Hi everyone, again sorry it is taking so long to update! I am currently enrolled in an art college and we have been working nonstop. Right now I've been working on speeches for Public Speaking, scripts for Dramatic Writing and, Film and Television, plus I've been filming for film. However I am working on a script that is called "Juliet and the Dragon" it's suppose to be a short film. So after we finish our final drafts I might upload for you guys to look at! Again, I am very sorry for taking so long with this story, thank you so much for being patient with me! Now without further adieu, Fairy High: A Love Tail!

Chapter 9: Fairies of Oz Part 3

(P.O.V Mira)

Watching Natsu and Lucy was like watching my own romantic T.V series, they were just so cute! Ezra walked over to me her suit of armor shinning even in the low light.

"You ready for your part?" she asked a hand resting on her sword like it was natural.

"Yep, ready to go!" I smiled then looked over at Natsu and Lucy once more making smile wider. "They are so cute!" Ezra looked at my questionably, however, Tono called for places before she could ask anything. Loke came out on stage and I waited next to a crystal ball. The lights came on and the curtain rose.

An image of Dorothy, and her companions appeared in the crystal ball. "Oh my don't they look happy walking to the capitol so carefree. They make me want to relax too!" I sat in my chair and started to drink some tea.

"Milady don't you think you should be a bit more concerned?!" Loke shouted, "The girl is going to the capitol, THE CAPITOL who knows was the wizard will ask of her! She could be your down fall."

I paused for a moment, and thought, 'My downfall… Dorothy… The capitol… Lucy…' I suddenly stood up in demon mode, "That brat how dare she go to the capitol! We must stop her!

"Right milady"

"Call the flying monkeys!"

"Right!"

Loke and I both paused and I looked down out of demon mode "Flying monkeys don't sound as scary, do we have anything else more frightening?"

"Unfortunately, no milady…" Loke sighed as well.

"I guess it can't be helped" I switched back, "Send out the flying monkeys!"

(P.O.V Lucy)

"Look!" Happy yelled as he flew up slightly higher. Off in the distance I could see magnificent, emerald buildings surrounded by a great stone wall.

"The capitol" Ezra smiled, resting her hand on the hilt of her sword.

"Let's go and get some fire!" Natsu yelled, throwing his fist into the air.

"Aye!" Happy exclaimed

"You can't eat fire!" I yelled at him.

Gray just yawned as his tail flicked back and forth, "Can we go already?" he asked.

I sighed and threw my arm forward, "Let's go see the wizard!"

Ezra, Gray, and Natsu yelled "The wonderful wizard of Oz!"

"Aye" Happy chimed in.

We were about to march forward when we heard a crackling laugh. "Not so fast, my darlings" we looked around for the voice. "You're not going anywhere."

"There!" Gray called out, pointing to the sky, and there, flying on a broom stick was a woman with white, slightly poufy hair, in a black cloak and hood. She had a beautiful face, and for the most part looked pleasant.

"The Wicked Witch of the West" Ezra narrowed her eyes at the woman on the broom.

"What?!" I looked back and forth between the two shocked that she was the wicked witch.

"Oh Tintania, it's been a while hasn't it, my dear?" The witch smiled down at us.

"What do you want, witch?" Ezra pulled out her sword.

"Oh, Ezra you're always looking for a fight" she giggled happily.

"A fight where?" Gray woke up quickly, then looked around, "Nah, I'm too tired" then he fell back to sleep.

"How can you sleep at a time like this?!" I questioned.

"It's alright Dopey I'll wake him up" Natsu smiled evilly as he held a match by the lion's tail.

"Would you stop playing with fire!" I yelled at him.

"Would you all shut up!" we froze at the commanding voice of Ezra, who was still starring down the witch. "She's not one to take lightly, everyone needs to be on guard." She spoke again, eyes still locked on the woman above.

"Oh Tintania don't worry I'm not here to play today, however, if you do not turn around I know some who want to play." The witch threatened.

"I need to see the wizard, I need to get back home!" I yelled up to her. Suddenly her eyes widen and she appeared in front of me in a flash.

"You… You have it?!" She stared at me .

"Have what?" I questioned as I tried to back up.

