"Well truth, that was the best surgery ever that we all done together. Even better than when we all had to be brought in on the 5-5 transplant surgery and had 2 patients each in one theatre." Mark said to everyone as they finished showering and redressing together./span/div
"I know, but then again we don't get many surgeries together. All because each of our 2 majored specialities don't cross over much anymore." Jackson said yanking on Meredith's hair bobble, chucking her hair into a messy bun. Whilst Derek plaited Addison's hair for her as Mark had no clue how to do long hair.
"Mark, how long do I have to watch Derek do Addison's hair for you? It is abysmal; but then again he grew up with me and Addison as younger sisters." Meredith asked, then reasoned to Mark, not staying around to find out the answer. She left the shower rooms to sit in a viewing room for another surgery.
The other doctors headed back to their rounds and apologised for the delay in their care. Giving them a run down on what kept them so long. "So you are saying that a person exploded on the table in front of you and you are now going to operate on me. Because it didn't affect you!" a patient shouted at Addison.
Addison took a deep breath before replying "Mrs Harland. I am an OB/GYN surgeon first, which is the reason that I'm operating on you. I am an orthopaedic surgeon second. The reason I was operating on the other patient was for the orthopaedic side and that was a little job for me. Also the most devastating and affective thing to happen to me was not inside an operating room. It was much, much worse than what happened today. So I am going to go and get the prep doctors to prep you and go onto my other patients after you, ok?!" after she ended her tirade she huffed and loaded the chart into the holding rack on the bottom of Mrs Harland's bed. She waltzed out of the room and passed the door to other patients, of Mark's and Derek's. Hearing the exact same speech from both of them to their patients. She laughed at the ignorance of other people and continued to the O.R.
"Mr Smith. I am a neurologist surgeon first and a general surgeon second, which is the reason that I'm operating on you. The reason I was operating on the other patient was for the general side and that was a little job for me. Also the most devastating but affective thing to happen to me... was not inside an operating room and it was much, much worse than what happened today. So I am going to go and get the prep doctors to prep you and go onto my other patients after you, ok?!" came from Derek's room and "Miss Brockwurst. I am a plastic surgeon first, which is the reason that I'm operating on you. An Otolaryngologist surgeon second. The reason I was operating on the other patient was the Otorhinolarynologist side. That was a little job for me. Also the most devastating and affective thing to happen to me was not inside an operating room. It was much, much worse than what happened today. So I am going to go and get the prep doctors to prep you and go onto my other patients after you, ok?!" came from Mark's room.
Jackson sighed and geared up to finding his wife. Who had gone viewing room hopping to get a gist of the other surgeons skills and levels of teaching. He finally found her leaning against a viewing glass. Watching new-born babies laying in their cribs. "We'll have our own soon, I promise you this. Let's free Richard from your office and get started on that pesky paper work you have to do. Then we'll move on to mine; we will pick up take away on the way home and camp out on the roof top like we used to." Jackson said grabbing Meredith's hand pulling her away from the glass.
