Chapter 14 (Warning NC17)
Chewing on her lower lip Carly listened as the water fromSonny's shower stopped flowing. She had promised herself after her slipupearlier that she would never again give into temptation but that was easiersaid than done. Giving her a small smirk he removes the towel that was wrappedaround his hips and lets it drop to the floor before climbing into bed besideher. "I'm not going anywhere" Sonny yetagain tells her.

"Joseph Sorel. Surly you must have heard of me before. I practically run Port Charles" he comments a littleinsulted that this loser didn't know who he was
"I thought Sonny Corinthos did"Lenny comments since Sonny was the only mafia dude he heard of that was incharge of Port Charles and parts of Florida.
"Sonny Corinthos doesn't run this town! He may think he does but he doesn't!" Sorel shouts out
"Why am I here?" Lenny questionsconfused since when he had seen those goons standing in front of his door hehad wrongly assumed they worked for Sonny.
"Because I want to help you out with your dilemma" Sorel declares with a friendly smile plastered across his face.

"So all you have to do is convince your friend that you have a change of heart over Sonny and her being together and have her work her magic on Sonny. Have her make Sonny get you to trust her and then we wait for the right time to stab the bastard in the back. You'll get the girl and I'll get full control over Port Charles" Sorel explains
"Carly and I are just friends"Lenny clarifies
"Whatever. You want her free from Sonny Corinthos don't ya?" Sorel questions

"Well trust me you won't save her from Sonny on your own or with the PCPD backing you up. I'm you're only prayer in freeing her from Sonny's grasp" Sorel declares
He didn't trust him not for a second but he knew that the guywas right. Sonny had more power in his pinky than he did in his entire his bodyso if it meant making a deal with the devil to save his friend from the likesof Sonny he would "I'm in"

Sitting up, Carly states "No, I uh…I guess I was just dreaming"
"Do you remember what the dream was about?" Sonny asks curiously since she was moaning out in hersleeping pretty loudly
"No I don't remember anything" Carlystates as she removed her gaze from off him and glances towards the king sizebed that was in the bedroom. The second
she glances at the bed Carly regrets it as images of her dream floods her mind.
Letting out another moan Carly blinks her eyes closed as she silently wonders
how the hell she was going to be able to resist Sonny when she couldn't even
resist him in her dreams. One thing was sure she was going to have to makeSonny want to move out and fast or she would be doomed.
"Are you sure you're alright? Carly you need to tell me the truth even if you're upset with me when it's about your health or our child's health I need to know if something is wrong" Sonny remarkssince he didn't want her to suffer in pain especially because she was pregnant.
"I'm fine" Carly repeats beforeasking Sonny "Could you give me my crutches"
"Sure" Sonny nods as he reachesfor her crutches that were lying against the wall by the veranda doors.
"Thanks" Carly sighs out heavily.
As he hands Carly her crutches Sonny tells her "Dinner is almost ready. Jason's downstairs he's going to be joining us for dinner tonight"
"Do I have time to shower before we eat?"
"I guess but wouldn't you rather a bath in your condition?" Sonny asks since he didn't like the idea of Carlystanding on one foot in the shower stall when she could be relaxing in thebathtub.
"No I want a shower besides it's harder to get out of a bathtub than a shower" Carly states as she grabs hercrutches and stands up
"Well I could always help you out of the bathtub" Sonny offers with a grin across her face
"I don't think so, but nice try"Carly remarks; especially after the dream she had the last thing she wanted wasSonny to help her out of the bathtub because if he did she would end up helpinghim out of his clothes which was the LAST thing she wanted and the thing shecraved most.
"Fine have it your way but if you change your mind…"
"I won't" Carly insists as shemakes her way towards the bathroom. As she reaches the bathroom door Carlyglances back towards Sonny while asking "You do own pajamas right?"
"Yeah, why do you ask?" Sonnyquestions with a smirk across his face
"No reason" Carly says beforemaking her way inside the bathroom.