"Get away from her!" Ezra shouted as she swung her sword at the witch. In an instant I was looking down at my companions, I was flying in the sky.

"Ah!" I screamed once I realized what was going on, the Wicked Witch had me hanging off of her brook stick, my hands tied around it. "Put me down!"

The witch giggled, "No can do, Dorothy" she turned to the others, "I'm borrowing the girl, she has something I want, in the mean time play with my pets will you?" She waived her hand and in a flash countless of… Flying monkeys appeared? I couldn't believe my eyes, monkeys with bat like wings, sharp claws and teeth appeared out of nowhere.

"Give Dorothy back!" Happy yelled as he tried to fly after me, but quickly got turned around by a pack of the monkeys. Suddenly, everyone were fighting with the creatures.

"Bye, bye!" The witch smiles and started to fly away.

"Oh, no you don't!" Natsu threw some of the monkeys toward Gray, "Take care of these"

"H-hey, wait!" Gray protested, but Natsu was already running after us. I started to work my hand out of my ropes, which was causing some serious rope burn. Finally one of my hands came lose, and Natsu was getting close.

"Scarecrow!" I reached out for him with my free hand, and he jumped into the sky his hand reaching for mine.

"Dorothy!"

A wicked laughed echoed out and I was suddenly in a darkly lit stone room, and Natsu was nowhere to be seen.

"Looks like he was a little too slow" The Wicked Witch smiled as we landed on the floor. I was captured by the witch.

(P.O.V Natsu)

I was about to grab onto Lucy's hand when all of a sudden, WAM! "Ow…" I slowly slid down what felt like a wall. When I reached the ground I looked up and out in front of me was, more land, and the horizon. I stared wide eyed in confusion. "Dorothy? Dorothy where did you go?" I called out and took a step forward just to hit my face again.

"Scarecrow!" I turned around to my name being called and running up to me was the Lion and Happy.

"Where's Dorothy?" Happy asked as he flew up to me. I looked down, and bit my lip slightly. Happy looked down too, landing on the ground his wings disappearing.

"Hey don't be sad buddy, we'll get her back for sure!" I grinned and he looked up at me small tears in his eyes.

"Aye" he whimpered.

"Where's Tintania?" I looked over to Gray.

"She's interrogating the monkeys on the where about of the Wicked Witch" he yawned slightly.

"WITCH!" Suddenly a dust cloud rolled over the horizon, running toward us was Ezra, holding onto one of the monkeys like it was a rag doll. She was making a b-line straight toward the invisible wall.

"Wai-" before I could say anything she hit the wall, hard. The rest of us flinched from the sound of her armor hitting the wall.

"That is what I was trying to tell you" a dizzy monkey with a slightly high pitched voice smoke as Ezra gripped onto him.

"You talk?" Happy questioned as he looked at the less frightening looking monkey.

"Of course I do, mutt!"

"I'm a cat-" Happy looked down sad but the monkey kept rambling.

"I was trying to tell this hot blooded red head that there is an invisible wall around the witch's castle!"

"But you know how to get in right?" Gray asked, yawning once again, causing me to yawn.

"Of course I do!" Ezra tightened her grip on the monkey and we all peered over him.

"So you don't mind telling us?" Ezra gleamed a bit evilly.

"H-h- Help me!" The monkey shouted up into the sky.

(P.O.V Lucy)

I've been here for a few hours now, watching the witch go through books and throw potions into a cauldron. "Um… if you're busy, I can leave, you know, come back later maybe?" I got up and started to inch away when I suddenly bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry madam, but you cannot leave" he paused and looked at me, pushing up his glasses he wrapped and arm around my shoulders, "But if you want I will gladly keep you company"

"Loke" the witch spoke sharply causing Loke to freeze.

"Y-yes, milady?"

"I've done it!" she shouted triumphally into the air holding a book above her head.

Loke clapped, "Well done, milady"

"What have you done?" I asked trying to back away from the two, knowing whatever she has done, was not good news to me.

"I've figured out how to get the mark off of you" she turned a bit more demon like.

"What are you talking about?" I was confused and looked over my body, I was sure I didn't have any marks.

