First Time
"How did you and Yang start getting intimate?"
Blake spat her tea all over her desk. "Excuse me!?" Blake and Weiss had grown closer over their time at Beacon, their relationships with Yang and Ruby respectively making them effectively sisters-in-law, but the heiress had never asked anything close to personal as that.
"You heard me, how did you and Yang start… you know…" Weiss asked, setting her scroll down. The two were alone in the dorm and had silently been doing homework prior to the ice queen's query. Blake fought to keep her composure, trying to hide the crimson tinge that crept across her cheeks.
"I don't know what you're talking about…" Blake obviously lied. Weiss rolled her eyes.
"Come on, Blake. You're not stupid so don't play stupid. We see you putting your clothes on backwards between classes, we see your scarf on the door, we hear you-"
"You can hear us!?" Blake hissed, embarrassed.
"We all can!" Nora called from across the hall. The faunus's cheeks burned red as she dropped her head onto her desk.
"Anyway…" Weiss continued. "Ruby and I have been dating for six months now and I want to take the next step but I don't really know how… and god knows she doesn't know how to take that step, that adorably clueless dolt…" Gathering her composure, Blake sat back up.
"Okay… so you want to… you know… with Ruby… I guess the first step would be to kinda set the mood, maybe a little music, dim the lights."
"We can dim these lights?"
"Yang installed special lightbulbs. But you know, bring the lights down, embrace her, give her a kiss, run your fingers through her long blonde hair, feel those powerful arms around you, let her peel your ribbon off and…" Blake noticed that she was getting way off topic and cleared her throat. "Sorry… way too much information. Anyway, just try setting the mood… maybe dress nice for her, then let it happen naturally."
"Okay…" Weiss scribbled all of this down into her personal notebook. "What kind of music should I put on?"
"I guess any kind of music that has meaning," Blake suggested. "Yang has a love playlist with songs for any occasion."
"Is that why I keep getting Boyz II Men stuck in my head?"
"Yeah sorry…" Blake replied bashfully. Before they could continue, the door opened and Yang strolled in.
"What's up ice queen? Hey kitten!" Yang pulled her faunus girlfriend into her arms for a kiss. Weiss, knowing what comes next, quickly rushed out of the room. She had planning to do anyway.
That night, Ruby came back from a solo training simulation to find a note stuck to the door. "Ruby," it read. "Blake and I went to see that new Hero Squad movie. Probably gonna be terrible. We'll be back later. Love, Yang." Ruby smiled. "Aw, what a good sister, saving me from that awful movie." Ruby opened the door to see that the lights were down low. Candles were lit all over the room and Weiss awkwardly sat on her bunk, wearing a form-hugging blue dress.
"Hi Ruby…" Weiss said softly. Ruby was speechless as she looked around.
"What's all this, Weiss?" Ruby asked, confused. Weiss walked to the red-clad huntress and kissed her lovingly.
"Well it's been six months… I figure we could use a night alone together… if you catch my drift…" With that last word, Weiss kissed Ruby again, this time slower. Immediately catching the aforementioned drift, Ruby quickly shut the door in a flurry of rose petals.
"Look, I'm just saying that it was trying way too hard to be Saviors of the Star System, that's all!" Nora argued as she, Blake, Yang, and the other members of Team JNPR walked down the hallway toward their dorms. "I mean come on, "what are we, some sort of Hero Squad?" Who says that?"
"I think you're giving this way too much thought," Ren replied, squeezing Nora's hand gently. As they approached, Blake was the first to spot the red cloak hanging on the doorknob of their door. Blake blushed and tried tugging Yang the other way.
"You know what? That movie was so bad I could use a drive. How bout taking me for a ride on Bumblebee?" Blake asked. Yang raised an eyebrow.
"Okay you hate my motorcycle, what's going on?" Blake's golden eyes darted back and forth nervously.
"Uhhh… trust me, Ruby and Weiss are… talking and I don't think we should disrupt them…" Blake lied. Team JNPR shared knowing glances with each other but Yang still believed Ruby to be the innocent baby sister she always was so she grinned.
"That's so considerate of you!" Yang chirped, tugging Blake toward the stairs. "You're so cute, Blakey." Blake chuckled nervously as she was tugged toward the door. Suddenly, music too soft for the others to pick up reached her acute faunus ears.
Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray.
"Real subtle, Weiss… real subtle…"
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Wow this was in the works for a LONG time. I know I kind of abandoned this story (and others) for a long time but I'm trying to continue more! If people like this I'll happily continue. Also if anyone wants to challenge me with any drabble prompts, I might consider trying that out. Anyway let me know what you think. Also as of this chapter the rating is officially T... just to cover my bases... Hope you enjoy!