As Jason sat on the couch with a beer bottle in his hand heglances towards the staircase as he watches Sonny walk down the steps. "Carly's up from her nap?"
"Yeah" Sonny sighs out heavily. Hehad waited a few minutes after Carly shut the bathroom door behind her to makesure he couldn't hear Carly moaning out in pain behind closed doors but hedidn't hear anything so he decided to go back downstairs.
"Everything alright?" Jasonquestions before taking a sip from his drink since Sonny had a concern lookacross his face.
"I hope so" Sonny remarks since hewasn't sure himself since it's not like Carly was always truthful with him.
"You think Carly is up to something?"Jason questions by his response
"No….well she might be who the hell knows but that's not what I'm worried about. What worries me is that I heard her moaning in her sleep. I thought she might be in pain but she says she's fine. I just hope she's not lying to me because she's upset over our living arrangements."
"I'm sure she's fine. She a tough person" Jason comments trying to ease Sonny's mind.
"Yeah I'm probably worrying over nothing but I can't mess this up Jason. I can't let anything bad happen to either Carly or my unborn child. I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt of having my family's blood on my hands"
"Nothing bad is going to happen to Carly or your baby because we're going to make sure of it Sonny. Harbor View Towers has guards all over the place and Stan is going to supervise a technician whose coming over tonight to make sure no one can go up to our penthouse level without having a special card
key that we'll have to insert whenever we want to go home. And Carly is going
to have guards with her wherever she goes." Jason states wanting to reassure
his friend that they were taking all possible measures to make sure Carly and
the baby stays safe.
"I want men also following Carly without her being aware of it that way if she tries to ditch them she'll still be safe"
"Benny already appointed men to do just that" Jason states as Sonny sits himself down in his armchair.
"We still didn't discuss what you want to do about Lenny Roberts" Jason notes since between Luke showing up and thenhaving to fill in Sonny about blowing up Sorel's drug's stash there just wasn'ttime to talk about Lenny.
"I don't want to cause Carly more grief if I can prevent doing so but if Lenny gives me no choice I will handle him just like we handle any other threat" Sonny remarks with a heavy sighsince he had already caused Carly so much pain.
"He's running his mouth to the cops at the PCPD Sonny he's already becoming a problem. How much more of a problem do you want him to be before we handle him?" Jason questions back knowingthat Sonny was just trying to avoid what had to be done because of Carly.
"After dinner I'm going to personally send that son of a bitch a warning that will have him running back to Florida"Sonny declares as he silently hopes that his warnings will be enough since hedidn't really want to kill him for Carly's sake but if Lenny gave him no choicehe would.

With a towel wrapped around her body Carly glances at herself inthe mirror as she lets out a heavy sigh. Her shower had turned into a coldshower since she couldn't get the images of Sonny's naked body off her mind butdespite the cold water from her shower it still didn't do a damn thing to gether mind off Sonny's perfect nude body. "Damn these hormones" Carly curses out softly knowing that she had to make Sonnymove out of the bedroom before nightfall or she would end up giving into herhormones desires over and over and over again.
"Hey Carly dinner is ready are you almost done in there?" Sonny calls out from the other side of the door.
"Yeah. Just give me a few minutes" Carlycalls out to him with a heavy sigh
"Are you sure you don't want my help?" Sonny asks
"Yes I'm sure! Now go away!" Carlysnaps out
"Fine I'm going" Sonny mumble outfrom the other side of the door.
Hearing Sonny walk away from the door Carly lets out anotherheavy sigh as she silently wonders HOW the hell she was going to manage to kickSonny out of the bedroom before nightfall.

A little while later as Jason takes a sip from his beer bottlehe watches as Carly glares at him from across the table. Removing the bottleaway from his lips he asks "What?"
"You're drinking beer" Carlycomments as Sonny walks up towards the table and places both hers and Jason'splate onto the table.
"So?"
"You know I'm pregnant and I can't have any so you suck!" Carly spats out since she missed the taste ofbeer.
"Jason, get rid of the beer" Sonnysighs out heavily since he didn't like that Carly was getting worked up.
"Alright" Jason nods as he standsup from his chair. As he walks towards the kitchen Jason chugs down the rest ofhis beer while silently thanking god he wasn't the one that got some girlpregnant because beer was his go to drink.
"Happy now?" Sonny questions
"Am I in Florida?"
"No" Sonny sighs out heavily
"Then you've got your answer" Carlygrumbles out as she looks down at her plate in disgust at seeing all theveggies Sonny had piled onto her plate beside her steak.
"What's wrong now?" Sonnyquestions as he sees her looking down at her plate with disgust
"I eat steak with fries" Carlytells him
"Not tonight you're not." Sonnydeclares as Jason walks back towards the table.
"Then I'll just eat the steak" Carlycomments
"No you're going to eat all of it because you're pregnant and our baby needs you to eat your vegetables"
"I'm not a veggie eater. I'm what you call a second hand vegetarian"
"A second hand vegetarian? What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Sonny questions as he places his hands ontohis hips
"It's simple really. I don't eat veggies but what I eat does. Like this steak comes from a cow and a cow eats grass there for I'm a second hand vegetarian"
Glancing at Jason as he tries to fight back his laughter but
fails miserably Sonny snaps out "Don't encourage her!" Glaring back at Carly Sonny goes on to order out "Grow up and eat your damn vegetables they're good for you!"
As Sonny storms away from the table to get his dinner plateCarly mumbles out to herself "I have to get a dog"
"Sonny would never allow it" Jasonstates before taking a bite out of his steak
"Right, like I care if he would allow it or not"
"Allow what?" Sonny questions ashe walks towards the table with his plate in his hands
"Carly wants to get a dog"
"No dogs" Sonny states as he sitshimself down since he didn't need an animal making a mess inside his home.
"IF this is my home too I should be allowed to have a pet if I want to"
"We're about to have a baby Carly we don't need a dog running amuck inside the penthouse. Now eat your dinner before it gets cold" Sonny orders out since he didn't have the time to fight withher over a stupid dog she was never going to get. He had better things to dowith his time like find Lenny Roberts and put the fear of God inside of him.
"Fine"
He didn't like the tone of voice Carly used when she said finebefore she started to cut her steak but he didn't have the time to address iteven if he knew he probably should since he had a feeling Carly was going totry and go out and buy a dog despite what he just told her.