"The mark on your right hand!" she grabbed my hand but I saw nothing, suddenly she went to go touch the top of my hands and a small shock ran through me. She pulled back, letting go of my hand and holding her own, and slowly a pink mark started to appear.

"The fairy mark" she grinned her features darker than before. "Loke, the potion"

"Right away" he bowed and walked over to the mixture in the cauldron, pouring some into a cup he walked back over to me. "Here, please drink."

"No way, I refuse!" I glared at both of them and tightly closed my mouth. The cup came closer, and closer to my mouth anyways.

"Let her go!" a loud crash, the shattering of class, and the loud crumble of a wall filled the room. Standing there, ready for a fight was Natsu, Happy, Gray, and Ezra; who was gripping onto a beat up flying monkey.

The witch clicked her tongue as she turned toward the group of heroes. "How dare you invade my home!" Her body suddenly became scalely, claws formed of her tails, and horns appeared out of her head. "Take over: demon soul!" Her eyes gleamed a eerie purple. Ezra stepped forward dropping the monkey to the ground, a bright light shone off her. Suddenly she had wings made of metal, and he armor completely changed. She also held two swords instead of one.

"Heaven's Wheel Armor" her eyes hardened.

I stared in awe at the sudden change and I mumbled her words, "Heaven's Wheel Armor…"

"Wow, that's so cool!" Natsu's eyes sparkled in admiration for the warrior in front of him.

Loke pushed up his glasses once more and rows of flying monkeys, and solders appeared.

"You guys save Dorothy, I'll take care of the Wicked Witch" Ezra readied her weapons.

"Right!" the three exclaimed and rushed toward us.

"Give Dorothy back!" Natsu was the first to punch someone out, Gray close behind, and even Happy was doing well. It was my turn.

"Oh Loke-sama…" I sweetened my voice, made my eyes slightly bigger, and looked up at him seductively, "I'm not in the mood for all this fighting, how about… You carry me far away from here… Please?" He leaned in closer pushing his glances up again.

"Of course, my love…" He leaned in more, about to touch his lips to mine.

"In your dreams!" I lifted my knee straight into his groin, causing him to fall over in pain. "Scarecrow!" I called out as I hit one of the guards in the head and used his sword to cut the ropes off my wrist.

"Dorothy!" He ran up to me, we were surrounded by the fighting, but I was extremely happy to see him. "What are you smiling about?" he questioned, a puzzled look on his face.

"You know my name" I giggled slightly, causing his to smile slightly.

"Hey love birds; we have a fight going on!" Gray called out as banged two soilders' heads together.

"Right!" Natsu started fighting again.

"We- We're not love birds!" I shouted as I grabbed a book and hit one of the monkeys with it.

"This is fun Tintania, we haven't had a good fight like this in a while!" The witch smiled.

"That's because you had to use your cheep tricks and turn me to stone, you villain!" Ezra slashed at the witch again, and again.

"While this is fun, I'm afraid I have some other matters to deal with" Ezra's eyes widen and she turns and called out to Natsu.

"Scarecrow, protect Dorothy!"

All in one movement, the witch vanished from Ezra's and my sight; Natsu tackled me to the ground; and a burst of powerful air barely missed us, cutting some of Natsu's hair and causing the wall behind us to explode. Mira teleported in front of us.

"I missed" she frowned and scrunched her brow. I stared up at Mira horrified, and Nasty grabbed my hand, pulling me back to my feet.

"Come on, Dorothy!" Natsu gripped my hand tight and pulled me through a door into a hallway.

We ran up a flight of stairs and round up on top of the castle, with nowhere else to go. A crackling laughter rang out around us. "Not bad my darlings, but it's the end of the line for you." Mira appeared suddenly before us, Natsu pushed me behind him and stood in between me and the witch. She smiled "Oh, this is cute, the bag of hay fell in love with the girl with the flying mutt."

"I'm a cat!" Happy bolted toward Mira and full force head butted her in the rib cage. It looked like it hurt for a moment, but Mira quickly composed herself and grabbed Happy by his tail and whipped him to the side.

"Todo!" I called out, as he laid there slightly beat up. I was about to run to him, however…

"I wouldn't move if I was you" Mira grinned darkly as she held a fire ball pointed at Happy.

