the next chapter. It's going to be long awaited wedding so look forward to it.

Well, until next time XD.
