Drabble Summary: She swore to herself that she would never cry in front of him. But she broke it as he was in front of her with her non-stop tears that was flowing freely on her cheek.

'In any chance that I'll make you say my name, I'll consider you mine again.'

His eyes were widened after she said those words. He hurt her badly, he was cruel to her. Her tears just wouldn't stop from falling. She was really in pain. She tried to wipe them but she failed, her tears kept falling down. He frowned as he held her cheek with both of his hands once again and kissed her tears, he felt her shiver as he did that.

"I love you," He whispered in every kiss he made to her face, "I love you Sakuno," He said again as he wiped her tears clean, "I love you." He said in possible in a sincere intention, hoping that she would believe him this time. He heard her saying 'stop' as he kissed her tears away but he ignored her plead.

"S-stop!"

He finally did but he didn't let go. He saw her blush once again. The girl managed to hide her blush until now. But the girl was still hurt.

"Stop… please… no more… n-ne, Echizen-kun," She pleaded once again. Sakuno was looking away from him as she distanced themselves together, "Y-you are good at making me believe, so please stop now."

"I am not making this one up, Sakuno… I really need you back," He said. He never said those words to her before, let alone, he never said such romantic words before. But because he felt that he was almost losing the girl, he needed to swallow his pride and did everything to win the girl back, "Give me a chance."

He tightened his grip on her when the girl shook her head once again. It was really unforgivable. The girl wouldn't give him a chance. She kept rejecting him. He was running out of ideas on how to convince her. He slowly hugged her. The girl struggled on his grip;

"E-echizen-kun… l-let's be friends instead… p-please… n-not this." She said still trying to free herself from him, "I-I beg you."

He tightened his grip when he heard that from her. He couldn't accept her as a friend anymore. He really loved the girl and he was hoping that it wasn't too late to make things right. As he tightened the hug he was giving, the girl started to cry once again.

"Y-you are scaring me…" She almost whispered, "Y-yamete kudasai yo."

"I've been watching you for three months," He started. He felt her gasp on his neck, "I discovered the truth a week after I broke up with you. I was intending to come to you and apologize but you did try your best to avoid me… which I told you to do before. Then senpai-tachi told me to let you be for a while until you calmed down a bit. I knew I hurt you so bad. But I watched every now and then," He slowly let go of her so that he could look at her eyes, "You don't know how much I wanted to talk to you after all these months," He fixed her hair and then he caressed her cheek, "Let me heal you… please give me a chance."

"Ryom-" She was able to say his name but she stopped in the middle. She bit her lower lip as she looked away, "I-I don't know… I-I am really scared. I don't want to enter a relationship anymore."

He stared at her painful face. Then an idea popped into his head, "Sakuno," He whispered her name, "In any chance that I'll make you say my name, I'll consider you mine again."

He stared at her. He was hovering her while sitting on the bed, their faces were close but he was not going to kiss her until later. The girl was shocked at his words. The girl was crying but he was smiling. He was giving her a smile that she never seen before. Only Momoshiro saw that smile and he was giving her an opportunity to see it. She blushed despite the tears;

"W-why are you doing this? I-I was in the stage of forgetting you."

"…Because I don't want you to forget me."

"I-I want to move on."

"I don't want you to move on without me."

"I want to… forget."

"Forget the painful things but not me."

She looked at him with a shock on her face. Ryoma continued;

"I wouldn't hurt you anymore, if you give me a chance." He stared at her intensely to her eyes.

"I-I made a promise to you. I swore that I won't go near you again."

"Break it." He was somewhat hypnotizing her with his amber eyes. And finally, he finally heard what he was waiting for.

"R-Ryoma-kun." She was too late to realize at what she said. She quickly covered her mouth with her hands as she looked at him. Her eyes were wide as she looked at him.

Satisfaction.

He smiled at her genuinely, "My Sakuno." He watched her gasp, tears were kept falling down her face, she started to sob as she looked down trying to wipe her tears away. She cried in front of him. She was still sitting on the bed while he was kneeling in front of her.

"Mou, I-I am so pathetic," She gasped as she continued to cry, "I can't believe all of this." She cried her heart out as she completely covered her face with her hands.

Ryoma shifted his position and sat beside her. He hugged the girl one more time. He was overwhelmed that she didn't struggle this time, "I am sorry for hurting you," He tightened his grip, "I won't let you go this time."

Later on:

When she calmed down, Ryoma invited her to go the rooftop. Sakuno was worried because the school was closed already but he assured her that they could get out without worries. Ryoma was too persistent, they were got together again and he wanted to make the most of it.

He looked at the girl. He was still holding her hand, her right hand was cold. He knew that the girl was still nervous and scared. She was trembling all the time when he chased her and did all those convincing things just to get her back. Her expression was still sad and somewhat painful. There were still traces of tears on her face. He pulled her right hand as he faced her. Sakuno looked at him and made a weak smile. He hugged her once again earning a gasp from the girl.

"Tell me," He whispered in her ear, "What should I do… to make you happy again?"

"R-Ryoma-kun," She whispered his name and he really liked the way he called her, "I-I don't know. I-I just can't believe that… that this is happening. I… already… gave up on you."

"Don't give up on me, okay?" He whispered again, "I am stubborn but you know me well."

She nodded. She felt like crying again as he could sense her. She was starting to get warm once again and he missed that warm feeling. He hugged her tightly and whispered another word in her ear, "I love you too much." She flinched on his grip as he felt her. He was a little shocked when the girl hugged him back. Even the girl didn't answer his words back; he knew that she loved him too. He let her cry there for the last time. That would be her last cry of pain anyway.

Later on, he let go of her as she stared at him. He wiped her tears once again when the girl suddenly spoke;

"S-so…" She started. Blush was present once again. The blush that he missed from her, "W-we will start all over again?"

He was about to say yes but he thought of something better, "No," The girl was shocked. He cupped her cheek with his hands and started leaning closer to her face and said before she misunderstood his answer, "We will continue where we left off."

With that he closed the distance between them. The girl gasped on his kiss but later she kissed him back. He did it, he won her back and he wouldn't waste the chance she gave to him. There were nothing he could wish for, his tennis, his Karupin, his ponta and his Sakuno were enough for him.