"Dorothy" Natsu whispered my name, not looking back at me, "Go get Todo, on my mark."

"Scar-"

"Now!" before I could say anything he was tackling Mira down and I was running toward Happy, almost tripping over myself. I scoped up the boy with dog ears and turned my back to the witch to protect him. I looked back to see if Natsu was okay when my heart stopped.

"Scarecrow!" I called up to him, as I still held Happy close. His stuffing was laying around Mira, who was holding him up easily by the neck. Everything was silent, except my heart beating, and the faint sound of thunder in the distance.

"Play time is over Dorothy, time to give up" The Witch smiled and Natsu kept a stern face as his hands tried to pull Mira's fingers from around his neck. "What do you say, darling?"

I watch Natsu closely, his eyes were getting heavy, and his mouth started to move. To my horror they mouthed, "Don't"

"Scarecrow!" I screamed out his name as both of lighting struck behind me, and loud boom of thunder echoed around. Natsu moved his body just enough to kick Mira in the face causing her to drop him. In the next moment though a fire ball was in her hand, she then sent it flying toward Natsu, who was quickly engulfed in flames. I watched in horror as the witch stepped closer.

"Give me the Fairy Mark" her eyes tried to stare right through me, but I was not going to let Natsu's sacrifice be for nothing so I glared back at her, tears streaming down my checks.

"Not so fast" Natsu, still completely in flames, jumped on the back of Mira, "This doesn't hurt one bit!"

"Get off me!" Mira screamed as she started to catch fire.

Gray and Ezra, ran up on the roof top just to stop in shock at the scene. Suddenly rain started to pour from the sky. Mira knocked Natsu off and started to panic.

"No, No, I must get inside!" She ran toward the door, but Gray and Ezra stopped her. The fire on both the witch and Natsu was put out by the water, but Mira was quickly trying to wipe the rain off her skin. "No! I'm melting! I'm melting! Melt… ing…"

I stared shocked that she really did melt, into just a puddle of water. Ezra and Gray ran over to me.

"Are you okay?" Ezra asked, worried.

"Take Todo, Scarecrow, he- He caught on fire, I need to go see if he's okay" I tried to keep my composure as I got up and slipped in the rain on the roof. Gray quickly helped me over to Natsu.

Laying there, not completely burned, but obviously scorched was Natsu. "Scarecrow…" I gently picked his head up and laid it on my lap.

"Hi Dorothy" he grinned weakly up at me, cause more tears to fall from my eyes, and even with the rain pouring down on us, I could tell my tears were noticeable. "Hey don't cry..." He put his hand on my cheek and tried to wipe my tears away with his thumb.

"Wh- Why would you do that… I know, you know, you can catch fire easily… So why Scarecrow?" I held onto his hand leaning my face into it.

"The thunder"

"What?" I looked at him confused.

"I heard the thunder, and I could smell the rain in the air… I knew it was going to rain, so I wouldn't be on fire for long." He smiled again, causing me to break down. I leaned over and pulled him up into a hug.

"Please Scarecrow, please don't die, you can't die!" Holding him tightly, I pleaded and begged. His body was limp in my arms, "Don't die!" I shouted out, hugging him tighter. I knew everyone was watching me, and that Na… That Scarecrow wasn't going to wake up. So I cried, and cried, holding onto him, when my right hand started to grow warm. I felt the warmth leave my hand and move toward Scarecrow, who started to light up with a warm, white light. He started to float up into the sky.

"What's going on?" Happy weakly asked.

"Fairy Mark…" Gray spoke softly.

I stared up at Scarecrow as the light completely over took his body, and suddenly, it was no longer straw, wood, and burnt clothing, it was turning into flesh. He was becoming human. My eyes widen as I sat there speechless. He slowly floated down and landed on his feet, opening his eyes, his body was still glowing. Natsu looked over himself.

"Whoa, what's happening?" He jumped back slightly at himself, causing a smile to play across my lips.

"One of Fairy's Mark's special abilities" we all turned toward the voice and stand there with a smile of her face was the blue haired, good witch. She turned toward me, "Only a strong heart could allow this, Dorothy" The light from Natsu faded and he stood there, a normal person.