An hour later Carly was alone in the penthouse since Sonny andJason had taken off pretty much after they had dinner for something businessrelated. She was just thankful that since Sonny seemed to be in a hurry to gowherever the hell he wanted to go she only ended up eating half of the veggieson her plate.
Sitting in Sonny's chair Carly smiles as an idea suddenly popsinside her head to kick Sonny out of the better room. However her plan wasgoing to need money, money she didn't have. Opening Sonny's desk drawer Carlywas hoping to find some cash inside but she found something much better instead…Sonny's wallet. Opening the wallet Carly eyes sparkle as she gazes down at allthe pretty credit cards that were inside his wallet.
As Sonny's limo headed away from the warehouse towards Kelly'sSonny mumbles out "Damn" as he realizes that heforgot his wallet at home.
"What?" Jason questions
"I left my wallet at home"
"Does it matter really? It's not like you're going to need it" Jason comments as the limo headed towards Kelly'swhere Benny had located Lenny from a check Bobbie Spencer had cashed in forrent.
"Yeah you're right. There's no point going back home for my wallet when all we're going to do is teach Lenny Robert a much needed lesson."
Glancing at Sonny, Jason comments "I wasn't going to say anything in front of Carly but maybe letting Carly get a dog wouldn't be a bad idea"
"Are you crazy?" Sonny questionshim
"I know you don't like messes but you're about to have a baby and well kids makes messes anyways. Besides you can get a trained dog or have a puppy trained. I'm just saying buying Carly a dog might help smooth things over between the both of you."
"Yeah maybe…" Sonny sighs out heavily besides even if Carly didn't walk the dog every day he could always have his men do it. One thing was for damn sure he wasn't going to be pickupdog shit and he was pretty sure Carly wouldn't either so really the only peoplewho would be suffering would be his men.

"Yes that's right I work for Sonny Corinthos and he would like all the things I ordered delivered right away and if you could be kind to send some people to redecorate for Mr. Corinthos he is offering to give your men a very generous tip…." Letting out a smile as thewoman over the phone tells her everything will arrived at the penthouse shortyand that she would be sending men to redecorate for her Carly goes on to say "No thank you and have a nice day"
After hanging up the phone Carly hops off of Sonny's desk chairshe was sitting in and grabs her crutches that were by the door. With a littledifficulty Carly manages to open the door "Hey Johnny"
"The boss isn't back yet" Johnnytells her.
"That's alright. I just wanted to let you know that I ordered some baby stuff for the nursery so if delivery men stop by just let them in"
"You ordered stuff for the nursery?" Johnnyquestions shocked
"Yeah. I want to surprise Sonny. I've been kind of bitchy towards him and he's right we are having a baby together so we might as well make the best of it. I'm hoping the stuff I ordered will help smooth things over between Sonny and I" Carly explains.
"That's great Carly" Johnny grinssince if Carly wanted to makeup with the boss it would just make his job thatmuch easier.
"So you'll let them in once they arrive?"
"I sure will" Johnny smiles at her
Smiling back at him Carly utters out "Thank you Johnny and remember this is a surprise for Sonny so please don't tell him"
"I won't say a word" Johnny promisesto Carly; thrilled that Carly had a change of heart regarding the boss.

Pacing the room Sonny and Jason found out Lenny had rented Sonny
spats out "Where the hell is that son of a bitch!? We've been waiting for that idiot for like an hour now. I have better things to do with my time than wait here for that bastard to show up"
"He has to come sooner or later" Jasonremarks as he leans himself against the wall
"Yeah you would think a guy like him would be scared of the dark" Sonny smirks out
"Maybe he got lost and can't find his way back home"
"Or maybe he fell into the pier and drowned" Sonny comments as he hears the sound of keys unlocking the door "too bad" he says softly as he pulls out his gun
Opening the door Lenny lets out a gasp as his eyes lock in onSonny's gun that was pointing at him.
"Come on in Lenny we've been waiting for you" Sonny grins out seconds later Sonny lets out a groan as he watchesLenny wet himself.