"Natsu you have skin now" Happy cheered happily.

"This is skin… my wish came true, I'm a real boy!" he jumped up into the air and I hit him over the head.

"You said you wanted a brain!"

Ezra chuckled and walked over with us, "If you ask me, he has a brain, he came up with a plan to defeat the witch, didn't he?"

"Actually, I was just trying to stall her until you guys came, I had no idea that water was her weakness" he scratched the back of his head and laughed, causing me to sigh.

"Well… Let's get you all to the capitol, shall we?" The good witch asked, a smile on her face.

We all looked at each other, and I nodded.

We stood in the grand room of the Wizard's castle, waiting for him to come great us. The room was filled with food, people, laughter, and fun, celebrating the defeat of the wicked witch. Suddenly people shushing one another was heard around the room, "It's the Wizard" one person spoke. Natsu, Happy, Ezra, Gray and I all turned to the throne in front of the room waiting to see the Wizard; before anything else, however, we heard his booming voice.

"Warriors who defeated the Wicked Witch of the West, I would like to-" suddenly a tiny old man stood by the throne and his voice got smaller, "Welcome you to Oz, and thank you for dealing with the trouble of this land"

While we stood shocked, the locals all shouted and cheered, causing us to sigh then look at each other smiled on our faces. The Wizard spoke again, "I will love to reward each of you with what you want." He smiled and stepped toward Ezra. "Tintania, what is it that you came to the capitol for?"

Ezra knelt on one knee and looked at the Wizard, "Sir, all I wanted was to eat strawberry cake, for I have heard that the capitol makes the best. Due to the gracious party you have held you have already fulfilled my dream." The wizard chuckled.

"Then may I ask you a favor?"

"Anything sir"

"Please become the general of my troops, with your skill, and good heart, I know my people will be protected by you"

Ezra was speechless and muttered out, "I- It'll be an honor" she bowed her head, causing the Wizard to chuckle once more.

"Now you, Lion, what is it that you want from me?"

Grays ears twitched and his tail flicked, "I thought it was to find a quiet place to sleep, but I realized through our adventure, I was just bored and needed some excitement in my life, so if I could keep that feel that would be great" he scratched his cheek slightly.

"Very well, you will be this kingdoms special ops, leader, going on secret missions and living the life of adventure and not the life of sleeping under the trees." The Wizard turned toward Happy.

"And you, you were brave for one so small, what is your wish?"

"To be a cat!"

"Oh? I thought you were a cat" the wizard smiled and Happy's tail wagged happily.

"Aye" Happy flew up into the sky and over to me. I smiled watching them all, and the Wizard walked over to Natsu.

"You my boy, have had a strange miracle happen" Natsu grinned at the Wizard, who smiled back, "What do you want from me, you already proven you have a brain, so is there anything else?" Natsu shook his head no.

" I just want to eat your amazing food, play with fire maybe, and" his smile softened, "That Dorothy be happy" I could hear small awes from the crowd around us, causing my face to flush red in embarrassment.

"Very well, you can work in the kitchen as the head chief, and about Miss Dorothy," the Wizard turned toward me, "What is your wish, Dorothy?"

I lanced my fingers together, "I just want to find somewhere I belong…"

"I'm sorry I can't do that…" my heart sunk at his word, "Because you have already found it"

I looked up, and around the room, everyone was smiling at me, welcoming.

"This is your home, Dorothy" the Wizard smiled at me, "And as long as you are part of this family, do whatever you think is right and live freely, because no one can decide what someone else should do with their life"

The light blacked out, and the curtains closed and slowly a roar of applause was heard. We all looked around and hugged one another. Tono came out on stage, "Alright everyone lets go take our bows!" He exited the curtain and ushered the curtain to open again. There we were all hand in hand, still in costume with bright smiled on our faces, even Mira as the Wicked Witch got applauded. We lifted our arms high and all took a well disserved bow as the audience stood up one by one, still clapping loudly, they gave us a standing ovation. We all hugged each other again unable to control our happiness, at a job well done. Even though I was a little sad it was over, I felt accomplished that we did our first job as Magic Fairy so well. If you saw it, I'm sure you would have loved the play, well I finally have time to relax, so I'll write you again Mom,
